~TRIS POV~

"Sorry, I thought my bladder was going to explode." Christina says as she returns back to her seat at the table with me after her quick trip to the restroom.

"No problem, she was a sweet lil cupcake as usual." I say referring to an adorable and content Avery who I cradle in my arms. I reach over and take a sip of my iced tea and Christina resumes digging into her Chinese chicken salad.

With my job working me full-time, and her being busy with a new baby, we still try to visit as often as we can together. We still hang out with our group of friends a often, which is great, but we also still make sure she and I get together at least once a week just the two of us. Well, three of us, including Avery. But I don't mind one bit. I'm head over heals for the little cutie.

"So, as your maid-of-honor..." She starts to say with a proud smile, "I insist we start wedding planning soon. I mean, you're getting married in what- 5 months? 6 months? That's not much time." She says as she shovels another bite of lettuce gracefully into her mouth.

I laugh at her insistence of getting prepared for the wedding. "Yeah, about 6 months. We're thinking September. He will be swamped with meetings with Marvel in August and I'm covering extra shifts for Lynn in July while she's on vacation. Anything earlier than that wouldn't quite give us enough time to plan and save up to pay for our honeymoon."

"September will probably be great weather too. Assuming you're having it outdoors." She says.

"What makes you assume that?" I chuckle.

"I don't know exactly- you just love the outdoors and so does Four. I guess I just envisioned it outside."

"Well, you are correct. We thought about doing it at that small church in town, but ended up leaning towards having it at the beach." I say smiling as I put the pacifier back into Avery's mouth that started to fall out.

"Aw...the beach?" She asks, obviously referring to the one that Four and I have claimed as our favorite, and where he proposed.

I nod since my mouth is full now of my bite of food.

"That's a fantastic idea, I love it! Wow, you've planned more than I realized."

"That's about all really. September, at the beach, close friends and family."

"And the bridal party all picked?" She asks.

"Well, it's pretty obvious." I chuckle. "You as maid-of honor." I start, "Marlene, Shauna and Susan as bridesmaids. Four is going to ask Zeke to be his best-man, and Uriah, Will and Caleb as groomsmen. And if you'll allow it, Avery too, as the flower girl. Even though she won't be able to walk, maybe you can carry her or something." I say.

"Absolutely!" She says enthusiastically.

"Okay, now I'm anxious. Can we please go to that boutique and look at dresses? It's only a block away!" She practically begs.

"Fine, but I only try some on if I decide I like it, you're not shoving me in anything." I say.

"Deal." She says as she stands and takes Avery from my arms. I grab our bags as she places Avery in her stroller.

"So, did you guys get drunk last night for St. Patty's day?" She asks as we walk down the block.

"Nah, not really. But we were feeling slightly festive, so we went to the pub and had a few Guinness' and some of their delicious Shepherds pie though."

"Yeah, we decided to avoid the crowds, so we stayed in." Christina replies as she reapplied her lipstick with one hand, pushing the stroller with the other, while simultaneously covering Avery up better with her pink blanket.

"You're really mastering this mommy stuff. Look at those multi tasking skills." I tease.

"Did you doubt me?" she chuckles as we approach the door to the boutique.

"So, what kind of dress are you even interested in?" Christina asks me as we browse the small bridal boutique.

"I don't know really...something simple. I mean, I want it to be pretty and I like detail work, but I don't want anything big and poofy or a long train or anything. And no veil or tiara or any of that." I reply. "I think I just want a simple up-do or hair half-up with a flower in it or something.

"You would look amazing in any of these." Christina says while also browsing the racks. "Especially mermaid style since you're slender." She adds.

I flip through the hangers of dresses, specifically through the area of summery looking that's not too extravagant.

One of the employees comes to ask if we need any assistance, but I thank her and let her know we're just browsing. It's fun to get an idea about the style dresses. I want to consider, but I'm not expecting to actually find one to buy today.

However, after only about 20 minutes of looking through their selections, I find one that catches my eye. I pull it off the rack and hold it up against my body.

"Oh. My. God." I hear and look up. Christina looks at me with jaw dropped. "Please try that one on. You have to. You'll regret it if you don't." She insists until I give in and head towards the dressing room. It's beautiful, but let's see if it actually looks okay on.

A few minutes later, I look back at myself in the triple mirror and I can't believe it. It's the first dress I've tried on and I know it's the one. I jump at the banging on the dressing room door.

"Don't you dare take that dress off without showing me first." Christina scolds through the door. I sigh but laugh as I open the door for her to see.

The first thing my sight registers is Christina in a bright magenta colored bridesmaid dress with the puffiest sleeves I've ever seen. It has a huge dip revealing her cleavage and has sequins swirling around in a paisley pattern across the whole garment. She obviously put this on as a joke, but her silly smile drops as soon as sees me. Her smile broadens and becomes one of awe and pride.

"You have your credit card with you, right?" She asks, also knowing immediately this is the one.

"Yep." I say with a big smile.

"I'll grab someone to bag it up." Christina says with a matching smile.

~TRIS POV~

"I want to get another tattoo." I tell Tobias as we wash our cars in the driveway.

"Okay. What of?" He asks.

"I haven't decided yet, but I have a few ideas."

"I already know what my next one is going to be." He says.

"You do?"

"Yeah, I had Tori's brother draw up the design last week." he says.

"Were you even going to tell me?" I laugh and toss the soapy sponge at his back.

"Hey!" He exclaims with a laugh as his shirt drips wet now. "Yes. I was going to tell you. But not about the design. That's a surprise." He says as he takes off his shirt.

"Well that's fine by me, you have good taste. Just don't get that Jessica Rabbit design Zeke was drawing on his napkin last week at the pub, despite how much he said it would look good on your bicep." I chuckle and start rinsing off my Audi with the hose.

"No worries there, I don't let Zeke in on any tattoo designs." He laughs too.

"You want to go get them tonight? The tattoo parlor is open until 9 o'clock." He says.

I don't tell him, but I already have my design picked out too, I just hope they can pull it off as well. I've never been to this tattoo artist, just the one back in Chicago.

"Yeah, that sounds awesome." I agree.

"Okay, I'll call and see if they have openings this evening for both of us." he says as he grabs out my cell phone from my pocket, while simultaneously coming up behind me and pressing me against the car where I am leaned over to try and dry the very top. He reaches out and helps me reach the areas that are a stretch since I'm short. I can still reach all the areas since my car is low enough, but he likes to think I need his help. Plus, he obviously just wants to push up against the back of me. I wiggle my butt against his crotch and he groans in pleasure, but quickly tries to change his demeanor when the person on the phone obviously answers.

"Oh, hey- it's Four. Do you guys have any openings tonight?"

-THAT NIGHT-

"So this is where you got your other work done?" I ask Tobias as he opens the door for me and we head inside the tattoo parlor.

"Yep, Tori's brother George is the owner and he did all the work on my back. His whole crew here is great though." He says. Which is reassuring since he's booked George and I'll be having George's wife do mine.

"Hey Four, how's it goin'?" a tall, muscular and heavily tattooed man with a handlebar mustache greets us as we approach the glass counter full of body jewelry. He definitely looks the part of being a tattoo artist, but he seems friendly and surprisingly approachable, despite his intimidating size and overall look. I can tell by his facial features he is related to Tori.

"Doing good George. You?" Four replies as they shake hands.

"Doin' just fine." he replies, then looks to me. "And you must be the future Mrs. Eaton?"

Tobias smiles at me and then back to George.

"That I am, I'm Tris. Nice to meet you." I smile and shake his hand as well.

"I believe you know my sister?" He asks, referring to Tori.

"I do, I worked for her for quite a while. She's great." I say. "And I guess in a way, she helped me meet Four. It was because of her giving me a chance at the coffee shop. He was one of the customers my first day." I say, feeling slightly silly for bringing this up right now. In hindsight, I doubt this tough tattoo biker dude would be interested in our love story. But oh well.

"Well, she has a good eye for hard working individuals. And obviously fate was meant to bring you two together." He says with a smile. "You're both getting tats tonight, right?" He asks.

"Yep. Jenny set me up with you, and Tris is with Lisa." Four explains, referring to the conversation he had with their receptionist.

"Well, Lisa is just finishing the clean up from her last customer. She should only be another couple minutes. You want to wait out here while I get started on Four?"

"Yeah, no problem." I say. Tobias kisses my forehead and smiles before following George into one of the 5 back rooms shielded by a curtain.

I wander around the front area browsing around, half-listening to the receptionist at the side counter who seems to be currently jotting down an appointment for another customer. I look through the several pictures displayed in the many binders on the counter tops, all photos of the tattoos they've done before. This boosts my confidence in their work even more, they're obviously great artists.

After a few more minutes, a woman emerges and comes over to introduce herself as Lisa (George's wife) and pulls me back to her tattoo room. I show her what I'd like to have done and she seems excited to get started.

As she prepares the tattoo gun, she has me lay on the cushioned table on my side.

As she gets started, she asks about Four and I and how we met. Apparently she had heard a little, between Tobias' recent visit and from Tori. So I tell her about us and end up letting her know we already put her and George on the guest list and can expect an invitation.

She ends up telling me about how she and George met back in high school and how they pretended to hate each other at first, but eventually the truth came out and they fell in love.

Time flies as she talks and before I know it, my tattoo is done. I look in the mirror and admire her amazing job and thank her profusely. She bandages me up and I replace my shirt.

When we walk out to the front of the shop, I see Tobias and George through the front windows, where he is showing Tobias his motorcycle. Lisa and I step outside and the guys look up at us and smile.

We say our goodbyes and head down the sidewalk together, currently enjoying the comfortable silence and stealing glances at each other. I use my thumb to play with the engagement ring on my left hand and smile to myself. I look at him again and admire how the street lights reflect off the features of his face.

"So, how did Lisa do?" He asks.

"Amazing, she's really great. It's kind of a sensitive spot where I had it done, so it's sore. But she did it really gently." I say. "How about yours?"

"Also great." He says.

Once we get back in the car, we drive to the local ice cream parlor and order 2 milkshakes. One chocolate, one Oreo cookie. We get them to-go and sip on them on our way home.

Upon arrival, as usual, Riley is eager to be let inside from the backyard. Tobias kicks off his shoes and then goes to open the door for him. Riley happily greets is with a wagging tail and tongue panting. Excited to see we're home, he hurtles into the family room and jumps onto the couch waiting for us. I kick off my shoes too and set my purse by the door. Then we settle into the living room with him and look to each other again.

"Okay, the anticipation is killing me, let me see it!" I tell him, still having no idea what his tattoo is of or where he got it. But, I have a good feeling it's on his chest by the lumpiness under his shirt, I'm thinking that's where his bandages are.

"I'll show you mine if you show me yours." He says with that adorable smirk of his.

"Does that have a double meaning?" I tease back.

"Of course." He says grinning. He winks and I roll my eyes, but I'm still smiling, he's just too adorable.

He lifts his shirt over his head and I see the bandage across his chest, over his heart. I smile, anxious to see what it is.

As he carefully pulls back the bandage for me to see the tattoo that is underneath, he smiles shyly at me as the ink becomes visible to my awaiting eyes.

"I was kind of a copy cat, I hope you don't mind." He says.

His tattoo is of a bird, matching the ones on my collar bone. Just above it, is the word 'always'. Its beautiful. I realize I should tell him so.

"It's beautiful."

I look from the tattoo up to his eyes. He smiles lovingly at me and before I can say anything else he continues to speak.

"You got those birds, for your family." he says pressing his finger tips to my collar bone, "Well, mine represents you, Tris. Because I love you, with all of my heart, always.

Hearing him explain it like that to me, what that tattoo means to him...to me...it's more than I could have imagined. He had his skin permanently inked for me. I've never felt so loved by anyone like I do by him, and this yet again, just takes our relationship to a level of a surreal nature. I can't believe this amazing incredible man is going to be my husband. He's my soulmate. And he basically just tattooed that on his heart.

I am beyond touched by the sentiment. My only response is a heart felt "Thank you, I love it." and I grin at him with all the love that I feel for him. I carefully re-adhere the bandage cover for him, give the area a light kiss, my eyes never leaving his. Then I crash my mouth to his. We kiss deeply and passionately, until my lips are swollen and practically numb. He hesitantly pulls back.

"I definitely want more kisses. But first, can I see yours?" He asks. "Did you end up getting that anchor design you liked?"

I shake my head. His brows furrow in question.

"I might still get that one day but this time, I decided on something else." I say.

He then lifts his brows awaiting me to show him. I lift my shirt as well and show him the tattoo on my left side, where the writing starts on my ribs and goes around my side, almost to my back, but not quite that far as the writing isn't huge. The quote- in what appears to be Tobias' handwriting because of how well the tattoo artist copied it from the sheet I showed them- reads:

"Love is only a word, until you find someone who gives it the definition".

It is one of the many things he said in the notebook he proposed to me with. All of those things meant so much to me, and after reading each one, I knew I could easily agree with all of them referring to him. But when I re-read this beautiful quote, I immediately pictured it as a tattoo. So I got it. I didn't even think twice. And I absolutely do not regret my decision.

He looks over the tattoo intently, his jaw slack. "I wrote that. About you." He states with a chuckle, but it's not out of humor, it's more out of awe. I nod.

"It means a lot to me that you said something so special to me. And I couldn't agree with it more. You are the definition of love for me." I say with a smile. He grins back as he looks adoringly into my eyes. Then he glances at the tattoo again and carefully trails his fingertips below the writing, getting as close to it as possible without touching the actual the sensitive skin that was so freshly tattooed.

"That even looks like my writing." He says.

"That was my plan. I had Lisa trace it and copy it exactly." I say, smiling bigger at his emotional expression. In his single expression, it shows me the awe he's in, the love he feels for me and that hunger he has to be with me in the intimate way that he and I share only with each other.

"I love it." he says and kisses me. He pulls back and looks at me again. I love you."

"I love you too." I reply immediately before his mouth is on me again. He explores my mouth, before trailing it down my jaw, to my neck and to my collar bone. He slowly makes his way further down, as he reaches around to unclasp my bra, which sits only a couple inches above where the tattoo and bandages are.

He shoos Riley away and lays me back on the plush couch. He kisses down my torso and slowly removes my jeans and panties.

"Yours too." I demand with a smile. He smiles back as he stands and pulls off his jeans as well. Taking his black boxer briefs down along with them.

He hovers back over me and kisses near my new tattoo, then my breasts, up to my neck and then to my lips. One of my hands holds his neck and the other his bicep. I love the feel of his arm muscles as he holds himself up to hover over me.

I trail one hand to start touching his magnificent cock, pleasantly surprised to see he's already fully hard for me, despite only being like this on the couch for less than a minute. I stroke him as I kiss him back and he moans into my mouth.

"Please, I want to be inside you." He pleads. I smile against his mouth and guide him to my entrance. He expertly slides into me and holds it there, both of us relishing in the feeling of being together.

He rests his forehead on mine as he begins to thrust in and out of me, his breath enticing on my lips.

He rolls his hips into me, already pushing me closer to my release. His hand caresses my breast as he nips my lips with his.

"You're so beautiful." he says. "And fuck- you have the best boobs." He adds as he rolls my nipple between two of his fingers. This makes me smile, not only because he's making me feel sexy by his compliment and by the feeling of his fingertips, but also because I've always been slightly self conscious about my chest, being that I've only filled up my b cup in the past couple years. Where as Christina and my other friends had C's or D's. Hell, I think even a couple have DD's.

"Your perfectly sculpted chest isn't too bad either. If you ever get tired of doing artwork, I'm confident you could make it big as a male model." I tease as I run both hands across his chest, hands splayed out so that I can touch as much of him as I can. All the while, he maintains the steady rhythm of moving his hips against me, expertly sliding in and out. He chuckles at my comment, but it falters as he bites his lip, over come by pleasure. I can tell he's close, and so am I.

"Tris." He says, but it comes out as a hushed pant.

His deep sexy voice causing his throat to rumble against my lips as I kiss his skin there. It overwhelms my senses and pushes me over the edge. My waves of pleasure seem to milk him as well and we're both panting each other's names as we ride out the incredible sensation.

After a minute of just holding each other, he sits up and looks into my eyes. We share a meaningful smile and a few faint touches.

I see his forehand crinkle in concern. "Getting our hearts pumping with amazing sex probably isn't so great after being freshly inked. Is your tattoo throbbing too? Are you in any pain?"

"Yeah, it kind of hurts like a bitch right now. But believe me, it was worth it." I smile satiated.

"I almost forgot about them and their need to heal, I was pretty caught up in the moment. If I had remembered, I wouldn't have been as rough." He says sadly.

"I'm fine, trust me. That area is definitely sensitive and sore, but you didn't hurt me. The way you made me feel, how you always make me feel, is incredible. " I assure him.

"You sure? Let me get you some a pain reliever " He suggests.

"I promise. I'm fine.." I say with a smile as I sit up and lean against him.

"You're so stubborn sometimes." He chuckles as we stand and make our way towards the bathroom. I pinch his butt in response and he laughs as he shimmies out of my grasp.

We clean up and go snuggle up in the cozy white sheets and down comforter of our bed. Riley, as usual, curls up at the bottom of the bed.

I yawn and that causes him to yawn too. "I love you." I say as our hands link together.

"I love you too." He tells me. "Sweet dreams." He adds.

"You too." I reply before we share one more goodnight kiss.

P.S. I still don't have any rights to Divergent, the brand names I use, the actors I mention, etc. I'm just a fan, enjoying the ability to write fanfiction.
