"NO! Leave me alone!" Belle screamed as she was running away from someone.
"You'll never escape me!" said a deep male voice, "You will always be mine, I'll never let you go." Belle continued to run as she looked back to see Anton, chasing after her.
"No," another deep male voice said, Belle looked in front of her and quickly slowed down to a stop. Who she saw...was Gaston, Anton's half-brother, "Belle's mine!" Nothing could express the fear going through Belle as she watched Anton and Gaston circling her.
"Don't be foolish, you worthless brother of mine." Anton said, "She ran into me first, so that makes her mine!"
"I asked her to marry me!" Gaston argued, Belle kept on looking back and forth at the two, "I killed a beast for her!"
"Well...I almost earned her virginity!" Anton shouted, "It will soon be mine!" He charged at Belle.
"I'll show you who's worthless!" Gaston shouted back as he charged at Belle too.
As the two of them jumped on Belle, she screamed.
Belle quickly woke up and sat up so fast, you couldn't time it. She grabbed her chest and tried to settle her racing heart, but when she grabbed her chest, all she felt was fur. She looked down and saw the nightgown torn in places and that her whole body was covered in thick soft white fur. When she saw the fur, she raised her hands and felt around her head. Belle no longer felt her silky hair, but felt something thick sticking out, her eyes widen.
"They're back." She whispered as she brought her hands back down. Just then, she heard a groan. Belle turned around and saw someone rummaging through the covers. Belle thought it was Adam, considering what they did last night.
"Is that you, Belle?" Adam asked, still under the covers.
"Yes," she answered, "I just woke up."
"I know, I heard you gasp." He said, starting to sit up. The covers started to slide of him, but when they did, Belle didn't want to believe what she was seeing. As for Adam, he knew Belle was in front of him, but he just couldn't believe what he was seeing either, but he decided to point his attention to Belle's face. "Belle, that look on your face says it all, what's wrong?" Belle didn't say anything, she was too stunned by what she was seeing. All she could do...was point at him. Adam just looked down at his body; now he saw what Belle was showing him. He looked at his hands and saw that they were black.
In fact, Adam looked all over his body and saw that he no longer was covered in that plush green fur anymore. His whole body was covered in very little fine black scales. He quickly got out of the bed and went to look in the mirror. When he did, he was speechless for once. His whole body was black, expect his hair and eyes, even his wings were black. His wings also had multiple different bight-colored stripes and the bottom part of the wings had three points instead of one. The black stripes, that were in the middle of his feet and went straight through his wings, were now a very bright green. The only things that remained the same were the red stripes, coming down his eyes, and the blue stripes, coming from his hands.
Adam turned around to ask Belle a question, but when he did, she was now hiding under the covers and blankets. He was wondering if he accidentally scared or startled her, considering the form she was in when they woke up. Adam decided to walk over to Belle's side of his bed and sit down next to her. He placed his right hand on either her side or her back; he wasn't sure because Belle was completely covered by the blankets.
"Belle...I didn't mean to scare you if I did." He said.
"You didn't," she answered, "I think...I scared you more."
"You only surprised me, my dear Belle." He said, "You could never scare me, I think the only way you would do that is...if you died on me." When Belle heard that, she immediately sat up.
"I would never do something like that on you!" She said in a serious tone. Now that she was out from under the covers, Adam now saw what she really looked like...well, at least the top half of her body.
Belle had this soft thick white fur all over her body, except her face. Her face was white, just not covered in fur. Her hands weren't white, they were a thick black color. She also had a very large set of antlers on the top of her head, instead of her silky brown hair. It was like her hair became the antlers; there was also green vines tangled in them.
"You were right about the antlers, Belle." Adam said looking at them.
"I told you I had them!" She urged, "What I like to know is what happened to you."
"That's a very good question." He said looking at his hands.
"I believe I can answer that question." Said a female voice, Belle was so startled that she literally jumped into Adam's lap.
"Who was that?" Belle asked in worry.
"I'm not sure," Adam answered, "but I've got a feeling we may know who it is."
"Of course you do, master!"
"Okay, I know only one person, besides my servants, who calls me that." Adam said. Just then, he saw a yellow butterfly fluttering around. "Belle, you can get off me."
"Sorry." She said getting off him.
"I didn't mean to scare the two of you."
"I should've know it would be you, Chaux!" Adam said, the yellow butterfly flew over to a little table next to Belle's side of Adam's bed.
"Who's Chaux?" Belle asked, Adam pointed over to the yellow butterfly.
"I haven't seen her since I went through my first transformation." He added.
"I didn't mean to scare the two of you." Chaux said, "I wanted to speak with the two of you."
"What about?" Adam asked.
"Whether or not Belle was becoming a sorceress," Chaux answered, "but by the looks of things, I got my answer. It probably won't be long until you some robes of your own, Belle."
"You-you-you didn't see anything last night, did you?" Belle asked in a worried voice.
"I'm diurnal, Belle. I sleep at night and I'm awake during the day, like you. I didn't see or hear anything."
"Chaux, why do I have the feeling you're lying about something?" Adam asked.
"Hmm, looks like your butterfly powers are more powerful than I first thought."
"Chaux, tell us the truth!" Belle pushed.
"Okay, okay! Your mother sent me; she wants me to bring you back to your room."
"I-am-Not going back in that cold dark room of mine again!" Belle urged, Adam didn't get into it. He decided to let Belle make this decision.
"I had a feeling you were going to say that. She...told me what happened to you."
"Don't bring that up." Adam said in a serious tone.
"Note taken, sire. Anywho, I don't know what both of your plans are, but if I were you, I get dressed soon. Otherwise, you may get some visitors...and I don't think we want that to happen."
"I don't care what you are; don't you dare peek!" Belle said, getting out of the bed.
"Don't worry, madam. My eyes will be to the walls." Chaux said, turning herself around.
While Chaux kept her face to the wall, Adam and Belle got dressed. Adam dressed himself in his blue robes and Belle dressed in her spring outfit again. Their reasons was so they can transform back to their human forms. While getting dressed, Chaux told Adam that his moth sorcerer form changes into a butterfly form during the day. He becomes a butterfly sorcerer during the day, because butterflies are diurnal, and a moth sorcerer during the night, because moths are nocturnal. Chaux also talked to Belle, telling her what's going to happen in the next few transformations and what her mother been up to. It turns out Veronica left Belle because of a meeting she had with her empress, Lady Temps.
"I can only guess what the two of them were talking about." Chaux said, still looking at the wall.
"Well, I really don't want to know." Belle said, putting her hat on. "I don't need to know about any important stuff my mother may have with her empress." Adam didn't say anything in the matter, he decided not to put his word in it. To be honest, he just didn't want Belle to mad at something he said.
"Are we ready for breakfast?" Adam managed to ask.
"I am," Belle said, "I guess we'll talk to you later, Chaux."
"You may see me...or you'll meet my half sister, Citron." She answered, "Hopefully she won't be a pain."
"I hope not." Adam said, "Shall I lead you down to the dining hall, my dear Belle?"
"Yes, you may."
