Today is update Monday, so here is a new and long chapter. Do not own Scandal or its characters. Please excuse any typos. Happy Readying, and as always reviews are greatly encouraged.

Olivia managed to regain her composure quickly. "Savi . . . what are you doing here." She muttered trying to keeping her tone steady.

Savi smirked "I should be asking you the same question . . . hmmm doing a walk of shame from the residence." Earlier in the evening, Savi was on her way to the Oval Office to confirm the time for Fitz's birthday celebration, knowing he tends to work late in the Oval. She instead saw Olivia suspiciously following Fitz from a distance to the residence.

Olivia shrugged, "I was working on campaign material with Fitz and it got late so I decided to crash in the guest room." Olivia thought to herself that seem like a reasonable excuse to be in the residence this late that will not raise suspicion.

Savi decided to be direct with Olivia. "I know Olivia . . . you and Fitz totally hooked up tonight . . . I witness with my own eyes you sneaking to the residence a few hours ago . . . your hair is curly, maybe from you sweating it out during love-making . . . despite your skills in makeup application I can still see a hint of a hickey on your neck."

Olivia's mind raced. She was not prepared for a CIA-level interrogation. She quickly tried to weigh her options of revealing her relationship to Savi. Olivia's pondering was interrupted, however, by her phone vibrating alerting her to the fact that Gerry would be leaving the residence soon to go pick up Lily's from Olivia's mom apartment. "OK, yes, Fitz and I were together tonight . . . now I have to go your nephew will be waking and walking out that door soon and I cannot be here when he does." Olivia quickly turned and began to walk towards the garage where a car was waiting to take her home.

Savi followed her. "Oh my gosh . . . you cannot drop a bomb like that and walk away . . . I need details."

Olivia shook her head looking around to make sure they were alone. She whispered, "nothing really to tell, me and Fitz are together . . . you should be happy your scheming worked . . . we are going to live happily ever after . . . mission Olitz was a success." Olivia was well aware of Savi's mission Olitz and that the media like to use the nickname when they talked about Fitz and Olitz past together.

Olivia, Savi, and Tom, who had orders from Fitz to make sure Olivia made it to the car safely, all entered the private elevator to the garage. "Tom aren't you so happy . . . those fools finally saw what a blind person could see . . . that they are meant to be."

Tom nodded his head. He did not like keeping the fact that he knew Fitz and Olivia were together for months from his wife, but it was his job. "Yes, I am very happy they are back together." He kept his eyes straight, because despite his years of training, Savi had this ability to see right through him and retrieve information.

Savi noticed her husband did not look her in the eye. "Are you not happy they are finally together?" She positioned herself in front of Tom.

Tom kept an expressionless expression on his face. "I am happy."

Savi shook his head, "There is something going on here . . . something you are hiding from me."

Tom eyes shoot to Olivia briefly before they return to Savi.

Savi stared her husband down as if she was digging through his subconscious for whatever he was hiding.

Olivia watched this interaction between Savi and Tom. She felt bad that Tom keeping their secret could potentially affect his marriage. She let out a sigh, "We are not finally together . . . we have been together for months."

Savi shook her head, "You are so in the dog house . . . you knew they been together and you didn't tell me . . . get prepared to sleep on the couch"

Tom shook his head, "I'm sorry . . . I couldn't tell you . . . my job as a secret service agent is to keep the president's secrets no matter what."

Olivia chuckled slightly at the sight of this almost 7-foot tall man cowering at his much smaller wife, "Aww Savi cut him a break, he couldn't tell even if he wanted to . . . he swore allegiance to the President under the law."

Savi raised a eyebrow. "You aren't keeping any other major secrets relating to my family are you?"

Tom looked her directly in the eyes, "No more secrets."

Savi nodded her head, "I guess I will give you a pass on this one."

There was a hint of a smile on Tom's face as the doors open.

Olivia began to walk towards the waiting car as she noticed Savi following her. "Why are you following me to the car?"

Savi says without a hesitation "I am coming with you . . . you cannot just reveal what you reveal and not give me details." Savi had never had a sister or close female friends, so her relationship with Olivia was the closest things she had to a female sisterly bond and she was looking forward to experiencing girl talk even if it involved discussing her brother's personal life.

Olivia shook her head, "Its almost 4 in the morning, aren't you tired?"

Savi shook her head, "Nope, I had two cups of coffee while I was waiting for you to do your walk of shame out of the residence . . . now come on we should get out of this garage before we are seen."

Olivia sighed as she entered the backseat of the secret service driven car and waited for Savi to enter the car as well.

Tom remained outside the car and watched it pulled off. He shook his head as he thought to himself, he did not envy Olivia.

Hour Later . . .

The pair made it inside Olivia's apartment. Olivia made tea to prepare herself for the questioning she was about to get. "So ask your questions, so I can get this over with and take a nap."

Savi smirked as she got comfortable on the couch, "So you said you been together for months, how many months are we talking, three . . . five months."

Olivia sat two cups of tea on the table, "Almost 7 months . . . we been back together since the first campaign trip to Vermont in early spring."

Savi's eyes got big, "7 months . . . you been back together for 7 months . . . and I didn't notice it . . . wow you two are good at hiding your relationship." She shook her head, "and you two and Vermont . . . that place must have a magical effect on you."

Olivia laughed, "You can say that . . . we just realize after we stop running and really talk to each other . . . the only thing keeping us apart was us."

Savi shook her head, "It's about damn time . . . wicked witch of the south Mellie is no longer in the picture . . . the two of you should have been back together . . . happily christening all 50 states with your loving during this campaign cycle."

Olivia let out a loud laugh, "me and Fitz are taking this slow and taking the time to really date and get to know each other."

Savi nodded her head. "That seems a little backward . . . you have a 4 year old daughter together."

Olivia chuckled, "I am aware, but the first time around we didn't really take the time to properly date each other and lay a foundation down for a long term relationship . . . while I have knew your brother for a number of years, doesn't mean I cannot learn something new about him every day . . . to be honest I am really enjoying dating and creating memories with him."

Savi smiled, "Aww that sounds so romantic . . . so is it difficult dating a sitting president . . . it's probably mostly buying ou restaurants and eating alone together."

Olivia pulled out a hair holder and put her wavy hair into a bun. "It's funny we have not had a normal restaurant date yet . . . no most of our dates require breaking many secret service rules and procedures . . . most of our dates involve dressing down and blending in with the public . . . we went to a carnival in Baltimore, watched the Yankees crush the Red Sox in nose bleed seats, drive-in movie in Arizona, night-time picnic at a lighthouse in Maine, bowling in Alabama, ice skating in Utah, ate at a dive bar in Rhode Island, and salsa club in Florida."

Savi eyes widen, "You two have done all of that undetected . . . like people don't find it weird a bunch of tall men dressed in black follow you around."

Olivia bit her lips thinking of all the trouble Fitz's agents could get in if it was revealed they allowed such a wide perimeter for Fitz. "Yeah his agents normally dress in plain cloths and try to blend in as well . . . participating in activity we are doing but not doing it directly with us . . . they keep an eye on us but aren't standing directly next to Fitz . . . yes I know that is dangerous and it breaks a lot of rules . . . it was the compromise we came up with, which allow us to date but allow them to do their job . . . surprisingly at night most people don't pay us much attention . . . I guess without his suit and my expensive business casual attire we look like normal citizens . . . it also helps that most American don't really believe a sitting president would be bowling at their local bowling alley on a random Wednesday evening with no apparent secret service agent surround him."

Savi nodded her head, "I guess I can see how you two could fly under the radar and not get detected, especially at night in the dark people cannot really get a good look at your face."

Olivia took a sip of her tea, as she got a text from her mother that Gerry picked up Lily to take her to the White House to help make Fitz's breakfast for his birthday. "Yeah . . . most of our early dates took place at night it was easier to fit it in after campaign events . . . but after Cyrus found out we were back together . . . we began to have a few daytime outings when we had no major campaign events planned . . . once Cyrus knew it was one less person we had to give an excuse to and he has been quite helpful with providing other people excuses when we wanted to disappeared together."

Savi placed the cup of tea down she picked up, "Cyrus know? " Savi began to laugh as it finally began to make sense why Cyrus was so against Fitz and Olivia dancing together and was pushing that level 5 stalker Alison onto her brother so heavily. "I can imagine he was not too pleased you are together again, let along that he had to help you keep the relationship secret."

Olivia shook her head, "No, but Fitz and I made it clear that he can either quit or get on board with it . . . apart of getting on board is providing excuses and explanations to third parties when we were out on dates . . . to his credit, for the most part, he has moved mountains to keep our relationship secret from the public . . . he even literally stalled a foreign diplomat for two hours while we made our way back from a music festival.

- Flashback Begins -

Few months prior at a southern New Jersey hotel . . .

Olivia had just changed out of her business casual into a spring dress that went to her knee and a pair of sunglasses when she entered Fitz's hotel room. Despite Cyrus knowing about their relationship they still keep separate hotel rooms for appearance sake.

Fitz and Cyrus was so engaged in their conversation they did not notice Olivia had entered the room.

Cyrus shook his head, "I am so tired of jumping through hoops for the Canadian Prime Minister, Harper . . . I don't even know why we are wasting our energy, he is outgoing anyway . . . looks like he is getting replaced by some younger men name Justin . . . we should just wait until he comes into office."

Fitz shook his head, "Cyrus . . . we don't have time for that, if we want this trade deal to be announced before or shortly after the Republican convention for maximum effect, we need to secure his support for this trade deal . . . I think you are making a bigger deal out of him cancelling than it really is."

Cyrus loosened his tie as he felt his face heat up. "No, this is a big deal . . . we are in freaking New Jersey . . . the place you come for cheap gas and nothing else, because this man wanted a location with little press and exposure . . . we get here, rearrange your campaign schedule because we had no plan to spent valuable pre-convention time in a state that a Republican has not won since George H.W. murder Dukakis . . . this man has the nerve to cancel four hours before the meeting."

Fitz noticed Olivia had walked in the room and smiled over at her as he admired her dress. "Well Cyrus . . . he is the Prime Minister of Canada . . . something came up, its understandable . . . I don't think our time here was a waste we had a really good rally in Camden that made me pumped for our rally in Pennsylvania tomorrow."

Cyrus shook his head. "You are the President of the United States not some bum on the streets, he cannot stand you up like this . . . I think we should scrap our plans to stay overnight here since we have no meeting and return to Washington."

Fitz goes to grab his sunglasses as he stood there in a polo and cargo shorts, which Cyrus had not noticed when he barged into his room to vent about his disdain for the Prime Minster, "No, we are not scraping our plans . . . I figure with the cancel meeting . . . Olivia and I can have a nice day date . . . the weather is amazing outside and we can all honestly use a day off."

Cyrus finally noticed Fitz's casual outfit and that Olivia had entered the room. "A day date . . . must I remind you, that you are the President of the United States . . . you cannot just go have a picnic in the park . . . this is horrible idea Fitz."

Fitz shrugged, "That's your opinion . . . which you are welcome to have . . . but I was not informing you of my plans for your approval or your permission . . . I was informing, so you would not be surprise that me and Olivia are not around."

Olivia smiled, it was kind of a turn-on to see Fitz be so aggressive and assertive when it came to their relationship.

Cyrus look over at Olivia, "You have to know this is a bad idea . . . you think you can walk out this hotel dress the way you are both dressed and not raise questions . . . yes this is New jersey and the press is not as intensive, but he is still a sitting president and are a woman he is known to have a past with." Cyrus was careful when he spoke on Fitz and Olivia's relationship and the scandalous nature, knowing that was a trigger for Fitz.

Fitz smirked having set up a plan, the moment he heard the Prime Minister cancelled, to have a day out with Olivia. "I am aware we cannot just walk out without cause a scene . . . Tom you can send in the agents."

Tom touched his earpiece and said several code names. Three people entered the room, one was a tall white man, around the age of 50 with blue eyes, dressed in a suit that favored Fitz . . . the second to enter was a African American woman with dark straight hair who stood around 5'5 with a white trench coat and sunglasses, and the last to enter was a middle age heavy set white man with thinning hair, also dressed in a suit.

Fitz turned to Cyrus. "meet our decoys . . . they will be walking out the front door and the press will surely follow them . . . we will be walking out with a tour group composed of the three of us and several agents dressed in tourist attire at the same time . . . I have a lovely Hawaiian shirt and fanny pack for you, Cy."

Cyrus looked at the decoy that was supposed to represent him. "This is not going to work . . . he looks nothing like me . . . I am pretty sure this will fail and I'll have to clean up the PR nightmare."

Olivia was not certain Fitz's plan would work and honestly this was the first time she heard of it herself, because she would have planned something more certain but she definitely was not going to allow Cyrus to know she was not certain about her man's plan. "You mean I will deal with the PR nightmare if one occurs . . . I am the best in the business . . . but this is an unnecessary conversation because there is no PR nightmare to clear up . . . so put on your Hawaiian shirt and lets get this plan in motion."

Fitz laid a light kiss on her cheek, he loved how Olivia had his back, even when he knew she had her doubts.

"Oh and most Americans don't even know what you or most chief of staff look like . . . an advantage of being the behind the scene guy." Olivia added.

A hour later . . .

The decoys walked through the lobby and as predicted all the hotel staff and press present turned their attention to the trio and their secret service agents exiting the hotel for a car with tinted windows.

While the real Fitz, Olivia, Cyrus and a few agents walked with little attention out a side exit for a waiting party bus with tinted windows Fitz had arranged.

Once on the bus, Olivia let out a sigh of relief, she both enjoyed and was frighten at times by the crazy things they had to do in order to date quietly.

The hotel they were staying at was 15 minutes from Atlantic City. Cyrus was dropped off at an Atlantic City casino with much protest.

Once without Cyrus, Olivia cuddle into Fitz's embrace on the huge party bus, "So where are we going . . . the beach . . . take in a show . . . spa, Tropicana has a nice one."

Fitz pulled Olivia close as he took in her scent and rubbed his face into her neck. "Nope . . . it's a surprise but I am sure you will love it."

They drove until they got to this large field full of people and sounds of music.

Olivia looked out the window and read, "Spring Soul Festival." she shook her head, "Fitz we cannot . . . this is too risky . . . there are too many people, someone will recognize us."

Fitz laid a light kiss on her neck, "We must, Lauryn Hill is one of the headliners and Stevie Wonder is supposed to close the show today . . . yes there are a lot of people, but that just will make it easier to blend in."

Olivia bit her lip as she weighed the pros and cons, Lauryn Hill and Stevie Wonder were two of her favorite artist and Fitz did put in a lot of effort to make this happen. She did not get a real chance to reject this idea when she felt his hands pulling her up from her sitting position.

Fitz leaned in and kissed her, "Come on sweet baby.

They exited the party bus and appeared like a group of friends with several female agents mixed in the group that were normally not on Fitz's primary detail. They all entered the venue with their online tickets and looked around for a nice spot to set up a beach blanket. They were able to find a good spot where they could still see the artist but not be in the commotion of all the people crowding around the stage. The festival seemed to be between sets as the band played music to keep everyone entertained while the next artist got ready backstage.

Olivia decided to grab a funnel cake that smelled delicious from a distance. "Fitz I'll be back, I am going to grab a funnel cake . . . do you want one?"

Fitz stood up from the blanket, "I'll come with you . . . I wonder if they have fried Oreos."

Olivia began to laugh, "You know you are not supposed to have those . . . you are supposed to be eating healthy." she teased him.

Fitz rolled his eyes. "You only live once . . . I will eat healthier tomorrow . . . today I want a fried Oreos."

Olivia began to chuckle as they made their way over to the food trucks, with agents, Jackson and Laura following not too far behind like they were a couple. "I never knew you love fried Oreos this much."

Fitz wrapped an arm around her, "Us Irish love our fried Oreos during Saint Patty Day." He muttered in a horrible Irish accent.

Olivia let out a hearty laugh, "You are like two percent Irish my love . . . but I guess I learn something new every day . . . your love fried Oreos." Fitz and Olivia often avoided saying each other names in public in case someone was eavesdropping or recording.

They make it to the food trucks and line up one behind the other with Olivia in front. She made it to the front of the line and muttered. "I will have one funnel cake and lemonade." She goes into her purse to pay.

Fitz cleared his throat wearing sunglasses and a navy blue colored bucket hat, "Hey guys the snacks are on me since my baseball team lost yesterday."

Jackson added, "of course the snacks are on you . . . the Dodges suck."

Olivia laughed, "Yankees all the way . . . since you are paying; I will add extra powder on my funnel cake for my order."

Laura chuckled, "Yeah and I am so getting a loaded hotdog with all the fixing."

Fitz shook his head, "Guess I am lucky I just got paid yesterday." He waited until Jackson and Laura ordered and paid for everyone's food.

The cashier smiled, "Aww don't felt bad, I am also a Dodger fan and my friends give me hell for it on the East Coast . . . I'll make sure they put a an extra Oreo in your order free of charge."

Fitz nodded his head, "Yeah us Dodger fans got to stick together."

They moved to the side to wait for their orders. The cook turned around to hand them their orders and stop dead in her tracks. Olivia began to panic, that she might recognize them and that their cover was blown.

The woman kept staring, "I know you from somewhere." She pointed at Olivia.

Olivia shook her head, "I don't think so, I am not from the area."

The cook rubbed her chin, "No I seen you before . . . on tv."

Olivia's heart began to race as she felt Fitz touch her hand as if he was prepared to throw her over his shoulder and make a run for it.

The cook continued her pondering. "Yeah . . . you look just like that black actress . . . on that tv show you know the one that comes on after that medical show that has been on forever and my favorite show with Viola Davis . . . what is her name Gabrielle Union . . . no . . . Taraji P. Henson . . no . . . Naturi Naughton . . . No . . . ahh I know it will come to me later when I am not thinking about it."

Olivia pushed out a smile to cover up the fact she nearly had a heart attack, "Yeah I am definitely no movie star . . . just an over worked attorney trying to make a living."

The cook nodded her head, "Yeah I know that's right . . . aren't we all."

Olivia slipped some money in the tip jar as the four of them return to their blankets and the other agents.

Fitz waited until they both were sitting before he pulled Olivia close and place a soft kiss on her neck and muttered, "Kerry Washington . . . that's the actress from that show . . . you two favor each other but I must admit you are far more beautiful."

Olivia let out a laugh, "You are only saying that because you love me." Olivia pause "wait your watch that show."

Fitz laughed, "not really . . . I normally catch the last few minutes of that show . . . Scandal . . . I think it's called . . . when I am waiting to watch How to get Away with Murder with Karen . . . if I am going to watch network television . . . it's definitely not going be a political drama . . . get enough of that in real life."

They finished their respective snacks, when Lauryn Hill came onto the stage for her set.

Olivia excitedly hopped up and began to sway and sing away with her.

Fitz looked on with a smile on his face to see Olivia this happy and free. He was not too familiar with Lauryn Hill's music but he knew how much Olivia loved her album, Miseducation of Lauryn Hill. He would often hear it playing when Olivia was working late on campaign strategy in her makeshift office at the White House.

Olivia turned around to see him staring at her, "Come dance with me."

He shook his head, "Oh no I don't know this song . . . I'll look foolish."

Olivia shook her head as she leaned forward hearing the guitar notes from the song 'Can't Take my Eyes Off of you'. "Oh you will know this song coming up, it's a Frankie Valli from the Four Season remake . . . Frankie is of your era right?." Olivia teased him as she pulled him up.

Olivia wrapped her arms around his neck, as he wrapped his around my waist, as they swayed back and forth. Lauryn Hill did a stripped down version of the song only being accompany by a guitar.

Olivia muttered the words of the song, "You're just too good to be true . . . I can't take my eyes off you . . . You'd be like heaven to touch . . . I wanna hold you so much . . . at long last love has arrive . . . and I thank God I'm alive . . . You're just too good to be true . . . Can't take my eyes off you."

To Olivia surprise, Fitz in his raspy deep voice began to mutter the second verse to her, "Pardon the way that I stare . . . There's nothing else to compare . . . The sight of you leaves me weak . . . There are no words left to speak . . . But if you feel like I feel . . . Please let me know that its real . . . You're just to too good to be true . . . I can't take my eyes off you."

He spanned Olivia in his arms, as they sway throughout the remainder of the song. It was moments like that, that make all the hoops they had to jump through to get to this point worth it.

They danced for another two songs before taking a break to rest, wanting to save some energy for Stevie Wonder.

The stage was being set up for Stevie Wonder to enter soon, when Olivia's phone began to ring. She sighed, "it's Cyrus."

Fitz shook his head, "Ignore . . . don't let him ruin our date . . . he probably lost all his money at the tables and he is bored now . . . he would contact Jackson if something was serious." With Tom with the decoy Fitz, Jackson was the primary agent in charge.

Fitz's logic made sense, so Olivia ignored the call.

Jackson's phone began to ring; he picked it up, handed the phone to Olivia, "It's for you."

Olivia sighed knowing this is a sign their day out was ending. "Yes, Cyrus?"

Cyrus cut to the chase immediately and skipped the nicety, "Don't yes Cyrus me . . . why didn't you pick up your phone . . . forget it, don't give me an excuse . . . you and Fitz need to get back immediately . . . apparently the Prime Minister can now fit us in his schedule . . . he wants to meet at the hotel in a hour . . . I already hitched a ride and should be back there shortly . . . so you two need to get back to the hotel asap."

Olivia sighed as she explained the situation to Fitz. They both saw Stevie Wonder being guided onto the stage to start his set, "I guess we will have to catch Stevie another time." Olivia said slightly disappointed.

Everyone got back onto the party bus, but they did not factor in the early evening rush and got stuck in traffic. Normally Fitz had police escort, so traffic jams were normally not a problem. Today, however, they were regular citizens and as regular citizens, they had to wait in traffic with everyone else.

Throughout the wait both Fitz and Olivia fielded several stressed calls and text from Cyrus. It took them nearly an hour and half to make it back to the hotel despite it taking them only 30 minutes earlier that same day.

The decoy Fitz, Olivia, and Cyrus entered first, and real Olivia and Fitz entered a few minutes after still donning sunglasses and hats. They quickly changed and meet the Prime Minister in a secure conference room at the luxury hotel.

Fit extended a hand, "I am so sorry we are late . . . I was on a call with Washington that went longer than expected."

The Canadian Prime Minster extended his hand and shook Fitz's hand "Oh I didn't even notice you were late . . . you Chief of Staff and I got lost in a conversation about recent Westminster Kennel Club Show . . . we both agreed that the Beagle should have one over that German Shorthaired."

Cyrus nodded his head, "The Shorthair had no shine, no spirit, he barely completed the walk through properly . . . for him to win just shows Westminster is rigged." Cyrus was not a fan of dog shows, but his husband was and he was so thankful James dragged him to it every year and talked his ear off about Beagles.

Fitz and Stephen Harper managed to come to an agreement during that meeting and Fitz announced the trade agreement that would bring thousands of jobs back to America. This announcement helped gain support in the rust belt parts of America.

-Flashback end –

Savi shook her head, "I had no idea Cyrus was such a big fan of dog shows."

Olivia began to chuckle, "Please . . . Cyrus hate dogs . . . if he could he would ship every dog in this country to Russia and allow them to be their problem . . . one thing about Cyrus, he does his homework on people and knew Prime Minister Harper was a huge fan of dog shows."

Savi nodded her head as she took a sip of the tea Olivia offered her. "I guess Cyrus can be useful sometime . . ."

Olivia rolled her eyes as she though back to Cyrus's action just a couple hours ago of trying to trap Fitz with a baby via Alison. "Useful . . . is too generous . . . Cyrus is all for self . . . he would sell his soul to the devil if it meant four more years in the White House . . . sometime I think he wants to be President but doesn't have the personality or political credentials to make a run for himself." Olivia did not realize she said that statement in one breath, as she tried to calm herself down.

Olivia's hash tone was not lost on Savi but she decided not to push Olivia on the topic of Cyrus, and plus she was more interested in hearing about Olitz. "One thing Liv, I find it hard to believe that you and Fitz just walk around in the open and not one person took notice of who you are."

Olivia shook her head as she thought about the last few months with Fitz. "I must admit it's unbelievable to me as well, I always expect at least one person to recognize us each time we go out in public . . . but to my surprise not one person has . . . I guess it goes against logic the current president of the United States would be bowling in your local small town bowling alley wearing jeans without an army of men in black suits."

Savi nodded, "I guess that make sense . . . I just still find it really hard to believe you guy have literally been hiding in plain sight and not one person took notice of Fitz."

Olivia chuckled, "that's Americans for you . . . we are so busy living our lives we rarely really pay attention to the people around us . . . hack Fitz has even lost a President Grant look-alike contest."

- Flashback Begin -

A couple of months prior in New Orleans, LA . . .

Fitz had his arm wrapped around Olivia as they left Café du Monde near Bourbon Street.

Olivia muttered, "I seriously could not eat another beignet if I wanted too . . . they are warm, doughy amazingness . . . but I so will be hitting the gym when we get back to Washington D.C."

Fitz stopped walking and held Olivia by her waist. He lifted up the purple and gold mask that was over her face and lifted up his mask as well.

Olivia quickly reached to put back on her mask as well as Fitz's. "Fitz what are you doing . . . the amount of press present in this city for your visit; someone will recognize us without these mask."

Fitz smirked. "No they will not and even if they did I don't care . . . I really need to see your face for a minute sweet baby to say . . . I think you are the most beautiful women in the world and I love every curve on your body . . . you are perfect how you are." He leaned in and captured her lips.

They began to make-out passionately in the middle of Bourbon Street.

The first thought that came to Olivia's mind was that she needed to put the mask Fitz removed to kiss her back on. The second was that she was making out in the middle of Bourbon Street with the President of the United States for everyone to see. Despite her brain knowing how much this was a bad idea, her lips had other plans and refused to disconnect from his as she wrapped her arms around him bring her body into his. The sea of drunken coeds flashing their breast in the background to get beads faded away and all there was them.

It felt like they had made out for hours but in reality only a few minutes had passed when Olivia felt a tap at her shoulder and Tom's voice in her ear. "Hey I am sorry to interrupt . . . but we have a problem."

They disconnected from each other and gave their attention to Tom who began to speak. "Sir, I don't know how, but it was leaked to the public that you are on Bourbon Street tonight . . . I have been alerted by Jackson stationed in the north part of the street and Sean on the South of the increase sightings of members of the press . . . social media is a buzz of sightings of the president on Bourbon Street . . . but no real photos, videos or evidence of it . . . so for now it's just mere speculation."

Olivia nodded her head, being the fixer she is, Olivia had planned for a situation like this to happen. She pulled out her phone and texted Huck code Blue Jay. She turned to Tom and explained the plan, "My team is going to misdirect the reporters, but while they do that, we need to hide out somewhere until the coast is clear to leave this area undetected."

Fitz looked around. "How about we go hear some karaoke?" He pointed to the club on his right.

She nodded her head, "Ok this place will have to do . . . Tom you keep wondering around with the crowd and text updates . . . if we cannot get a clean exit you may have to create an emergency to distract while we slip away."

Fitz and Olivia walked into the semi packed club, and grabbed a table towards the back in a slightly darken corner. They ordered cocktails, as a very tall person wearing a wig came onto the stage.

Olivia immediately knew the woman was a drag queen and was not certain how Fitz would react. While she adores Fitz, she knew he grow up very privilege and some aspects of society he probably was not exposed too. Going to college at Princeton University, she often went to the New York City and have gone to tons of drag shows in the Village.

Fitz looked onto the stage and muttered. "That is a very tall woman . . . even without those high heels . . . what 6'6 or 6'7."

I nod my head, "Yeah definitely a contender for the WNBA." I joked.

The drag queen on the stage goes to introduce herself again to the crowd as a deep voice escaped her mouth. "Hello my beautiful people . . . we have a packed house tonight at Jaxs . . . My name is Za Za Berlin, and I am the most fabulous Drag Queen in this fair city of New Orleans . . . yes gawd . . . I would like to extend a special thanks to Jaxs owner, Claude . . . for allowing me to host this fundraiser show for the nonprofit Broken Wings House . . . Broken Wings is a nonprofit organization that provides housing and a community center for LGBTQ youth . . . at 12 years old, I was kicked out my house when I came out to my religious parents, I lived out on the streets and did stuff I am not proud of, to survive . . . I met Pastor Ray."

The locals in the crowd began to cheer, Pastor Ray being well known and loved in the city.

Za Za Berlin continued to tell her story. "Pastor Ray allowed me to stay in the church basement and eventually he helped a lot more people like me until there was no more room in that basement , with the help of the community, he created the Broken Wings House."

Za Za Berlin stopped for a second like she was gathering herself. "Like many things in this city, Hurricane Katrina destroyed it and claimed the life of Pastor Ray . . . myself and several other Broken Wings House alumni and have come together to rebuilt for the next generation of homeless and lost LGBTQ youth . . . Broken Wing House provided a safe haven that allowed me and many others to become successful adults . . . a portion of each drink bought will be donated to Broke Wings, as well as, you are free to put extra donations in the buckets near the door."

Fitz was quiet and had a expressionless look on his face.

Olivia bit her lip thinking he was freaked out by essentially walking into a drag show at a karaoke bar. "Uhm we can leave if you like, I am sure we can find another club if this makes you uncomfortable."

Fitz shook his head. "I am fine being here . . . I must say I have much respect for a man that could walk like that in heels that high." He joked as his face took on a serious expression. "I have not done enough to help rebuild this city as the President . . . this town has lost so much yet they still fight every day to rebuilt."

Internally Olivia let out a sigh of relief as she touched his hand. "You have done a lot to help this city rebuild with your legislation, your health care reform, and your education grants." The conversation about politics was halted as the lights in the club began to flicker.

Za Za took center stage again after stepping back stage. "Our next performer is ready, but she is going to need an audience member to assist her . . . Jade . . . oh Jade."

An olive-skinned colored man dressed in a white trench coat and a long dark curly wig came onto the stage. "Tonight Za Za call me Olivia . . . Olivia Pope."

Olivia nearly spit out her drink when she saw a drag impersonation of herself.

Fitz was amused by the sight and could not help but chuckle a little at the blush that came to Olivia's face in that moment.

Za Za smiled "Ok Ms. Pope . . . you need a President Grant huh . . . hello we need a gentleman that favors our commander-in-chief to assist us in our next performance." Za Za began to walk around the club going to the men that raised their hands.

Fitz being Fitz, he raised his hand thinking he would definitely win the President Grant look-alike contest.

Za Za came up to the table Olivia and Fitz were sitting at.

Olivia nervously bit her lip as she pulled down her mask to hide her face.

Za Za Berlin stopped for a second and rubbed her chin as she looked Fitz over. "You are a cute but our President is much taller and his shoulders are boarder . . . sorry." She goes to the next man.

Olivia could not help but chuckle at the rejected look on Fitz's face as she leaned in and whispered. "Don't worry I think you are tall enough to be the president."

Fitz shook his head and pretended to be hurt, but was a good sport when Za Za choose a man quite a bit more muscular and taller than him.

The gentleman took a sit on a chair on stage and the music began to play. The Pussycat dolls hit, 'Don't cha' came blaring out of the speakers.

Jada began to lip sync to the song and sway her hips around the stage. "I know you like me . . . I know you do . . . that's why whenever I come around . . . She's all over you . . . I know you want it . . . it's easy to see . . . and in the back of your mind . . . I know you should be over me, babe."

Jade drops the white trench coat revealing a sexy black body suit with lace, as the crowd goes wild. She made her way over to the man playing the President and began to give him a sexy lap dance as she sings slightly altered lyrics. "Don't cha wish your wife was hot like me . . . don't cha wish your wife was a freak like me . . . don't cha, Mr. President . . . don't cha . . . don't cha wish your wife was raw like me . . . don't cha wish your wife was fun like me . . . don't cha, Mr. President . . . don't cha."

Olivia blushed heavily during this entire performance but could not help but laugh slightly. She wished, however, she was portrayed as more than Fitz's mistress.

Fitz was amused by the performance cheering along with the crowd. He accepted a long time ago that his relationship with Olivia would be a part of his legacy and he had no problem with everyone thinking he got the hots for Olivia Pope . . . because it was definitely the truth. He smiled as he wrapped his arm around Olivia to hold her close.

Their good night at Jaxs, however ended, when they got the text, the coast was clear at the South end of Bourbon Street. They quickly got into a waiting car driven by Sean and return to the hotel.

Olivia's team managed to post some well-created Photoshop photos of Olivia and Fitz at the New Orleans campaign headquarters all evening, and they created multiple social media accounts with false information about seeing the President at this location and at another location . . . which made it seemed like the leaked information about the President being on Bourbon Street was false because he could not be at 20 different locations and but the only actual photos out him are at the New Orleans headquarters.

Next Day . . .

The schedule was packed with mostly pre-scheduled public outings at different famous restaurants and New Orleans tourist spots. Despite the very packed schedule, Fitz insisted on making an additional stop while in the 9th Ward.

At the time, Olivia did not think too much of the additional stop, being too busy handling a million other things that morning.

Fitz personally arranged for secret service to clear this additionally location for an official visit.

Later that same day . . .

The president's SUV stopped in front of a house that appeared to be in construction.

Olivia saw a sign that read "Broken Wing House" that hang over the front of the house. She gave Fitz a look.

Cyrus also gave Fitz a look as the three of them sat in the car. Leo Bergen remained at the hotel feeling ill after having gumbo at an earlier stop at a restaurant on Bourbon Street.

Cyrus broke the silence. "Uhm I know you wanted to stop here Fitz, but this look unsafe . . . a strong wind could blow this place down.

Fitz shook his head, "It survived Hurricane Katrina, I am pretty certain a strong wind will not level it . . . now come on we have a schedule to keep. Fitz was the first to exit to the car followed by his agents.

Cyrus and Olivia slowly got out the car and were a few steps behind him. Cyrus looked at Olivia and raised an eyebrow. "This was your doing wasn't it . . . you are the reason we are at this should-be abandoned home."

Olivia rolled her eyes. "Fitz is his own man and did his own research and wanted to come here . . . it was cleared by secret service, so it cannot be that bad." Olivia walked up to catch up with Fitz as he knocked on the door.

A teen-aged boy answered the door. "Broken Wing House . . . how may I help you?" Flashes of cameras that began to flicker blinded the boy.

As soon as, Fitz's SUV left the hotel this morning at least four reporters followed, capturing everything he did.

A voice of a man shouted from an unknown room inside the house. "Jamie, who is it?"

The teen-aged boy turned to Fitz. "Uhm Sir what is your name." The boy tried to remain as formal as he could, knowing this guy must be someone important with all the securities and reporters surrounding him.

Fitz smiled. "I am President Fitzgerald Grant the III, Jamie it is . . . it's very nice to meet you." Fitz extended his hand to shake the teenager's hand.

Jamie shook his hand, but had a shocked look on his face, barely able to speak.

A tall black man came to the door to see what all the commotion was and his eyes widen, as well, immediately recognizing Fits in his suit and secret service around him.

Fitz smiled recognizing the man that stood in front of him as Za Za Berlin from the club last night. "I am so sorry to drop in on you like this, my security spoke to someone name Elliot about doing a tour of the Broken Wing House."

The man shook his head, "yes he is one of the director of this place and failed to tell the rest us you were coming President Grant . . . we would have prepared more for your visit . . . my name is Robert Harper . . . please come in."

Fitz, Cyrus, the agents, and Olivia all walked inside closing the reporters outside. Fitz looked around at the partially reconstructed home.

Robert smiled nervously as he explained the history of the Broken Wing House, a story Fitz and Olivia partially heard last night.

They walked through the house and met several of the formerly homeless gay youth that lived in the home and heard their stories.

Fitz listened intently to each person's story and came off very personable.

After the tour ended, everyone ended up in the business office that was in a room just left of the living room.

Robert showed Fitz the blueprint of the additions; they hope to make to the Broken Wing House to accommodate more people. Robert excitedly talked about buying the home next door that was abandon after Hurricane Katrina and how it is now owned by the bank.

Fitz, Olivia, and Cyrus spend almost two hours at Broken Wing House before leaving.

In the coming weeks, the publicity from Fitz visit resulted in donations coming from all over to the nonprofit.

Olivia read in a newspaper, a month later, an anonymous private trust brought the home next to the nonprofit, and donated it to the nonprofit to ensure Broken Wing would not only continue but also expand.

- Flashback end -

Savi smirked, "Private trust . . . I suspect my brother had something to do with that purchase . . . I did notice some activity on the Grant family trust log a few months ago."

Olivia began to laugh. "I also suspected your brother and when I asked him about it . . . he denied it and said as a sitting president he could not personally make such a donation . . . tax payer would have his head."

Savi laughed, "So he used the family trust to do it . . . clever and so generous . . . definitely did not get those qualities from Big Gerry."

Olivia shook her head, "Yeah he has a huge heart . . . to do it in such anonymous way, not receiving any publicity or political credit for it . . . he truly is a once in a lifetime kind of politician . . . they don't make them like him anymore."

Savi nodded agreeing. "Yeah but that part of your story where he literally lost a look-alike contest was hilarious."

Olivia yawned slightly. "Yeah I guess most people in this country wouldn't recognize the President even if he was literally in front of me."

Savi saw sunlight beginning to creep through the blinds of Olivia's condo, "That yawn is my q . . . I should be going . . . I think I got enough detail to satisfy me for now . . . but Liv this is definitely an on-going conversation." Savi shook her head. "7 month . . . 7 months you two were together." She shook her head still unable believe she did not pick up on it sooner.

Olivia smirked. "This isn't our first rodeo in hiding our relationship but now that you know you cannot go shouting it front the roof tops."

Savi laughed as she slid on her jacket, "Don't worry I'll save that for my brother to do." She hugged Olivia, as the pair exit the condo and Olivia walked Savi to the waiting car.

Olivia watched the car pull off as the sun began to get brighter. She sighed slightly, she was happy they didn't have to tip toe around Savi anymore, but with each new person that found out, that also meant the ability to be in their little bubble was less likely.
