Here you go, I hope you guys enjoy. Please forgive the typos I missed.

"What would you have done if I wasn't the one to walk through that door?" He chuckled softly.

"I just figured that everyone respects your space enough to not come in here without your permission," I shrugged, looking down at the bed.

"Is everything okay Bella?" He asked taking a seat next to me.

"I love you so much," I whispered.

"Bella what's going on?" Jasper asked. His blue eyes searching deep into mine. I shook my head and pushed him down on the bed.

"I'm sorry I make everything so complicated. Like tonight, it felt amazing to lean against you in public but at the same time I had so much anxiety and I could feel your cousins staring at us. I don't want you to hate me for not being how I used to be-"

"Isabella Marie Swan," Jasper said as he rolled me on to my back. "I love you so much, please stop. Tonight was amazing but I understand they made you uncomfortable. I am okay with keeping you to myself in moments like this if this is what you want. I have, will, and could never hate you for anything ever. You are still the Bella I fell in love with when I was 17 okay?"

"Okay," I whispered before he kissed me deeply.

Removing each other's clothes slowly made me want to cry as I could feel the love rolling off of him. His warm hands ran over my pale skin as if I was so delicate he could break me and yet he kissed me like he couldn't breathe and I was his oxygen. Rolling around the bedsheets I found myself falling more in love with him than I thought possible. Jasper was everything I could ever want. He completed me in every way.

"I love you," he murmured as I curled up onto his chest.

"I love you too," I replied as I began to fall asleep.

I woke up, tightening my grip around Bella's sexy body and she moaned slightly in her sleep. I looked at the clock and cursed under my breath. It was too late to sneak Bella out before the gang got here for school. Bella took a deep breath in as she opened her eyes. "Is everything okay?"

"Yeah," I murmured. "We just won't be able to get you home before the couples head to school."

"Oh," she murmured groggily. "That's okay. We can sleep more."

I chuckled and held her closely. "Sounds good to me darlin but I need to lock the door first."

She groaned as I pulled away and got out of bed to latch my door. The last thing we need is someone barging in on us sleeping together. We would never hear the end of it.

"I just didn't want you to worry," Bella whispered. "I know I already told Annie. But I know you would want to be told too."

She paused before responding, "Ben," with a sigh. "You know I love you. I just saw Annie first before I left."

I rolled over and looked at her. She smiled and mouthed sorry. "Okay Ben. Okay, I will see you tonight."

I kissed up her arm as she hung up and she laughed softly. "I'm sorry I woke you up."

"You're fine," I murmured. "We should probably be up anyway."

"We didn't have Fields's class today did we?" Bella asked, her eyes going wide with panic.

I chuckled, kissing her shoulder, "No we are just supposed to be writing today, so she gave us all the class period free."

Bella smiled and looked at the time. "Late breakfast?"

I nodded, "Sounds perfect. Want to stay here or go out?"

"We can stay here," she smiled. "Wait, is Esme and Carlisle gone?"

"They should be," I said as I looked around for some clothes.

I threw on shorts as Bella sat up in bed with the sheet pulled around her.

"Can I steal some of your clothes?"

I chuckled, "of course."

She tiptoed to my closet and took an old tee and some sweats. She groaned as she looked in the mirror.

"Jasper why didn't you tell me my bangs were sticking up!" She exclaimed, quickly trying to pat them down. I laughed and came up behind her, pulling her to my chest.

"You're so cute."

She pouted and took one of my ball caps down. She smoothed out her bangs and put the hat on making them stay in place. I looked out the window to triple check the gang was gone before we headed to the house.

We walked into the kitchen and I started pulling out things to make pancakes and eggs. I thought I heard something so I turned to Bella and rubbed my neck. "I'm going to run upstairs okay?"

"Okay," she nodded. "I'll finish up."

I gave her a kiss before heading upstairs. I found Esme pacing outside her office. She blushed when she saw me.

"I was trying to decide how to give you two alone time," she smiled.

I sighed and rubbed my neck. "This is a really long story and Bella actually doesn't want to tell anyone so I'm only going to say that she was my ex from high school and we are back together now."

Esme opened her mouth and then closed it. She brought a finger up to her lips and nodded, "okay I won't pry."

"Thank you, and we haven't told the gang obviously"

She nodded, "I'll respect your wishes."

We both walked downstairs to hear Bella singing to the radio and flipping pancakes on the stove. When she turned around she turned bright red at the sight of Esme.

"Hello dear," Esme smiled.

"Hi Mrs. Cullen," she stuttered playing with her hair.

"I was just about to go to the office for few hours," Esme smiled. "And Bella, please call me Esme."

"Esme," Bella smiled.

"You two have a good breakfast," Esme said as she walked to the door. "I'm sure I'll see you two later."

Once Esme was gone, Bella sighed and put her hands on her head.

"Bella I'm so sorry. I thought she was gone when we came in," I explained.

"No Jazz, it's fine. You don't have to apologize. It was going to happen eventually…" she sighed. "I just wish…she probably thinks I'm…she always sees me after we've had sex."

Then it clicked why she was so upset. I pulled her close to my chest, "hey Bella Esme loves you. Like seriously she asks about you all the time. I told Esme you were my ex-girlfriend, she understands. Besides she would never judge you. Ever. There is not a judgmental bone in her body."

"I just want to have a good impression on your family…"she whispered.

"You do," I replied. "I promise you do."

I kissed her softly and smoothed her hair around her face. "Come on, we should eat before everything gets cold."

BPOV

When we were done eating, Jasper got cleaned up and we headed back to my place where I could do the same. I smiled at Jasper as I came back from the shower. He was fiddling with my guitar on my bed, just humming. I never thought I would be this happy again. I never thought I would ever have him in my life again, but I am so glad that he is. I thought I would be angrier with him but now I understand what he went through and even then to extent I don't. I still have Daniel and mom. Jasper lost everything.

He looked up and his brow furrowed. "Are you okay Darlin'?"

I smiled softly and nodded, "I just love you."

"And I love you," he smiled. "So what do you want to do for the rest of the day?"

"We should probably finish our project for Fields since that's what we were given a class period for."

"You're such a good two-shoes," Jasper chuckled.

I took my hair out of my towel and curled up in desk chair in front of him. "I just want it done and out of the way."

"What do you want to do then? Slow? Upbeat?" he smiled as he strummed two different rhythms.

"I feel like we always do slow stuff for her class," I sighed as I looked down at my notebook that I grabbed.

"But that's partially because we typically do heavier things with the band."

I nodded, " That's very true."

"We should just stick to what we do best," Jasper chuckled.

"What is that?" I asked.

"Love songs," he smiled.

I giggled and nodded, "or break up songs."

"Have you been working on anything lately?"

"Not really. At least not anything for this. We've been practicing so much for this stupid battle."

"It is not stupid," Jasper feigned hurt.

"Daniel takes the fun out of it," I laughed. "But don't worry you'll finally know what it feels like to lose."

"I love it when you're competitive," Jasper chuckled.

"Have you been working on anything lately?" I replied, shaking my head.

"I have a slow melody going," Jasper shrugged. "I've been playing it on the electric guitar."

I got up and went to my closet to retrieve mine. I took it out of its case and handed it to Jazz. "Show me."

He tuned it up and started nodding his head a little bit to remember. Once he started playing I closed my eyes and it felt so melancholy. I started swaying and humming along. When he stopped he half smiled. "That's all I got."

"It's so sad," I said.

"I imagine more talking-like singing, you know?" Jasper murmured.

"Yeah," I nodded. "I'd like that."

"I feel like we write a lot of sappy stuff," Jasper said as he gave a stiff laugh.

"That's what we know best," I shrugged.

"I feel like this should be about deciding though, you know? Like deciding what to do. I feel like this is almost a goodbye tune. You know? It's like sad and hopeful at the same time."

"Okay…"I trailed.

He sighed and leaned over to kiss me. "I'm not thinking of leaving now Bella."

I half smiled and nodded, "I trust you Jazz."

"It doesn't even really need to be a love song," Jazz shrugged. "I mean that's what we're good at but it can be about leaving the band or something else."

"Now we're sleeping at the edge and holding something we don't need?" I suggested.

Jasper smiled and nodded, "Yeah I like that. This delusion in our heads is gonna bring us to our knees."

"I love it," I smiled.

We spent a couple hours refining and writing, deciding whose part was whose. When we had it down and we decided to run a through to see if we needed to tweak anything.

Jazz started playing and I started nodding along as he started singing.

"From walking home and talking loads, to seeing shows in evening clothes with you. From nervous touch and getting drunk, to staying up and waking up with you."

"Now we're sleeping at the edge and holding something we don't need. This delusion in our heads is gonna bring us to our knees."

"Come on let it go, just let it be. Why don't you be you and I'll be me. Everything that's broke leave it to the breeze. Why don't you be you and ill be me."

He sang the chorus and it sounded amazing. I noticed my phone light up but I was too distracted to look at it.

"I used to recognize myself its funny how reflections change. We're becoming something I think it's time to walk away," I sang before leading into the chorus with Jazz. I always loved how our voices sounded together. It felt like they were made for each other.

We broke into the bridge swapping lines before doing the chorus again to bring it all together.

"So come on let it go

just let it be

why don't you be you and I'll be me

everything that's broke leave it to the breeze

let the ashes fall, forget about me

come on let it go

just let it ne

why don't you be you and I'll be me"

We smiled at each other as we finished and I began to lean forward to kiss him when the door burst open and Ben came shouting. I jumped back quickly in surprise.

"Well if it isn't our two songbirds playing hookie," he exclaimed with a stressed look in his eyes. He nudged his head ever so slight behind him and Jasper and I leaned around to see both our bands there, staring intently at us.

I groaned internally. Alice looked like she was going to explode and I didn't like that they were trying to edge their way into Bella's bedroom. I knew Ben did it to stop us from doing anything incriminating but this was Bella's safe haven and I wanted to keep it that way. I looked over at Bella and she was just wide eyed. Like she didn't know what to do.

"What are you guys doing here?" I finally asked as I stood up and placed Bella's guitar on one of her stands.

"We invited ourselves over, of course," Emmett laughed.

I rolled my eyes and looked back at Bella who finally started to smile. She stood up and stepped in front of me. "Why don't we all go back into the living room area?"

Everyone turned out of her doorframe and I grabbed her hand quickly as she led me out but dropped it before anyone could see it.

"You guys were fucking amazing!" Alice exclaimed. "Emmett said you guys were good but not that good. Your voices were like made for each other."

"That was really great guys," Rose smiled.

"Thank you," Bella smiled. "It's our last project of the semester for Fields."

"And that required you guys to skip school today?" Emmett asked wiggling his eyebrows.

"What does it matter," I said crossing my arms across my chest angrily.

"I wasn't feeling well this morning," Bella lied. "And I texted Jasper that we could meet this afternoon to get the song done. So he came over. I just needed more sleep."

"Your guys' house is so cute!" Alice exclaimed. "I love all the paintings and photography."

"Thank you!" Annie smiled. "Daniel took the photos and I did the paintings."

Everyone spread out took look at all pictures around the house and I noticed the one closest to me had me in it. It was vague. If you didn't know you would assume it was just another tall blond, however I knew that the gang would recognize me or at least recognize me by my hat. I was thankful this picture was in a frame sitting on the table. I looked around making sure no one was looking at me and then I picked it up and held it behind my back. I retreated over to where Ben and Matt were standing and handed them the picture.

Ben looked at it and nodded before walking to the kitchen. "Does anyone want a drink?" he hollered as he stashed the photo in a cabinet.

After dodging that bullet we all congregated in the kitchen area.

"Well I guess that's it," Bella shrugged.

"Seriously, why are you guys here?" I asked.

"Whoa calm down there Jasper-poo," Emmett laughed.

I rolled my eyes and crossed my arms. "It's only fair that they've been to our place," Rose laughed. "Besides Ben semi-invited us after Emmett invited himself over."

"Well I'm glad you got to see our simple living compared to yours," Bella laughed.

"So are you guys ready for the battle tomorrow?" Emmett asked rubbing his hands together.

"More ready than you are," Daniel chuckled. "I'm pretty sure we have a more impressive fan base."

Emmett and Edward feigned hurt and the girls just laughed. "Oh you're on pretty boy."

"What are your plans for the rest of the day guys?" Alice asked, slightly jumping in place.

"We actually have plans tonight," Annie smiled and I took a glance at Bella, who bit her lip under my gaze.

"Oh okay," Alice nodded awkwardly.

"Bella can we tell them?" Ben asked and I watched Bella bounce on her toes uncomfortably.

"I have solo gig at a piano bar downtown," she said quietly.

"Since when are you so shy?" Rose smiled.

"She doesn't like solo performances," Ben chuckled. "But the owner heard her rehearsing by herself before a gig and they offered her a spot."

"Well we all need to go to hear you!" Alice exclaimed.

"No no!" Bella said quickly, shaking her head. "It's already bad enough at the I have to perform by myself."

"You'll do better with a fan base," Daniel said as he wrapped his arm around her shoulders.

I didn't know what to say. I wanted to say something but nothing came out. I couldn't comfort her because to the gang I didn't know her enough, and I was honestly kind of hurt that she didn't tell me. I wonder if she would've told me later. I looked at the ground before looking up at her again and she half smiled at me.

"What do you think Jazzy-poo?" Emmett asked.

"First off, please don't call me that. Second off, I think we should respect whatever decision Bella decides," I shrugged.

"Well whatever decision I make, I need to go get ready for it," Bella said. "So if you'll excuse me."

I watched her walk back into her bedroom and I wanted to race after her but I couldn't. I was stuck in place.

"Bella doesn't always realize how good she is," Daniel explained. "She typically needs someone with her for her to be fully confident."

"Do you think she would actually be upset if we came?" Rose asked.

"NO," Daniel shook his head. "She would probably feel more comfortable. She just doesn't realize it yet."

"Well we should probably just get going then," I said. "I need to grab my stuff from Bella's room."

I walked over and knocked on the door softly. She cracked it open and then smiled and let me in. She didn't close the door fully after me so I had to be careful what I said.

"I just came in to grab my things," I said bouncing on the balls of my feet.

"Oh yeah sure," she nodded. "Your notebook has all the writing in it, do you think you could bring me a copy tomorrow?"

I gave her a quizzical look, knowing that she wrote it all down in hers. "Yeah sure," I nodded.

"Okay great," she smiled. "Thanks for today Jasper. I'll see you later."

I nodded, "No thank you."

I looked behind my shoulder to make sure no one was snooping and gave her a quick kiss.

She smiled and gave me a push. I chuckled quietly and headed out the door.

I ushered the gang out the door against their wishes and Emmett turned to me when he was at the car. "You know, you need to learn to share. We can be friends with them too."

I balled my fist, "but there comes a point when you're too pushy. You don't know what I know."

Emmett gave me a weird look before I got into my truck. I watched gang pile into Emmett's Jeep and drive away before I followed suit. When we all got back to the house I parked in the garage and stayed there. I opened my notebook and found Bella's handwriting.

Jasper,

I promise I was going to tell you later. This wasn't something I was going to keep from you. I love you so much and it would make me feel so much better if you there with me. I don't care if your family is there or not. If you can learn these two songs by 6, then you can perform with me. And it would mean the world to me if you can. I love you so much. Even fi you can perform with me, I really need you there.

I love you,

Bella.

I stared at the folded sheet music and sighed. Of course she didn't give me any of the words. I went up to my room and turned on my keyboard. I plugged my headphones in so no one could hear me play and started practicing.

Thanks for reading, only three more chapters left until the end.

Song: Let it Go by James Bay (so beautiful if you haven't heard it-also Hailee Steindfeld's cover is pretty great too)
