Disclaimer: I do not own BTR

Yeah...I know it's been a while buttttt I'm back. I just finished another semester of college and now I can focus on writing! I know it could be tough to keep up when I post a lot for a while and then stop but I appreciate you all!

In this chapter...Ethan realizes some things...

Chapter 50: Evan's POV

I was in the kitchen cooking dinner, waiting for Adam to come home. He had stayed a little late tonight, so I wanted to make sure he was taken care of when he got home since he had a longer day that I did. I was just making simple Spaghetti and meatballs, but it was his favorite.

A few minutes later, I heard the door unlock.

"Babe, I'm home!" Adam called.

"In the kitchen," I called back.

A few seconds later, he came through the door smiling.

"Something smells good," he kissed me.

"Cooking your favorite, it's almost done," I said. "Grab plates?"

"Sure thing," he sat his stuff down, going over to the cupboard.

We made our plates and sat down, talking about our day.

"Evan, I want to talk to you about something," Adam said.

"Okay, what is it?" I asked, slightly nervous.

"I know we've only been married for like 2 months or so now, but I really want a baby," he said straight forward.

I didn't say anything; I just looked at him mainly because I didn't know if that was what I wanted yet.

"Say something," he pleaded.

"I think my Papi would die if we had a baby," I said. "Of excitement I mean he loves babies, but my brother and my sister are about to have babies and that would be a lot."

"We live in different houses," he said. "It would be kind of cool for them all to be around the same age."

"Where did this desire come from?" I asked.

"I was just thinking of how we have this nice roomy house with no one else to share it with," he said.

"We just got into our careers," I said. "We would have to take absence, so how about this. Give it a few months. At least for my siblings to get to their later months of pregnancy and if the timing is right, we have a baby."

"…I can do that," Adam smiled.

"Okay great," I grabbed his hand, kissing it.

"Thanks for listening, I thought that maybe you would freak out," Adam said.

"Of course not, I can't wait to a family with you, we just need a little more time," I said.

He nodded and we went back to eating.

"So…who would carry the baby?" I asked.

Adam and I prided ourselves in having a very versatile relationship. Unlike our parents, where one was dominant and the other wasn't, we both carry pretty masculine aspects of this relationship. We even flip flop all of the time when we had sex, so it wouldn't be weird if both of us carried a baby.

"I wouldn't mind carrying the baby," Adam said. "We just can't be like my parents and impregnate each other at the same time."

I laughed at that because it was a laughable situation now.

"You carry this time and I'll do it next time," I said. "I want to get the experience at least once too."

"Deal," Adam smiled.

Ethan's POV

I woke up to the sound of a knock on the door. I groaned, getting out of bed and going to the peep hole to see that it was Luke. I opened the door.

"What do you want?" I asked.

"Someone woke up grumpy," Luke observed.

Noah ran in after him and I smiled at the kid.

"Hey Ethan!" Noah hugged my leg.

"Hey buddy," I kneeled down, hugging him. "How are you today?"

"Good, I got Mcdonalds," he held up a cup.

At that moment, Laura ran out into the living room, excited to see Noah and her dad. The kids ran into the kitchen to eat.

"I brought breakfast cause I figured maybe you needed a little more rest, so I got you some grapes because I know that soothes your stomach and I also went to the market and got you some aloe juice because I know you've been craving it," Luke held out a bag.

I was genuinely surprised. He actually paid attention when I complained and listened to the things that make me feel better.

"Wow Luke, thank you," I smiled genuinely at him. "You didn't have to do this."

"I know, but this time around even if we're friends, I want to prove to you that I can be a good baby daddy and I'm here if you need me for anything from someone to talk to someone to run out and get food to settle your cravings," he smiled.

"Well we have…" I started.

"An appointment in an hour, I know. I remembered," he winked. "Go get showered and eat and I'll make sure Laura is ready by the time we leave."

"Okay," I smiled.

I got into the shower and for some reason, I couldn't get the smile off of my face. It was like this was the Luke that I wanted him to be when I was pregnant with Laura and it was something about having Luke behind me that comforted me a lot. It was nice.

I got out of the shower and got dressed before going into the kitchen and eating with everyone else.

"What are we doing today?" Laura asked.

"Well, we're going to go to see the baby before we take you to school," Luke said.

"Yay!" Laura was jumping up and down.

She was so excited to meet her sibling. She asks me every day: "is the baby going to be here tomorrow?"

"Am I going to meet the baby today?" Laura asked.

Right on cue.

"We still have about 5 and a half months baby," I said.

"I want to meet the baby now," she whined.

"You've got to stay happy," Luke kneeled down. "If you keep a smile on your face the baby will be born happy."

"I'm going to keep the biggest smile on my face," she said, cheesing.

"Me too!" Noah stood next to her smiling.

Luke looked up at me and I couldn't help but smile at all of them. We got the kids into the car and together, the four of us drove to the clinic. During the ride, Noah and Laura were chatting excitedly about the baby.

"It's going to be a boy," Noah said.

"Boys are gross, it's gotta be a girl," Laura made a face.

"Keep that mentality," I turned to look at her.

"Hey!" Luke chuckled.

"You're gross," I shrugged, with a playful smile on my lips.

"You didn't say that when you used to su-"

"Luke," I gave him a warning look.

"Right…"

He forgot for a second that we had kids in the back. The kids kept talking about what the baby would look like and all of those different things as we pulled into the parking lot. I look at the car next to us and saw that it was my sister's car, meaning she had an appointment today too.

"No way," I smiled. "Em is here."

"Let's go see her then," Luke got Noah and Laura out of their car seats.

We walked inside and signed in, waiting to be called back. It took maybe 2 minutes for us to be called.

"Baby Mitchell," the nurse called us.

The four of us stood up and made our way to the back area. When we were on the way to our room, Emma and Josh walked out of their own.

"Ethan!" Emma smiled, pulling me into a bone crushing hug.

One thing I learned very quickly was that she was VERY hormonal and very intense while pregnant. Almost as bad as Uncle Kendall and that's saying something. I took a step back to look at my sister, who had a pretty round stomach at this point. She was 21 weeks, so she was halfway done with her pregnancy.

"How is my little niece or nephew doing?" I asked.

"Your niece is doing great!" Emma said.

"Wait, you just said niece," I smiled big.

"We just found out it was a girl," Josh smiled.

"That's so awesome," I said, pulling them both into a hug.

"I was right!" Laura reached up to rub Emma's belly.

"You can teach her to be just a sweet as you," Emma smiled.

"Anyway, we gotta get in there so we can get the kids to school," I said. "I'll call you tonight. Love you."

"Love you too big brother," Emma smiled.

We walked into the room and the nurse took our vitals. At this point I was 14 weeks. My bump was just now starting to form and my morning sickness was subsiding for the most part. I was glad that I was moving into my second trimester finally, but we still have a long way to go.

Dr. Martin came in as happy as usually.

"I'm just getting my daily dose of Mitchell's and I love it," he smiled. "Work with your father, just did your sisters appointment and now we're on to little Ethan. Next thing you know we'll be getting Evan in here."

"My Pops would have a heart attack if all three of us were pregnant at the same time," I laughed.

"That's a visual," Luke joked. "You could do a sibling maternity shoot."

"That idea is kind of everything," I was laughing now.

"Who knows," Dr. Martin said. "Evan and Adam are very fond of one another. Anyhoo, let's get a look with the transducer."

I laid back and he did his thing. He looked over my vitals, showed the kids the baby and printed out a sonogram.

"Is your sickness subsiding?" Dr. Martin asked.

"Mainly yes," I said.

"Perfect," he said. "Second pregnancies in men are typically a breeze, especially if you had no problems with the first, so we can make another appointment in six weeks. If you want to come again soon, just give me a call and I'll find a space for you."

"Thanks doc," I smiled. "You're the best."

"I try Ethan," he chuckled.

We left the place and then took the kids to school. After we were done with that, I was quiet on the ride home.

"You tired?" Luke glanced at me as he drove.

"I forgot how fast pregnancy takes a toll on your energy," I yawned. "It's only like 9 and I still have the whole day of work ahead."

"Well, you're going to do a foot bath when I take you home before work. It'll really help you in the future so the foot pain won't be so bad when you're 35 weeks and grumpy."

"I really have to get the schedule ready for this shoot," I said.

"Just take 10 minutes to do it," Luke said. "My baby daddy needs to be taken care of and I'm not taking no for an answer."

I smiled at that; why is Luke making me smile so much? When did he become such a good partner in this…right…he's always been a great father.

"You're staring at me," Luke observed.

I snapped out of it.

"Oh sorry, I was just thinking…"

"You were thinking about how you realized that I'm not a bad guy. I made bad decisions, but I'm a great companion to have in your corner. Eventually when you let me I can't wait to show you just how much I can support you," Luke said.

"What do you mean by me letting you show me?" I asked.

"We're limited Ethan," he explained. "I can only support you as a friend. If we lived together, if we were a real family I could make sure you were as comfortable as possible at all times."

I didn't say anything…I just looked out of my window, trying my best to hide the smile on my face. He could be winning me over slowly…

Very slowly….

Boom! We got some more good stuff ahead! I'm excited. I also want to take a moment cause Carlos, Alexa and Ocean moved to Hawaii and I'm so happy for them when it comes to finding where they're at peace. I think it's cool for them to be different. Also, Carlos booked another series and I can't wait to see it!

Question: Will Evan and Adam have kids or will something get in the way? What do you think Ethan will have? I'm also accepting baby names for boys and girls since we know we have two babies to name for Ethan and Emma. Drop name ideas in the reviews.
