Two days later
They woke up together in the bed. It was cold in the cabin so they were cuddling and laying close together since they were cold, but they warmed each other up.
''Good morning sweety.'' She said then as she kissed him and he smiled back.
''Good morning miss Halstead.''
''Are you ever going to stop saying that?''
''No, cause it sounds so good.'' He smiled then and caressed her over her back.
''So what are we going to do today?'' She sighed then.
''Well maybe we can go snowboarding, I would really love to go snowboarding, there are some amazing slopes around here.'' He said then and he seemed so excited Erin did not want to say no and she nodded then, happy to see him so excited.
''I am not sure how it will go though.'' He said then as he didn't know how it would go after all that had happened lately and all the recovering he had done.
''I am sure you will be fine and you will be doing better than me.'' She smirked and they got ready for the day.
They walked to were all the slopes started and went into a rental, both renting a helmet and the board and she looked at him as they walked outside and to the small slope where everybody was practicing.
''Are you sure you want to snowboard?'' She said as she started to blush. ''Cause honestly I have never done it before.''
''You can't snowboard?'' He asked a bit surprised. For some reason he was so sure that she could snowboard, although it was not so weird that she could not do it. He had just expected she could.
''Not really.'' She smiled nervous as she held the board. ''Sorry I didn't tell you. You just seemed so excited.''
''I am, but I am also excited about going to show you how to do it.'' He smiled then and they shared a kiss, going to the small slope where multiple classes were teaching.
''Well, show me.'' She smirked and Jay nodded.
''Sure, I will show you.''
She looked as he made his way to the cable that was dragging people up the slope, getting to the top as he slid his glasses down and slowly started snowboarding down the slope. he felt a bit uneasy since he hadn't done it in a long time and with his leg only recently recovered he was worried but he wanted to show her. It was going really well and he smiled at her when he lost his balance.
Suddenly he fell to the ground, flat with his face in the snow and Erin tried not laugh as he was sliding down to her on his chest, crawling up then.
''Would you mind me not doing this? Cause I don't want to slide down the slope after doing a tummy flop.'' She smirked as she helped him up.
''I might be a bit rusty after recovering.'' He said as he wiped the snow of his jacket, some of the students from the classes pointing and laughing at him.
''A bit?'' She smirked as she wiped the snow of his nose and kissed him on his nose.
''Maybe a bit much.'' He smirked. ''Want me to try again?''
''Yeah, please just don't break your leg.'' She smirked as he made his way to the cable that would take him up again. This time he did get down well enough and smiled at her as he stopped right in front of her.
''See, that is how you do it.'' He smirked then and he held her get the board under her feet, dragging her to the cable then and as they were on top of the slope, Erin seemed to get a bit nervous but she also trusted Jay. Slowly he helped her getting down, telling her how to do so and holding her by her arms.
''That felt good!'' She smiled and they practiced a bit more, Erin showing off that she could do it now.
''I got it, I can do it!'' She smiled and made her way towards him now.
''Yeah but you have to stop now.'' He smiled then but instead she didn't seem to know how to do it and he grabbed her in his arms, kissing her.
''That doesn't seem like the right way to brake.'' She smirked. ''But I like it.''
Together they did the practice slope a couple of times, going to the bigger one then and Erin felt a bit nervous but he stayed close to her and helped her and a little later they were having so much fun together. Erin still felt really clumsy on the board but they were having a lot of fun together and later that afternoon they finally brought back the board to the rental, Right before they walked inside Jay saw the snow half pipe.
''Can I show you some tricks?''
''Maybe not.'' She smirked. ''With your luck, you will probably fall and I don't want you to get hurt on our honeymoon.''
''Yeah, you are right, I am cursed.'' He smiled as he kissed her again and they brought the snowboards back to the rental, walking back to the cabin then.
''I love you, I really love the whole honeymoon.'' She smiled then.
''But I still love you more.'' Jay said as he laid his arm around her.
Laughing they made their way back to the cabin as they were so cold and they sat down in the Jacuzzi. He wrapped his arms around her and kissed her on her cheek.
''You Erin Halstead, are one amazing woman, cause you just learned how to snowboard. You have talent in everything.'' He smirked then and she kissed him.
''only because you are an amazing teacher.''
They laid together in the hot tub, neither of them wanting to leave this amazing place. Most important, leaving this moment together.
NOTE: Jay and Erin are still at the cabin and enjoyed a day of snowboarding together, although Jay had to be the teacher for Erin cause she had never done it before. But they both really loved it then but even more than the snowboarding, they love each other.
