Chapter 52
Rosalie's POV
"Neville, you found it!" Hermione exclaimed in amazement as the nine of them stood under the doorway of a wide, very open room. Apart from a couple of items spewed across the floor, the room was completely empty and completely perfect for a defence class to take place. But where are we?
"Why, what is it? Where are we?" Ron asked her curiously turning round to face her.
"It's the Room Of Requirement." Bella said answering him before Hermione had the chance to, dipping her toe further into the room, "I never thought I would ever actually see it."
"And the room of- what's that?" It seemed that only Hermione and Bella knew anything about said place.
"The Room Of Requirement, can only be found by someone who really wants and really needs it; it comes equipped for their very needs." She explained it like a passage from a book.
"So, a room that appears when someone is only in desperate need of one?" Jasper repeated slowly for confirmation and Alice nodded.
"I wonder if it could turn into a wardrobe…?"
"No, because I doubt you would ever really need it." Carlisle replied, "You have enough clothes."
"So say you really needed the toilet…" Ron chose for an example.
Hermione glanced at him. "Splendid Ronald, but yes, I suppose so."
"Well this is it then. This is the room we'll train in." Bella said grinning widely, her demeanour about the subject completely change to just a couple of days ago, "I suppose now all we have to do is come up with a name and a way to communicates with the others without Umbridge finding out."
"So if we're here, Umbridge can't come in?" Harry asked scaling over the entire four walls.
"No…well I don't think so." Hermione answered.
"This room is so strange." Luna whispered in a drifty voice.
"Well what if there is someone outside? We can't just appear from a random door in the wall." Ginny mentioned as they walked around.
Bella's face fell, "Well that may be a problem."
"Or maybe not." Ron pointed out, "Come look over here."
One of the portraits from the wall had opened up to reveal another passageway. One that went straight to the corridor.
"And over here." The two twins called from the other side of the room. They stood by an open cupboard which again had a passage which led right back to the school corridor.
"This is great. It's like Hogwarts wants us to fight back." Harry grinned, "Should we go find everyone or…?"
"I say one of us stay here and the rest of us, we go round everyone up. Bring them back here. Fred, George do you mind staying here? Make sure no one comes in."
"Sure." The twin on the left said smiling from ear to ear.
"If anyone comes will find a way to get rid of them." The other twin finished, also smiling.
They quickly discussed who would find who before all separating and running off to find everyone they needed to find. Bella returned a few moments later at the wall with five people at her side.
"So what are we doing here?" One of the boys asked. He had tanned skin and hair shaved to the scalp.
"Quiet." Bella hushed at him, "Make sure no one's coming." Bella stood where the door had been before. A look of deep concentration on her face.
"What is she-" One of the kids asked as she stood there but stopped once a door appeared on the wall.
"Quickly! In." Bella gestured towards the room and all five hurried in.
Luna, Ginny, Ron, Hermione and Harry were already there when she returned, the rest of their group tagging along behind.
"This is the Room ff Requirement and… well the memo is that this room is only open for us but only if we really need it. This room is going to be where we train." Bella explained for the handfuls of confused faces.
"But how are we going to know when to come here without Umbridge finding out? That woman has ears everywhere." A girl from the crowd of people asked.
Bella looked over at Hermione, "Well Hermione said she is going to see if she can think of anything. H'mione, you got anything?"
"Well I do have one thing in mind," She brushed down her skirt as she stood up, "I remember; I read it in one of the old history of magical spells and enchantments that I found in the library. Basically, you can enchant any everyday object so that the date and time will appear on it. When it does change it heats up as a warning."
"Great." Harry smiled.
"Well what about the name?" Luna asked from Harry's left side. There was a wild fire of suggestions along the line.
"Dark arts army?"
"Wait!" Bella called, "I like it, D.A for short."
"D.A. It could also stand for Dumbledore's army?" There were a few mummers of agreement and some nodding of heads at Harry's stance.
"Well Dumbledore's army it is then. Now, when we get the enchantments done we'll find you and you'll know when the first meeting is."
"And it would be best if you arrive here in groups so we don't have the door opening and closing all the time." Harry explained, expanding on Bella's point.
The scene changed again so that we were now in what looked like a changing rooms. There were two girls stood on the outskirts of the room as well as Bella and Hermione also. Hermione was sat on the bench with a book in her hands and Bella was wearing her red and gold Quidditch robes tying her hair up in the mirror.
"Yes Quidditch! I love Quidditch!" Emmett said excitedly, punching his fist in the air.
"Are you nervous?" Hermione asked.
"Well, sort of. If we win todays match then we get to play against the Ravenclaws in the final. Never mind that the Slytherins could very well be up to something, you know how they can be. But we have Harry and he's a far better seeker than Draco, we all know that if his Dad wasn't paying them off he wouldn't even be allowed on the pitch." She spoke, "Ready?" They headed out together onto the pitch before Hermione departed into the stands.
"Are you guys ready?" The girl in the middle asked. Angelina Johnson I think it was; the new team captain after Wood left, "Now remember, the Slytherins are sneaky and are going to try and pull a few on us so stay away from them. Harry, make sure you only catch the Snitch if it lets us win yet at the same time DO NOT let Malfoy get it. Got it?"
The team nodded.
"Great, let's get going then."
Standing on their side of the pitch opposed the Slytherins crowded of their, what I assume, game faces, only much uglier. The only one I could recognize was Malfoy.
The whistle went off and everyone kicked into the air signalling the start of the game. It was close, only ten points separating the fifty to forty in favour of the Gryffindor's before Harry caught the Snitch. Their victory sent their houses stand into chaos, and even most of the Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws cheered in their favour.
Bella cheered making her victory high fives around each member of the victorious team, of course stopping to hug her brother.
"We did it!" Angelina screamed.
Of course the Slytherins didn't take their defeat well; neither the ones in the stands or those on the pitch. There were some boo's, shouts of complaints. A general annoyance.
"Hey Potter." Draco sneered, marching towards Harry, "Nice game." Despite the calling of a compliment, his tone suggested otherwise.
"It was, you're right." Harry's tone was practically dripping with sarcasm, "I wish I could say the same to you Malfoy." He spat back.
"And what's that supposed to mean?"
"Oh come on Draco, we all know that the only reason you're on the team in the first place is because your daddy pays them back with brooms and new equipment; not because your any good. Have you ever actually caught the Snitch?" Bella snarled backing up her brother. Fred and George laughed at Bella snide remark.
"Laughing are you Weasley's? Well at least my family can afford new things unlike yours. I mean, don't your family share the one bedroom?"
"That's cold." Alice barked.
"Good for nothing spoilt ferret," Remarked Emmett, "I know that he was technically evil and not him but, remember Mad-eye turning him into a ferret? That was good."
Both twins were furious as they moved towards him. As he realized what was happening, he cowered off into the corner and whimpered. "Crabbe, Goyle!" Draco whined as they instantly appeared at his side from their seats. What were they? His bodyguards? You would think by the way they acted.
"Can Draco not defend himself without his little sidekicks." George said imitating his voice.
"Shut up!" Draco coughed trying to hide the red in his cheeks as Crabbe complained,
"Were not his sidekicks." He puffed out his chest trying desperately to make his point. It was kind of sad that neither of them noticed it, of course, if they weren't both terrible people aligned with an equally worse person.
"Yeah," Fred scoffed, "Of course you're not."
Draco hit back, this was soon escalating into a full on fight. "Look, the poor Weasley's and the family-less Potter's. Is it true that your entire family hate you? So much so that they shipped one of you to another continent. I bet they just wished they could get rid of the other one." Draco laughed straightening up from crouched his position in the corner. That was the last straw before the four of them lunged forwards. Harry and Fred made it to Draco; George got pulled off by Goyle and Bella was tore off Draco's arm by Crabbe.
"What is going on here?!" Umbridge screamed.
Arriving onto the pitch cloaked up in pink, George and Goyle were rolling around on the floor throwing punches at one another. George and Harry were taking turns trying to beat the shit out of Draco, whilst Bella, was kicking and punching Crabbe against his grip.
"Get off of them. Right now!" Umbridge squealed again sounding like a kitten in pain, her face scowled like a babies. The four stopped in their tracks whilst the three slime balls had the audacity to cry out in pain; real or fake, most probably the latter, it sounded like they were being stomped over. "My Office! Right now!"
The click of her heels lead them to her familiar pink covered office. Umbridge went to sit on her seat of authority behind her desk whilst the four stood at the back of the room, a look of annoyance on all of their faces.
"Never, in all of my time have I ever witnesses such a horrible encounter! What on earth did they ever do to you?" Umbridge yelled I bewilderment.
"He insulted us." Harry snarled.
"Our families-" Fred said.
"Called us poor and made fun out our parents." George finished.
"And so you punched him, and his innocent friends."
Bella scoffed, "They're about as innocent as Draco is."
"That is beside the point Ms. Potter; you broke educational degree number 13. 'No fighting or harming other students.' And so with that in mind, there is only one other thing I can do in this situation. All of you are banned from the Quidditch team." She smirked to herself.
"What!" They all yelled.
"You can't do that! We have the finals next week!" Bella yelped in protested.
"I'm sorry, but you broke the rules and you need to be punished." She looked anything but.
"Why are they getting punished but Malfoy isn't? He's the one who started all this." Emmett growled as he scrunched up his fists.
"Because Umbridge is evil and evil supports evil." Edward said, growling also.
Before anything else could happen, Bella stormed out the rom in a fiery rage. Harry glared at Umbridge before following his sister out, however George and Fred stayed for a moment longer. "Why aren't you punishing Draco and his little followers? They were the ones provoking us."
Umbridge turned to look away as her lips twitched into a tiny smile. Even her eyes seemed to be glistening with pride and happiness.
If only I could get my hands on her…
Racing down the corridor towards the Gryffindor common room was Bella; there weren't many students wandering the corridors (most I assume were still on the Quidditch pitch) but the ones that were, Bella pushed into without a second thought.
"Password." The fat lady on the portrait asked as Bella stormed towards it, a look of fear grew upon her face as she glanced at the fiery rage that burnt in Bella's eyes.
"Tapeworm." Bella growled and with that, the doors swung open revealing the Gryffindor common room which was currently empty.
Tapeworm? Who names these things?
Bella screamed, grabbing a pillow from a nearby chair and chucking it across the room. Then she climbed the stairs towards her door; picking up another pillow and throwing it into the wall. There was a mirror that hung on the wall between her bed and Hermione's, which she wandered over to and stood in front. Staring back at her ghostly white reflection with her distant eyes. Her head moved around her neck in a snake like way before snapping it back and turning around, everything felt disjointed.
"What was that about?" Alice asked. The question that was on all of our minds.
