To the Last Man.

Owen and Tosh went back to their flat. Toshiko was still worried about Tommy, about what he'd do. Owen was irritated by it, and jealous. He slammed the door shut behind him, and it made Toshiko jump. She turned around to face him.

"What is it, Owen?" She asked, pushing Tommy aside for the moment.

Owen hesitated, his face grim. "Nothing." He mumbled, then shrugged his jacket up, and hung it on the coat rack.

"That's not nothing." Tosh said, but Owen ignored her, and walked toward the kitchen. "Owen?" Toshiko called out. She followed him into the kitchen and saw him opening a bottle of beer and draining half the bottle in one gulp. She tried to snatch the bottle off his hands, but he turned around and drank the other half of the bottle in another gulp, and finally let Tosh take the empty bottle. She set it aside. "What's wrong, Owen?" Tommy and Torchwood momentarily pushed aside, Tosh worried about her boyfriend.

"Nothing's wrong." Owen replied harshly. "I'm fine, so why don't you go and check on Tommy. He is the one who needs help." He glared at her before rummaging through the kitchen, trying to find something stronger than a beer.

"Owen…." She tried to approach him but he turned and glared at her before continuing his search. "I told you nothing happened between Tommy and I." She insisted. Owen had been cross with her all day, mainly because she insisted in spending time with Tommy like she had the years before. "Owen!"

"Don't lie to me, Tosh!" Owen slammed his fists on the table, and Tosh jumped at the sudden movement.

"I'm not lying." She said. "I'm dating you, aren't I?" She asked him. "I wouldn't cheat on you, you know that."

Owen stayed quiet for a moment, and the only thing Tosh could hear was the sound of her own heart beating. Finally, Owen walked out of the kitchen and grabbed his jacket. "I'm going for a walk. Don't wait up." And with that, he was out the door, slamming it shut, as Tosh watched him go, much to her dismay.
