*Hey everyone. I'm extremely sorry for such a late update, school has started up again and I was so crazed I hadn't gotten a chance to update. But here is a Rogan fluff filled with wedding plans. I hope you all and enjoy it and read and review. Xoxo-Hoopsandstuds*

I OWN NOTHING RELATED TO GILMORE GIRLS AND THE DESIGNER IS FICTICIOUS ANY RELATION BETWEEN THE DESIGNER AND A REAL PERSON IS COINCIDENTAL

We carried Lena upstairs, she had been so excited by everything at the hospital when she crashed, and she crashed hard. I laid her down in bed, taking off her shoes and covering her up with a blanket, her cute little face completely at peace as she dreamed of what I hoped were only good things as any mother would. I thought of her request and Logan's question as I wandered to my own room, 4 years between siblings was a fairly good space the other would be old enough to watch the younger, close enough in age to play together but not too close to be competitive about things like who gets what toy.

"What are you thinking about, Ace?" Logan asked, winding his arms around my waist, kissing my neck.

"Your question." I answered honestly,

"Yeah?"

"Yeah, and I don't want to have a baby until we're married." I blurted out,

"Okay…but why? I mean we have Lena and we're not married."

"I want to be." I answered simply, turning in his arms, wrapping my arms around his shoulders,

"Then why don't you actually take planning seriously?" he asked, I was taken aback by that question I had been planning, but then I looked back at the times I had actually busted out the wedding binder, with my mom we got distracted, I took one look at the invites list and got flustered and put it away, I looked at it once or twice with Logan but both times we got…distracted. "Ace?"

"I'm sorry, I didn't, I'm not….I'm not intentionally sucking at planning." I stammered over my words, "I didn't even realize I was doing it."

"Well you've sent in the big article about me, beautifully written by the way. I sneaked a peek," he smiled, "So that stress is gone, you always need a project. Make our wedding your project."

"I'm going to need your help." I stated,

"I'm all yours." He agreed, I got out the most daunting text book in the world, next to the English notes I got the first day at Chilton. We sat down and started hammering out invitations,

"That is not your list." I protested,

"That's everyone I want to be there, I'd add you but I'm assuming your there and you took Lena for your list."

"She's our daughter I figured I'd just add her, here we'll add your to your list an now you have…7 people. I know we're having a small wedding but what about at least your Grandpa, he seems to like me now."

"Okay, so 8 I think that's respectable."

"No, its not!" I protested,

"We'll have a wedding of 26 people."

"I'm okay with that," Logan approved,

"Its not too small?"

"Said by the woman who wanted to elope in the first place."

"That's because this is a scary binder,"

"White with lilies on the front. Terrifying."

"You are so coming when we pick out flowers."

"That's a very weird threat." He laughed, kissing me, "This is great now we cans send out invitations…do we have a date set?"

"…no. No we don't…what's a good day for work?"

"I'm about to become CEO, I can do whatever the hell I want." He smirked and leaned back in his chair,

"I haven't used many vacation days so if we book for August we could have our honeymoon, Lena can stay with… who can Lena stay with?"

"She could come with," he suggested,

"A family honeymoon could be sweet. I wouldn't want to leave her for a week alone with Honour or my mom."

"Who both have relatively new born babies."

"I love Lilly though, it sucks that Honour had a C-section though."

"I thought we were going to have to resuscitate Josh when they told him that."

"How old is Lilly now? 1 month?" I asked, he nodded, "It was so cute seeing you dote on a little baby

"I wonder how Amy is doing… she never called me."

"Whose Amy?"

"Remember, the girl from the bookstore, she was the pregnant teenager?"

"Oh yeah, well Ace. You're some strange lady, which was weird you're giving your number to a random person."

"She needed someone, Mia was there for my Mom, and Mom was there for me this girl didn't seem to have anyone."

"You're amazing." He smiled and kissed my hand,

"Are you free tomorrow?"

"Of course I can be."

"We'll have to go to the store on the Upper East Side to pick invitations, Honour told me it is the place to go to…even though the bill will probably be ridiculous."

"You know money isn't an issue Ace."

"I know but I'll never be frivolous with money. Let me budget for this, please?" I requested, he nodded standing, he spun my chair around and leaned into me his arms on either side of my trapping me on my chair, "what?" I smiled,

"I just love you so much Ace."

"I love you too." I smiled and kissed him, "Why don't we take advantage of Lena being asleep?"

"Sounds perfect." He whispered as we walked back to our bedroom.

I flipped through a binder with pages and pages of invitations and save the dates, various colours, hues, styles, lace, no lace, trim, not trim, the list goes on and on,

"I have another binder if you don't like any of these?"

"Do you have anything…simple?" I asked, while Logan was flipping through another binder, with Lena sitting on the counter "helping",

"Simple?" the red head behind the counter asked me seemingly horrified,

"Yes, our colours are blue and a light blue, these are our swatches." I held out blue swatches that I had picked out in the paint section of a hardware store much to Honour's dismay,

"I have something I think you'll like." She crouched down and started rummaging through a cupboard behind the counter,

"Ace, none of these are right." Logan closed the binder he'd been looking through,

"Why can't we make them?" Lena asked,

"That because a wedding is a very fancy, formal event so we have to buy one that special people decide to make, they have layers of paper, fancy pens and its very expensive."

"I'm going to make invitations one day then, its sounds fun!" Lena clapped,

"Do whatever makes you happy baby girl." Logan kissed her cheek,

"I have this book, I think you'll be pleased. These are a bit more "simple" as your requested." She handed me a book, and I opened it the invitations were less than four layers of paper thick, there was none of them encrusted in jewels, simple hand drawn flowers were at the bottom of the card, the calligraphy was clearly hand written,

"These are perfect," I commented, as I turned the page and there was our invitation, it was white with what looks like a tree drawn along the side of the invitations the words 'Our family is pleased to invite you to celebrate the wedding of _ and _. On the date of _.'

"These are perfect."

"Okay, this designer is fairly small company. She makes them all by hand the maximum number she will make is 150. For an added fee she can make save the date cards as well."

"Logan we have to invite your parents." I turned to him,

"Pretty sure we don't." he answered, his tone stern,

"Its doubtful they'll even come but they have to be invited. Please, for me?"

"Fine…fine. But if they do come they are not allowed within ten feet of Lena, is that understood?"

"They won't come I'm sure of it, but that's fair."

"So how many invitations will we be needing? 150? 100?" she asked,

"28." I replied

"28? I'm sorry, are you serious? The number twenty eight? Individual people?"

"Yes, 28 individual people." I answered, my tone curt. She had not right to be judging our tastes or our wedding size,

"I'll call the designer right now and see how long those will take her. One moment please," she excused herself, taking down the information she needed and went to the phone in the back,

"I felt judged," I commented on,

"So did I, but if she recognizes the name Huntzburger she may be surprised we're allowed such a small wedding."

"We need to book a hall at the Plaza…oh wait your grandfather did that already."

"Yes, and he's told them it is for the month of August and they gave him, and us three dates to choose from. August 3rd, August 16th and August 20th."

"I like the sixteenth." I replied,

"I'll call Grandfather." He took his phone out and wandered to a quitter section of the store,

"Alright, so I spoke to the designer. She is thrilled that you are doing such a small wedding and wants to do the save the dates for you at no charge." She smiled,

"Oh, please. Money isn't a concern for us."

"She insisted," She smiled, "Here is her card and information, she will send out your save the dates herself and I can handle all RSVP information. I will contact you as soon as everyone has contacted me and you can arrange everything around that." She folded her hands happily after handed me the card, clearly hand drawn including the information but it was the neatest writing I had ever seen looked like a computer but was clearly ink. I thanked her and collected Logan and Lena and went on our way home. No backing out now our wedding was in full swing, and I couldn't be happier.
