Hello everyone, can you believe that it's almost the end of the school year! That's incredible and terrifying at the same time. I hope you enjoy this chapter, so on with the story…

"You drew me in with the scent of a distant shore, the melodies of an unknown land" ~Ember H

"Amin, look at me!" yelled Hanji without hesitation lightly slapping the blond haired boy, causing his swirling eyes to snap back into focus. "Seeing clearly now are we?" questioned the scientist. "Yes, much better now thanks Hanji" stated Armin smiling. "Ember tests his reflexes" stated the girl with glasses. Ember who was seated on a table full of the scientist's most recent projects, the girl hopped off the table and raised her fists. Swinging lightly at Armin, he quickly blocked the punch. After which Ember ran her hand through the blond boy's hair tousling his longer locks in fun. "Where is Levi?" questioned the short haired girl. "His office I think" muttered Hanji as she did a final check on Armin. Ember grabbed her book off the table and opened the door to a very dizzy looking Eren, the young boy slightly fell onto Ember and when he looked up with blurred vision saw Levi. "Heichou" saluted the boy falling forward. Ember held him up and pushed him inside to Hanji who was waiting for her next patient. Armin exited the room with Ember.

Knocking on the dark wooden door to Levi's office the girl waited for a reply. "State your name and business" was the cool response she was awaiting. "Ember, to seek your council" the girl replied. "Door's open Hill" he replied. Ember pushed lightly at the highly oiled wood and it swooshed open without a sound. The Corporal was cleaning the room with meticulous care. "Give me a hand brat, the people here before us were boars" he stated with repulsion. After around half an hour's worth of cleaning Levi finally looked up at Ember as he heard a faint sound of a single drip. Walking behind Ember who was cleaning dust from the top shelf of books. He stared down at the floor, leaning to inspect a drop of red on the pristine floor. Sharply turning around he picked Ember up from behind and set her on his desk, all though of cleaning forgotten. "You should stop this, I hate to see you hurting" Levi said with emphasis as he finished wrapping a bandage around Ember's bloody arm. "Bad habits die hard, so they say" she replied simply. "What council do you seek?" he inquired softly sitting next to Ember and taking her injured arm in his lap while gripping her hand. "Just wanted to ask you if you have seen the cadets yet today" she stated. "No. Why?" asked Levi. "Nothing much Myeil just beat them to a pulp this morning. Most of them are lined up outside of Hanji's to get patched up" she stated nonchalantly. Levi growled at this. "Why are we cursed with these characters" he muttered under his breath. "Let's go see Erwin then" Levi said pulling Ember up with him out the door.

Mikasa was a very interesting girl, so much pain hidden behind her eyes, yet so much love for Eren at the same time. Ember saw the pain in her eyes sometimes, making her sad as well. Thus she would do anything for Mikasa. Including the countless hours of training the younger girl loved so much, Ember knew it was the most selfless thing that Mikasa could be doing, instead of accepting the flirtation of Jean or Berthold, she was fighting to become as strong as possible, to protect the one she loved most. So Ember was teaching Mikasa some ballet, she thought that Ember was so quick on her feet because of her dance skills. Finishing a variation she did in the Bayader, she dismissed Mikasa with a curtsy. Leaving the room she headed for her room, preparing herself for another round of nightmares.
