Chapter 43: Attack on Dark World

When we last left the current group, everyone in the Steel Knights' hideout were mourning the death of Rahz. Although with Jaden, after hearing the last words of the fallen knight, the Slifer looked more determined than ever to rescue Allyson and Jesse from the clutches of the Dark World Army.

"Freed," Jaden asked, "I say we go and rescue everyone from that prison camp. We can join forces and help each other out."

The Steel Knight sighed and replied with, "I'll stay..." That answer got everyone looking at him confusingly until he continued, "Protecting the safety of these villagers... that is my duty."

The Senior Slifer nodded, "Okay, but I'm going. Allyson and Jesse could really be in that prison camp. I could also help your people get to somewhere safe..." He stated as he headed for the door.

"Jaden!" Reyna and Syrus shouted to him in concern and followed him along with Axel. "What are you doing?" Syrus continued to ask.

"I'm going to the prison camp," Jaden replied, "I've already made up my mind."

"Think about it carefully," Axel reasoned, "And don't be sentimental on this!"

"You remember what Freed said," Reyna added, "If you go out there now with that comet still casting its light, you'll get spotted plus this place will be in trouble considering how small the rooms are in this place!"

"Not to mention, you don't know if they are really there," Axel continued, "You need more information; don't be impatient!"

"I know!" Jaden growled as he slammed his fist against the wall, "I just can't stand waiting knowing that Yubel's out there in this madness with them. She'll do something with them to get to me!"

Syrus, Reyna, and Axel could do nothing but look at their friend sadly.

Later that night...

Inside another room of the hideout, Claudio looked at the makeshift grave of Rahz made by Freed before he resumed resting. It was a small sand plot with his duel disk inside. He frowned at the man's death and his inability to do anything about.

"You okay, amigo?" Fidel asked as he walked up and sat at the table.

"I thought I saved him from that Fabled monster when she tried to finish him off," Claudio said softly, "This small monster that wasn't a Dark World Army monster wanted him to join their group. When he refused, that demon tried to kill him. I jumped in and defeated her in a duel."

"Whoa," Fidel gasped, "You're just as impulsive as Jaden is now."

"I didn't know I would die if I'd lost," Claudio groaned. "Hell, the last world I was familiar with was just planning on using weapons to do that and just discovered dueling. Still, they fight as if they known it from the very beginning." He sighed once more, dwelling on his experiences. It's just scary thinking about that now. I know I have to be more careful in the future."

The Metal Gear Duelist patted him in the back, "Hey, we all had our share of scares now. Doing all this military training isn't for the faint of heart. There were times I wanted nothing more than to live a normal life; staying away from West Academy's way of dueling. But then I thought about my true motivation of helping others with my skills and military backing. It's how I got as much information about the Dark World Army from dueling one of their guys."

"You dueled one of them?" Claudio asked.

"Yup," Fidel stated, "I was thinking after we helped these fairies regain their homeworld with the help of the Amazonesses, who were also transported there, Allyson and Jesse might be there because of this dimension hopping business. Next thing I know, an arrow was fired at me. Caught the thing right when it would have pierced me and got the bastard out in the opening. He didn't say it outright, but that duelist knew something about hoarding people into their fortresses and forcing them to duel."

"Sounds like cowards to me," the J-Hero duelist stated, "They won't fight straight up and sneak up on others and catch them off guard; having them terrified to the point where they can't think straight."

"Sad to say, but when it comes to strategy, we may have to do things that aren't considered favorable in people's eyes in order to complete missions," the Metal Gear duelist sighed, but then grinned, "On the plus side, the best part for me is that I got a Duel Spirit now." He added with a grin.

"Really?" Claudio asked.

On cue, Drebin showed up and leaned up against the wall nearest them. "You called, boss," The businessman said, still with the cool, smooth-talking voice.

(Play Drebin 893 theme from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots)

"Just telling about how about we met to my amigo here," Fidel smirked, he then addressed Claudio, "Claudio, meet Metal Gear Legend – Drebin. Drebin, this is Claudio Osbourne."

"Hey," Claudio waved.

"Pleasure," Drebin replied with a slight bow. He then looked to his Dueling Partner. "Anyway, I got some intel on these Dark World monsters that you was fighting back in the Mountain and Ice Mines dimension."

"Lay it on me..." Fidel replied.

"The Dark World Army is a dictatorship of legendary monsters hailing from another world. Its army is composed of numerous advisers and foot soldiers, and is headed by Dark World's king, Brron." Drebin debriefed. "While they have several names that shows 'status', they are nothing but figureheads in a way. If you are a powerful duelist, that's all that matters. So far, the only duelists that can pretty much trump things in their favor are Snoww the Magician, Zure the Knight, and of course, the Mad King himself."

"Just those three?" Claudio asked.

"Well, my boss here and others have seen to the deaths of others," Drebin shrugged, which the J-Hero duelist nodded. Fidel also nodded as his partner continued, "Anyway, I hear that they are cooking up something to tip the scales in their favor. While they may be something of a military superpower, the Fabled Way has them a little... lacking in force."

"That's what that demon Topi said she was a part of," Claudio gasped. "And that Urustos guy that Atticus fought in the Age of Metal Dimension we landed in was in on it as well. They were both trying to destroy them."

"Yes, but these guys are like the fallen angels in the ancient lore of your world," the Metal Gear Legend stated, "They tried to defy the Gods that made them because they were too proud of their power. Favored with great strength and intellect, they sought to challenge the ones who made them and they had everything planned. Seeing this, the gods were angered and struck down their blessed children, and binding their souls and flesh with forms of demons, they stole their freedom for all eternity by dropping them from the heavens."

"I guess they are trying to make the best of it by making this dimension their new stomping ground," Fidel figured. "Others included if they showed up elsewhere..."

"Correct," Drebin smirked, "However, since they do have a leader, any who is deemed weak is immediately put to death as such. Such as if you're the loser of a duel. And he's always watching them..."

"Any idea who that guy is?" Claudio asked.

"No clue... doesn't mean I can't find out..." He shrugged.

"Then keep us posted," Fidel nodded.

"Got it..." Drebin smirked as he vanished back into Fidel's deck.

(End music)

"An informant..." Hassleberry said as he walked over to the duo. "I'm impressed..."

Fidel gave a wink as he continued, "Well, I was hoping for Solid Snake to be the Duel Spirit, but Drebin's a cool customer. Not to mention his skills information grabbing and a supplier of quality..."

"Then that means he can possibly find Jesse and Allyson through his information," Crystal realized as she, Alexis, Atticus, and Jim walked in.

"Still, there's the matter of waiting for the comet's light to fade," the Cyber Girl duelist stated, "We can't make a move unless we put everyone here in danger."

"And I'm not sure about risking my life again in a duel," the Red-Eyes Duelist added, "We had to get Urustos off our backs then and save the people back in the Age of Metal. So it's better we're not seen at all."

"Not to mention, we're all caught up in a war between two Fiend-Type Armies," Jim stated as he petted Shirley. "I'm just hoping that the others didn't come across this dimension and end up getting seen by both troops."

Suddenly, Reyna came out of the room she was resting and looked shocked as she came in with Sir Freed. "Guys, Jaden's gone!"

"WHAT!?" Everyone shouted.

Axel growled, "I told him not to anything rash."

Claudio frowned as well, "I can't believe he's not willing to stop and think about this whole thing!"

Outside, Jaden was far away from the village and heading through the forest, 'Sorry everyone, but if what Rahz said was true, then Jesse and Allyson will be at the prison camp!'

"Jaden's been acting pretty strange since he got here," Syrus noted.

"That's because he feels that Jesse and Allyson are there," Hassleberry added, "At the prison camp, there were people that were as young as us."

"But that makes him seem selfish," The small Ra shouted. "It's not like we're trying to leave them there, we're just being cautious about this."

Alexis sighed, "Then we'd better go after him."

"Wait a second," Axel stated.

Freed turned to them as Reyna said, "Yeah, we should... I'm going to knock some sense into for running off again. I know how he feels about Yubel trying to deal with things..."

"Not to mention the Dark World monsters will be there as well," Atticus added. "Meaning he'll need all the help he can get."

Axel looked to Jim and Fidel with both of them just shrugging in defeat.

Crystal turned to Freed and said, "Sorry, Freed. We're also leaving, but we'll make sure that nobody sees us."

And with that, the five of them split leaving Freed, Axel, Jim, Shirley, and Fidel together.

'That's Jaden's power of influence,' Axel thought to himself, 'None of us can resist it. But if we make the wrong move, our enemies will capitalize on it...'

"So, what now?" Jim spoke up, "We better follow after them or else someone will capture them."

"Agreed," Fidel added, "Thanks to Drebin, we'll find out some new info along the way. With more Dark World Army and Fabled Way soldiers falling by the way side, they'll lose influence. We just have to pump more info if we ever cross paths."

"But something does come along to mess with these people," Claudio stated, "I planning on staying and make sure these people don't get hurt." The Overseas Duelists looked at him confusingly, "Nobody here can fight long enough except for Freed, and just one person isn't going to cut it when he's fighting against an army. Not to mention, with what Jaden just did, someone's got to clean up his mess when it happens."

No one missed the implications of what Claudio was trying to say: he blamed Jaden for the predicament that everyone was now caught up in. But they also knew one thing... He was still afraid of seeing Trageodia again.

Axel sighed and nodded, "Looks like we're in agreement..." He turned to Freed, "Sorry..."

"No," Freed interrupted, "This just might help my plan along..."

This confused the three overseas duelists as they followed the Steel Knight out of the grave room and walked back into the room where the villagers were resting. Everyone inside looked to Freed, hearing the sound of his armor and his walking.

"Everyone, please listen," He announced, "We will all leave this spot, and get out of this village."

Everyone gasped as the four duelists looked to each other in bewilderment before Axel stood in front of Freed, "Don't tell me you're using Jaden as a decoy!?" He demanded.

"What!?" Jim gasped.

Fidel growled as he stood in front of Freed and gripped him by his cape, "You're supposed to be a warrior and you're running!?"

Freed calmly removed the Metal Gear Duelist's hand from his cape, before addressing the villagers again, "Hurry, we're leaving now."

Soon, the villagers complied as they stood up from their seats and beds. Axel and Fidel still looked at the Steel Knight with narrowed eyes. Claudio growled, knowing what this might lead to...

Meanwhile, Jaden had reached the prison camp in question and used the cover of the rocks and mountains to check for any soldiers. Surprisingly, there were none to be seen for miles. He checked for the watchtowers and found no scouts. With that in mind, he ran to the wooden gate and peered through the hole to find no activity going on.

'No guards, and the place seems deserted,' Jaden thought as he opened the door and looked around, 'What could this mean?' Just then, he decided to go by the cells and look into them. Several of them were empty as he looked inside. 'Come on, there's got to be someone here!' It was then he reached one that was open and looked inside and was shocked at what he found. "Kurogasa! Mikoto! Bradshaw! Kairi!"

It was indeed the four duelists that ventured into the Kamen Rider City dimension. However, it looked like they'd seen better days as their clothes were tattered and covered in dirt. They were chained up against the wall and knocked out.

The Haos duelist was the first to awaken, trying to shake the cobwebs out of his mind before opening to see Jaden's shocked face. "J... Jaden...?"

"Hang on guys, I'll get you out," Jaden shouted as he prepared to enter. But he gasped again as he saw two more figures inside wearing completely different clothing. And from the blue hair covering the guy's face and the blonde hair covering the girls, he immediately thought of two people, "Allyson! Jesse!"

Kurogasa was also shocked as he saw the resemblance of the two people, and then saw that Jaden went to them first. But once he got close enough, he found that they weren't them. Still, the thought of them being at the mercy of the Dark World Army compelled him to help out. "Hang in there everyone! I'll rescue you right now!" He unlocked the shackles holding the unnamed man and woman, causing them to stir and accept the Slifer's help.

"We were mistaken for warriors..." the man said, sounding a lot like Jesse!

"They left us here..." the woman added, also sounding like Allyson. She then looked to Kurogasa and his group, "They were left here as well... Because they had no fight within them..."

"Hey, save your energy," Jaden said as he walked the two of them out of the cell, "Once I get my Heroes, we can get everyone to a safe place..."

His voice died his throat as he was stopped by several Fiend Monsters such as the Goblin Attack Force, Newdoria, Skull Knight #2, and Boar Soldiers blocking the way out. The group soon parted way to let one monster walk towards Jaden and the weakened people. It was the Fiend that led the search party of Scarr's death, Zure the Knight of Dark World.

"As long as a warrior was still here, there was no doubt that you showed up," Zure stated as his small army laughed dryly and he walked past Jaden, "That's why we left him here. So you are Scarr's murderer, yes?"

"Who are you?" Jaden demanded.

"Zure, the Knight of Dark World," The Fiend proudly stated, "But since many of my brethren were defeated, I was quickly promoted to Commander of my King's forces."

Jaden gasped, "You're Zure!?"

"And you're just an insect who decided to toy with death," Zure stated as he looked behind his back to see Jaden's stare. He chuckled as he drew his sword and unleashed a white lightning bolt that was aiming at Jaden. However...

The bolt split into two and then zapped the man and woman he was holding, making Jaden stare in horror. To make matters worse for him, when the two began to die, he saw the true faces of Allyson and Jesse in his mind before their remains scattered to the skies.

Zure cackled as he saw Jaden's face and pointed his sword at him, "Now it's your turn..."

Jaden just growled and started with intense hatred, causing a red aura to build up around him. It was so powerful that Zure lowered his sword.

'This power,' He thought with a hint of fear, 'It's not like the other brats. Could it be similar to one of the two...?' He snapped himself out of his thoughts when Jaden activated his duel disk on instinct. "You want to duel with me?"

"Yes," Jaden nodded, "I will make you pay!"

Zure grinned as he stabbed his sword into the ground, "Fine, I accept your challenge!" He then looked to his army and commanded, "All of you, give us room!" The army complied with their commander's demanded, spreading out to the sides so Jaden could be far enough distance to duel. Then, Zure gripped the red horn of his left arm and then dragged it towards his wrist to let it transform into a duel disk, pre-shuffled deck included. He also had the jewel holding up his cape glow bright red.

DUEL!

Back at the hideout, Freed led his people outside the rooms there were in. Axel, Claudio, Fidel, and Jim followed him as well. But once they got to the door...

"It can't be," Freed shouted as he found that the door leading outside to the village had been frozen shut!

"The door's been frozen," Claudio shouted in confusion, "How'd that happen!?"

"Some kind of monster," Fidel mused, "But we haven't seen any monsters that used ice, or duelists that can summon those types..."

A demonic, feminine laugh was heard from beyond the door, "I found the remaining rats! It was quite a chore to find you all, but thanks to people running from here to find their friend..."

It was enough to have people feeling worried for their lives. Freed growled, "I knew it..."

"I can't wait to see the look on their faces when they find out they will walk into the trap back at the prison camp," the female voice cackled again, leaving the duelists to gasp in shock.

"Damn, we knew Jaden shouldn't have walked out on us!" Claudio shouted, "He's getting everyone caught up in this!"

"Claudio..." Fidel and Jim gasped in shock.

"Don't worry, I'll be back for you all," the demon continued, "I want to go see the other children before I bring the army to come back to retrieve you. Until then, stay in there... Like you always have!"

*BANG!*

*CRACK!*

"WHAT!?"

"Huh?" Everyone inside the hideout gasped.

Outside the hideout, the demon in question was now livid as she looked up at the cliff over the hideout with her poison, green eyes. She was grey-skinned monster clad in bone-armor that covered the upper body, a long white skirt with golden markings near the hip, and a white cape covering her back. She had white tentacles growing out of her hair with black tips. Her face was covered by a white mask. She currently had a long, wand that was now shattered at the top because of the intruder in question. This was Snoww, the Magician of Dark World.

"You know, I was looking for a rogue woman that wanted to turn back from arrest and commit mischief against an Academy for duelists... But you'll do..." It was Kaiba Corporation's Private Investigator, Seth Scrapper! He currently had a pistol trained on the magician after shooting the wand she held. "Looks like another idiot causing trouble..."

"Who the hell are you!?" Snoww shouted.

"Someone who finds you to be a nuisance," Seth replied, "So, I'd would free the hostages... And I'd like to say I have a good track record of doing that. Please take my word for it..."

Snoww growled as she lunged at the Blackwing duelist, causing Seth to start shooting with the armor blocking the bullets. He was then tackled and pinned down by the Magician, causing a struggle between the two. She was preparing to use her tentacle hair to wrap around Seth's neck, and the Private Investigator had seen this coming. Grunting with all his might, Seth was able to push off by using his duel disk to smack her across the face. It made her release her hold on him and let him get some breathing room as he stood up.

Once Snoww stood up, she conjured a small blizzard around her left arm and formed it into a duel disk made of ice and had a pre-shuffled deck inside it already. Seeing this, Seth complied by activating his own duel disk. "I'll leave your death to my icy minions!"

"Let's settle this," Seth demanded.

DUEL!

Seth: 8000

Snoww, Magician of Dark World: 8000

"I'll start this duel," Snoww announced, drawing her sixth card, "And I'll summon Snow Dragon in defense mode!" She then placed the monster card on the field, letting it materialize into a small, chubby dragon with a dark blue body and red eyes. It landed on the ground, glaring at Seth. (4/1400/900) "I'll also set two cards facedown and turn it over to you." She concluded, inserting two more card behind the dragon.

"That's all you have," Seth scoffed as he drew sixth card, "Beating you will be quicker than I thought. I summon Blackwing – Sirocco the Dawn!"

A blast of black feathers exploded before him, forming into a tall, slender bird-man with dark black feathers, ostrich legs and a black and crimson poncho slung over his upper torso. His raven head seemed more like a helmet, as human features were visible within the beak. (6/2000/900)

"That's a Level Six Monster!" Snoww shouted.

"When my opponent controls monsters and I don't, I can Normal Summon Sirocco the Dawn without a sacrifice!" Seth explained as he prepared another card. "Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind, you're next!"

Soon another blast of black feathers erupted, forming a raven-like bird, with a spherical yellow head, the green feathers cresting its scalp and crimson eyes glaring down at the magician. (3/1300/400)

"And now, Blackwing – Bora the Spear!" The third blast of black feathers created another bird-man, this one shorter and thinner than Sirocco, and his bird-head again a helmet covering his human face, wielding a large black lance with drill spiral patterns running up it (4/1700/800)

"Now you have three monsters without a Spell to use?" Snoww growled.

"When I control a Blackwing other than themselves, I can Special Summon Gale the Whirlwind and Bora the Spear from my hand!" Seth announced. "But they have more than just the effects of being Special Summon and Normal Summoned easily. First up, once per turn, Gale the Whirlwind can permanently halve one of your monster's scores!"

Gale shrieked, unleashing a blast of wind from its wings that struck the small dragon. (4/1400-700/900-450).

Snoww gasped.

"Now for Sirocco!" the Blackwing duelist continued. "Once per turn, he can add up the points of all Blackwings in play, and then give those points right onto one Blackwing! And I'll give them all to Bora!" Gale and Sirocco glowed with energy, soaring around Bora the Spear, who grew to an immense size, glowing with dark energy (4/1800-5000/800).

"What's Bora's effect?" Snoww growled.

"A Piercing damaging!" He then commanded. "Blackwing – Bora the Spear attacks with Black Spiral!" Bora's spear glowed with incredible energy that exploded down as a lance of darkness. He then sent his spear smashing right through Snow Dragon, making Snoww scream at the damage done.

Seth: 8000

Snoww: 4550

"Looks like you were weak after all..." Seth stated as he set his facedown card and signaled the end of his turn. "Serves you right for trying to kill defenseless people!"

Snoww smirked as she drew her next card, "And you haven't seen the terror you just placed yourself in! When you destroyed my Snow Dragon, you placed an Ice Counter on each of your monsters!"

Seth looked to his Blackwings, finding that each of their shoulders were frozen solid. (Blackwings: 1 IC each = 3)

"Next, I summon Cold Enchanter in attack mode!" She continued, bringing out a woman clad in an ice blue outfit that left her shoulders bare, a white cape, and a spiked helmet over her white-haired head. She carried a scepter that had a giant snowflake on top. (4/1600/1200) "And before you question her strength, her Special Ability gives her 300 ATK for each Ice Counter on the field." An icy aura surrounded the enchanter. (4/1600-2500/1200) "And the beauty of this monster is that she can create more Ice Counter by letting me discard a card! And I discard my last three to place them on each monster!"

Cold Enchanter then used her scepter to freeze the Blackwings' feet. (Blackwings: 2 ICs each = 6) (4/2500-3400/1200)

'She's going to be a problem,' Seth thought with a groan.

"I activate my facedown card, Card of Demise!" Snoww continued as she revealed one of her facedown cards, allowing her to draw 5 cards from her deck. Once she saw the last one she drew, she cackled loudly, "Now, I activate the Field Spell Absolute Ice Barrier!" She announced as she opened up the side slot, placed her card inside and unleashed a dome of ice that surrounded the field. "This will drain 500 ATK for each Ice Counter on the monsters!"

Seth growled as he saw his monsters become encased in ice. (5/2000-1000/900), (3/1300-300/400), (4/1700-700/800)

"And to continue, I discard three more cards to place more Ice Counters on your monsters again!" Snoww cackled as she sent three more cards into her graveyard, making Ice Enchanter to make the Blackwings attach to the ground. (Blackwings 3 ICs each = 9) (4/3400-4300/1200), (5/1000-500/900), (3/300-0/400), (4/700-200/800)

"Are you done yet," Seth groaned.

"After I play Premature Burial," Snoww continued, inserting her last card into her disk, "With this card, I pay 800 Life Points and Special Summon Snowdust Dragon from the graveyard!" Suddenly, a giant dragon made of ice descended from the skies, stretching out its massive wingspan and its serpentine body. (8/2800/1800) "With it on the field, I can stop all monsters with Ice Counters from attacking or changing battle positions!"

Seth braced himself for what was about to come...

"Snowdust Dragon, attack Sirocco with Icicle Breath!" Snoww commanded, letting her dragon inhale and then blow and breath of icicle spires at the tallest Blackwing.

"I activate Jetstream the Blue Sky's effect from my hand, saving Sirocco from destruction," Seth announced, discarding the monster in question. A small bird with red feathers on its head and blue feathered body appeared and fused its body into Sirocco's frozen body, making it impervious to the attack. The Blackwing Duelist still felt an aura of pain around it.

Seth: 5700

Snoww: 3300

"And then, I'll have Ice Enchanter attack Gale!" She continued as her monster created ice shards that broke part Gale's body into ice shards and pixels.

Seth: 1400

Snoww: 3350

However, she got weaker because of losing three Ice Counters. (4/4300-3400/1200)

"I end my turn," Snoww smirked, "Any last words?"

Seth drew his next card, "I activate my facedown card, Blackback!" He announced as his facedown card revealed itself, "With it, I can Special Summon Gale the Whirlwind as its ATK is less than 2000!" Gale reappeared with a shrill call. (3/1300/400)

"You won't be using that monster," Snoww stated as she revealed her facedown card, depicting a Sonic Duck being frozen inside of a prison cell, "I activate the Trap, Ice Prison! This will negate a Tuning Monster's effect and its ability as a Tuner while placing an Ice Counter on it."

Gale suddenly froze up inside the Ice Barrier (3/1300-800/400) while making Ice Enchanter stronger with another Ice Counter. (4/3400-3700/1200)

"I'll activate Foolish Burial to send Steam the Cloaked to the graveyard," Seth continued as he took the named monster from his deck and placed it inside his discard slot. "But that's not all, since you don't want me to use Gale, I'll sacrifice it in order bring out another Tuner!"

"How can you do that?" Snoww demanded.

"It was the reason I placed Steam the Cloaked in the Graveyard," the Blackwing Duelist stated, "It's effect will Special Summon itself from the graveyard by sacrificing a monster." Gale vanished into the ground, unleashing a cloud of steam. Flying out of it was a small bird wearing a dark green kimono wrapped with a red obi. It also carried a white sack on its back. (3/800/1200) "Now I'll tune Level 3 Steam with Level 4 Bora to Synchro Summon! Which will also get rid of three Ice Counters!"

Steam vanished into another steam cloud, becoming three Tuning rings that surrounded Bora's frozen body and reduced it to four stars. This left Ice Enchanter weakened again (4/3700-2800/1200)

"Power of the dark, combine with the skies and strike with fury! Synchro Summon! Attack! Assault Blackwing – Raikiri the Sudden Shower!"

The light of the Synchro Summon erupted into black feathers, unleashing a new tengu warrior along with thunderbolts pelting the field. It even destroyed the ice preventing Axel, Jim, Fidel, Claudio and the villagers from escaping. His face was covered by a helmet fashioned out of a crow and his left arm was encased in dark purple scale armor with white spikes, his torso was covered by a dark blue cape. However, while his left wing was black, his right wing was metallic. He drew a silver sword from his scabbard. (7/2600/2000)

"Sorry, but your monster is just 200 points shy of both my monsters," Snoww smirked, "You have nothing left!"

"Then it is good thing I haven't used Raikiri's effect," Seth stated, "I can destroy my opponents' cards equal to the number of Blackwing Monsters I have on the field! But before I do that, I summon Blackwing –Kochi the Daybreak!" A small crane with dark purple feathers appeared with a plume of red and black on its head. (4/700/1500) "Now I use Raikiri's effect destroying Premature Burial, Ice Enchanter, and Absolute Ice Barrier!" He announced. The Assault Blackwing monster thrust his sword in the sky, unleashing another thunderstorm that was similar to one that summoned him. A massive thunderbolt struck down the Ice Barrier, destroying Snoww's monsters inside.

Snoww screamed in terror as her field was wiped clean and saw that the thunderbolt also released Sirocco from his icy prison as well. (5/500-2000/900) She then looked to Seth who stared back and pointed to her and shouted, "Attack!"

Snoww screamed once again as Raikiri led Sirocco and Kochi into a collective attack that knocked her off the cliff and sent her plummeting into the ruined village.

Seth: 1700, Winner

Snoww: 0

Then, her body was broken into golden particles and dissipated into the skies. Seth didn't pay it no mind as he turned to the ice trapping the victims inside. "Raikiri, destroy the ice!" Raikiri conjured up another lightning bolt to strike its blade. It then sliced the ice apart, leaving nothing behind as it melted quickly.

It was then the people trapped inside was able to come out, just as Seth's monsters disappeared back into his deck and he deactivated his duel disk. Seth turned around to see the people he had saved.

"Hey, thanks amigo," Fidel spoke up. "Don't know who you are..."

"Wait," Axel interrupted, "Weren't you with Kaiba after Duel Academy returned to the island?"

"The very same," Seth stated as he pulled out his wallet and opened to show his ID and badge, "Seth Scrapper, Private Investigator for Kaiba Corporation."

"How'd you get here?" Claudio asked, "You weren't with us when we all went through the dimensional portal."

"So that's what that was," Seth mused to himself. He then recalled how he got here...

(Flashback)

Seth stayed on course with his convoy, making sure the prisoners would face justice for endangering lives. It was going good, until he heard some static coming in from his headset.

[Sir! The prisoner's escaped!] The pilot from Helicopter 3 shouted, along with several shouts and hits coming into the sounds. Seth quickly turned to the helicopter in question, just in time to see the pilot being flung out and into the water. Echo stared back defiantly before shutting the copter door and proceeded to fly back to Duel Academy.

Seth growled as he turned the dispatch back on, "Chopper 2, this is Chopper 1! Head back to the city with Ileana Viper! I'm going back to get that woman; I can't have her trying to hurt anyone at that island."

[Yes sir!] Pilot 2 acknowledged and continued on his way. Seth turned his copter around and gave chase to the Gecko Financial Group operative, determined to chase the woman down...

Then he remembered that bright light that engulfed Echo's chopper while he was on her tail and soon engulfed him.

"What the Hell!?"

(End Flashback)

Everyone gasped as he finished recalling his events.

"So, then that woman who helped Viper's wife is around here somewhere," Jim stated and then figured it out. "She must be looking for Adrian..."

"Yes," Seth replied, "She was trying to get to him in order for her to see his 'rise to power'. Thinking she was coming back to Duel Academy and start something dangerous, I gave chase after she knocked out the pilot who was escorting her to prison. I need to get her back knowing how crazy this place is. So far, I've had nothing but chaos as I have the pleasure of knocking out several soldiers. I was staying out of sight until I noticed that Snoww monster trapping you guys in there. You must have your hideout compromised seeing that I passed this place several times never noticed any activity until now."

"No kidding," the J-Hero duelist muttered. "We're just about to go after Jaden after he put this place at risk and left Freed to get these villagers to safety." None of them missed the bitterness in his tone.

"Which is why we need to get a move on, now," Axel stated, "And Claudio, as much as you want to stay and help, all of us have to stick together in order for everyone to come back home. So let's go!"

Claudio sighed reluctantly as he, Fidel, and Jim nodded as the Volcanic Duelist led them away from the mountains. Seth then walked past Freed and his villagers to follow the others while saying, "Stay safe..."

"You as well," Freed replied as they looked into each other's eyes, seeing the strength that they had.

Back at the Prison Camp, Kurogasa was stirring everyone awake inside the cell.

"Mikoto..." He whispered, "Mikoto, wake up..."

"Oh..." She moaned and opened her eyes, "Where... am I?" She then turned to her left and saw Kurogasa, "Kurogasa...? You're here too?"

"Yeah..." The Haos duelist groaned with a smile, "Looks like we managed to survive..."

"But look where it got us..." Both of them turned to see Bradshaw waking up as he made his comment. It also got Kairi awakened as well. "We don't know where we are... but we're as good as trapped."

"How did we get here...?" Kairi groaned in pain. "This can't be Kamen Rider City..."

"It's not," Kurogasa spoke up, "We're somewhere else, and Jaden just came here to rescue us. But it was a trap."

"That means the others were here," the Flamvell duelist figured, "And we're the bait that got them here..."

"Hopefully, Jaden can get us out..."

Jaden: 8000

Zure, Knight of Dark World: 8000

"The first turn is mine," Zure announced, drawing his sixth card, "I summon Gene-Warped Warwolf in attack mode!" He declared as he placed the card on his disk. It unleashed a bipedal white wolf with four arms and sharp claws. (4/2000/100) "I end my turn."

"It's my move," Jaden announced, drawing his sixth card, "I summon Elemental Hero Sparkman!" He declared, bringing out his lightning charged hero. (4/1600/1400) "Next, I activate the Spell Mask Change! By sending Sparkman to the Graveyard, I can Transformation Summon a Masked Hero with the same Attribute from the Fusion Deck! So Sparkman, Transform into Masked Hero Koga!" He announced as Sparkman took the glowing mask that appeared in his hand and then wore it, transforming into the golden and clawed-hand Masked Hero. (8/2500/1800) "Also, since you have 1 monster on your field, Koga gains 500 ATK!"

Koga flexed his arms and gathered power. (8/2500-3000/1800)

"3000 ATK!" Zure gasped.

"It's getting a lot worse," the Hero duelist stated as he removed Sparkman from his graveyard, "Koga has another ability; I banish Sparkman from the graveyard and your Gene-Warped Warwolf loses ATK equal to the Hero's ATK!"

The army gasped as the spirit of Sparkman appeared and transformed into a lightning bolt that zapped Warwolf into submission. (4/2000-400/100)

"Damn," Zure shouted again.

"Koga, attack Gene-Warped Warwolf with Radiant Blade!" Jaden commanded, letting his Masked Hero zoom across the field and chopped the Warwolf by the torso, shattering it into pixels.

Jaden: 8000

Zure: 5400

Koga powered down without a monster to battle. (8/3000-2500/1800)

"That's my turn," Jaden concluded.

While the duel was going on, Atticus, Alexis, Crystal, Hassleberry, Reyna, and Syrus reached a cliff overlooking the fortress where the duel was taking place. They immediately saw Jaden in the middle of the duel with one of the Dark World monsters.

"I knew this was a trap," Reyna sighed, "I don't see Jesse or Allyson anywhere..."

"They could be in one of those cells," Crystal said, feeling hopeful.

"Or maybe they moved," Atticus also figured, "Or worse..."

"Don't say that," Alexis scolded, "Although, no one knew what to expect since we hardly had any information about this place."

"Just hope nothing bad happens to Jaden down there," Syrus said, worriedly.

Suddenly, the sounds of swords unsheathing caught their attention and quickly turned around to see a gang of Skull Knight #2 monsters laughing at them.

"On second thought, let's worry about ourselves," Hassleberry stated shakily as the monsters advanced on them.

Back at the duel...

Despite losing points, Zure brushed himself off and prepared his next card, "It's my turn!" He announced, drawing his next card. He grinned at the card he just found and just shoved it inside his arm. "I activate the Power Zone Field Spell!" Suddenly, Jaden felt a gravity shift as he saw a sphere of dark energy engulfing the field. "In this field, when a monster is destroyed, the owner of the monster loses Life Points equal to its original ATK! And I have just the monster to help you realize this; I summon Power Annihilator!"

As Zure placed the card on his disk, it unleashed a red-eyed, dark armored lizard with silver horns on each side of its head, a horn on its nose, a grey underbelly, and a long tail with a silver blade tip. (4/1800/100)

"Don't forget by having a monster on your field, Koga gains 500 ATK!" Jaden reminded him as Koga powered up. (8/2500-3000/1800)

"It matters not as I outfit him with the Mask of Brutality," Zure continued as he inserted another card into his disk. "This will increase my monster's ATK by 1000 and decrease it by 1000!" Then, Power Annihilator had a mask fitted on his underbelly. It was red and had a monstrous face with fangs plus two claws out of its eyes. (4/1800-2800/100-0)

"It's still not enough," Jaden protested.

The Knight of Dark World grinned as he shouted, "Power Annihilator attacks Masked Hero Koga! And when it battles a monster stronger than itself, it gains 1000 ATK! Too bad, because if it was weaker, the ATK would go down by 1000 instead."

Jaden gasped as Power Annihilator was surrounded by a dark aura, amplifying its power. (4/2800-3800/100) It then charged at Koga, slicing the torso with its bladed tail and shattered it to pixels.

Jaden: 7300

Zure: 5400

"Now Power Zone activates dealing damage from your monster's original ATK," the Fiend continued as the Slifer was now pushed to the ground by a gravity force from the Field Spell.

Jaden: 4800

Zure: 5400

"During my Main Phase 2, I activate Power Spirit," Zure announced, playing a Continuous Spell Card, "By paying 1000 Life Points, I select my Power Annihilator and make it unable to be defeated in battle unless the monster has at least 1000 ATK." A red aura surrounded Zure, but he paid no mind to the pain he received. "And it because of this, your monster has to have at least 2000 ATK more than Power Annihilator to even stand a chance! That's 4800 ATK, by the way..."

Jaden: 4800

Zure: 4400

"At this point, I can see wasn't mistaken," the Fiend continued, "I thought you'd be a force to be reckoned; but you're just an insect! Just how did you defeat my brethren?" Jaden growled, "But for now, let's see the rest of the audience!"

The fortress doors opened up to reveal more troops of the Dark World Army coming in, but with an added bonus as Jaden would soon figure out as he turned around to see...

"Reyna, Syrus, guys!" The Slifer gasped, seeing his sister and his friends being restrained by the Fiends.

"Jaden..." Syrus said with a worried tone in his voice.

"Why did you follow me!?" Jaden shouted.

"Why did you run out of that fortress!?" Reyna shouted back, "After you told me you were going to play it safe, you still ran out on us!"

"And knowing that you were running into a trap..." Alexis added, but then looked to the Fiends who had her captive.

"We got careless," Hassleberry grumbled.

Zure grinned as he looked to the captives, "So the insect's friends have all come to die here! But before we get to that, I'll place one card facedown and turn it over to you," He concluded, inserting another card into his disk. "Now that you have an audience on your side, especially the ones inside the cage, we can really give them a duel to the death!"

The captive duelists gasped as they heard that, "So Allyson and Jesse were here after all?" Atticus wondered, "Then we got to..."

"No..." Jaden sighed, "They weren't here... just someone who looked like them..."

Reyna grumbled, "That means they know what Allyson and Jesse looks like too and used decoys to lure him out..." She then sighed, "Jaden..."

"At least they found us..." Kurogasa shouted from inside the cell, causing everyone to feel a lot a hopeful, "Mikoto, Bradshaw, and Kairi are here as well! If you can beat this guy, we can all get out."

Still feeling the effects of Power Zone, Jaden straightened himself back up and drew his next card, "I summon Neo-Spacian Glow Moss in defense mode." He announced as he brought out the glowing alien as she morphed into a shield. (3/300/900)

"I end my turn," Jaden concluded, 'I'll be able to stop a second attack after I activate my trap...'

Outside, Axel, Claudio, Fidel, Jim and Seth reached the cliff overlooking the prison camp. They gasped as they saw the others being held by the Fiends.

"Damn it all," Axel growled.

"Knew this was going to happen," Claudio whispered.

"At least we can plan a little ambush of our own," Seth stated.

Jim looked to the Blackwing duelist and said, "What do you mean?"

Seth smirked as he began to talk about his plan.

Elsewhere, Freed continued to lead his people away from danger. They were far from the village and the hideout and continued to walk as Freed looked over the mountains. 'This should be far enough...'

"Sir Freed." The Steel Knight turned around to see Kyle look up at him.

Freed kneeled down and patted him on the shoulder, "Just like your father said, you'll become a great warrior." Kyle gasped as what the knight was saying to him, "Become a warrior who serves the people; A Warrior whose main concern is protecting others. But, at the same time, you must think of your comrades in the same way."

"You're going back to help Jaden," The boy realized, to which Freed nodded. He then smiled and said, "Good luck, and I promise to be that warrior you and my father wanted!"

Freed stood up and said, "Thank you." He then ran back the way he came, trying to reach the duel in time.

Back the fortress, Jaden finished his turn, but he was still in bad shape, 'What should I do? I need a good card in order to beat that Power Annihilator and Zure's combo!' He looked over his hand and found that two of his cards were Neo-Spacian Flare Scarab and Common Soul. 'Since he has a lot of Spell and Trap cards on the field, I can use Common Soul of Flare Scarab. I just need the right monster to use it with...'

"It's that the best you can do," Zure grinned as he drew his next card, "I thought I would get a far better challenge than this! First, I give up 1000 Life Points to keep Mask of Brutality in play!" The mask drained Zure of his life points, sustaining itself.

Jaden: 4800

Zure: 3400

"Next, I use Pot of Greed to draw two new cards!" He continued, drawing out his cards. "I summon Chainsaw Insect!" He then brought out a large brown beetle that had chainsaw trends for mandibles. (4/2400/0) "Finally, I activate Ring of Fiendish Power and use it with Power Annihilator!" Around Power Annihilator's tail, a black ring with red sigils appeared. "Now you can only attack the strongest Fiend monster on the field, also it allows my Fiend Monster to deal damage equal to the destroyed monster's DEF! Now attack!"

Power Annihilator groaned as it lost power from attacking a weaker monster. (4/2800-1800/0)

"However, Glow Moss' effect activates," Jaden interrupted, "You have to draw a card, and what happens next will depend on the type of card."

"Very well," Zure announced as he drew his next card. He revealed a Quick-Play Spell called Chain Strike, making Jaden gasp in shock, "By your face it does nothing!" Annihilator ripped apart Glow Moss, shattering into pixels. "Now Power Zone and Ring of Fiendish Power activates, causing you to lose the combined ATK and DEF from your Life Points!"

Jaden yelled as he lost more points feeling the pressure from the Field Spell and the Ring.

Jaden: 3600

Zure: 3400

"Jaden!" Reyna and Syrus cried out.

Quickly, Jaden activated his facedown card, "I play my Trap, Hero Signal!" The Trap revealed itself, unleashing the searchlight with the symbol of the Elemental Heroes. "I can Special Summon any Elemental Hero from my deck to the field."

"In response to your trap, I activate Explosion Fuse!" Zure countered, revealing his facedown card Trap Card, "I also activate Chain Strike from my hand! With this card, I can deal 400 points of damage equal to the number of cards in the Chain Link! And with three, you lose 1200 points!"

Suddenly, several chains appeared from the Spell and hit Jaden's body all over.

Jaden: 2400

Zure: 3400

"Next with Explosion Fuse, I can summon Power Bombard!" He then brought from his card, a small hornet with the same black armor as Power Annihilator (4/1000/0)

Jaden then saw his disk push out the card he desired as well from Hero Signal and fought the pain to summon it, "I pick Elemental Hero Clayman!" Soon, the rock armored E-Hero appeared and used himself as a shield. (4/800/2000)

"Now my Chainsaw Insect attacks your Clayman, but it also allows you to draw a card!" Zure continued as the Insect charged in and ripped apart Clayman into rubble. Jaden drew his card, but he was subjected to Power Zone's effect.

Jaden: 1600

Zure: 3400

"Now Power Bombard attacks directly!" He commanded his small insect to tackle the Slifer, knocking him into the ground.

Jaden: 600

Zure: 3400

"Man, Jaden just keeps taking damage," Hassleberry growled. "Isn't there anything he could do?"

"The first thing he needs to do is take out Power Annihilator," Alexis stated, "But Zure and his Spell Cards make it so that Jaden needs a monster with 4800 ATK or more to defeat it. Meaning Jaden needs to pull out one of his Fusion Monsters and power it up. He can also use Zure's Power Zone against him if he can get those Life Points low enough."

Zure laughed loudly as did his soldiers, "It matters not if I let you draw a card; you gave me the exact cards I need to end your next turn! With Explosion Fuse, my Trap Card will destroy my monster and deal 1000 points of damage. But also if you attack Power Annihilator, Power Bombard's effect will reacts to Annihilator's effect and destroy itself to deal 1800 points of damage as well! There is no way you can win!"

Everyone gasped at what that meant: Jaden could do nothing as if he made a move, his last 600 Life Points would be gone as long as Power Annihilator was the only thing he could touch.

The Knight of Dark World grinned at Jaden's despair as he continued to taunt him, "Is that the despair of an insect? In that case, I'll give you some more!" He then pointed to Jaden's friends and his army, "I'll make you see the lifeless corpses of your friends before you lose!"

Jaden's face went horrified as he turned to see his sister and friends now being held by swords near their necks. "Stop!"

"Now!"

Soon, a blast of wind blew the Fiends away as the Academy duelist ducked to escape the swords. Next, a sound wave distorted the senses of the fallen Fiends and knocked them out. It was then Sirocco the Dawn and Roadie Riggs being held by the claws using their combined power that saved the others.

Zure growled as he saw five more people run through the front door. Jaden smiled at who came in. "Hey, you saved them!"

"Come on, you didn't think we let you guys get killed," Jim smiled.

"Although you did make it tough, amigo," Fidel sighed.

"Enough," Zure shouted as he turned to the followers that were already there, "Kill the ones in the cells!"

The Fiends were about run while Axel was set to use his Volcanic Monsters next, but someone else beat them to the punch!

"You won't!"

Several black balls were thrown at the ground and stopped the Fiends in their tracks. However, they didn't count on the balls exploding into white smoke and obscuring their vision.

"Dark Magic Attack!"

Next, a dome of black magic surrounded the blind Fiends and shocked them like a photo-negative before they too dropped to the ground like flies. Several people then ran out of the cells and freed Kurogasa, Mikoto, Bradshaw, and Kairi.

Once the smoke was gone, everyone saw that it was Melody, Kenji, Vincent, Yuri, and Kylie standing near the cells with proud smiles on their faces while holding on and supporting the once-captives.

"Hey, you guys made it too!" Atticus said.

"Yeah, and it wasn't easy getting away from these Fiends and getting to storm the place," Kenji stated. "Helps if you have the element of surprise."

Seth smiled with his eyes closed, "And here I thought I was the one with a plan."

"You got that right!"

Soon, Chazz, Sam, and Tetsu walked through the front door as well with satisfied grins on their faces.

"Hey Zure," Chazz shouted, "Don't even think of calling your boys outside!"

"Yeah, because they're taking a nap outside," Sam said while cracking her knuckles.

"Chazz, you should really give the Ojamas their due," Tetsu said, "If they didn't lure the Fiends into that trap me and Sam made, we wouldn't have gotten free reign."

The Black Coat Slifer shrugged with a smirk on his face.

"You are all still missing one thing," Zure stated, getting everyone's attention. "Your worthless insect friend still cannot defeat me! My combo will crush his remaining life points!"

"Then let me step in!" Everyone looked up to the scout towers and saw Sir Freed standing over a knocked out Fiend. "If you are a true warrior, you'll fight to the very end to protect everything you hold dear!" He then jumped down towards the duel and shouted, "I sacrifice my life and soul to willingly become Jaden's warrior!" He then erupted into a glowing light and zoomed straight into Jaden's deck, dropping his own Duel Disk in the process.

Jaden gasped at what Freed had just done and then was startled when he still heard the knight's voice. "Jaden! Draw your card!" The Slifer snapped out of it and did what he was told and drew his next card and found it to be Freed himself!

'Use my power and win this duel,' Freed said to Jaden as his card glowed.

Jaden nodded as he announced, "I summon Freed the Brave Wanderer!" Once he placed the card on the disk, Sir Freed appeared and put himself out the field and drew his sword. (4/1700/1200)

"You fool, that weakling knight cannot defeat me," Zure stated.

"Not quite!" Freed shouted as he swiftly cross the field and cut apart Power Annihilator in half before it was destroyed. The Army gasped at seeing the monster vanquished so easily. "With my effect of Justice Bright, I am able to destroy your monster!"

"And here's how it works," Jaden interjected, "By removing two LIGHT monsters, my Masked Hero Koga and my Neo-Spacian Glow Moss, Freed destroys any monster that had more ATK than he did." He then took two more cards from his hand and showed them. "Now I activate Common Soul, selecting Freed and Special Summoning Flare Scarab!"

In a flash, the female scarab appeared on the field and got into her battle stance. (3/500/800)

"She also gains 400 ATK for every Spell and Trap card on your side of the field," He continued, "You have 4, so that means Scarab gains 1600 ATK!" A burning aura surrounded the scarab, increasing her energy. (3/500-1700/800) "And with Common Soul, her ATK is added to Freed!" Freed felt the cosmic energies of Common Soul and increased his strength. (4/1700-3800/1000) "Freed, take him out!"

Zure gasped at what was going to happen.

"Feel my Brave Sword attack!" Freed announced as he sliced apart Chainsaw Insect's body, shattering it to pixels.

Jaden: 600

Zure: 2000

Then Power Zone's pressure along with another slash of Freed's sword to his chest, caused Zure to scream out in pain and shattered into glowing particles.

Jaden: 600, Winner

Zure: 0

Unbeknownst to everyone, five white orbs dropped from where Zure once stood. Soon, they had each had kanji runes on them that glowed red.

Everyone had just saw the death of Zure, Knight of Dark World; especially the Fiends who just woke up in time to see the last move made. All of them shook in fear at Jaden, who now had an angry face and looked towards the spot where Zure was.

"Lord Zure was defeated!" One of them shouted. Once Jaden looked to the same Fiend that uttered that declaration, he ran away and caused the other monsters to run in fear.

The holograms of Flare Scarab and Common Soul vanished as Jaden walked up to Freed. "Thank you, Freed! I thought you were..."

Suddenly, Freed started to glow golden and it also caused his card to glow the same. Seeing the shocked face, Freed warmly smiled, "My soul was tied to that card. That was the condition for you to have your trump card."

Jaden then released what was done, "You sacrificed your own life!? No way!"

"At least I've moved the villagers to a safe place, and helped you escape your own death." Freed stated.

"No!" Jaden shouted.

"You are a fine warrior, Jaden." Freed's final words before he erupted into golden particles, causing Jaden to bow his head in sorrow.

Once it was all done, everyone that was held captive finally dropped to their knees in astonishment. Pretty soon, everyone got together and emotions were on high that everyone present was safe. Except for a select few.

Kenji ran over to Alexis and kneeled down to hug her, "Hey there..." He said warmly. But all he got from his girlfriend was a sad smile before she looked gloomy again. "What's wrong?"

"This... can't go on like this," Alexis muttered.

"No kidding," Reyna sighed, "Why is he going so far?"

"What are you talking about?" Chazz wondered as he knelt down with the Reyna and the Couple.

"It's Jaden," Claudio spoke up, "He keeps getting everyone involved into things bigger that we can control. Every time we try to put a plan together, he goes off on his own just to rescue Jesse and Allyson. Just to find out they aren't there and he puts himself at risks along with others." He then stared at Jaden's back, "And look at what we just lost..." He added with bitterness.

Melody walked over to Claudio, placing a hand on his shoulder, prompting the J-Hero duelist to hold on to it. 'And I'm losing Melody over this either...'

Jaden then looked to Freed's Duel Disk, he looked with determination, "Mark my words! Freed, I will avenge you and save your comrades." He gritted his teeth as he continued, "Also Allyson and Jesse..." He then looked up at the abandoned fortress and shouted, "For Freed's sake, even if I have to pay with my life, or risk whatever it takes, I'll will save you all!"

Hearing the declaration, Axel, Fidel, Jim, and Tetsu looked at the others worriedly. When they heard about Jaden, this is not what they read up about.

Alexis looked at Jaden sadly, 'If we keep following Jaden, someday we'll also...' She didn't finish that thought as one of the fallen orbs had the kanji marked for sadness vanished.

Syrus looked scared after seeing the duel and whimpered, 'This whole thing... is no duel!' He thought as the orb with the kanji for doubt vanished.

Atticus looked disgusted and afraid of what happened, 'Man, this whole thing is way worse than dealing with Viper and his flunkies!' He thought as the orb of anguish vanished.

Chazz growled, 'That idiot! That's what he's been doing to everyone! He's nearly getting everyone killed!' He thought angrily as the orb of anger vanished.

Hassleberry was also disturbed at what he's been seeing lately, "This world... just doesn't seem right." He stated to himself as the orb of hatred vanished.

Everyone else just looked at Jaden worriedly or questionably as the Slifer kept looking up at the comet with anger in his eyes.

Whew! This was a crazy chapter! I was thinking about another duel, but now I'm going to put it in the next chapter. This allows me to setup the next chapter the right way considering the next events. Also, please give me the feedback I need. I know it's been awhile, but it's been rough on my side. Thanks for reading!
