Matt: Wow, I REALLY underestimate myself. I didn't think much of my cliffhanger.

SideshowJazz1: Well, I couldn't really just leave him hanging. He was mentioned early in the story.

A-Plus Cassiopeia: Indeed.

Al Drin Hoshizora: Well, that didn't work out well. And indeed, the group will need all the luck they can.

Sarah was with the police force at Horrorland, pacing around impatiently. Police officers were continuing to arrive with more captives, and by now, there were hundreds more police than there had been previously.

Eventually, Sarah walked up to her father. "Daddy, we have most of those monsters now," She pointed out. "Can't we dispose of them?"

"Uh, not right now, dear," Mr. Maas said. "We've been... testing out the theme park."

It was only then that Sarah actually inspected the theme park, and she nearly face palmed at the sight.

Several police officers were trying out the rides that weren't damaged. Some police were on the Ferris wheel, others on the roller coaster, and others buying doughnuts.

"I decided to give the guys some 'free time', considering how busy these past few days have been," Mr. Maas excused.

Sarah groaned and stalked off into the theme park. She'd figured this would happen, which is why she'd had another ace up her sleeve to deal with her captives.

As Sarah left to go to the jailing area, a policeman happened to look at the alley and shouted, "Guys, look! Monsters, ahead!"

All eyes snapped towards where the man was pointing. The Creeps had arrived, and were beginning to swarm towards the police.

Instantly, the police all whipped out guns, batons, and tasers, and prepared for the battle. Soon, the area was filled with the sounds of screaming, gunshots, and hissing.

In the jailing area, all of the captives had been lying in their cells, awaiting their impending doom. They all knew that Sarah didn't plan to keep them alive. Some of them paced around in their cells, wondering how everything had gone so badly. On the bright side, kids had been reunited with their parents, even if it was behind bars.

"This stinks!" Luke complained, kicking the wall in frustration. "These cells are so dingy. Then again, it was made by Horrors, so what could I expect?"

"Hey!" Some trapped Horrors shouted, offended. Luke blew a raspberry at them, but Lizzy socked him in the shoulder to quiet him down.

"Will you shut up?" She snapped, agitated. "We're in enough trouble as it is."

Slappy wasn't doing much better. "I can't believe I was got!" He shouted in his cell. "I, the great Slappy, was deceived by a stupid little girl!"

"Serves you right!" Kris shot back from in her cell.

Lindy hugged herself and shook. "Oh my gosh, Kris, what are they going to do to us?" She asked, becoming more frightened by the minute.

"I still can't believe Sarah would do this," Josh said as he was comforted by his parents in his own cell. "She betrayed us all."

"Well, I can't believe you kids would form this big fiasco and not tell us," Amanda and Josh's father said. "How could you keep something like this a secret?"

"It's because we thought you wouldn't believe us," Lizzy said from within her cell. "The adults never believe the kids when something like this happens."

"Are you kidding me?" Lizzy and Luke's mother asked. "Weren't we with you when we were at Horrorland?"

"And how about us when we were at Dead Falls?" Amanda and Josh's mother pointed out. "Kids, of course we would've believed you. You're our children."

"I see that now," Lizzy said, and hugged her parents. "We should've told you, before everything ended up like this."

"Well, isssn't that cute," Dr. Crawler hissed from within his cell. "But, if you've forgot, we're all going to die!"

"Shut up, we're having a moment here," Lizzy snapped, turning to face the snake.

Only mere moments later, the door down the hallway opened, and Sarah appeared, followed by a shadowed figure.

"Sarah..." Josh hissed as he saw her. Instantly, all of the captives shot glares at Sarah, and some of them shouted insults at her. Sarah only rolled her eyes, then took out a flashlight and flashed it at a few Dead Falls relatives. Instantly, their flesh began to burn off from the light, causing them to scream in agony. This quieted everyone down.

"So, it seems we've rounded up most of you," Sarah said, looking down at the cells, which were full to bursting with kids, monsters, and parents alike. She continued, saying, "But, to ensure that we don't get any funny business, I've enlisted someone to take care of you."

The figure behind Sarah walked into view, revealing himself to be Dr. Cranium.

"I read up about him," Sarah said. "And, I know what he can do. If you don't know, he's a telekinetic, and he can erase minds."

It didn't take long for everyone to figure out what Sarah had planned.

"Oh, no..." Lizzy whispered in shock.

"He's going to erase your memories of all of this," Sarah explained. "You won't remember what you're doing here. Thus, you won't be able to figure out how to escape. As for the parents, they won't remember that they ever had kids, and vice versa. You won't remember anything about what you're doing, or who you are. It'll make it easier when the police propose the death penalty, and such."

"You won't get away with this!" Wendy shouted in her cell.

"Oh, shut up!" Sarah snapped, and turned to leave. "Dr. Cranium, do as you wish. I'm leaving."

With that, Sarah vanished out the door.

"It's a shame my old enemies aren't amongst you," Dr. Cranium stated, referring to Jillian and Jackson. "But, you all will have to do. Now, who will I start with?"

His eyes fell on Luke, and he smiled. Instantly, Lizzy and their parents jumped in front of Luke.

"Don't you dare try it!" Lizzy and Luke's mother shouted, shielding her son.

Dr. Cranium grinned, and began to focus his mind on the Morris family. Immediately, the family began to feel lightheaded. It was as if some outside force had entered their mind, and was slowly, painfully, tearing away their memories.

"N-no..." Lizzy moaned as she felt her mind begin to slip away. She tried desperately to fight against Dr. Cranium's influence, but his hold on her was too strong.

Her brother... her parents... all of her memories of them were fading away.

The other captives watched on, an identical look of utter horror plastered across their faces. "Stop it!" Mindy shouted, slamming her fist against the wall of the cell.

The other captives joined in, shouting at Cranium to stop his assault on the Morrison family's mind, but it was no use. They could only watch as the Morrisons had their memories stripped away from them, with the knowledge that soon, they would be next.

THWACK!

A sickening crack filled the air, and everyone watched as Dr. Cranium crashed onto the ground with a thud. Within their cells, the Morrison family collapsed onto all fours, feeling the exterior force overwhelming their minds suddenly become extracted. Immediately, all of their memories came flooding back to them, and the family gasped in relief.

"W-What?" Dr. Cranium whispered as he rubbed his temple, where he had been struck. Looking up, his eyes widened in shock when he saw Jodie, standing above him, holding the cover of an air vent in her hand.

"Come on out, you guys!" She called out towards the ceiling.

Instantly, several scarecrows jumped out of the opened air duct in the ceiling, landing softly on the ground next to Jodie. One of the scarecrows was carrying Mark as they landed in the hallways. The other captives gasped in shock.

"What?" Dr. Cranium asked in disbelief as he was surrounded. "But how did you escape?"

"We were never caught!" Jodie revealed to him. "When the cops came and started imprisoning everyone, the scarecrows sneaked me and my brother out of the scene. We laid low in this damned theme park until we managed to find where Sarah was holding everyone. It wasn't hard; the scarecrows are excellent at hiding!"

Before Dr. Cranium could get up, Mark kicked him in the gut, knocking him on his back. Within their cells, the captives cheered as the siblings and the scarecrows dealt with the wicked doctor.

Suddenly, the door at the end of the hallway swung open. All heads whirled around to see Amanda and Franny dash through the door and into the hallway.

"Everyone, we're here to save-" Franny started, but stopped when they saw the two siblings and the scarecrows delivering a brutal beating to Dr. Cranium in the middle of the hallway.

"Okay, what did we miss?" Amanda asked, feeling oddly irrelevant now that help had already arrived.

"Amanda, you're okay!" Josh shouted from in his cell. The two siblings waved towards each other.

Meanwhile, Jodie, Mark, and the scarecrows were continuing to pummel Dr. Cranium. One scarecrow grabbed Dr. Cranium and slammed his bald head into the wall. The doctor groaned and slid down the wall, slumping onto the ground, dazed.

Suddenly, the doors on the other end of the hallway were ripped open, and Billy, Sheena, Aaron, Della, the other missing kids, and a group of Mud Monsters rushed inside.

"Billy!" Mrs. Deep called from within her cell. "Sheena! You're alright!"

"Don't worry, mom and dad," Billy reassured his parents. "We're gonna get you out of here. Where are the keys?"

"They're over there!" One of the Horrors called out, pointing to the wall on the other side of the hallway. Billy immediately rushed down the hallway, passing by Jodie, Mark, and the scarecrows in the process.

Jillian saw Dr. Cranium trying to get up, and telekinetically tossed him into the wall. Jackson followed this up by tossing Dr. Cranium into the ceiling with enough force to crack the ceiling. Meanwhile, Billy had taken the key off of the wall and was unlocking the cell doors with the kids and parents in it, freeing them.

"Franny!" Matt Krinsky shouted once he was freed. He ran over to Franny and enveloped her in a hug.

"Whoa, watch it," Franny said as she returned the hug. "You don't want to snap me in two."

"Oops, sorry," Mark apologized, slightly loosening his grip on her.

Meanwhile, the Bog Monster threw Dr. Cranium into the wall. Dazed, Dr. Cranium stumbled about, and Aaron telekinetically threw him into the ceiling again, with even more force. He smashed out through the ceiling and went soaring up into the sky. His screams echoed out, before even that faded out.

Now that Dr. Cranium was gone, Billy had finally finished unlocking the trapped humans.

"Uh, what are those Mud Monsters and scarecrows doing?" Mr. Wood asked from in his cell. "They're helping out?"

"Yeah, you got a problem with that?" A Mud Monster asked in a husky tone.

Sheena rushed over to Billy. "Is everyone out?" She asked him as she looked around. By now, the hallways were crammed with a large number of people, but most of the monsters remained imprisoned.

"Sheena, you're okay!" Josh said, shaking Sheena's hand.

Meanwhile, Amanda walked up to Billy. "How'd you get past the police?" Amanda asked him.

"Oh, we just went through the back of the park," Billy explained. "The police were all at the front."

"What do we do now?" Lizzy asked, scratching her head as she tried to push past the large crowd of people squished together.

"We're going to take down the police and show them what Sarah has done," Billy told her. Then, he turned to the trapped monsters, and asked, "Are you in?"

"...What?" Will asked in his cell.

"You're asking us for help?" A Dead Falls resident asked, in utter disbelief.

"We could use some assistance," Della pointed out. "I mean, I'm helping, the scarecrows are helping, the Mud guys are helping."

"But, we're enemies!" Slappy snapped, stamping his foot on the ground.

"Why?" The Bog Monster asked. "I mean, haven't you all had a goal in your life, other than causing harm?"

Amanda turned to the Dead Falls residents. "Guys, you feed on the living so you can keep on surviving," She said to them. "Isn't that selfish? You died, but you can't accept that, so you kill others to preserve yourselves."

"But, we don't want to die," Karen pointed out.

"Well, we're all going to die unless we work together," Billy pointed out. "Can't you see how stupid this all is? Weren't many of you humans at some point? Isn't there a human part of you still?"

Billy waited for an answer. When none came, he sighed and turned to leave.

Suddenly, Mr. Dawes called out, "Wait, we believe you."

Billy turned around, a hopeful look on his face. Without saying a word, he began to unlock all of the cell doors, releasing the monsters. Some nodded in respect, others didn't say a thing.

The moment Billy unlocked Slappy and Mr. Wood's door, the two dummies sprang out and tackled Billy.

"Billy!" Sheena shouted out in horror. She was about to rush in and help him, but Amanda held her back.

"Great work fooling him, guys!" Slappy told the monsters as he and Mr. Wood pinned Billy to the ground. "Now, let's get rid of all these kids!"

To Slappy's shock, however, several zombies rushed over and pried him off of Billy. Mr. Wood, meanwhile, was yanked into the air by Mr. Dawes.

"What are you dummies doing?" Slappy asked, kicking and thrashing in the grips of the zombies. "Unhand me!"

"Billy's right, we have to do this!" Karen said to Slappy sternly. The zombies tossed Slappy back into his cell, along with Mr. Wood. The two dummies sprang upwards and rushed towards the exit, but the door was slammed shut before they could exit.

"You idiots, helping the humans!" Slappy shouted hoarsely as they closed the cell on him. "You'll pay for this!"

Once the cell door was closed, Mr. Dawes turned to Billy. "Now, what's the plan?"

Billy shook his head, and said, "You guys do it. Me, I have to go and settle something with Sarah."

"But Billy-" Amanda started, but Billy interrupted her.

"Don't worry, it's your time to shine, now," Billy said, gesturing to her. "You lead your brother to safety. I'll atone for my mistakes and deal with Sarah."

Amanda stared at Billy, then nodded. Billy smiled, then turned around and pushed past the crowd to head off and find Sarah.

All eyes were on Amanda now. "What do we do, sis?" Josh asked.

Amanda stared at him, and held his hand. "I have just the idea," She said, smiling.
