Disclaimer: Hermione decides that the drama in the wizarding world is growing too much. She decides to open up a café in the muggle world, so as to enjoy simplicity during the day. Little does she know that one of the applicants for a job there, will cause a whole new circle of drama for her. And how exactly will her little café benefit Harry and Draco's lives, and how will it banish the drama from both worlds they live in? You know what they say, about Granger's café; her food is like magic, that's what they say, because it keeps all your problems and troubles at bay.
Chapter Fifty:
Bora Bora
The gentle hush of waves crashing lazily on the shore aroused Draco from the best sleep he'd had in months.
He blinked stupidly as the dazzling morning sunshine filtered in through the slat blinds that were partially open over the bedroom window. The large french doors that opened up to the balcony outside their bedroom was covered by the thin organza curtains that remained still with the lack of a breeze. He rolled over onto his back and stretched his arms out, feeling something pop in his chest and an ache unwind from his muscles as he flopped down and stared up at the ceiling. The pale walls gleamed in the sunlight.
He stretched his legs out and ran his hands through his fluffy blonde hair before sighing contently and letting his eyelids flutter closed again.
Their wedding had literally happened within the four weeks after finalizing the payment of their new house. It was a short engagement of only a month, but if they wanted to follow through with their general plans then they needed it to happen straight away. Not that anyone had minded. Draco had been most eager to get a move on with things. He had conceded that they had both wasted far too much time in dancing around one another, and with the added drama of the trials, well they had desperately wanted to settle down as a family as soon as possible. They'd worn simple summer dress robes and had gotten bonded in a small, pretty hotel up London that Hermione had recommended. She and Mona had catered most of the wedding, giving Hermione much needed time in the kitchen and away from the twins for a couple of days -the screaming had been driving her a little crazy. Not that she would complain, she loved Deborah and Jason far too much to let the noise get to her in such a way again.
They had bonded and signed the register as a Ministry official over-looked the ceremony. Everyone enjoyed the meal and the children had been present for the ceremony and the after-party, all of the falling sleep back at the apartment above the cafe. It had created a little bit of havoc the next morning in roping Narcissa and Hermione and Remus to make sure that all the kids got back on the train to Hogwarts alright, whilst he and Draco were ushered out of the door to get their plane to Bora Bora. They had said their goodbyes at the train station along with everyone else, but it didn't take too much longer after the train rounded the corner, that Hermione had shoved a port-key in their hands that would take them to the airport.
Somehow Harry had persuaded Draco into flying on a plane. He didn't remember how he did it, but he was immensely pleased. They'd agreed on flying there and back. Harry assured the blonde man that he would enjoy it, and that he was almost in his mid-forties, he should have experience air-travel by now, and not just on a broomstick! Draco had huffed, but that didn't stop the butterflies from fluttering around in his stomach. When the plane had taken off, he'd clutched his hand around Harry's fist and held his breath until the plane was stable in the air and the seat-belt sign had been turned off.
Harry had grinned at how surprised Draco had been at slowly cruising over the perfectly blue ocean and the beautiful little island dotted around, before their own island came into view and they landed with a few small bumps. They had gotten a ferry to where they were spending their week away. It was like a whole other world; the bright blue, clear waters, the pearly white sand beaches, the palm trees and vivid green grass, the beach huts on stilts in the water, the balconies and wide glass doors and bright pale painted rooms and brightly coloured fish swirling around just over the edge of their balcony.
The sliding door opened and then shut with a 'clink' and then the padding of bare feet across the soft rug that was spread out on the floor of their room drew Draco's attention to the present. He remained on the bed, eyes closed, and relaxed in the cool sheets, not wanting to move and disturb the calm and quiet surrounding him.
The mattress dipped with the added weight of his husbands' body and he felt his heart lurch at the thought. Husband! He was finally married to Harry Potter! He was the envy of many men and women alike out there, and he couldn't help but smirk a little at that. "What are you smirking at?" teased a light whisper somewhere in the room. Peaking one eye open, Draco swallowed thickly. Harry loomed over him at the foot of the bed, his hair wind-ruffled and his tan a glorious deep bronze of his broad shoulders and muscles. Despite being in his forties and his broadened body, he still looked fairly toned, despite having three kids and almost no time for himself. Auror training had clearly been a blessing for him. His muscles were softer now but still beautifully sculptured and gleamed beautifully.
He shrugged a shoulder and smiled up at his husband, "Nothing in particular. Just that I'm not the envy of most of the world right now."
He watched Harry roll his eyes, "Nothing big-headed then?" Harry teased and he leaned over and knelt on the edge of the bed, making it dip and watched as the light caught on the blonde man's own muscles and bright hair. The man really did look beautiful.
Draco ran his hands up both of Harry's arms and watched as the younger man shuddered at his touch. He felt his stomach tighten as Harry smiled softly down at him. "Nope," he smiled gently and tweaked Harry's ear affectionately, "So what were you doing up so early? Holidays are meant to be relaxing times to spend with your sexy blonde husband," he winked and smirked.
Harry grinned down at him and stole a cool, soft kiss, "I was out on the balcony looking down at the fishes and enjoying the morning breeze," he replied gently as he rested down beside Draco, their chests touching. "We should do that one day," he murmured as he nuzzled Draco's neck and stroked a finger against the vague stubble sprouting on Draco's chin.
Draco turned to look down into his lover's bright green eyes, "Do what?"
Harry's face was so open and almost vulnerable that he looked almost like every one of his forty odd years. But he also looked young and timid and so beautiful. Draco felt his heart melt, "Watch the sun rise over the ocean one morning," Harry breathed gently, his lips grazing against Draco's neck, "We can sleep right after, but just to say that we watched the sun rise over the ocean at Bora Bora would just ... be perfect."
Draco wanted to object but something in Harry's voice made him realise just how precious their time was. If they could both enjoy their time together now, then it would be a beautiful memory to look back on in years to come. He reached a hand up and gently threaded his fingers together with Harry's. "That sounds perfect, Harry." He brought the hand up and pressed his warm lips against Harry's cool knuckles.
Harry smiled brightly before burrowing his face against Draco's neck and winding his arms around the blonde man's waist. Draco dropped a kiss onto his head. "So what do you want to do today?" Harry asked gently, his fingers tracing gentle patterns over Draco's skin.
Draco shrugged, "I was thinking I might be up for trying that bupa diving thing you were going on about."
Harry chuckled, "You mean scuba-diving?" he looked up at the blonde, "Really? What changed your mind?"
Draco shrugged again, jostling Harry's head, "I just ... This is our honeymoon. I want to be able to enjoy it. Plus, when am I ever going to swim underwater with tropical fish again?" he peered down at his husband and grinned, "Besides I reckon it'd make good photos, you in scuba-diving gear."
"Me?!" Harry exclaimed through a laugh, "What about you!"
Draco rolled his eyes and ruffled Harry's thick hair, a few silvery lines threading through it at the temples. He dropped a kiss to his scar and then trailed down to his lips. "We can both look stupid then," he smirked, "Now let me get up and have some food, otherwise I'll faint underwater. How unattractive would that be?"
"Oh, I don't know," Harry shrugged, "I mean you could always get a young hunky life-guard to give you mouth-to-mouth," he teased. Draco tossed a wadded up ball of tissue at his head, making Harry chuckle with delight.
By midday they found themselves all kitted-out and after about an hour of being shown how to use the equipment, were driven out into the water with two other couples on holiday. The ocean was so bright and blue that Draco felt so care-free. He even forgot that he was a father and an adult. The relaxation of the island seemed to have that effect on the mind, melting all your cares and worries away until you were left with nothing but the beautiful ocean in front of you and the soft sand beneath your toes. He honestly couldn't remember the last time he had felt so at peace.
The spray of the water coming up and spattering over their skin felt refreshing as they slowed to a stop and bobbed gently on the calm blue waves. Their instructor stood up and recited a few last minute instructions and cautions before they slipped into their gear and positioned themselves on the edge of the boat.
"Alright everyone! You know what to do if something goes wrong or you want to get out early. After three, tip yourselves back into the water. One ... Two ... Three!"
The crashing over the water over their heads as the ocean sucks them under took Draco's breath away -or it would have done if he hadn't been puffing his own personal supply of oxygen. It felt weird having plastic clasped around his mouth, nose and eyes but other than that, it felt amazing to be so weightless. The world around him was an endless blue. Bubble exploded and fizzed up past his ears as he drifted lower below the boat, the other scuba divers easing their way off towards the reefs far below. He felt his stomach knot as a cool hand grasped his wrist. He swiveled around in the bubbles.
Harry's thick black hair drifted in the water, the bubbles drifting around him and making him look so pale and beautiful and almost glowing in the brilliant blue. It was awkward to smile around the mouth-piece, so instead he reached out ad entwined his fingers with Harry's. With a finger pointing down towards the reef, both men started to kick their legs and started to glide downwards.
The reef was beautiful, and Draco hadn't seen something so naturally beautiful in a long time. He loved how it was all dappled by the glimmering streams of sunlight filtering down through the waves. He turned his head from side to side to drink in all the beautiful glimmering fish and swaying coloured strands of seaweed and anemone's.
He jerked a little and glided into Harry when a small octopus darted out of hiding and snatched a small fish out from in front of them.
Just off the edge of the reef all of the scuba divers were suddenly immersed in a school of silvery fish shimmering in the sunlight and flashing brilliantly in the blue that surrounded them. It looked beautiful. He had never seen anything so beautiful -Except Harry naked of course, but he couldn't use that as a story. He hadn't known there were so many fish in all shapes and sizes and all the colours ever! They took his breath away.
By the time they clawed their way back onto the boat, and took their masks off to breathe proper air again, Draco was dumbfounded and so pleased he had agreed to scuba-diving. There honestly was nothing like it, not even in the wizarding world! He leaned back against Harry bare, wet chest, his swim suit pooled around his waist. The air, despite the blazing sun, made their skin grow fairly cold and by the time they came to the shore, Draco was ready to have a warm shower. He shivered slightly as they headed back to grab their clothes from the lockers they'd left them in by the dock.
After waving cheerfully to the other, younger couples who ducked away into the blazing sunshine, Draco wrapped an arm around Harry's shoulders and pressed a kiss to his temples, "That was amazing, Harry."
Harry snickered, "You sound like we've just had amazing sex."
Draco rolled his eyes and tweaked at the younger mans ear, "Come on, what's next?"
Harry hummed thoughtfully, "We could go out somewhere for an early dinner? Walk around some of the main town and grab some little things for the kids?"
Draco rolled his shoulders to unwind a knot that had settled there, "Sounds good, and then an afternoon nap?" he winked down at his husband, still surprised that he could get away with winking at his age.
Harry tipped his head back and groaned in an orgasmic way, making something knot and squirm inside Draco's stomach. "That sounds like heaven!" he groaned before tiptoeing up and nuzzling Draco's cool, salt-scented neck. "God, now I don't know what I want to do; tour about and have an early dinner or go back to the hut and nap." He pouted, making Draco smile affectionately down at him.
"Well we can still have an early dinner, and take a nap beforehand. I don't know about you, but all that floating around and watching fish has exhausted me."
"That's the sun, love," Harry grinned with a small yawn, "All that sun stroke is making you delirious!"
Draco bumped his shoulder against Harry, earning laughter from his younger husband. With their arms around one another, they unconsciously drifted back to the direction of their little stilted hut. The sun reflected off the water and into their eyes. They climbed the wooden stairs up to their hut, slid the door back in its frame and flopped down onto the bed and curled into one another's bodies. Draco breathed in the salty scent of Harry's skin and felt his heavy eyelids drifting shut. He exhaled deeply and felt Harry's cool hands skim over his stomach. Soon the effects of the scuba-diving and the heat from the sun took their toll and both men drifted off to sleep.
By the time Harry woke up he was a little stiff but felt pretty great. He leaned back on his elbows and looked out over the balcony; the sun was hanging much lower in the sky and the waves were tinted a light indigo colour as he gazed out to the horizon. It really was beautiful there. If he could go back in time and go travelling when he was younger and embrace all of this then he would have had so much more interesting stories to tell his children. His stomach twitched a little. But then he wouldn't have been able to experience all of this first-hand with Draco, and that's one of the things he loved the most. His stomach gave a desperate growl and he keeled over to hold his stomach.
"You sound extremely hungry," Draco commented as he came back inside from where he'd been lounging on the deckchairs.
"I am," Harry grumbled as he reached for his glasses. He peered up at his husband and smiled at him, "What have you been up to?"
Draco shrugged a naked shoulder and leaned on the door-frame, "I just took a little glide in the water and then sat down on the lounger. It did feel great." He grinned down at Harry, "But you looked so peaceful I didn't want to wake you up." Harry smiled but soon groaned as his stomach gave another desperate growl. Draco chuckled and went to the slide-door wardrobe that he grabbed a clean pair of chino's and a plain white shirt that defined his lean muscles and highlighted his bright blonde hair, "Come on you, wash your face, get dressed and then we'll go and gorge ourselves on the best food possible."
Harry went up to stand behind the blonde and then wrapped his arms around his waist and pressed his nose into the crook of Draco's neck, "You're perfect you know that?" he breathed huskily.
Draco smirked, "I try my best."
Harry swatted his arse as he went over to the wardrobe to change his clothes.

Sitting on the outdoor terrace with a beautiful view of the darkening waves crashing on the beach and the sun setting down below the horizon, candles flickering in the center of their table and the most delicious wine they'd drunk in months, was the perfect way to end such a fun, mesmerizing day. Harry scanned the menu in his hands and pouted. "Oh damn, everything on hear sounds so good and I know I won't be able to eat all of it before we go back home."
Draco chuckled as he scanned his own menu and watching as the candle light danced on Harry's tanned skin, "Order as much as you want. This is our honeymoon for goodness sake. We can eat whatever we want."
Harry huffed and then looked back down at the menu, "Can we just order some of everything and then share it all?" he asked pleadingly, grinning cheekily over at his husband.
The blonde man grinned and snapped his menu shut, "I knew there was a reason I loved you, Potter." He winked and then called the waiter over to take their order. Once they'd ordered the majority of the menu -a few dishes did sound disgusting so they weren't ordered -and the waiter scurried off looking so happy at the large tip he was no doubt going to get at the end of the night, Draco raised his glass and quirked an eyebrow, "To us," he smiled broadly, "May we live the rest of our lives and happily as possible for two old school rivals." He gave a teasing wink and clinked his glass with Harry's.
Harry laughed and sipped at his own wine. He was quite for a few moments before he looked up at the blonde, "Draco -do you ever wish that we could do the last twenty years over again?" he asked softly.
Draco's smile faded and he blinked in a confused manner, "Well, I'll admit that there have been some awful times throughout, and before that wasn't too great either." He leaned over and reached for Harry's hand. He ran his thumb over his husbands' knuckles and smiled gently, "But I wouldn't go back and change any of it. No now not ever. You know why?" Harry frowned and shook his head slightly. Draco's smile widened, "Because it all led me to you, and this moment right now."
Harry blushed and dropped his eyes down to their now entwined fingers, "I really do love you, you know?" He peaked up to see Draco's staring at him with such adoration that his heart skipped a beat.
"I love you too, Harry," Draco smiled softly before pressing his lips to Harry's hand.
The waiter cleared his throat and placed down the six starters that they had ordered as well as a bottle of water. It already looked mouth-watering. There was quite a lot of sea-food based starters, but then Harry could hardly complain. He'd gone years without eating fish because Ginny had hated the smell, so now he was going to eat as much as physically possible. As their courses arrived and they are with such great gusto, a few of the other people seated around them turned to see them and smile at how silly they must have seemed; two middle-aged men stuffing their faces full of spicy food as well as sea food and pasta's with only a brief recess between their main courses and dessert.
Once the last of their main course dishes were cleared away Draco leaned back in his chair and exhaled, "Holy crap I don't think I could force dessert down as well."
Harry chuckled and tilted his head back against his chair to look up at the starlit sky, "I know what you mean. I think even if I were to crush ice in my mouth I'd be bedridden for days."
"Let's rest for a little while and ... then maybe see if we can move enough to get to our hut," the blonde gave a hearty chuckle and then groaned a little at how full he felt.
It took them about an hour after paying to shift from their seats and, declining dessert and leaving such a huge tip for the waiter, went to their hut and eased themselves gently down onto the bed. "Oof!" Harry grunted as he forced his hands up to unfasten the buttons on his shirt, "So much effort!"
Draco snickered quietly beside him, "Something tells me that we can't keep eating like this."
Harry huffed a soft laugh and rolled his head to the side, "That was awful."
The blonde man rolled his eyes and then yawned, folding his arms underneath his head, "I'm so happy to be here with you," he murmured as Harry rolled over and nestled his head against his husbands' chest.
"I'm so happy too. Plus, we have sooo many photo's to show the kids," he chuckled low in his throat and some of the photo's that they'd taken. One of them he'd snapped a photo of Draco in an afternoon nap, his hair spiked all over the place. He couldn't wait to see Draco's face when they got the photo's developed.
"Is it wrong of me to say that I'm sort of dreading going back home?" Draco asked softly, as he stared up at the ceiling.
"Why?" Harry mumbled, his fingers toying with the dark blonde hair on Draco's exposed navel.
"Just -Well, what are we going to do all day every day, when the kids are at school? I mean, I know Cece and Lily are still young and will be at home, but even so. Won't we get bored?"
Harry shrugged, "I was thinking about that. I was thinking maybe I could take up writing children's book or something. I mean, I always loved writing, just not when it came to schoolwork. I used to have such vivid daydreams so ... That's an option. Did you ever have anything growing up? Outside of lessons and school, was there anything you loved to do that you sort of ... don't anymore?"
Draco hummed softly, "Not particularly. I did love art but I figured that was more due to mother dragging me around with her."
"Anything else?"
"I played piano for a few years before I went to Hogwarts, but I don't think piano teacher is going to get me anywhere."
Harry smiled and pressed a kiss to Draco's chest, "Well if I do decide to write anything, you could always do the arty stuff and the visual campaigns. You used to be good at that sort of stuff. I remember the 'Potter stinks' badges. Those were best-sellers."
Draco laughed at that and hugged Harry tighter, "That's true. I wouldn't mind that. I could be your publicist if nothing else. I mean, sure, Hermione would have loved that, but she has the twins and the cafe to run, so I think she's set."
Harry hummed thoughtfully, "Did we just make some plans for the future?" he teased lightly, poking at the blonde's hip.
"I think we did," Draco grinned and pressed a loving kiss to Harry's forehead. They lay that way for a while before Draco looked out over the balcony, at the indigo night sky, the full moon hovering full and white over the hushing waves. "Hey Harry?" he breathed, "Do you fancy a swim?"
That's how they found themselves floating around just beside their wooden terrace, completely naked and gleaming white in the salty waves that rolled gently around their bodies. Standing on the sandy seabed beneath, their wet arms wrapped around one another, they kissed tender spots along one another's necks and chest, hands running over long-ago toned muscles and surprisingly firm butts before slipping beneath the water and disappearing into the darkness. Soft moans and gasps were whispering along the soft breeze that ruffled their hair. Wet skin slid along wet skin, legs entwined and hips gently ground against one another.
Harry feverishly kissed Draco's cool skin before nudging the blonde over to the smooth wooden stilts holding their hut up in the sands underneath, "Put your hands above your head," he panted as he bit down on Draco's cool, damp skin. Draco complied and moaned as Harry nipped at his throat and then pressed his lips to Draco's ear, "Now wrap your legs around my waist." Draco smirked and slowly slipped his legs around Harry's waist, chuckling in his throat as Harry grasped him firmly and pressed the tip of his erection against Draco's arse.
"Be gentle with me, Potter," Draco gasped gently as Harry shifted and swiveled a little awkwardly to guide himself to Draco's tight arse.
"I'll go slow," he promised as he slowly eased himself into Draco's tight hole. Draco gasped and pressed his lips tightly together. It had been a good thing that they'd been having sex quite regularly otherwise it would have hurt a lot worse than it did. Despite the unprepared intrusion, once they found a comfortable rhythm, Draco finally relaxed and threw his head back with a groan. Harry panted and gasped as he grunted out, "God Draco your arse is so damn tight!"
Draco smirked and then moaned again, rocking his hips against Harry's cock, "I'm not going to last long in this position!"
"And I am?" Harry smirked and did his best to increase his rhythm. He could feel Draco's muscles growing tighter and tighter around him. He could feel both of their bodies get pushed to the brink of an orgasm. "Oh, I'm coming!" he grunted out as he dug his nails into the pale flesh of Draco's thighs as the blonde tense and a milky cloud floated up between them as Harry came deep inside his husband. He dropped his head down against Draco's chest and gained his breath back, "You're so damn sexy, Draco!" he panted.
Draco panted and dropped his arms heavily around Harry's shoulders, "Take my to bed Harry," he mumbled softly, carding his fingers through the thick black hair resting on his chest.
Harry chuckled and let Draco's legs drop back down so he could stand up on his own. "Let's go to bed then, Mister Potter," Harry smirked as he kissed Draco's cheek.
Draco snorted and yanked Harry back against his body and plastered their mouths together in a slow searing kiss. When he pulled away he pressed a couple of kisses along Harry's scar, nose and mouth once again, "That's Malfoy-Potter, to you scarhead."
A/N: I didn't want to do one of those chapters where I map out every tedious activity they do on their honeymoon so I just wanted to give a little incite to what they got up to.
