Daughter of the Deadman II

Hey, all. Back with another chapter. Kinda a short one, but I wanted to leave you all with a cliffie at the end. I've also been playing a lot of Video Games lately since it's been my Christmas Holidays and I've needed a lot of relaxation. And that's my other way to relax. Besides, I don't get the chance to really play them when I'm at school. I hope everyone out there had a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Welcome to 2014 guys!

Alright, gotta send a super huge thanks to Randy's Viper Girl for helping me out. Thanks also to: blackbear1020, Wolfgirl2013, kakashishot, Cena's baby doll, tomwilliams1990, and deadmanwalking55 for their reviews.

With that, I'll see you at the bottom.

Chapter 53: The Night Before...

There was only twenty four hours until Wrestlemania and everyone was feeling a combination of things. Wyatt and Lea were excited, Angel and Kristy were scared about what would happen the next night and the others couldn't help but feel a little worried, not for their own matches, but more for Taker. The bright spot in all this was that Angel was slowly getting back to her old self. She had even felt well enough to make her appearance at Axcess with her Daddy and Kristy.

She had done the autograph signing and then contributed to the Art Auction just like she had done for the last two Wrestlemanias. Then she had taken Lea and Wyatt to see Undertaker's Graveyard and had taken them inside Hell in a Cell so that they could at least see the place where Taker was going to fight the next night, although she had reminded them that it was different when you were fighting in there, it made them feel better. It had been a very busy and fun week and they had capped it all off with the Hall of Fame Ceremony. Yokozuna, Ron Simmons, Mike Tyson, and Mil Mascaras had all been inducted, but the highlight of everyone's night was Adam's Induction.

The Ceremony was over and done now and everyone was back at the hotel. Angel was walking down the hallway of the hotel in her pyjama bottoms and a black t-shirt. Everyone else was asleep in the hotel room, but she had woken up and grabbed some change to get a drink at the vending machine at the end of the hallway. She figured she would be alright on her own since it wasn't a far walk.

She sighed as she put the money into the vending machine. She couldn't wait for this to be over and done. As much as she loved the fans, the road, and wrestling, it was stressful and she couldn't wait to go home and sleep in her own bed. Angel reached down and picked up the can of Coca Cola that had come out. She stood up and started to walk back to the hotel room.

Suddenly, she felt the hair on the back of her neck stand up. Someone had to be watching her. Her first instinct was to run back to the room as fast as she could. However, before she could react, someone reached out and grabbed her. Angel struggled, but she couldn't get away. Whoever had hold of her placed a wet cloth over her face. She started to feel dizzy instantly. Her last thought before everything went black was that she was being subdued with chloroform.

The next morning, Kristy woke up first. She yawned and stretched and then moved Wyatt carefully out of the way. He had apparently climbed into bed with her at some point. She looked over to the other bed, expecting to see Angel sleeping there with Lea curled up beside her, but instead she got a shock. Lea was alone. Kristy tried not to panic. She wondered if Angel was out in the main room, already awake. She got up went out to find Taker and Kane already awake. She took a deep breath.

"Guys? Have you seen Ang?" she asked.

"She's still in bed." Taker said.

"No, she's not. I just got up and she's not there I thought maybe she was up already...but..." Kristy said.

"Where the hell would she go, Big Brother?" Kane asked.

"I don't know. Angel's not one to just get up and wander away...unless...oh, my God." Taker said.

"What?" Kristy asked.

"Maybe Hunter came in here in the middle of the night..." Taker said.

"No way! If someone had come in the room I would have woken up!" Kristy said.

"What if she got up in the night and went out?" Kane asked.

"That doesn't make sense. Where the heck would she go?" Kristy asked.

"There's a vending machine at the end of the hallway. Maybe she got up and went to get a drink or something." Taker said.

"That sort of makes sense. The only time Ang ever drinks water is when she's working out, training or at a show...other then that she usually drinks Coke. Or Sprite." Kristy said.

"OK. So...if she did go there...something must have happened." Kane said.

"Hunter?" Kristy asked.

"I...hope not." Taker said.

"Is there a way to find out?" Kristy asked.

"Kristy can use her guardian powers to tell can't she, Big Brother?" Kane said.

"I don't know. I don't really know much about Guardian powers. Bethy knows more then me about that." Taker said.

"Wait...Uncle Taker, if we call Aunt Beth can she go and find Ang for us? Or at least tell us what happened? I'm sure she was around. She had to have seen it." Kristy said.

"That's a good point, Big Brother." Kane said.

"Right. Um...Bethy, I hate to ask this, but we're in need of help here." Taker said.

Beth appeared right on cue. She already looked upset and Taker wondered if she had actually seen what had happened to Angel. Kristy quickly explained what had happened. Beth just nodded.

"I already know." she said.

"What happened?!" Taker asked.

"Kristy is right. It was Hunter. He kidnapped her while she was grabbing a drink." Beth said.

"Where is she? What has he done with her? And how did he get hold of her?! She hasn't let her guard down since she started feeling better!" Taker snapped.

"Mark, calm down. You're right. Angel hasn't let her guard down since she started feeling better. She knew that Hunter was following her. If it wasn't for the chloroform..." Beth started.

"WHAT?!" Kane and Taker shouted.

"Figures Hunter would do something like that! That bastard!" Kristy snapped.

"Is she alright?" Taker asked.

"When I left, she was still out of it from the chloroform, but he hasn't done anything to her." Beth said.

"She's still out of it? What did he do? Spike the drink or something?" Kristy asked.

"No, it was a heavy dose." Beth said.

"He's waiting...he wants something out of this. I can feel it." Kristy said.

"He wants the win handed to him. He plans to use her tonight. How I don't know, but he will. Mark, just wait it out alright? I'm sure that he doesn't want to hurt her this time." Beth said.

"Jen probably gave him the idea to do this. Beth is right. We've got a better chance of getting Angel back tonight during my brother's match." Kane said.

"Fine! But I don't have to like this!" Taker snapped.

"Uncle Taker..." Kristy said.

"I know, Kristy. But Kane and Beth are both right. I know he doesn't want to hurt Angel. And it'll be easier for you all to get her back tonight during my match." Taker said.

"So we're just leaving her there?!" Kristy asked.

"Unfortunately." Taker said.

"That's just great." Kristy said.

"I don't like it either, Kristy." Taker said.

"Me either." Kane said.

Just then, Lea screamed. Then she came running out of the room, crying. Wyatt followed behind her, looking sleepy. Lea went running right to Taker. She was crying so much that Taker couldn't understand what she was saying. Wyatt walked over to Kristy and stood behind her, poking his head out. He had never seen Lea act like this.

"Little One, you need to breathe and think before you talk." Taker said.

"S-Something b-bad happen...I w-wake up...and...A-Angel...gone...Daddy..." Lea said.

"I know, Little One." Taker said.

"W-Where s-she g-go?" Lea asked.

"Lea, the man that's fighting me...he took Angel away last night. We don't know why, but we know that she's alright though. Beth has been with her." Taker said.

"Mama Bef keep Angel safe?" Lea asked.

"Well, Lea, she's been asleep this whole time, but when she wakes up, I'll try and keep her safe. Promise." Beth said.

"Tay..." Lea said, wiping her tears away.

"Mommy..." Wyatt said.

"What is it, Wyatt?" Kristy asked.

"Aunt Angel hurt?" Wyatt asked.

"No, Wyatt. She's fine. The man just used something to put her to sleep and she's not awake yet, but I'm sure she'll wake up soon." Kristy said.

"Tay, Mommy." Wyatt said.

"I'm just glad that Hunter can't see you, Bethy." Taker said.

"I almost wish he could." Kane growled.

"Don't say it, Uncl...I mean Kane." Kristy said.

"You almost called him Uncle." Taker said.

"That was weird..." Kane said.

"I know." Kristy said.

"She's never almost called him Uncle before. Then again, Kane looks at her like a niece." Beth said.

Kristy blushed. Beth laughed at her and so did Taker and Kane. Beth announced that she had to go back and see if Angel was still alright. Lea and Wyatt asked her to tell Angel that they loved her. Bethany nodded and left, going back to the arena's boiler room. Angel was awake now and she had a blanket wrapped around her. However, Beth could see that she was upset.

"Angel Baby..." she said.

"Mama...I don't feel so well. I feel sick. I...don't know how I got here." Angel said.

"Triple H used chloroform on you and brought you here. It's no wonder you don't feel so great." Beth said.

"I'm not helping him beat Daddy. I won't do it! I refuse to do it! Daddy's not losing his streak to that asshole because of me! There's no way!" Angel said.

"I know, Angel Baby. I know." Beth said.

Just then, the door to the boiler room opened and Hunter came in. Angel coward back in fear. The last time they had come face to face with each other, she had been beaten up. She was shaking. She backed as far as she could to get away from him.

"Get away from me." she said, not to be scared.

"Oh, Daddy's little girl is scared, is she?" Hunter asked.

"Maybe..." Angel whispered.

"Well, you should be because if you don't help me beat your Daddy, something bad will happen." Hunter said.

"Forget it! My father is not losing his streak because of me! Go to hell, Triple H." Angel snapped without hesitating.

"Fine then. I guess something bad will happen to you." Hunter snapped.

"Fine. I don't care. I'm not going to be the reason that my Dad goes nineteen and one. You want this victory so badly, Hunter? Earn it for once in your life!" Angel snapped.

"Then I guess you'll pay the price for it." Hunter said.

"I don't care. Be a man for once. Win it yourself." Angel snapped at him.

"Do you really think you can trick me like your old man?" Hunter asked.

"What makes you think I'd be tricking you?" Angel asked.

"Oh, come on now, Angel. You are your father's daughter." Hunter said.

"I'm honestly not trying to trick you. My point is that you can do whatever the hell you want to do to me—weather you do it right now or tonight—I'm still not going to help you beat my Dad. Be a man and do it yourself." Angel snapped at him.

"Oh, I'll do it myself, but you're still going to help even if you don't do it of your own free will." Hunter said.

"Yeah, well, I'll never do anything to help you at all." Angel said.

"I wouldn't place a bet on that, Angel." Hunter said.

Just then, the door opened again and to Angel's complete shock, Jennifer came in. Angel was amazed. She looked a lot better then she had the last time Angel had seen her. Angel tried to back up more, but there was nowhere that she could go. She didn't like this.

"Jennifer, look after this brat for me. I have business to attend to." Hunter said.

"Thanks, Uncle Hunter. My first day back and I get stuck babysitting a whinny baby." Jen said.

"Don't worry. It'll all be worth it." Hunter said.

"It had better be." Jen said.

"Well, well, still doing Uncle Hunter's dirty work I see." Angel snapped.

"Hey, if it means that the Deadman loses at a Wrestlemania, then I'll do all the dirty work I have to for him." Jen snapped.

"And what about your Dad?" Angel asked.

"Poor Dad. He's so wrapped up in his own little world that he doesn't pay attention to what I do. He's going to be just as shocked as everyone else is tonight." Jen said with a laugh.

"You know, Jen, I find it hard to believe that your Dad doesn't pay attention. I think you put on a good girl image in front of him and when you're away from him...that's when your real self comes out." Angel said.

"No one asked you, you little brat." Hunter snapped.

"Oh, please. Shawn is a smart man. Smarter then anyone gives him credit for. Everyone knows he was the brains behind D-Generation-X. You just rode his coat tails. Like Bret said, you would never be who you are if you hadn't rode Shawn's coat tails and slept your way to the top." Angel snapped.

Hunter fumed. Jennifer reached over and punched Angel in the face. She hadn't expected it and she dropped to the floor. Angel just laid there, dazed. Hunter laughed and told Jen to keep Angel in line and he would be back later to make sure everything was alright. Then he left. Jen walked over and picked Angel up. She threw her into the wall. Angel just laid there. It wasn't long before Beth's arms went around her. Jen walked away to go and stand by the door.

"Maybe I should just help him..." Angel whispered to her Mom.

"No, Angel Baby, the others are coming to get you tonight. Your Dad is working on a plan with them now. Don't worry. You won't have to help him." Beth said.

"I hope I don't. Are they...is everyone else OK?" Angel asked.

"Your Dad is so angry he almost blew up. Kristy is pacing around the room. Lea and Wyatt are very upset too." Beth said.

"What about Uncle? Is he OK?" Angel asked.

"When I left he seemed alright, but I can tell he's not." Beth said.

Angel nodded. There was nothing she could do now but wait for everyone to come through for her again. She hated this and couldn't help but feel that she was burdening them and that if her Dad lost that night, it would be all her fault.

Well, that's all for this one. Haven't done a cliffie in a long time. I hope you all like it. Please Leave a review. Bye!~Taker's Soul Girl
