The next day after school:

Emma and Bay walked down the sidewalk. Emma had to admit she liked the "freedom" her mommy was giving her. If it was her week to be at Regina's she would have had to do her school work first, then magic lessons…Magic lessons, she was supposed to meet her Mom Regina at the apartment for her lesson today. Oh well, that would have to wait.

"Bay, are we going to the park….again?" Emma asked once she noticed where they were heading.

"What else would you like to do Emma?" Bay asked.

"I don't know…everything in Storybrooke is so boring, and always the same. We need to do something else, something fun" Emma sighed.

"Hmmmm….Oh, I know!" Bay said excitedly. "Emma, last night I was listening to my dad and Belle talking, and they was talking about a dragon"

Emma stopped walking. "A dragon…like a real life dragon?" Emma had never seen a dragon before, obviously. She was supposed to see a mermaid but didn't get the chance. It wasn't fair that everyone else in Storybrooke had seen all these amazing things and she hadn't.

"Yeah!" Bay answered.

"We have to go and see the dragon!" Emma stated as she looked around, making sure that that no one was listening. If anyone heard what she was up to, they would tell her parents. "Where is it?"

"Apparently, it's under the library where Belle works" Bay informed Emma. "I heard my Papa telling Belle that she was safe and that the dragon was underground, and wouldn't come out, so there was no chance of it getting out"

"Wow…this whole time, the dragon has been here. Who would have thought?" Emma asked herself, she looked back up at Bay. "How do we get under the library?"

Bay thought for a moment, he honestly had no idea, but he had to think of something, he didn't want to let Emma down. After about a minute of thought, he had something. "The elevator Emma"

Emma shook her head. "It's out of order. Before the curse broke here, my mom said that the elevator was broken, that's why it was sealed up"

"I bet that's not true. They just say that so that no one would go down there" Bay thought out loud.

"That makes sense. Come on, let's go" Emma grabbed Bay by hishand, and raced off to the library.

"Hi Bay, hi Emma" Belle greeted with a smile. The bell above the door signaling a visitor.

"Hi Belle" Both kids replied with a smile.

"What are the two of you up to today?" Belle asked.

"Um…" Bay started. Emma rolled her eyes. Bay was going to get them busted before they were even able to do anything.

"We are just looking for some adventure books" Emma lied. She smiled.

"Oh, okay. Well, have fun you two" Belle stated as she went back to sorting out some books. When her attention was elsewhere Emma and Bay quickly took off to the back of the library and out of the view of Belle.

Emma and Bay got to the elevator door and Emma immediately pressed the down button. This was going to be easier than she thought. The elevator chimed and opened. Emma and Bay gasped at what they saw.

"Bay" Emma called out.

"I see" Bay answered. There was no floor to the elevator, the two looked down, it was extremely dark down in there. "I don't see anything down there" Bay sighed in defeat.

"One of us needs to climb down there" Emma noted. She focused and used her magic to conjure up two walkie talkies. She handed one to Bay, and tucked the other on the back of her pants. "I'm going to climb down there, I will use the wires. You stay here, and keep watch, I'll call you if anything goes wrong or if I find anything" Emma added.

Bay nodded. "Just be careful Emma"

Emma nodded, but before she could step closer to the elevator the door closed in front of her. Emma and Bay turned around, and there stood Gold. "You know, Curiosity killed the cat dearies" Gold stated.
