Rain: And here I am with a brand new chapter! People have been asking me why I made the Sandaime this way and truth be told, it is something I always thought he was capable of doing. I mean, I don't hate him and I like how people portray him as a loving grandfather who makes the right choices for Naruto.

But the canon Sarutobi pisses me off to no end.

It's just he made so many mistakes that have hindered Naruto's growth time and again in canon.

He could have easily decided that no one should know this secret and let Naruto have a good life without the constant struggles the adults put in front of him.

Another thing, why didn't he tell Naruto of his mother at least?

I could get why he didn't want to tell Naruto about the Yondaime being his father but why couldn't he tell him about his mom?

No one would have known she was the previous container of the Kyūbi and I'm sure not many people would have known about her relationship with the Yondaime outside of the village so why keep her a secret?

Another issue I have with the Sandaime is that why would he let Naruto suffer under the supreme hate of the villagers in the first place? When they didn't outright neglect him, the villagers gave him outdated food at outrageous prices and maybe even did other darker things.

If the Hokage wanted to do something, he would have either taken him in himself or found a family that did not care about what Naruto held inside of him to take care of him instead of really letting him fend for himself.

And he's the Hokage, the strongest person in that village with a damn near control of all, what could have honestly stopped him? And no one would have opposed. The Hokage controlling the Kyūbi child? They would have respected him more than they already did if he had done it.

It would have shown that he had control over the situation.

Also, let's go on that topic. Couldn't have the "Professor" have had his own shinobi shop for the boy's food and clothes? That would have eliminated the need for Naruto to have to suffer with horrible clothes and outdated food.

So many steps could have been taken to make things easier for him but Sarutobi did not do any of it. It just shows how much of failed "Grandfather" he was to our orange wearing teen but the reason I think he did all of this is something I will touch on later in this story.

I'm sorry for the rant but this is things that honestly pissed me off about the canon Sandaime. So now with that done, sit back, relax and enjoy!

Mario: Here we go!

Reaper's Blood: Reincarnated

Chapter Fifty

"Naruto-Kun…"

Naruto squirmed when he heard the voice while closing his eyes tightly, feeling the gentle warmth around his entire being; as if he was being embraced but instead of being afraid of this odd sensation, he felt at peace…he felt protected and most of all, he felt love from this gentle hear.

"Wake up Naruto-kun," then he blinked and opened his eyes to find himself staring up at a blue sky with white petals floating over his eyes.

"Déjà vu…" Naruto said as he leaned his body off the ground and looked around before blinking in surprise. Instead of being in the Forest of Death, he found himself sitting in an open field with a beautiful blue sky with white clouds that had white petals soaring all around.

Naruto instantly knew this place.

"Wait…It can't be…I'm in the Tamashii Nohara (Soul field)…" Naruto whispered softly.

The last time he had been in this place, he had died and had to fight his mother to return to life. But he wasn't dead because back then, his body had felt lighter and felt freer than he did now.

Looking down, Naruto wasn't in the clothes he was in the first time he came here, he was still in his torn orange jumpsuit and black shirt so he had have been alive.

If not, he would have been wearing that white shirt, those white pants and the white fingerless gloves that had a gold spiral etched into it but that still made him question.

If he wasn't dead, then why was he here?

"Why am I here?" Naruto asked with confusion glowing in his blue eyes.

"Because I called you here, my son," A familiar voice rang out, causing Naruto to immediately turn around to see his mother, Uzumaki Kushina staring at him with a warm but sad smile, a faint trail of tears on her cheeks. "It took a lot of energy for me to do it but I'm glad I managed to summon you here…" She whispered softly.

As he did the first time they met, Naruto could not stop the tears that flowed down at the sight of his unnaturally beautiful mother, her red hair flowing in the wind as her blue eyes stared at him as if he was the most important thing in this world to her.

Unable to stop himself, Naruto rushed to his mother and embraced her tightly, something she returned quickly. "My Sochi…" She whispered tearfully as tears fell down her own face. "I'm so sorry…"

"Why are your apologizing?" Naruto asked, freeing himself from his mother's chest briefly to stare up at her with watery blue eyes.

"I should have told you about your sister and Kuroi the moment you appeared here…" Kushina whispered while she hugged her son tightly to her once again.

"Don't blame yourself Okaa-san," Naruto replied sternly with a weak smile. "You were busy trying to save my life at the time. No, this is the old man's fault," Naruto exclaimed with anger laced in his voice.

Oh yes, Naruto felt betrayed earlier by the man but now he was just straight up furious at him.

It was unfair.

Kuroi and his sister should have not have been hidden from him.

He would have been less upset if the old man just told him but instead, he just hide them away like sweeping dirt under the rug well now that Naruto had found that dirt, he had to see what else was hidden from him in his life.

But then he blinked.

How did his mother know his sister and his replica was hidden from him?

Kushina gave a small laugh when he voiced this question and said "I've been watching you every day since I passed, Naruto-kun. Same with your sister and Kuroi."

Naruto lowered his head, remembering the shinobi he had fought and asked "So was he telling truth? Is he truly my replica?"

Kushina nodded in response, a frown gracing her beautiful face before she said "He was. Every word of it was true…"

"I…I see…" Naruto whispered softly.

"I know it hurts my Sochi…It hurt me watching what had happened…" Kushina whispered while shutting her eyes, squeezing Naruto closer. "It pained me to see all three of you in pain throughout your lives without me or your father there…All I wanted was to hold you all to me."

Hearing the pain in her wavering voice, Naruto shut his eyes as tears renewed in his eyes as he said "I'm sorry you hurt," while hugging her just as tightly.

It was then the mother and son embraced each other as they wept.

One for the constant betrayals and the other for the pain of her children.

Konohagakure no Sato

Forest of Death

"How the hell did this happen?!"

Haku and Fū stared at both Ino and the Byakugan activated Hinata, both of their eyes glowing in downright fury at the fact Naruto was found like this in this state.

During their trek to the tower, the team of Fū and Haku, led by little Iru, were spotted by Team Eight and Team Ten with the unconscious Team Seven near them and before they could get out anything, Ino and Hinata were the ones to spot the unconscious Uzumaki.

And speaking of the Uzumaki, Naruto was seen slung over Fū's left shoulder with her left arm around him to keep him held. "We don't know. One minute we were about to fight some thugs and the next, Naruto disappeared. Little Iru was the one that led us to him."

"But who could do that? It only takes shinobi in like the Jōnin rank to take him down," Ino said with a frown on her face, remembering his battle with Yukimura and his retelling of his battle with Zabuza.

While he could face shinobi down at his rank, facing Jōnin or samurai in that range of skill was not a good mix with Naruto. Considering he was still a genin was a very good reason why that was as well.

"Whatever the case," Shino interrupted before either Hinata or Ino were to speak. "Naruto-san is injured and we are still a few hours away from the tower. We need to get there soon."

"I agree," Hinata responded while deactivating her Byakugan and turned to the others. "While we sit here and dilly-dally, many of the other teams are getting to the tower now. We must move and we must move fast. We can deal with how Naruto-kun got injured when we get there…Not to mention the getting Sai-san and the Uchiha there as well."

Haku and Fū looked to see the unconscious Team Seven but when Fū looked closer, she could see some dark chakra pouring from his shoulder.

'What is that?' She thought to herself with a frown on her face.

"No idea…" a smooth, male voice replied within her with a confused tone in his voice. "Whatever the case Fū, it's evil…It's barely in the seal. How unlucky…"

'We need to be wary of the kid if he has something like that flowing outside of his seal,' Fū responded with a wary look at Sasuke's direction but to her surprise, a rather low but cheerful laugh echoed throughout her mind, causing her to ask 'What's so funny?'

"You know, many lucky people would say the same about us and the unconscious blond." Fū looked a little embarrassed by this and gave a small chuckle as well.

'Chōmei, you are in the seal. Your chakra is not leaking out of your seal like a water faucet,' Fū countered with a small grin, causing the voice to laugh once again.

"I suppose you're right but luckily, we were able to catch it when we did so we'll need to…I have to say, those Kikaichū have been talking about us since we encountered them in wave. I'm lucky to have so many nice females calling for me." Fū rolled her eyes but gave a small smile at her tailed beast.

At least someone was happy in this place.

Speaking of Kikai, Fū turned to Shino, who was leaning against a tree nearby and asked him "Is there anyway your Kikai can find a quicker way to the tower?"

Shino glanced at her and gave a small nod before saying "I have had them throughout the forest since the very start. We are on the quickest route…"

"Good, because we need a couple of guides and you pussies will be our way to it!"

Turning around, the five teams turned to see Tayuya, Kin and Karin standing on the tree branches, Kin and Karin staring at the smirking Tayuya, who had her hands on her hips proudly.

"What? You guys never see a hot bitch before?" Tayuya asked with a smirk on her face.

"Well…I see a bitch…Not a hot one," Shikamaru replied with a blank face, only to be hit in the face by a rock, causing him to grab his face and groans, yelling "Ow!"

"That wasn't nice Tayu-chan," Kin said with a frown on her face, unaware of Haku and Hinata's ears perking at the name then turning to look at the girl.

Did that long haired girl say the red haired girl's name was "Tayu"?

No, it had to be a trick of the wind.

"I'm not nice, therefore it's in character to me. You wouldn't want me to be out of character, would you Kin-chan?" Tayuya asked while cracking her knuckles.

"N-No…" Kin murmured, making Tayuya smile and turn back to the two teams.

"Look, I know you guys don't know how awesome we, the nation of Oto are so here's the deal. You guys can lead us to the tower and we won't kick all of your asses. It's a win-win situation."

"That doesn't sound like win at all to me," Shikamaru muttered with a blank stare, a bandage on the bridge of his nose but once again, he was nailed again in the face with a rock, causing Shikamaru to cover it while yelling "Again?! Damn it!"

Karin, finally paying attention to what was going on found her eyes locking onto the unconscious form of Naruto and felt her heart stop.

Was fate so kind to her that her mission from her master could have been completed so soon? 'Blond hair…Whiskers…If he had blue eyes, he would be an exact match for Jiraiya-sama's Godson….Could that be him?' Karin asked within her mind while staring at him.

"Look…Stop throwing rocks at him and we'll do it," Haku told her with a hint of annoyance in her voice.

Tayuya grinned and leapt down to the ground with her team and said "I'm glad you guys see it my way. Besides, it looked like that team over there was unconscious. I thought you guys would need some help."

"That's really nice of you," Haku said with a kind smile towards the girl but Tayuya merely sneered at this and looked away with narrowed eyes.

"Don't call me nice. I'm a hard bitch, not some nice, basic one," Tayuya said with a cross of her arms but she then heard a small groan of pain leaving the pink haired girl's lips.

Hearing this, Haku walked over to the pink haired girl calmly and said to the dazed girl "Hey…You're finally awake…"

Sakura opened her eyes and saw the warm chocolate eyes of Haku and felt her heart give a quick beat, considering the last time she had saw those warm, beautiful eyes that close…

'N-No! I will not allow myself to blush!' Sakura said, a blush creeping up her neck as she stared at Haku's kind smile. 'I am not supposed to blush for her or have those thoughts for her! Sasuke-kun is the one I'm supposed…to…Sasuke-kun! Sai-san!' Sakura quickly turned her head and saw both Sasuke and Sai unconscious a few feet away from her.

It was then that Sakura remembered what happened.

She and her team had been attacked by Jirōbō, Dosu and Zaku. Those three freaks from Oto and Sasuke defended her with some strange chakra and Sai had been unconscious trying to face off with Orochimaru!

"We need to get out of here! Orochimaru is in the forest!" Sakura screamed, causing all of the shinobi in hearing reach to stop in shock.

Especially Tayuya, Kin and Karin.

Orochimaru was in the forest?

They knew he was in Konoha in one his old labs but they were not expecting him to be roaming around in this place.

They were not aware of this at all.

"Orochimaru? Are you sure?" Haku asked the girl, an intense look within her brown eyes.

Sakura nodded and said "I'm positive. We tried to run and Sai-san tried to distract him but him being a sannin…" Sakura drifted off, making Haku nod.

Sai got defeated soundly.

"It was then Sasuke and I were found by him. Sasuke tried to defend me but in the end, he got bit by Orochimaru. It was then Anko-san came and saved us at the last minute," Sakura took a shuddered breath, tears welling up in her eyes as she continued "So I was left alone with them and managed to get them down here until those…three…assholes from Oto attacked!"

Meanwhile, the three kunoichi from Oto were currently in a circle, talking amongst themselves, all three of them confused. "Something isn't right…Orochimaru-sama didn't inform us that he would be here," Karin whispered to her two "sisters" with a thoughtful look on her face.

"Of course not. We aren't on his fucking high rank list like the cursed sealed ones," Tayuya whispered back with a bitter scowl on her face. "Of course we wouldn't be told anything."

"Whatever the case, we need to be more careful if we're to be sticking it out with the Konoha shinobi,' Karin whispered back with Kin nodding in agreement.

Once the three broke away from their huddle, Tayuya walked towards the downed Haku and said "Is the ditzy strawberry awake? We need to get a move on if Orochimaru is in the forest."

Sakura, noticing the headbands on their heads let a large frown form on her as she leapt up and said "You are with them!" but there was so much venom in her voice, it actually shocked Tayuya slightly but it didn't concern her at all.

Tayuya had heard worse and fought more tough bitches in her lifetime than any other so she could take anything this girl could dish out. But what she didn't expect for Sakura to actually get up and charge towards her with her arm cocked back.

But Haku immediately grabbed the girl and held her close, causing Sakura to struggle heavily against her but Haku said "Stay still, I have this," And after these words, she looked at the three girls and let a frown form on her face.

There was no sense in having Sakura fight them or attack them when they could easily be defeated by their allies. Besides, she did not want the girl to be defeated by someone potentially stronger than her while she was around.

"Surround them!" Haku exclaimed, talking to the two teams causing both Team Ten and Team Eight to surround the Team Vixen swiftly, who immediately pulled out their own kunai, ready to go down swinging.

Haku turned to the three girls and said with a hint of steel in her voice "Where it those girls over there?" Sakura looked at the three girls currently surrounded by her friends and shook her head, saying "No but they are from the same village those three guys from! They had to have known they would attack!"

"You mean those dumbasses Dosu, Zaku and Jirōbō?! They may be from out village but all of them are complete dumbasses who hurt women in our village constantly! Why would we, badass women want to be with them?!" Tayuya yelled out with a twitch of the eye and venom in her voice.

How dare this pink haired princess associate her badass female fighting force for those three dickheads?! All they ever did was throw their weight around as Orochimaru's top team, especially Dosu. Just because he was part of Orochimaru's personal guard, he thought he could get any women he wanted and when he didn't, he'd force them to and it made her sick.

She hated Dosu with every fiber of her damned being and she would want nothing more than to kick his ass and slit his throat!

Fū turned to Haku and said "They are telling the truth…Don't ask how I know that."

Haku looked down at Sakura, who heard the truth and venom in the red haired kunoichi's voice and slowly relaxed in Haku's arms, her burst of anger leaving her exhausted.

The two teams dispersed around Team Vixen, who took a small breath in returned their kunai to their kunai pouch, mentally happy it all ended before they had to fight all of them.

They would have won of course…But would surely have been too injured to continue to the tower.

"Now that the pissing contest is over…Can we get to the fucking tower now?" Tayuya asked, staring at the Ice user who seemed to have taken control of the entire group.

Haku looked at Sakura then back at the Oto team and then gave a terse nod but added "If anything happens to any one of us during our trek…I'll be sure to take you out first."

Tayuya smirked at Haku and said "By all means, I'll make sure to leave your ass licking my foot when I'm done stomping your ass all over the place."

Haku and Tayuya engaged in a fierce stare down but Tayuya looked at Kin, who asked with wide eyes she knew would defuse Tayuya "Can we not make any more enemies today, Tayu-chan?"

"Aww…But I love making enemies," Tayuya stated with a small pout on her face but she gave a nod and grumbled as the group began to walk off, with Chōji and Kiba carrying Sasuke and Sai respectively.

Sakura looked up at Haku briefly and let a small blush conquer her face as she said "Thanks for trying to protect me…" Haku merely shook her head and released the pink haired girl from her protective embrace.

"It was no problem Sakura-san. I was doing what I figured was right," Haku replied with a small smile, causing Sakura to look away with her small blush becoming brighter before she ran off after the group of shinobi, causing Haku to merely watch her leave with narrowed eyes.

"What's on your mind?" Fū asked Haku while stepping beside her.

"That black haired girl that was with the loudmouth girl…She kept calling that girl "Tayu"…" Haku said while shutting her eyes. "I thought it had been a trick of the wind when she said it before but I heard her say it again and the girl responded to it…"

"And what does that mean to you?" Fū asked while quirking a mint green brow. She was not aware of Naruto's missing sister yet due to not having a lot of time getting to know Haku or Naruto just yet.

"It means…I believe my mission Otou-sama has begun," And with that, Haku began to stroll off, causing a confused Fū to walk off after her.

Tamashii Nohara

"Why did you bring me here?" Naruto asked his red eyed mother, his voice slightly raspy due to releasing all the pent up emotions that had overcame him as he wept with his mother and for the first time in his life, he felt truly free.

And why shouldn't he have this feeling?

He had lost Iruka-sensei, met his deceased mother and fought her to gain a Dōjutsu, fought this mysterious guy and lost, fought Hayate and barely won.

He met the Kyūbi, barely passed Anko's test and found a great companion in Iru, Went on a mission with Team Ten, nearly died and managed to unlock Kyōbōna.

He then kissed Ino in view of a hidden Hinata, got a new mission with Team Eight, fought the demon brothers who had poisoned a suicidal Hinata, fought Zabuza to get the antidote to save Hinata.

He had then fought and made up with Hinata, saved Wave form certain doom, fought a samurai….Again, failed to fight Zabuza but fought a fellow Jinchūriki from Suna named Gaara but was almost able to beat him.

He then went through a killer fortress, fought golden statues, freed Fū from her prison, found out that his former enemy Zabuza knew his mother and his unknown sister, returned to Konoha, argued with the old man and finally, entering the Chūnin exams and nearly dying against his replica, Kuroi who told him about the old man's deception.

But all the while, Naruto was barely getting over the fact that he had lost Iruka and despite not showing it, Naruto was very stressed out from all that went down in the past three months.

"What, I couldn't just bring you here to talk?" Kushina joked softly, causing Naruto to give her a small grin before shaking his head, making his mother pout.

"Truth be told…I bought you here because I did need to speak with you. Not only about your sister but about your skills with your Kioigan."

Naruto lowered his head as a shame filled look formed on his face as he remembered his Replica's words.

"You think you're so tough…All I see is a weakling before me! Someone who easily succumbs to his Dōjutsu at a drop of a hat!"

"Admirable but foolish all the same…How will they be able to grow in strength if you don't use them to their full potential?"

Kushina saw the shame forming on her son's face and immediately embraced him, saying "Do not think such ill thought my Sochi…You are still a beginner in using the Kioigan. You were matched with someone who had time to learn his rather unique Kioigan inside and out."

"But he was right Okaa-san…I do not know how to use the Kioigan at all…I thought I did but seeing all the moves he was able to accomplish while I only had my clones and my Hageshii Rajin Shuuha to get me by…Kyōbōna didn't even want to be used until his own life was on the line…And not to mention, Whenever I did use him, his personality would dominate mine instantly…"

"Naruto-kun," his mother whispered tenderly while looking at her downtrodden sun. "You are one of the last Uzumaki that has activated their Dōjutsu. And all those before you have passed. You need guidance to learn how to use your spirits as well as to grow stronger. I normally would not recommend this for a new user but…"

Naruto stared at his conflicted mother's face and asked "Like what Okaa-san?"

Kushina turned her head to stare off into the sky and said "There are dark times heading your way, my little Naruto-kun from both outside Konoha and within as well…I need you to become strong and knowledgeable in our Dōjutsu and I fear you learning on your own will not only take longer but it may possibly hinder you as the storm clouds arrive…Which is why I have a mission for you."

Naruto stared at her, his eyes losing its shame and returning back to determination. "Ok Okaa-san! What is my mission?!"

Kushina smiled at this and patted his head and said "I want you to seek out Jiraiya, he is the Gama-sannin of Konoha and also your godfather…Seek him out have him take you to Dōkutsu no Yurei (Cave of spirits)…It is there where everything will be taught to you…"

"Dōkutsu no Yurei…" Naruto repeated before nodding but as he opened his mouth, the entire dimension began to brighten around him.

Their time was up.

"Looks like my time is up yet again…And I fear I won't be able to bring you back here from sometime…Jiraiya is within the village. Go to the Hot springs…That'll be the first place he'll visit…" Kushina said with a bit of annoyance in her voice.

"The Hot springs? Why there?" Naruto asked in confusion.

Kushina's eyes were closed and she had an annoyed grin on her face and ironically, he found himself thinking about that rude Oto-nin Kunoichi he had met during the exams.

"Trust me…He'll be there," Kushina responded wryly before opening her eyes and said "Naruto, your sister Tayuya is within the village as well. She is traveling with an ally of Jiraiya's and they are unfortunately working with Orochimaru. Get to her as quickly as possible before he finds out who she truly is…And when you do…"

Kushina quickly handed Naruto the necklace that was around her neck and said "Give her this…She will remember it, I'm sure of it..."

"I will Okaa-san," Naruto said as he was forced to squint his eyes due to the intense bright light that but before he lost sight of his mother, he heard her departing words.

"Naruto-kun…These words are for both you and your sister. I love you both with all of my heart and please be careful and stick to those you know you can trust…Goodbye, my Naruto-kun…"

And with that, everything went white.

Rain: and that is the end of this chapter. This chapter was just a mere filler chapter sadly but it set up future use for Jiraiya as well as starting Naruto on the path of meeting his sister. So until the next chapter…
