Yeah, Sorry I have not uploaded in a while- I have just started A Levels, signed up to help mentally physically and mentally handicapped children with music therapy (Screw Hogwarts- what I have seen of this so far is real magic), as well as World Challenge (To go to Ecuador and the Galapogas. OMD, it is gonna be amazing, if I can get a place!) and I have been ill for the past couple of weeks (Absess on the base of my spine, fever, vomiting, headaches, common cold, nose bleed etc. etc. Yeah, It was not nice.)
So, last time I uploaded the three had began their focus proper, and stuff :D So, hope you enjoy! :D
Chapter 47- Cornelia, New York
Sazh meanwhile, was waiting at the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport for the plane to Albany. When he had received the text, he immediately dropped everything, and hurried to the airport.
Luckily, the next flight still had seats left. Otherwise…
Meanwhile, he checked the length of time the flight would take, before texting Spencer the details, asking if Spencer could pick him up at the Albany International Airport.
He sat there alone, with barely luggage, just waiting for permission to get onto the plane. Finally, over an hour later, his was told to get onto the plane.
He barely listened to the instructions given by the air hostess, concentrating on how they should complete their focus. How they should save the people in Cornelia, New York.
He did not even notice the plane lift off, his mind preoccupied by thoughts on the focus. He just could not wait for the two hour flight to be over. At least he wasn't driving though…
Nothing much happened on the plane. People just sat there talking, food was offered, the normal thing which always happens on planes. Nothing unusual at all. So when the plane finally landed two hours later, Sazh silently was overjoyed, and he was one of the first people to get off the plane.
Sadly though, it would be another three hours before Spencer and Lightning could pick him up, and from there, another half hour drive to Cornelia.
Eventually, Sazh left the airport for a spot of fresh air, buying a newspaper which mentioned the disaster at Cornelia on the front page. He sat there, quietly reading the article, studying what was causing the disaster, and then trying to work out the best way to kill it.
The thing that attracted his attention though was that whatever it was had killed a group of children his son's age. What if it was his son killed by that monster? He could not help but think "What if his son was there, dead, instead of being a L'cie? What if I was not able to protect him?" as he continued toread.
Finally, he walked back to the airport, the thoughts still plaguing his mind. It was time. Finally, the focus was nigh. Finally, he had his task, his so called 'destiny' to complete.
"Sazh!" Lightning shouted, "We're here! Let's go!"
Sazh nodded, following Spencer and Lightning to the car, and quickly they sped away, their final journey towards their fates.
However, once they reached the road to Cornelia, a random cop stopped them. Saying it was too dangerous to go there. The response was that Spencer and Lightning both flashed their FBI badges.
The cop let them though, not keen to challenge them. The three of them began to talk about the focus as they drew closer and closer towards the place.
Cornelia had arrived. And it would lead to their crystallization.
