Licking her lips, Lizzy looked up at Phil with a playful smile as his shaky hands zipped up his pants again. She stood up from the floor where she had been kneeling down in front of Phil and sat down next to him.

"So you liked that then, I'm guessing?" Lizzy teased as she looked at Phil. His breathing was still a bit shaky but returning to normal as he gave a sheepish smile.

"It was great. I'm definitely not in a rush to forget it." Phil wrapped an arm around Lizzy's shoulder and pulled her closer to him before kissing the side of her head. He sounded a bit tired but happy. "I definitely liked the sounds you made when it was your turn~." Lizzy lightly slapped his hand playfully as a bit of red came to her cheeks.

"Hey, what did we say? I'm the one that's supposed to make you blush." Phil hadn't been lying though. But it wasn't Lizzy's fault that Phil had been more than happy to please her.

"Yeah, but it's nice making your face red too," Phil countered, curling a piece of Lizzy's hair around his finger. He looked up to the wall to look at the clock. "It's getting pretty late. Do you want to stay for the night, or go home? I don't mind which."

"Well if you don't mind, I'd like to stay here. Might have to borrow a shirt of yours to wear if that's okay with you."

"Yeah." Phil let go of Lizzy as he stood up and leaned down to give her another kiss. On the tip of her nose this time. "I'm sure I can find something to fit you."

Lizzy found herself surrounded by darkness, with light shining down on her. It reminded her strongly of a previous dream where the Shadow Man had a noose around her neck and kicked away a chair that had been keeping her standing and alive. There was no chair here this time, but Lizzy was wary of the darkness. She remembered how perfectly the Shadow Man had blended with the darkness. Making it appear as though the darkness came from him directly.

Maybe it did. Maybe all of this darkness was the Shadow Man. He was everywhere, giving her no chance to escape. No doubt he was plotting on a new, 'creative' way to kill her here for his own enjoyment.

"Just come out already, you son of a bitch," Lizzy muttered as she looked around her. Staying in the light since it was… Well, safe wasn't the exact word Lizzy would use. It made her completely visible and easier to catch. But going out into the darkness didn't exactly sound like a safer option either considering how she could easily run right into the Shadow Man. At least the light would give her some idea of when he would be close. Even if it was likely to be a close call.

Suddenly, her wrist was gently grabbed. Lizzy turned around and tugged her arm away sharply. Lizzy stared at the figure across from her. The Grey Lady, the female ghost she saw at the old venue shortly after decapitating Mangle. Only she looked a bit more solid now. But while she hadn't come off as an immediate threat, knowing she was possibly in Mangle when it tried to bite her wasn't what Lizzy would call a wonderful endearment.

"You… You're that Grey Lady," Lizzy said as she stepped back. "Look, I already have to deal with that shadow creep, so if you can get the fuck out of my head and take your shit with you, that would be very nice and polite of you."

"I'm sorry," Grey Lady said softly, the white line of her mouth curving downwards. "I never meant to hurt or scare you. Honestly."

"I guess that's your way of confessing you were in control of Mangles, right?" Lizzy questioned as she narrowed her eyes. "If so, I didn't realise attempting to bite someone's head was the new fashionable way to say hi."

"I'm sorry," she repeated, some of her upset showing. "I never… I never intended to hurt you. Really. It's just that I saw you there, talking to yourself. The mentioned Parts and Services and I thought you came from that pizzeria. The Parts and Services of the old venue hasn't been open in under thirty years. You were my chance of escaping my prison."

"Prison?"

"I was hoping at most that when you saw that Mangles was still around, maybe made it look dangerous and feral, you would notify someone and the suit and endoskeleton would be scrapped after so long. I didn't actually expect you to do it yourself. But I suppose since it got me out quicker, that's all that matters." The Grey Lady gave a small smile, though it just barely existed. Lizzy wasn't as hesitant as before, but wasn't keen to just blindly trust this person.

Looking over them briefly, they definitely seemed female if they voice wasn't a giveaway. She was like Shadow Man in that there were no lines or such to give details. Not even to give Lizzy an idea as to what exactly she was wearing. It looked like she could have been wearing an open coat (maybe a trench coat?) over either a top and knee length skirt or a dress.

But her voice… Now that the Grey Lady was talking more than before at the old location, Lizzy could have sworn that voice sounded familiar. But she couldn't quite place it. The voice made her sound a little older than Lizzy though. Maybe closer to Phil's age.

"I guess…" Lizzy said slowly. "Um… But why are you here?"

"I… I wanted to start my search at the diner, but then I saw him glare at you," the Grey Lady explained. "I was worried that he might cause you trouble, so I thought it couldn't hurt to try and come here first."

'Search'? 'Him'?

"Him? Are you talking about the Shadow Man?" asked Lizzy. "Creepy living shadow with white eyes and teeth?"

"Y-… Yes. That was him."

"Okay, but you mentioned a search. What ARE you searching for?"

"My daughter. Mallory."

Lizzy's felt a certain chill as the realization slapped her in the face. The memory of a newspaper article came to mind.

'Young mother, Hilary Sweeney, was found in her apartment having overdosed on sleeping pills'

"You're Hilary Sweeney!"

"Yes, that's me," Hilary nodded, another small smile gracing her face. Perhaps happy to hear her being addressed by her name after so long. "I'm… surprised you know it."

"I stumbled across it," Lizzy told her quickly. "But that doesn't matter right now, I…" Lizzy trailed off when she noticed Hilary appeared to be looking over her head.

"… He doesn't want me here… He's very upset…" Hilary murmured. "I don't think I'll be able to hold him back here. I'm sorry. But listen, you should just quit that place. Just quit it and leave while you still can! You're still young and-."

"That's not really an option since I need the money to help my dad," Lizzy interrupted with no regret. "And what are you talking about? The Shadow Man?" She resisted the urge to look behind her. "You're making it sound like you and him have something personal."

"We do," Hilary said, starting to sound a little bitter as she glared over Lizzy's head. "He's the one he forced me inside Mangles when I came back to the pizzeria looking for my daughter. A daughter I will find this time and-."

"AAAAAAA!"

It had been quick. The Shadow Man had jumped over Lizzy's head like he was diving into water, and tackled Hilary to the ground. Lizzy automatically ran over to help Hilary but the Shadow Man struck his leg out, kicking Lizzy right in the stomach with enough force to make her fall into the darkness behind her before he returned his focus on Hilary.

Lizzy winced and clutched at her stomach as she pushed herself up. The darkness was darker than she had first thought. She couldn't see any part of her as she glanced down

"AGGHHhhh…" Lizzy looked directly in front of her, back towards the light, as she heard the pain filled screams from the Grey Lady after Shadow Man swung a hand down on her face.

"Hi-Hilary!" Lizzy ignored the pain in her stomach and stood up swiftly to run to help Hilary and tried to grab the Shadow Man. But he swiped his arm out, hitting Lizzy right in her face, and forcing her back again before the Shadow Man swung that arm down again on Hilary. One final time.

"You… You won't take away my happiness…" Shadow Man hissed down toward Hilary as he stood up. Hilary was still crying out in pain (sounding more gargled this time) and when Lizzy looked at her, she discovered why much to her horror.

Hilary was clutching her eyes, a shining black substance could be seen leaking behind the hands that were clutching at them, while a similar substance came from horrible looking scratches on her throat. A similar substance appeared to be dripping off the fingers of the Shadow Man. It was hard to tell where exactly this blood-like substance ended on his hands. But with the light shining on the substance, it was almost certain that on all of his fingers and thumbs, they were majorly stained.

He sharply turned his head to face Lizzy. She could have almost sworn he heard a crack come from his neck as he did it.

"You. Brought her. Out." Lizzy back away as he turned around and slowly to face her properly. The white teeth that were normally curled up in a rather sadistic grin were curled downwards. He looked back to Hilary and walked around her until he was at her side, and kicked her side twice. Pushing her into the darkness beyond Lizzy's sight.

"You better stay out of here if you know what's good you little bitch!" Shadow Man yelled. "Just go and try and find that bastard daughter, I dare you, whore!"

"Hey, leave her alone!" Lizzy yelled, running towards the Shadow Man with a fist raised. Ready to strike the thing right in the back of his head. The Shadow Man caught her fist though with ease however, so Lizzy attempted to kick him between the legs. Lizzy's leg was grabbed however, and the Shadow Man kicked her directly in the stomach. Tip front.

He let Lizzy drop to her knees, still clutching her fist. Lizzy clutched her stomach and gagged and choked. She almost felt like she was going to hurl.

"This is a moment where I wish you would just goddamn die already!" Shadow Man spat, gripping Lizzy's fist tighter. "The only person I could despise more than you is that woman. And you brought her back!"

"Why did you even put her in Mangles anyway?!" Lizzy demanded. The Shadow Man grabbed the back of her head and hit his knee directly into Lizzy's nose with hard enough force for a crack to be heard. Lizzy tried to hold back any sound of her pain, but it was hard to stop the small whimpers as she felt something hot drip from her broken nose.

"It's none of your business!"

He let go of Lizzy's fist and stepped back, only to kick her in her face. Lizzy fell back and clutched her cheek which was starting to bleed, though not enough to beat her nose in the 'what-can-bleed-more-competition!'

"No one is taking away my happiness. No will, "Shadow Man muttered to himself as he glared down at Lizzy. "Not you. Not that whore with the bastard brat. Not any damn security guard or whatever messed up dumbass decides to work at Freddy's. Just, no one."

The glare lasted only moments longer before the teeth curled into a smile and he raised his hands up in a shrugging motion.

"But hey…"

Drip… Drip… Drip…

"You're an idiot! It's not really your fault. You probably got dropped on your head when you were still in diapers!" Shadow Man said cheerfully as the dripping continued, slowly turning into the sounds of running tap water. The Shadow Man pressed a foot down on Lizzy's throat as he continued to grin down at her hapilly.

Lizzy began to feel something wet underneath her, quickly rising. Managing to turn her head to the side, Lizzy saw water building up. She wouldn't bother asking why since she already knew what the Shadow Man intended for her death this time.

She tried pushing herself off the ground. Tried grabbing his leg and shoving him off of her. Tried kicking herself away. But it was like the Shadow Man was a statue. Or maybe a paperweight would be a better comparison.

The water was rising higher and higher than Lizzy could keep track of. Already it was past her ears and was framing her face which it would soon cover to drown her. The rise seemed a bit quicker than it possibly should have been, but it seemed that so long as the Shadow Man was in her dreams, any type of death was possible here and at any speed.

The Shadow Man hummed a tune to himself as he watched Lizzy splash her limbs in the water as it began to cover her. He seemed to be finding this as relaxing as he did entertaining. It was a bit muffled as the water covered her ears, but Lizzy could still make it out.

And humming was all he did as he continued to watch Lizzy struggle.

The water soon covered Lizzy's entire face. Water rushed through her nose against her will and some of the blood from her nose and cheek began to rise with in the water. Lizzy was panicking and trying to get out as she choked on the water. Her mouth forced itself open as she gagged, letting more water inside and mix with water already inside of her.

Lizzy's struggling was getting weaker and weaker, and she barely had any more strength to do it as everything became darker. Her last signs as she lost consciousness being the light, the water, her blood and the Shadow Man as he smiled down at her.

Lizzy sat up in bed quickly. It was still dark. Quarter past three when she glanced at the clock.

Lizzy looked down at Phil next to her. He had offered her the bed while he would sleep on the couch, but Lizzy had said she wanted to sleep next to him. They had already given each other some damn good oral (which were more or less her exact words) so she didn't see why they couldn't sleep together since they were obviously comfortable with each other.

Phil had looked a bit embarrassed and said he just didn't want to make her feel obligated. It had been sweet of him, but Lizzy felt that Phil was happy when she said she wanted to sleep next to him.

And right now, she was really glad she did, and was glad he was still asleep. He looked peaceful, and Lizzy didn't want to disturb that.

"You are so fucking lucky," she muttered as she leaned back down and snuggled into him.

His warmth was the epitome of comfort right now.
