A/N: Nothing like writing a "story" while watching some Spongebob. And a large influx of new followers has really driven me to create quality chapters for you guys! I think one of the new followers has also written a pretty big smash story, and I think that that's just awesome! Honestly, when I first started writing this laid-back story, I didn't think I'd get this far.

Soon I'll write a story seriously (yknow, like an actual novel) so be on the lookout for that.

To be honest, "soon" might mean a "in a couple months or a year," but it for sure does not mean "never"!

And Zelda Wii U looks amazing! I didn't actually watch a large amount of gameplay, because I wanna save the moment for when I personally get to play it for the first time. I only saw what was on snapchat, but let me tell you… It's looking to be my version of Ocarina of time, seeing as I didn't get to play it when it was released! Like Nintendo Skyrim!

To the chapter!

Chapter 51: Smashin' A Heart 3

"And here is where you'll be staying." Link said, pointing to a towering house with marble pillars. "Along with Palutena, Pit, and Dark Pit."

"Nice, I'm gonna go meet them now." Corrina said.

"Cool." Link said. He was still suspicious of Corrina, and wanted to leave as soon as possible. They walked up to the door and pulled on a rope hanging from the ceiling of the porch that read "doorbell". The booming of church bells could be heard, and Link quickly realized that they were playing the main theme of Kid Icarus.

For the next minute, they waited.

Corrina tried to reassure an annoyed Link. "They'll probably answer eventually."

Another minute passed, and still nobody answered the door.

"They're probably all outside right now." Link said.

"Oh…" Corrina said. "That sucks…"

Link looked at the door questioningly and sighed. "Palutena's gonna kill me for this…" He pulled out a lockpick from his hero pouch and tried the door.

"Wow, you know how to pickpocket?" Corrina gasped. "I don't remember this when I played your games!"

"Yeah, I learned from an adventurer." Link smiled. "Well, he used to be an adventurer like me before he took an… wait, you play my games?"

Corrina gasped. "Uh… Well, yeah." She blushed. "I tried to hide it ever since I first came here, but I guess I can't anymore."

Her eyes started to shine and she smiled idiotically, "I'm one of your biggest fans! I've heard of your stories since forever back home, and on the train ride, I played all of your games!"

Link couldn't help but feel flattered. "All of my games? Even 'those' ones?"

Corrina nodded. "Yeah! Sure, they were terrible games, but I didn't mind."

"Wow… So, I guess you already know a lot about me." Link said, glancing at the almost-stranger as he busted the lock. "And we're in. Your room should have your name engraved on it."

"Not bad!" Corrina said. "And yeah, I guess you could say I know some stuff about you," she smiled, "Not to be creepy or anything."

Hmm… All the more likely that she's planning my demise. I better find more about this... "Corrina" Link thought to himself.

"Well, I guess this is where we say goodbye." Corrina said, trying, and failing, to conceal her sadness. She stepped inside and was about to close the door when Link stopped her with a wave of his hand.

"Hold on."

Corrina looked back at him, her body halfway into the house. "What is it?"

"I'd like to help you get unpacked." Link said with a straight face.

"Oh, well, sure, I could use the company." Corrina opened the door fully. "Thanks."

"Don't mention it." Link walked in and the two started walked towards Corrina's room, side by side.

Corrina couldn't help but smile to herself. "Wow! Some alone time with the freakin' Hero Of Time! This is so exciting!"

Meanwhile, Link was also smiling at himself. "This time, I'll be ready. Corrina, you better not be an agent of the Swarm, because if you are, I'm gonna find out."

Meanwhile…

Phosphora sat outside the cave in a nearby rock, moping. I mean, despite her Infatuation Curse, Pit seemed to genuinely like Bayonetta.

She reflected on her words to Pit: "Bayonetta's alluring personality and witchy-ness makes all males who are in a relationship be drawn to her!"

"Ah man, I messed up bad." Phosphora said. "Pit's not in a relationship! Me of all people should've known that!"

"Ah, it's just not fair!" She said. "Pit is in there right now, alone with Bayonetta, fawning over her, and she's hasn't even been here a day! If he truly likes her, I don't think it'd be right to infringe on his affairs… It would be rude."

She sat in silence for a bit, reflecting on her rules, and then started chuckled softly. "Heh, look at me. I'm actually turning into a… good person. How pathetic of me!"

"Well, Angels tend to turn people to the light side." Came a voice from behind her.

Phosphora turned around. "Uhh… I'm sorry, but who are you? And what are you doing here, eavesdropping on my conversation?"

"Well, it's hardly a conversation when you're the only one talking. The name's Lucina. I'm a smasher."

Phosphora nodded. "Oh, now I remember! You're that chick who hangs out with the LoZ guys."

"Yeah, I bunk with them." Lucina sat down on the rock next to Phosphora. "Listen, I heard about your troubles, and I've been doing some research. Turns out that Bayonetta isn't just a regular witch, but an Umbra Witch."

"Well, how'd you figure that out?"

"Wikipedia is a strong tool, my friend."

"Ok… but so what?"

"Well, it turns out that the infatuation curse that some witches have on men in relationships are magnified or altered depending on what type of witch the person is.

"Ok… what?"

"Since she is an Umbra Witch, Angels are especially susceptible to her infatuation curse. Here, I heard it in this book." Lucina handed Phosphora a book labeled "Random Facts the Author of this Fanfiction Created for the Sake of Plot".

"So what you're saying is that even though Pit is not in a relationship, he may still be under her spell?"

Lucina nodded.

Phosphora couldn't help but smile. "That means I may still have a chance! Thanks!"

"Don't thank me. Palutena was the one to ask me to look deeper into the Infatuation Curse."

Phosphora beamed. "Palutena, huh? She's not as not-awesome as I thought she was."

Lucina looked at her. "Yknow, you're acting really out of character."

Phosphora looked at her quizzically. "What do you mean?"

"Well, when I played Kid Icarus Uprising, you just seemed to toy with Pit, and showed no signs of actually wanting a real relationship with him."

Phosphora smiled. "He's really grown on me. I guess I just like nice guys. And besides… A lot can happen outside of the video games."

Meanwhile...

"So… You had to choose between the family that raised you and your true family?" Link asked. "Sounds tough."

"Yeah." Corrina said, taking out a picture of her and her family. "I ultimately chose the people who raised me. It was a tough choice, but I don't regret it. Here they are." She handed him a smooth dark mahogany frame with a painting of her and her siblings on it. "The Nohr Family" was inscribed at the top.

"Wow, you guys aren't so bad looking." Link said. He compared the Corrina in the painting to the one standing in front of him, and he realized that this was the first time he actually really looked at her. And she was quite the looker. Ayyyyy

"Hey, you're not so bad yourself." Corrina said, taking out her clothes. "Oh, uh… I never said that. Hey, can you empty that other bag while I get my clothes into the closet?"

"Sure." Link opened the bag, which was filled with her material possessions. Among them was a collection of gaming consoles, many different books, a photo album, and, most interestingly, a diary.

"Hmm… Any secrets she may be hiding must be in here." Link was very tempted to open the diary right now, but with her around, that would be impossible. "I can wait. Swarm or not, she's great company…"

"Uh, Link?" Corrina said. "Why are you staring at me?"

Link quickly looked away. "Oh, nothing." He continued taking out her stuff.

After a few minutes of silently sneaking peeks at each other, a thought crossed Link's mind. "So… There's a boy version of you, right? The other guy on the train?"

Corrina sighed. "Yeah."

"So, if there's two factions to choose from, does that mean that he chose his blood family?"

"Yeah, he did. As you can guess, that caused the train ride to be really awkward. Bayonetta being with us didn't help." She chuckled hollowly. "I mean, I know where he's coming from, but I just don't see how one can betray the people who cared for you and loved you just because the other side happens to share the same genes as you. I still respect his decision, but I don't agree with him, and I don't see me and him getting along, even if we are technically the same person."

"Yeah, I feel you." Link said. "I mean, I come from a totally different timeline than Toon Link. Took Link has a nice grandma and sister, while I don't have any blood-family. I wasn't alone though, since my family became friends close to me. Ilia, Beth, Talo, Colin, Midna, and even Epona. I wasn't born with a family, so I made my own."

Corrina looked taken aback by Link's sudden monologue. "Wow, Link… You're way more expressive outside of your games."

Link smirked. "Sorry. Did I ruin the image you had of me?"

Corrina looked into his eyes. "Far from it. You're the first person who I've ever confided all of this to."

"Hey, we gotta look out for each other. You and me…" He stood up. "Me and you."

He smiled at her, and she smiled back. They started drifting closer, but didn't get very far before Corrina's stomach growled. Loudly.

Link stepped back, embarrassed. "Um… I'm so sorry, Corrina. I don't know what happened."

Corrina was quite embarrassed as well. After all, it was her stomach that growled. "It's fine. I'm just a bit hungry."

Link nodded slowly. "Hey, you wanna go out to a restaurant? To get something to eat? It's almost eight, and it sounds like neither of us has had dinner yet, and I know the perfect place. I know you still have to pack but-"

"Oh, packing can wait." Corrina said, smiling. "Just let me go get ready." She reached into her bag, pulled out a fancy medieval dress, and walked out of her room and towards the dressing room.

With Corrina gone, Link looked at the diary again and picked it up. It was a simple, leather-bound book with brown pages. Corrina's name was written in beautiful calligraphy across the center of the book. There was no lock.

Link flipped it over in his hand a few times. Then, with a small smile on his face, he put it down without opening it and washed up for his meal with Corrina.

A/N: So, I had to go back to the other Smashin' A Heart Chapters to refresh my memory, and the amount of typos made me cry. Typos take away from the meaning of a story and only portray me as bad. That's what you get for writing a story quickly and on an iPhone. So I've set a goal for myself: proofread my whole story, including what I've already written. I know, I should've done this from the start, and I'm sorry about that, but I learned my lesson, and am ready to be a decent author. Any typos you guys may catch and report would also be appreciated!

Thanks everyone!

Until next chapter!
