Thank you all for the kind reviews! It means so much! :) Before you read any of this - my thoughts are stars I can't fathom into constellations.

Also: I don't mean to worry any of you…but I just read an interview with Christopher Gorham where he said he might be over Annie. I cried. I'm serious. But! We still have hope! WALKERSON OR WE RIOT. I believe Hayley/Natasha can really fit in this show, I do…just not with Auggie. And maybe the entire cast and crew are just pulling our legs to get a reaction…and I'm hoping that's all it is. As a writer, and I'm sure the rest of you feel like this as well at points, I'm always paying attention to the storyline of TV shows and books and I always say "I would have wrote it like this" or "HOW COULD YOU DO THAT. THE PEOPLE DON'T WANT THAT!" It's our blessing and curse as writers…but! We shall hold hope…they will live on!

Ps. These author's notes are slowly turning into my own little diary. Sorry about that. XD

BUT! (This chapter is taking me a couple days that's why these notes are so spastic) I have another crazy idea. This is not the one I mentioned before. But I need your opinion. After this story is done, I can either do 100 Things I Know About Auggie first, or an extension of the Anderson family living with those two additions that are coming ;), or I can introduce you all to a new idea I have that will stray a bit from this storyline as it begins when Annie and Auggie are still dating and things will play out a little different. As a little sneak peek into that one, it involves Auggie's time in Iraq and the explosion. It's also already named…Jack of All Trades. (Think about it. ;) ) Or another idea, AFTER I WATCHED THE LAST EPISODE. I MEAN….WHAT. I can do something around Natasha, Hayley, Auggie, and Annie…which spins into something incredible. At least it seems so in my head. (There would be appearances from: Danielle Brooks, Ben Mercer, etc.) So! In your next review, if you do review which I hope you do, leave your response on which one you'd like me to do first! I will do all four…which may take me a couple years but I will do them…but I want to please you wonderful writers/readers who are following me.

If you'd like 100 Things I Know About Auggie next - respond 1 and a short explanation. (I can either do all new prompts and follow the same story line or use the same exact prompts and just tweak them to write them in Annie's POV, if you have a preference it'd be wonderful if you could voice your opinion. :) )

If you'd like the extension of this story (100 Things I Know About Annie, it would go on with Auggie, Annie, and the twins) next - respond 2 and a short explanation.

If you'd like the new story that derives from this story line a bit (Jack of All Trades, which deals with Annie and Auggie while they are DATING, but after the whole Natasha & Hayley thing)- respond 3 and a short explanation.

If you'd like the new story revolving around Natasha, Hayley, Auggie, Annie…etc. (Which happens pretty much during THIS TIME of the series and would explain the fallout)- respond 4 and a short explanation.

Pretty much if this was going to be a series, prompt 4 would happen before prompt 3. 1 & 2 are pretty separate. :)

I'm having trouble deciding and I thought I'd extend it out to all of you. :) Please don't feel like you have to vote, I just need some help deciding. :) Thank you!

She loves to slow dance...and drive me crazy at the same time.

It finally felt like I could breathe. I dutifully followed Annie, hand in hand, as she guided me through the throng of people. Her dress casually wrapped itself around my legs as the crowd parted for us like the red sea. There were interruptions with congratulations and commentary on how beautiful the ceremony was.

Truthfully, I didn't hear many of them. I was too busy clutching onto Annie's hand.

The sun hit my face again as we finally made it outside where people were already piling into cars.

"Ready to party?" Annie giggled.

"Absolutely." I grinned, wrapping an arm around her waist.

"Your bridal carriage awaits." Barber dramatized, coming to stand in front of us.

"Barber…what is that?" Annie gasped.

"What?" I asked.

"Barber and I thought it'd be cute!" Danielle stated.

"You're serious?"

"You don't like it?" Danielle's voice was a bit scared now. Annie just laughed.

"I love it! I just wasn't expecting it!"

As the three of them laughed, I just stood there looking awkwardly at them.

"Okay…I'm lost. What is going on."

Annie giggled once more. "Just stay close to me, Auggie. There's horses."

I'm sure my eyebrows shot up into my hairline. "Horses?"

"A horse and buggy, your majesty." Barber joked.

"They are really pretty…" Annie sighed as I heard the creak of a wooden door opening. Finding the door, I held my hand out of Annie.

"Ladies first."

"Why thank you." She grabbed my hand and I held her tight as she stepped up the stairs carefully. The moment she was in the horses bucked, causing me to flinch a little.

"What? Don't like horses, Aug?" Stu laughed.

"I don't like large animals that I can't see and could easily kill me." I deadpanned.

"Oh, come on, go join your wife."

His last word made me smile as I hopped into the buggy next to Annie.

"You okay?" She whispered.

"Yeah."

"You're shaking."

"I'm fine."

She was silent for a minute. "You don't like horses, do you?"

Her question was said more like a statement, but I just grinned at her.

"They've never been my favorite animal. Ever since I was a kid."

"Did you have a bad experience?" She asked as the was a bit of a shuffle around the buggy and someone lifted themselves into the driver's seat.

"Don't worry, Aug. I'll get you there in one piece." Aaron laughed. "This kid has been afraid of horses ever since we were little."

"I have not been afraid." I shot back, but the smile didn't leave my face.

"Ever since that horse sprayed him with mud…"

"I was five! It covered me head to toe!"

Annie just laughed beside me. "You're scared of horses because one sprayed you with mud?"

"It was an evil horse…it never liked me. It belonged to our neighbors." I spat. I felt a soft pressure as Annie laid her head against my shoulder and I was suddenly reminded of the night we spent on an airplane heading home.

"It's okay…I'll protect you from the big bad horses."

"I know you will."

The ride went fairly smooth, with me only grabbing on to Annie's arm once or twice. Our reception was being held at a nearby hotel that had graciously handed us two of their ballrooms that they could put together. Everything was already set up, from the DJ to the tables, and as soon as the buggy stopped I hopped down and extended my arms to Annie.

"Why thank you, kind sir," she giggled.

"Anything for you, my lady," I whispered gruffly. I couldn't wait any longer for her to reach down and grab my hand so I gingerly wrapped my arms around her legs and pulled her down to me.

"Auggie!" She let out a little scream of surprise as I carried her bridal style toward the hotel doors.

"You were taking too long," I muttered into her neck.

"You are so impatient."

"When it comes to you? Yes."

"Everything should be ready for you, Mr. and Mrs. Anderson. I hope the wedding went well?" The concierge greeted us. I grinned at him as Annie tried to wiggle free.

"It was perfect. Thank you."

He laughed. "Of course, sir. Right this way."

He led us through a maze of hallways, Annie still struggling while our wedding party and some guests followed behind. The crowd was growing larger behind us while more and more people were ushered in. Finally, he opened the grand doors to the ballrooms and Annie stopped fidgeting.

"Oh, Auggie…it's perfect."

"Really?"

"Yes." I let her down then, but she kept a tight grip on my hand again. "Come on, the head table is over here."

She pulled me to the left and around randomly placed circular tables. There was a small stair leading up to the table and I let Annie plop me in a spot.

"There's blue and white everywhere. And there are plenty of tables, just like we asked for. The cakes look wonderful, the DJ looks ready to go, the dance floor is huge…"

She trailed with a soft sigh.

"Annie?"

She didn't answer right away. Instead, I could feel her gaze on me. Her hand squeezed mine gently as I rubbed her bare back with my other hand. "I can't believe we're finally here."

I was taken aback by the shakiness of her voice. "Annie…" I murmured, reaching up to cup her face. A few stray tears made their way down her face, slipping off her chin to slightly stain her dress.

"I mean…we've been through so much, and now we're finally here."

"I know. And trust me, Annie, there's no where I'd rather be than here right now."

A beat. "How did I get so lucky as to finally have you? I was so cruel to you and your heart, during all those bad times. When I went dark and after…"

"Annie. I was the stupid one. I never should have let go of you."

"Why?"

"Because I let go of my heart when I did and it was a hell of a time putting it back into my chest."

I felt her smile underneath my hand. She tilted her head a bit and I wondered what she was looking at. Turns out, I didn't have to wonder long.

"I'm glad Hayley and Natasha could come. And Ben."

"Me too." I smiled.

The fallout between Hayley, Natasha, Annie, and I had been…an interesting one to say the least. One that Annie and I never really talked about. It was a scary time for Annie…and a time that almost ripped out my heart and burned it forever.

"Everyone's filling in. I suppose we should go talk to other people, huh?"

"What, I can't just sit here and talk to you?"

"Unfortunately not." She giggled.

"Damn."

She stood suddenly, my hand falling from her warm face. "Come on, Auggie. Your mom is waving us down."

"Wonderful."

I usually prided myself on remembering people's names from their voices and the conversations I had with them. But as I made my way through the ever growing crowd, I realized that as I moved on to the next conversation, I couldn't remember the one I'd just had or who I'd had it with. It felt like I had talked for hours until finally a hand caught my elbow.

"Alright, romeo. Food time." Barber's voice fluttered through the constant conversation.

"Thank God," I muttered, following him back to the head table. Danielle was already tapping on her glass while I re-took my place next to Annie.

"Alright, everyone! If you'd please find your seats, we're going to get ready for the maid of honor and best man's speeches…and the food!"

Everyone applauded as the smell of my favorite dish filled my nostrils.

"Ah, Alfredo."

"The best for you, babe," Annie laughed.

"And your favorite?" I asked, nuzzling her ear as the food was passed around the ballroom.

"The salmon," she whispered as a plate that smelled strongly of fish was put in front of her. I stuck out my tongue a little. "What is it with you and not eating fish?"

"They wiggle."

"They're dead."

"They still wiggle."

She laughed again as a glass tinkered and Danielle's voice filled the air.

"First off, I'd like to say thank you who came out today to make my little sister's day a lovely one. And while I never like to make her cry…or myself cry…it's time to make my maid of honor speech. For those of you who don't know me, I'm Danielle Brooks, older sister of the bride."

Annie subconsciously squeezed my hand and took a deep breath so I quickly rubbed my thumb over the back of her hand to calm her.

"Annie. Ever since we were kids I knew you were going to do great things. I knew that you had that certain spark in you that no one else seemed to notice. I knew that my baby sister was going to do great things. And as we grew up, you kept proving me right again and again and I couldn't have been more proud. Yes, we have had our disagreements and scares…but all in all, you have been an incredible sister, a wonderful aunt, and I know you will be a faithful and loving wife to the man sitting next to you. You have taught me so much and I couldn't thank you enough for that. You have taught me to believe in myself when no one else would and to live in the moment because sometimes…you may not get any more moments. I am so happy for you."

Annie sniffled and it took everything I had not to throw my arms around her. I focused solely on her until Danielle's voice broke through my mind.

"Auggie. I will never forget the first time Annie talked about you. Her eyes shone and her voice took on this whole new tone the first time she said "I met this guy at work…". I knew from that moment that I couldn't wait to meet the man who had someone stolen my sister's heart. And when I did meet you? I was blown away by how incredible you were. At…how caring and gentle you were with her and I could see how much you loved her, even if you didn't see it yet. And as the years went by…and things happened…I knew you never stopped loving her. I believed that you never stopped loving her and that Annie never stopped loving you. You are so good to my sister and that is all I could ever ask for. Thank you for being there for her. Thank you for loving her and caring for her. Thank you for telling her she's beautiful and thank you for holding her when she cries. Thank you. And I'm so happy to finally say - welcome to the family, Mr. Anderson. To Annie and Auggie!"

Using a shaking hand, I raised my glass in the air with the rest of the ballroom and clinked it with Annie's before taking a quick sip. Annie was quickly on her feet and hugging her sister tightly before I had even set my glass back on the counter. Standing as the applause kept going, Danielle found her way into my arms as I held them outstretched.

"Thank you, Danielle," I murmured.

"I love you, Auggie. You know, in a sister to brother kind of way. Take care of my Annie."

Laughing, I pulled away. "You know I will."

I sat back down quickly, not trusting my legs at the moment as Barber stood next to me, clearing his throat quickly.

"Well, how do I top that?"

The room laughed and I could immediately feel him relax. I grinned at him, hoping he saw.

"If you don't know me, my name is Eric Barber, friend of the groom - "

"Best friend." I interrupted. I could feel his gaze on me as some people in the crowd "awwed".

"Okay…best friend of the groom," he whispered, but I could hear the smile in his voice. "I've known Auggie…for a long time. He started out as my boss, and he still is, but we've turned into something much more. He's taught me literally everything useful I know and he's still teaching me. He's become my mentor, my protector…and my best friend. You've done so much for me Auggie, and I don't think you even realize it. Growing up…I didn't have many friends. It was usually just me hanging out with my computer in the library during lunch and sitting by myself at a picnic table during recess. Then when I met you and you…you let me be me…it was a breath of fresh air. You pushed me to be the best that I could be and not settle for anything less than perfect. You taught me to believe in myself. And I know I wouldn't be the man I am today if it wasn't for you."

I wasn't one for crying in public. I really wasn't. But as the words flowed from Barber's mouth, the hot tears betrayed me and slid down my face, blotching my cheeks.

"Now, not much happened in our little offices. Until one day…when Auggie walked through the doors with a big smile plastered on his face. When I asked why, he said that someone new was coming to work. And then, I finally met the source of his smiles. The wonderfully brilliant Annie Walker. I had never seen my boss have such a spring in his step or that certain light in his eyes. And after meeting Annie…I knew why. Annie, you were such a wonderful surprise. Your fierceness, the way you cared, the way you'd bring all the tech op boys some sandwiches…"

Annie laughed, and my mega watt grin graced my face.

"What I'm saying is…you were so good to Auggie and you still are. You pulled him out of the dark and I couldn't be more grateful for that. And you've become a great friend to me, and you've done so much for me. You are such an incredible woman, Annie, and you compliment our Auggie so nicely. So, from the army of the techies, we gladly hand over our supreme leader to you in exchange that you still bring his henchmen some sandwiches."

He waited a bit as the laughed died down. I had never really noticed how good Barber was with crowds before this point. He must have lifted his glass because I heard the tinkering of glasses moving so I quickly grabbed mine.

"To Annie and Auggie - the couple who never stopped loving."

My throat swelled up to the size of a balloon and I couldn't even take a sip of the champagne in the delicate glass that sat in my hand. Instead, I placed it back on the counter, stood, and engulfed Barber in the largest bear hug possible.

"Th - thank you, Eric." I muttered. He chuckled.

"That's your brother's name."

"It's also your name. But…I guess people could call you by your title…"

"My title?"

"How about…my second in command?"

He pulled away slightly. "Re - really?"

"You heard me Barber…if I'm ever away, the offices are yours. I'll tell Joan I said so. Although, she pretty much always went to you anyway."

There was a slight pause, but he didn't let go of my arms. "Thank you, Auggie."

"No, Barber. Thank you."

He hugged me again until I felt Annie tapping me on the back.

"Um, I'd like to hug my big bear now."

"Come here, Mrs. Anderson!" Barber exclaimed. I allowed Annie past me as she flew into Barber's arms, squeezing tightly. As she hugged him, I raised my glass to the crowd again.

"And now…we eat!"

The clinking of forks and plates mixed well with the conversation that filled the room during dinner. There were plenty of pictures still being taken as Annie forced a bit of salmon down my throat and I fed her a bit of Alfredo. As was tradition, plenty of people tapped their glass and I wasted no time in grabbing Annie and planting my lips on hers reveling in the feeling. The cake cutting went smoothly with my large hand covering Annie's as the knife slid easily through the marble cake. Somehow, we made it through the entire dinner without spilling something on anyone's tux or - God forbid - Annie's dress. Before I knew it, Barber was poking my arm.

"Ready for the first dance?"

I gulped. "I guess."

Barber muttered something to someone and soon after the DJ's voice filled the room. "Alright, everyone. With our belly's full I think it's time for a certain couple to have their first dance as husband and wife. Why don't we have Mr. and Mrs. Anderson take the floor as I put on the song chosen by the groom."

"I hope you picked a good one, Auggie," Annie breathed as I led her down to the floor.

"I did." I grinned at her, pulling her tightly to me as I heard her heels click against the tile. The soft guitar suddenly filled the room and I felt Annie stiffen.

"No way."

"Yes way."

I pulled her so close that my mouth was right next to her ear and I started singing along.

"I don't know you, but I want you, all the more for that."

"The words fall through me, and always fooled me, and I can't react."

"And games that never amount to more than their meant, will play themselves out."

Suddenly, Annie's voice joined me.

"Take this sinking boat, and point it home, we've still got time. Raise your hopeful voice, you have a choice, you make it now."

The song went on as Annie clung onto me. I could feel her body heave with silent sobs, but I just kept holding her.

"Well you have suffered enough, and warred with yourself, it's time that you won."

"Oh, Auggie…"

"Shh.." I murmured. This song had been our song from the beginning. It had been the song we'd danced to on our first official date. The song I always caught her humming, even when we were broken up. The song that I had listened to on repeat when I lost her to the dark and many times after that. The song that I would always associate with her. As we swayed, she nibbled my ear lightly as I groaned.

"Annie…"

Her hands travelled up and down my sides, seemingly not caring about the eyes watching us.

"What's the problem, Mr. Anderson?"

"You're driving me crazy here, Annie…" My breath hitched as her lips found my neck.

"I know." She murmured. But she didn't stop.

Finally, the guitar slowly died out but I didn't let go of Annie, even when the applause started. But I knew what came next, so I made myself disentangle from her.

"Where are you going?" She asked. I smiled at her.

"You have to have your dance, Annie."

"What?"

"May I have this dance?" Arthur's voice carried from behind me. I could only imagine the shocked look on Annie's face.

"Of…of course."

New music began playing as I handed Annie off to Arthur and they danced. And I heard Annie's gasp of surprise as she was handed off. I knew the order by heart - first Arthur, then McQuaid, Calder, Barber, Stu, Eyal, Ben, all four of my brothers, and finally my own father. Even if her own father wouldn't be here for her, I wanted her to know that she was loved. By so many people. When the last song ended the applause was thunderous as all the men group hugged Annie. I finally made my way back to her and she laid her head on my shoulder.

"Thank you," she murmured.

"Of course."

Soon, the dance floor was hopping with guests. I somehow even got Katia and Chloe on the floor with the promise that they would each get a slow dance with their new Uncle Auggie. I had just finished waltzing with Danielle when I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Auggie?"

"Yes, beautiful?" I asked, wrapping an arm around her waist.

"It's time for me to give you your present now."

"Ok?"

She pulled me off the floor and out of the ballroom. The doors quickly blocked the sound and it was just Annie and I in the hall.

"Now, before you say anything, it took me a while to find him and I didn't even know if he'd want to come. But as soon as I mentioned you'd name he agreed."

"Who?" I asked, puzzled.

"Me."

I froze, the familiar voice filling my ears. I turned around slowly, almost snapping up to attention the minute I heard him.

"Sergeant…Sergeant Edwards?"

"At ease, rookie." He laughed. "Yeah, it's me. Off duty."

I couldn't believe it. The man who had taught me everything when I was in Iraq was standing in front of me again. He had been a hard ass at first, drilling me and the others like crazy. But finally, I somehow broke through to him, and he became a life mentor to me. He was one of the first people who I talked to after my accident. He had helped me through so much…I thought I had said my last goodbye to him when I left Iraq after my accident, but here he was, in the flesh.

"Are you…are you still…?"

"Overseas? Only for a little while longer, thankfully. Then I get to come home. For good. But enough about me, this is your day. How does it feel, rookie?"

"It feels…good." I sighed.

"Good," I heard him walk up to me and he placed a large hand on my shoulder. "You've become everything I knew you would, Anderson. And more."

"Thank you," I muttered, my eyes misty.

"Ah, don't get teary eyed on me now, rookie. I still outrank you."

"I know." Suddenly, I couldn't take it anymore. Without thinking, I threw myself into his arms and held on tight. "Welcome home."

"It's good to be home, Auggie. It's good to be home."

I hugged him tight until I finally pulled away. "How did Annie find you?"

"She apparently made some perfectly placed phone calls." He laughed.

"Of course she did," I chuckled, my smile permanently on my face.

"She's a beautiful woman, Aug." He sighed.

"I know. Did you come to the ceremony?"

"I did. I'm proud of you, rookie. Your vows were honest, I could tell."

"I practiced." Laughing, we almost lost track of time, talking about the old days when he'd take me and the other guys out on practice runs, laughing all the way. He somehow made everything fun while still being serious.

"Well, as much as this reunion as been great, I really should get going. And let you get back to your wife."

"You're not staying?" I pleaded.

"I can't, as much as I'd like to. I've got things to do if I want to come home in a month."

"You…you came all the way over just to come for my wedding even though you're coming home in a month?"

"What can I say Aug…you were my favorite rookie."

Smiling, I hugged him goodbye, sending him off with a proper salute. The minute I heard the doors close behind him, I let the tears flow. I hadn't even noticed Annie had slipped away until the ballroom doors opened again.

"So…did you like your present?" She asked hesitantly. Turning toward her, I gave her the biggest grin possible, striding over to her in two steps.

"I. loved. it." I whispered, empathizing each word with a kiss afterwards.

"I'm glad."

"Thank you. I haven't seen him in…years."

"I know."

I held her for just a while longer until I felt like I was going to pull her into the next closet to have my way with her.

"The night is still young, Mr. Anderson."

"It is, Mrs. Anderson."

"You still owe my nieces a dance. They've been asking me where you've been the past ten minutes."

"Then I better go make good on my promise. And afterwards…"

"Afterwards the little kids go to bed…and the adults will play." She whispered. Her tone caused me to shift my pants a bit.

"Can't wait."

"Me neither."

And with that, she pulled me back into the ballroom where my two new nieces attacked me, glomming onto my legs.

"Let the man breathe, you two," Annie chuckled.

"It's okay. It's not their fault I'm a lady snatcher."

She laughed again, playfully punching my arm. I dragged the two girls to the floor, the two of them playing rock, paper, scissors to decide who got the first dance. I ended up with Katia first, lifting her into my arms and holding her hand like we were really dancing.

"I'm really happy you married my Aunt Annie." She said into my ear.

"Oh yeah?"

"Yeah. She's so happy with you and I can tell you're happy with her. That, and I'm really happy to have an Uncle now."

I could just see her little smile and my heart melted. Pulling her closer, I felt her soft breath on my cheek. I realized then that I wanted it. I wanted it bad. I wanted the family, the wife, the house, the kids. The things I thought I'd never have after my accident.

I could hear Annie pulling my nephews out onto the floor and as we danced with our new families, I couldn't help but think about the future.

But first, I needed to get through tonight first.
