"Ali, don't!" Emily calls out. Alison spins around and faces Emily immediately dropping to her knees at the sight of her wife. "Em! This isn't real, you're not real." Alison pleads. Emily winces as she remembers that is what she said to Sarah. She stops in front of Alison and bends down to her level. "I'm real, it's me." Emily replies as she reaches out to touch Alison's hand, only to have Alison withdraw. "You died, I saw you dead. How did this happen?" She asks. Emily takes a deep breath then explains what happened. "I was stabbed yes, but I didn't die. When I woke up in hospital someone injected me with a drug called Rhododendron Ponticum. This drug drops the heart rate to a point where one can be classed as dead. So when you saw me, I was technically dead but I woke up. I went to the house the other night and grabbed some things and my bike. Then I've been hiding out ever since." Emily explains. Alison puts her head down trying to wrap it around what Emily was saying. "The bike. Oh my God the robbery! But there were two people. Who was the other person?" Alison asks. Sarah watches on from under the cover of the trees. 'Don't you dare Emily.' She says in her mind. "I can't tell you that Ali." Emily answers, keeping Sarah's secret. "Why? Why did you go through this stunt, break my heart, your mother's heart?" Alison voice raises in fury. "You ruined me Emily! You were alive for the past week when I thought you were dead. Why Emily? Why!" Alison starts screaming as she pushes Emily, causing her to stumble backward. "Because I was dangerous to you." Emily manages to say. Alison stops her assault and looks at her wife. "What?" She asks. "I was a danger to you. I have this anger , this darkness inside of me. Madness and insanity have consumed me Ali, I couldn't do that to you too. I couldn't drag you down that road too." Emily says, repeating what Sarah told her. "I want a life with you though. I want to live my life happily with the girl I love. Sometimes doing the right thing requires the most sacrifice. The right thing for me to do right now is be with you. I love you Alison DiLaurentis. Forever and Always." Emily adds. "There is no way I can leave you again but if you want me gone, I'll go." Emily offers the choice to Alison. She stands still as Alison stays silent. "I want to know who you were with for the past week. I want the truth seeing as you lied to me about dying." Alison answers firmly. Emily goes silent. Alison glares at her as she awaits an answer. Sarah watches and realises that to save Emily's relationship with Alison then she would have to reveal herself. "I can't tell you Ali. I promised I wouldn't." Emily confesses. Alison sighs as her head falls. She looks down at the wedding ring on her hand before slipping it off. She walks over to Emily and places the ring in her hand. "Go." Alison say broken heartedly. Emily looks down at the ring. Sarah feels guilt arise in her chest, her chest feeling heavy. "Dammit." She murmurs as she steps out from behind the cover. "It was me Alison." Sarah says as she appears in front of Alison's gaze. Alison freezes as she sees the other girl she partially fell in love with. "I have got to be dreaming. You are definitely dead. How are you here Sarah? It's impossible!" Alison yells out in shock. Out of anger, she marches over and before Emily can stop her, she slaps Sarah hard across the face leaving a red handprint on Sarah's cheek. Sarah feels the betrayal behind the slap. "Ali, Sarah had happen to her what she did to me. She woke up as she was being buried. You can't blame her for what's happened. We were both trying to keep you safe." Emily jumps in. Alison raises a finger to Emily. "You should have told me you were alive." Alison says then moves her finger to Sarah. "You…" Alison musters as she takes a deep breath. "You should have stayed dead. Part of me was actually in love with you Sarah and you dying, it broke that part of me away. I don't know why I can even stand looking at you because you are not the Sarah I knew. You are a lying, deceiving, calculating bitch!" Alison adds bitterly causing Sarah to drop her head in shame. "Hey!" Emily yells as she steps between her wife and her best friend. "You have no right to say those things Alison. Sarah has done what she needed to in order to stay alive. She has been watching over us, protecting us like a guardian angel. She has seen way too much death and despair to even calculate. She is still the same Sarah, if not an even better version of the old Sarah because she is willing to risk everything to keep you, me and the other girls safe. So much so that she dug herself out of her grave! Sarah, take off the hood… You want to see what Sarah has been through while trying to help us then look." Emily turns and moves out of the way. Sarah shakily grabs her hood and Alison then notices all the scars on her hands. Sarah pulls the hood off revealing the scar over her eye. Alison steps back in shock. "Oh my God." She says quietly. "You want to blame people Ali, blame A and his minions for having to put us through this torture for the past three years. He has turned us against each other, tortured us, hurt us, killed people we care about, stalked us. The truth is not always the easiest option anymore and what Sarah and I did… even though it meant leaving you which broke both our hearts too, we did it to keep you safe and protect you." Emily adds. Alison allowing tears to escape her eyes. She moves past Emily and stands in front of Sarah. Emily watches intently and Alison places her hand gently on Sarah's red cheek. Sarah, out of reaction immediately melts into Alison's hand, tears forming in her eyes. "I'm so sorry Sarah." Alison says as she wraps her arms around Sarah's neck in an embracing warm hug. "I've missed you so much." Sarah murmurs as she hugs Alison back. Emily smiles as she watches the two girls make peace. They both pull away from the hug before reaching out for Emily to join them. Emily walks toward them and the three girls share a collective hug before pulling away. "I've missed you both." Alison smiles. "So what now?" Alison adds in question. The three girls looks to each other. "Now, we move on and live our lives." Sarah says. Emily glances at Sarah. "You're coming back?" She asks. Sarah nods. "I'm coming back." She replies.
