Happy Christmas Eve to those of you who celebrate it! Have a fluffy chapter :)

Bilbo returns late from the gardens, happy that he'd pressed Thorin to put them in.

"You need a garden!"

Thorin scoffed, "I can't keep those whimsy flowers you have in the Shire; they wouldn't survive here."

"But imagine the beauty! There are flowers that would flourish in the mountains; besides, Erebor would be the only dwarf kingdom with gardens!"

"No."

"You would cut your reliance on Dale for food," Bilbo sing-songed as if he hadn't heard.

Sighing, Thorin agreed. "Fine, you pesky hobbit. Now let me work!"

It was funny, Bilbo thought, because Thorin hadn't planted a single food crop.

Hope you enjoyed the first chapter where Bilbo finally realizes something is off. :) It only took 52 chapters...

P.S. How about some "ForĂȘt noire," which, according to one of my dearest readers, is the best dessert in the world. For those of you, like me, who don't know what this is, think chocolate and cream cake with cherries. Yum!

P.S.S. Get me up to 300 reviews for an update on Christmas?
