Even more moons have passed and it was time to stuff me into the nursery.

I didn't complain. I actually liked the nursery, and I didn't have to sit around all day waiting for Oakfur to report to me about every little thing that happened on the patrols.

My belly was huge now, and I spent every waking moment having my belly torn up my kittens in my belly.

Applefur congratulated me about being a big fat hulking pregnant cat sitting in the nursery. Even though I was happy about being a queen now, I still had dreams of the human world. Every time I closed my eyes, I reawaken in the hospital, still on life support and stranded alone in the darkness while doctors marveled at how I'm even alive.

Sometimes I actually dreamed of darkness and have a peaceful sleep, but for the most part, I wake up as a human named Autumn.

In the morning after the doctors have ran some tests on me, I yawned loudly and gasped when I found Stemkit sleeping on top of me.

I grinned and let him sleep there. Applefur's kits are definitely mischievous, but you got to love them.

Starlingwing walked inside of the nursery with a large frog hanging from his jaws. I grinned and stooped down to eat it.

"You're very large." He commented.

I rolled my eyes. "Thanks for pointing that out, mouse-brain."

"Large is beautiful." He sang.

I touched my nose to him and smiled even wider. "What do you think the kits will look like?"

"There's no way telling." He said shrugging. "But is there any name ideas you got?" He laid down next to me and wrapped his paw around my neck.

I leaned on him and sighed. "I'm sure that one of them will inherit your ginger fur, and I'm hoping to name that one after a certain tom I know."

Starlingwing nodded in understanding. We stayed there nestled together for a while as we ate the frog.

Then I suddenly heard Applefur's voice say, "I've never seen Fallenstar be so mushy before."

"Speak for yourself, I see you nuzzling Smokefoot all the time." I retaliated to her.

She blinked and blushed. "Y-Yeah…"

Starlingwing moved away from me and said, "Oakfur assigned me for a dusk patrol. I'd bring you along but… you know."

I nodded.

"I'll be back around moonrise." He promised heading out of the den.

I looked down at my large cream and brown belly. I was a rather large she-cat, no doubt about it. I rubbed my belly with my paw, surprised by how smooth it felt. Then I suddenly felt a kit kick the lining. I snorted. That's probably going to be Flamekit.

I darted awake when a doctor injected a needle into my arm without warning. I stared up at his masked face and growled, "Comas aren't contagious."

"We were in another medical room." He reasoned. He took out the needle from the crook of my arm. He nodded, "That ought to keep you awake for a while."

I felt my eyes begin to blaze with fury as I hissed, "I don't want to stay awake. I want sleep!"

"No way you're sleeping now. We're tired of putting feeding tubes down your throat. You are going to eat a proper meal and talk to visitors."

"Screw that."

"It was adrenaline, that stuff will keep you awake for hours on end." Then he left the room.

I crossed my arms angrily and stared at the wall. A moment later, my old math teacher, Mrs. Johnson, came into the room. I glared at her and she seemed surprised. She walked forward and set a basket of cards on my lap.

"These were made by every kid in the entire school." She said stepping back, "They were made in the first few months of your coma. The principal has told everyone that was in your classes that you're awake now. Most are in high school now, but it's fine."

She winked and walked out of the room,

"Be prepared for some boys to give you some flowers."

I blushed when she shut the door. Darn, freaking boys with their freaking flowers.

A nurse has given me a lunch tray with pancakes and waffles and a tall glass of water. I horked it all down quickly, not bothering to clean my face with a napkin. I heard a quiet knock on the door and I said with my mouth full of food for them to come in.

I cleaned my face with a napkin and looked up to see him. It was the boy that I have told Flametail I used to have a crush on. He was a little shorter than me, and he wore thick framed glasses. He had shaggy brown hair with highlights of purple. He wore a blue jacket rolled up to the sleeves and normal blue jeans.

He was carrying flowers. Here's the worst part, I remembered how he looked, but I don't remember what his name was.

"What's your name?" I asked.

"Justin." He said.

I blinked. "Sorry. I forgot."

We stood there awkwardly. He set down the yellow carnations on the edge of my bed and sat down. He looked me in the eye and said, "I heard about your crazy cat dreams."

I glared.

"The warrior world your mother told me. It seems crazy."

"So are you!" I snapped wanting to cry, "That world means everything to me. As soon as I close my eyes, I'm on a crazy adventure with romance, suspense, murder and cats. Lots of cats."

"You really like cats, don't you?"

I glared, picked up the bouquet of flowers and threw them at him. He gasped and ducked as they hit the wall. He looked back at me now seething with rage. "You'll never understand, no one ever will." I cried out, "Just get out! I don't ever want to see your face again!"

I narrowed my eyes as he darted out of the room and I looked at my life support machine. What if I kill myself? Will I still be alive in the warriors world? Will I still be Fallenstar? Or is Fallenstar linked to Autumn?

I wanted to go to sleep and talk to everyone, and maybe even tell Starlingwing about my dilemma.

Then I realized, what if I'm suddenly giving birth to the kits while I'm awake? That will create a huge problem, and I'll probably even die from the ordeal.

I slumped down and felt wide awake as ever. I needed to sleep, I needed to tell Starlingwing what's going on with the human world and the worry about the kits.

Am I asleep in the nursery right now? Is Applefur trying to shake me awake while Birchkit scrambled all over me?

I made a decision. I had to force myself to sleep, even if it kills me. I forced myself to stand up, but quickly fell down. I growled and suddenly felt pain shoot through my head. I cried out in pain and screamed as loud as I could, the pain growing more and more.

After a few more screams, a nurse scrambled in and saw me lying on the floor. She sighed and lifted me back up onto the bed. She seemed exasperated and tired, like she's been dealing with little kids getting their shots before school started up again.

"You shouldn't pull yourself out of the bed like that." Scolded the nurse, "you are hooked up to a life support machine. You have serious heart and brain damage, so if you were unplugged to that machine, you would die. Don't be so stupid next time. What did you want anyway?"

I glanced at the lightswitch and said, "I wanted to turn off the lights."

"To sleep? Oh no, the doctors have told me about your unnatural sleep patterns. We are going to force you to stay awake."

"You don't understand." I hissed, "I need to sleep." I quickly searched my mind for some crazy excuse. "I-I need to sleep because without my normal prescription, I'd get sleep deprivation. It's a serious thing, I need to sleep, now!"

The nurse clamped her hand over my mouse as I cried out and she shushed me. She looked around and said reluctantly, "Fine, I'll shut off the stupid light for you. If the doctors ask why you're asleep, I had nothing to do with it, understand? You know that I have a job that I want to keep."

"Oh, so nurses do have a heart after all." I said cheekily.

"Shut. Up." She enunciated each word as she slapped her hand on the light switch, "Just be quiet and go to sleep."

I thanked her as she slammed the door, grumbling on the way out. I resisted the adrenaline and shut my eyes tightly, happy to welcome the darkness.

But the medication prevented me from my wanted sleep that I was hoping to achieve. I have tossed in turn, hoping to resist the adrenaline pulsing through my body.

It was like I was fighting a neutral battle that I only had a one in a million chance of winning.

Finally, I won that tiny chance.

I woke up in the nursery with a kit kicking furiously at my belly. I could already tell that one was going to be feisty.

"Fallenstar finally woke up!" Gasped Twigkit scrambling over to me. He leaped on top of me and growled, "You're the old badger attacking the camp that wants to gobble up all the warriors!"

"Twigstar comes to save the day!" Cried out Birchkit, "And I, Birchclaw, the great and powerful deputy, shall fight off that badger!"

"Don't forget about me!" Gasped out Stemkit wriggling out of Applefur's paws, "I will be Stemfalcon!"

"Stemfalcon is such a stupid name." Taunted Birchkit.

"Stemfalcon sounds like such a wonderful name." Purred Applefur, "Although, it looks like Fallenstar is going to have some tough competition from Twigstar." Then she grinned and looked up at me, smiling.

I will definitely have some competition if the Clan doesn't see me as a fit leader if they found out my paws standing in both worlds.
