Gray turned to face the door as he heard it creak open. Tamaki entered the room, casually as ever.
"It's a refreshing surprise to see you as the first person here," Tamaki said, smiling.
"What were you up to yesterday?" Gray casually asked.
"I was home sick. I hadn't been feeling to well this week."
"That's too bad to hear," Gray said, assessing the situation in his mind.
"Oh my," Tamaki said noticing Ella asleep on a couch. He drifted toward her asking, "Is she okay?"
"She's just taking a nap. Schools really been wearing her out lately."
"I hope she's feeling alright," Tamaki said, concerned.
"Ask her yourself," Gray said gesturing toward Ella. "I'm surprised she's still asleep. I figured her to be more of a light sleeper."
"Oh, no. I couldn't. Once the twins or Hunney arrive, she will definitely not be able to sleep through that."
"It is usually pretty hectic in here," Gray nodded in agreement.
The door opened again. Next to arrive for the day was Kyoya. He was in a world of his own as he entered, thinking of business. He hadn't looked up or given Tamaki and Gray any acknowledgement whatsoever. He strolled into the room, head in the clouds and went to sit down and write down the figures running through his head.
"Ow!" Ella moaned as Kyoya accidently sat on her.
Kyoya was pulled from his own world. He hadn't even noticed what had just occurred before Ella had called out.
"You okay, Ella?" Gray called over his shoulder, not overly cocerned.
"I prefer not to be woken up by being sat on," Ella said, sitting up, rubbing her eyes.
Tamaki was instantly scolding Kyoya despite it being an accident, "That's not how the members of the Host Club act!"
"Calm down," Gray mediated.
"You're so dramatic," Ella said, leaning her head on her fist. She was still exhausted and looked as though she was about to fall asleep again.
"Who's dramatic?" Hikaru said as he walked into the club room followed by Kaoru.
"Who do you think?" Ella said sarcastically.
"Point taken," Kaoru said as the twins sat next to Ella, one on either side.
Ella couldn't keep her eyes open any longer. Her eyes closed and she fell asleep leaning on her hand. The screams she'd been hearing were taking a lot out of her including her energy and magical power.
"Is she okay?" Hikaru asked the others after Ella's head slipped out of her hand and into her lap.
"She's fine," Gray said, "I think."
"That's reassuring," Kyoya said, writing out some figures.
"At least let her lie comfortably," Tamaki said dramatically as he instructed the twins to move Ella, spreading her across the entire couch.
The door opened revealing Haruhi who instantly asked, "What happened?"
"She's just tired," Gray assured.
"Where are Hunney and Mori?" Haruhi asked.
"Hm," Tamaki thought, "where are they? They're normally here by now."
"Should I go look for them?" Haruhi offered.
"Gray, you go," Tamaki ordered.
