A/N: Okay, I give up. I tried to make a nice wrap up for the winter, but I just can't do it, so here. This is officially the shortest chapter in our little journey, but I cannot make you awesome people wait any longer before the start of season 3! I am super excited because of the recent developments in season 4, so hopefully I will be able to find the time to update on a more consistent basis again, but thank you all for sticking with me through this, you are awesome!

"We've got company," words that can shatter the world these days. I was still disoriented and I could feel the heat coming off of me. Daryl had to help me to my feet after I pulled my boots on. I had slept in his jacket so all I had to do was grab my bag and I was set. He led me to the door, supporting me because as soon as I was standing the room started to spin. The frigid air was a sharp slap but not as much of a surprise as the dozens of walkers making there way out of the trees. I sighed as we quickly threw bags in the car, trying to be faster than them so we could avoid a fight.

"You should ride with Rick. It's too cold out," Daryl said, shoving his bag into the trunk as well. I definitely didn't like the idea of being in a car with Rick for who knows how long, but he was right. I nodded and ran to the Suburban and climbed into the third row of seats. T-Dog was sitting to my left and I tried to stay far away. Hershel had warned about the dangers of spreading the disease but with all of us in such tight living quarters, it was a miracle no one had picked it up yet.

Rick jumped in the car, slamming the door and turning the key in the ignition all in the same move. He didn't say anything, just drove quietly. I looked at all of us in the car: Rick, Lori, Carl, Carol, T-Dog, and me, we were all haggard and battle worn. Lori looked exhausted, slumped in her seat in the front next to Rick. I felt sorry for her, this was no world to bring a baby into. Her belly was getting bigger and Hershel said it wouldn't be much longer before the baby was born.

Rick pulled over after we had left the walkers a few miles behind. He climbed out and walked back to Daryl and spoke to him in a hushed whisper. A gust of cold wind blew from the opened door and I curled up on myself for heat. I felt a turning in my stomach and clambered into the second row and pried the door open and barely made it out before I began to vomit. I was doubled over a ditch in front of the tree line, shaking. I heard footsteps and saw three pairs of shoes gathered around me.

Once my stomach was empty, I straightened up but wouldn't attempt to stand yet. Hershel knelt beside me, compassion in his eyes as he touched my head. I looked up and identified Rick and Daryl as the other two sets of shoes. I sighed and looked out into the trees. We had a long way to go.
