After a long time, we're going to wrap up the story once and for all! Sorry it took longer than I anticipated, but at least now, I can finally put this story to rest! Anyway, enjoy!
It had been about five days since Monkeyman revived the world and took Olga and everyone else back home. Thanks to the powers granted by his mother, he was able to see to it that everyone's memories (save for the ones near him) were wiped of Bramble and everything else he had done, including his reveal of him being a demon. After all, there was no reason to put Hillwood in a mass panic, since all the demons in this world were now vanquished... at least, for now. Unfortunately, with the taking away of memories also came the consequence of Monkeyman losing the powers his mother gave him. But he was quite okay with that, since at the moment, he just wasn't comfortable with those new powers, so sticking with gadgets was the best way to go. But he knew that there will come a time when those powers would come back to him again...
In fact, as per usual, Monkeyman was looking around the quiet city streets of today, concealing himself in the shadows as he looked around with caution. He heard a couple of voices in the distance and lit up upon recognizing them. As soon as he saw Arnold and Helga rounding the streets, Monkeyman jumped down in front of them.
"Hey, Monkeyman." Arnold smiled.
"Arnold, Helga, I can't thank you two enough for helping me out with everything." Monkeyman smiled. "It's been... I must say... an experience."
"Hey, it's no trouble." Arnold nodded.
"Yeah, with that whole adventure, I don't know if any of our friends will ever believe us if we tell them!" Helga laughed a bit... before pausing. "Come to think of it, because we hung out with you and Olga, I haven't even seen Phoebe all month!"
"Same for me and Gerald... and Rhonda... and Harold... and pretty much everyone else." Arnold sighed. "But you know, this adventure was worth the time and effort. Not only did we save Olga from a loveless marriage..."
"Again for me." Helga pointed out.
"...but no more other worldly demons are going to be a threat to Hillwood." Arnold said. "I suppose you're going to have to look for another job though. Sorry about that."
"Oh, that's all right. Actually, I have some good news!" Monkeyman smiled as he pulled out a letter from his pocket. "The police have seen my work in protecting the city from rogue criminals running the street, and they want me to be an honorary cop... with pay!"
"Hey, that's great!" Arnold said as he looked over the letter. "I'm sure your uncle and aunt must be proud of you when they seen the letter!"
"Well, they were pretty happy that I'm at least getting work." Monkeyman smiled... before pausing. "I guess the next thing they want me to do now is get a new apartment... and goodness knows how long that'll be until I get it."
"Well, at least everything's all good..." Helga sighed a bit, much to Arnold's notice.
"Everything okay, Helga?" Arnold said.
"Oh, yeah, fine. It's just... this month is the longest I've actually spent with my sister... without being jealous of her. That's got to be a new record, even for me." Helga said. "I mean, I still can't tolerate her when she's all perfection and the center of attention, bu-"
"Hey, come on, Helga. You have to admit, she does give you the time of day." Monkeyman smiled. "And I assure you, she'll see you in a new light, seeing as how you managed to save her. I don't think she'll be calling you 'baby sister' any time soon."
Helga paused, thinking about it... before rolling her eyes. "Yeah, but she'll probably still do it out of habit. It's just how she is. It's a shame she has to get back to Alaska."
Monkeyman's eyes widened upon hearing Helga's last statement. "Wait, she's leaving?"
"Yeah, Mom and Dad already got her plane ticket back and everything. After they were comforting her over the loss of another runaway groom who attempted to do her before marriage, they figured she needed to cope back at the place she's living in. Olga's not really upset about it, but they INSISTED she go back." Helga paused. "That's the first time I've ever seen Miriam and Bob beg Olga to leave."
Monkeyman yelped as he asked in a panic, "Where is she now?"
"Probably still packing when I left. If you hurry, you m-" Helga started before Monkeyman pulled out his grappling hook and started to climb up the roof. "And there we go. Looks like we done a good deed, football head."
"Yeah." Arnold smiled a bit. "In a way, we sort of won and got them together."
"Eh... fifty-fifty at best." Helga said. "Do you think Monkeyman and Olga will be having a long lasting relationship?"
"All we can do is hope." Arnold said as he looked at his watch. "You know, we should probably get to Slausen's quick. Gerald and Phoebe are probably already there."
Helga chuckled. "Yeah, Phoebe and Tall Hair Boy is probably wondering why we haven't talked to them in a month."
"Race you?" Arnold smirked.
"What?" Helga said in confusion.
"Ready, set, go!" Arnold said as he ran off, leaving Helga in the dust.
Helga frowned as she growled, "Get back here, football head! You threw me off guard!"
As Helga continued to chase a smirking Arnold down the street, Helga gave a small smile to herself. "Sheesh, if this is how it feels to be fooling around with Arnold, imagine if we actually hook up for real..."
Outside the Pataki household, Olga, back in her regular attire, had just finished putting her last suitcase in the car when she heard the sound of a familiar boy calling out. "MONKEYMAN!"
Olga pulled out the biggest smile possible as she looked up at the roof and saw the familiar monkey-themed superhero dive down between the walls of the alley, and after a few seconds, seeing Kevin walking out. "Kevin!"
Olga ran over and ensnared the surprised man into a hug as Kevin gave a smile, hugging Olga back. "Hey, Olga. I heard from Helga you were leaving today."
The blonde haired woman paused as she looked down. "Y-yeah. My parents seem to have the idea that I was upset that Bramble ran out on me at my fake wedding. They're also upset because both of them want to beat him up too... but they can never seem to find him."
"And they probably never will." Kevin said, chuckling to himself, with Olga giggling.
"Yeah, but..." Olga sighed. "They seem to think I would be better off coping alone before I find love again."
"Do you believe it?" Monkeyman asked.
"Not really, but I actually did need to go back to Alaska anyway." Olga sighed. "I stayed for a lot longer than I thought, and I still need to prepare a syllabus for the school I'm teaching in. So, I'll have to take off."
"Oh..." Monkeyman said in disappointment. "I wish you could stay for longer. I feel we haven't even scratched the surface..."
"I suppose..." Olga looked down sadly. "But you know, I really learned my lesson about guys. Don't get manipulated by someone you think was an older friend or teacher. It never ends well..."
"What about monkey superheroes?" Monkeyman asked... before uttering, "Monkeyman."
Olga gave a small smile and giggled. "Well, as long as they're an old friend who does good for the city... I suppose it's okay... but still, I have to go back to Alaska and teach... but I'll do my best to be back around Christmas!"
"So, does that mean we'll be able to see each other again?" Monkeyman asked.
"Well, of course!" Olga laughed. "Maybe we can try a long distance relationship?"
"Sure." Monkeyman asked as he pulled out a notepad and pencil as he was writing down his address and phone number and gave it to Olga, along with the notepad and pencil. Olga wrote down her address on the notepad before giving it to Monkeyman, along with her phone number.
"I'll call you when I land in Alaska and get back home." Olga smiled.
"I know you'll travel safe... but listen to me, Olga. If something is to happen to you... use this." Monkeyman said as he handed her a remote. "This has been tested by my uncle, but if you press the button if you're in trouble or some guy tries to give you trouble... just press the button. Somewhere, somehow, I will manage to get there."
"A help signal?" Olga gave a smile. "Well, it would be nice to have my own little superhero in my pocket."
"Olga Pataki, I'll find a way to you somehow, even when we're worlds apart." Monkeyman held Olga's hand as both of them looked at each other, smiling. "Because I love you, Olga."
"Oh, Kevin Cannari, I love you too!" Olga giggled as the two of them pulled each other into a kiss, a true kiss, shared by an act of love. As the two kissed, Olga smiled, knowing that no matter where she went, she had a protector by her side... always.
Meanwhile, nearby the bushes of another house, two familiar singers poked their heads out as they started to play their instruments and sang their tune. "And so the legend has been said of Monkeyman and his girlfriend!"
One of the singers then hopped around happily, with the other singer following as the first one sang, "But another story comes to mind, which I do believe, we still have time..."
"It's all about two singers and their guit-" The other singer started before someone from the house next door they were living in threw potted plants at their faces.
"I say!" The first singer looked offended, but the two yelped as they started to run off as the afternoon sun started to settle.

And with that, "Brand New Sweethearts in Hillwood" has been finished up! Overall, this story was pretty fun to do! Yeah, I will admit, I got stuck on a few parts longer than I would have liked, but all in all, I'm glad I was able to do this! Monkeyman x Olga was one of my favorite random out of the blue ships that I came up with in 'Oh Rhonda!', and I wanted to have a story focusing on that couple, and special credit to Da-4th here, some, if not most of his ideas were incorporated into the story, including Bramble, his wicked idea of tricking Olga into marriage and a supernatural force (even though I had to change the idea for another supernatural force... sorry about that, bud!). But still, the journey writing and the journey getting here, it was worth the experience! Will I write another Monkeyman x Olga? Definitely. This is just a fun pairing to work with, that I want to see where I can go with the idea!
The only thing I wish I had was a lot of fanart for this particular fic. Why? Because of the many possibilities I presented with this story, of course! Personally, I wouldn't even mind if someone wanted to make this into a comic! If anybody's interested in making my fic into a comic, then I grant you full permission to do so! Just give me a PM or something first! Well, anyway, thank you all for reading this fic, and have a VERY wonderful day!
