Hi, lovelies.
Thanks to moonlightkiss1515, zebedeedaniels, mythzzrosenove, ilovelilies247, nymartian and guest (you know who you are, hehe) for helping me. It was very motivating to read your comments. (:
And, I've gone completely mad, obviously, since I have decided to put in new elements that I have planned and keep the old plot (but with a twist). So, there's a lot of the key-elements that will stay...but there's also some that will change. The main characters will get more depth, and there's new scenes for Mirella and Niklaus. Tyler's relationship with Isabelle might change a little, and there will probably be more Klaus-time in turn.
*whispers* I have already started the first chapter today.
And I've finally settled on a summary:
An oblivious, young woman has to face her inner demons when Klaus abducts her as repayment from an old debt. / only liars claim comfort to be satisfying, and only martyrs thrive when thrown in the dark, but when both begin to crumble into pieces from their peril, a puzzle is created from their fall. S3.
*whispers* look below for the very first scene of the story. ;)

"This child…she is not of this world anymore. She belongs to the beyond now. She cannot be, no matter the legend. We should let her lineage die," a soft voice spoke, haunted and terrified for both her sisters and the girl in front of them.
The elder pinched her eyes together in determination, and raised her head high.
"No. When the Alpha's eldest son's fate changed, when his mother betrayed us all, his path became shrouded in darkness…and she must take the same path. For their fates are tied now. It is written. We cannot defy the Laws of Nature."
The younger woman held a hand to her heart and closed her eyes, praying on her mother and their mothers before them. She could not help but feel aware that their actions would either save all that was lost or...bring doom to them for eternity. There was no in between with matters such as these.
She opened her eyes again and raised her head high too. "May the Spirits be with them both."
The older woman nodded solemnly. "Yes, my dear. All that is written shall pass. Have faith. We shall protect her for as long as we can, and then we shall hope that the boy will not consume all that she is. For she shall have her own demons to face when the time comes."
The younger woman lowered her gaze respectfully. "And if she cannot conquer her demons like the boy should have? What comes of her…of us…if darkness spoils her too?" she asked quietly.
"We need to have faith that Nature always plays out the way it should, child."
The younger woman nodded, turned and beckoned for her sisters to take a step closer.
The elder spread her arms wide and her sisters followed, linking their hands together until a circle was formed. Closing her eyes, she spoke the words that would seal the fates of the Alpha's son and the girl together until the day they would meet again.
And from that point on, nothing would be certain.
In the end, for every creature on this earth, applied the same rule…
…those who know how their future will play out, are the ones who have lived it.

Okay, so…did you like this little opening scene? I'm a little nervous, but also excited! I'm going to do my best to stay on track and stay motivated.
And, I've been toying with the idea of updating every new chapter on AO3, but I'm not sure. Since I will put everything online here when it's done anyway. Hmhm.
Follow me on Tumblr (skylessstars) if you want to know when a chapter is finished.
I'm curious. What do you hope stays in the story?
xx,
lionfeathers.
