Big blizzard in the northeast US. Hope you are all safe and warm wherever you are.

X: Thanks for the review. I'll try my best.

Spektor: Sorry, I don't do slashes or lemons but nothing says I can't do bromance. And seriously, Rex and Noah have the cutest bromance going on. Also if you haven't already check out SunBinamra's Wingman Waiting about Noah's reaction to Rex's missing months.

Raven: Thanks for reading. I'm assuming you read through my made-up seasons. Did you read anything else? I have to make sure I have something to actually write about before I begin season 7. But I will keep it in mind. I appreciate your reviews.

Riddle of the Sphinx

"You're up late, Holiday."

"I couldn't sleep."

"Still thinking about Black Knight?"

"Ooo, she makes me so angry. How can you possibly destroy all that… that… that history! It was an archeological as well as scientific find of the century and she destroyed it! I wish I hadn't saved her from those mummy dogs."

"No, you don't. You'd have felt guilty later on."

"Maybe… but not likely. She's such a… a… jerk!"

"Not the word I was thinking of… but applicable."

"Oh, I'm thinking of worse words than that but then it wouldn't be a PG conversation."

"You don't need to be PG with me. But it does seem odd that a four thousand year old tomb would contain modern day nanite equipment."

"I know… which leads me to suspect that there is more going on than meets the eye."

"You mean aliens?"

"No! Why does everyone always think that it's aliens when something unexpected shows up?"

"I don't know. I guess people can't believe that ordinary people can do those things."

"Well, how about extraordinary people?"

"They are few and far between."

"I guess. But I know I'm missing something. I need to investigate this further. I mean did you hear what Gharan Set said? I wonder who his father is?"

"We may never know."

"I wouldn't be so sure. I'm willing to bet that there might be some evidence at the site. Black Knight might think she obliterated everything but it's nearly impossible to completely eliminate every last shred of information."

"Except this time you're going to have to keep us in the loop. It could have gone badly if we hadn't shown up."

"I guess you were worried when I hadn't check in for so long."

"You could say that."

"It was a little hard to get a signal when you're deep in a pyramid."

"True, but that's why this time I should do the dirty work."

"You don't think I can take care of myself? I'll have you know that…"

"It's not that. I… If anything happened to you… it would be hard to keep this place going."

"That's not true. White's the one who runs things."

"But without you, who'll take care of the scientific, technical end of things? White only knows so much. I know practically nothing. We need you."

"We need you too, Six."

"Mercenaries are a dime a dozen. I'm replaceable especially now that Rex is back…"

"No! You're not. Who's always there to watch Rex's back, to teach him, to train him? You're just as important. Rex can't do this by himself."

"And he needs you to unload his excess nanites, to keep him healthy, to talk to him about things that I can't."

"I guess he needs both of us."

"So next mission we give you a hand."

"Fine. But I lead."

"I wouldn't have it any other way."

"Oh, I almost forgot, what did you want to tell me back in the tomb?"

"Hmm? What?"

"I thought you had something important you wanted to tell me… you know, before it was too late?"

"Oh, uh, it… it's nothing."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, it can wait for another time."

" Well, okay then, good night."

"Re… Holiday?"

"Yes?"

"I… I'm glad you're okay."

"Oh, thank you."

"Good night."

"Good night."

Several really good writers have already treaded this ground including Lina Trinch. So here is my addition. I don't think I added anything to it, honestly. I really liked this episode but I don't think Six ever did tell Holiday what he wanted to say at least not during season 3.
