Another sunny day in Ishiyama. Not a cloud in the sky. No signs of trouble. A nice, peaceful, quiet-
"ACHOO!"
Ya know, it's hard to tell which is more impressive: the fact that Furuichi's sneeze sounded more like a shotgun or the fact that it made his house jump into the air a few inches.
The powerful demon prince was now in his bed, a wet rag on his forehead, a bright red nose, and a drop of mucus running down his nose. He then sucked it up.
"That's not good, master."
He glanced over too see Yukihime carrying a bowl of steaming rice porridge. She placed it on his desk and grabbed a box of tissues. She took out a few pieces and held him up while placing the paper on his nose.
"You shouldn't keep sucking up the mucus. You won't get better that way. Now blow."
Furuichi took a breath as he prepared to blow, only to feel another sneeze coming.
"ACHOO!"
"Oh, dear."
That sneeze held enough power to blow a hole out of his house. Fortunately, everyone was either at school or at work. Furuichi was able to convince them that he would be just fine alone. He just needed some rest and Yukihime at his side. Of course, the family thought it was a cute joke since they only knew about Yukihime being their cute, pet fox.
Yukihime used her demonic energy to fix the damage while Furuichi was groaning in his bed. "What is this? I'm supposed to be a badass demon, right? How can I catch a damned cold?"
"Though you are a demon, you are still susceptible to illness. Did you forget about the Young Beelzebian Prince's King's Fever?"
"Wasn't that basically a...a...a..." Yukihime snapped her fingers, creating a thick wall of ice in front of Furuichi, which he destroyed with his sneeze. "A teething fever," he asked before he sniffed.
"It's still proof that even royalty can contract an illness," Yukihime said as she wiped Furuichi's nose. She then used her tail to grab the porridge. "Now eat up so you can recover. Aah," she went while holding a spoon of porridge to Furuichi's face.
"Ah," he went before he took the bite. "It's good."
She giggled before she placed the porridge back on the desk and took Furuichi's rag. She rung it out before placing it back on his forehead. "I'm going to get some cough medicine. Though you are a demon, the human part of your biology might react to the medicine and aid in your recovery. It is better than nothing," she said as she got up. "Don't go anywhere," she said with a beautiful smile as she left the room.
Furuichi chuckled as she left. He then coughed a bit. "This is embarrassing. I survived gunshots, stabs, slashes, explosions, spells, the Black Zodiac, and Tyrant; yet I've been taken down by a common cold."
Furuichi then felt a chill. "Should have known. Best chance to kill me is at my weakest." Furuichi tried to get up, but could barely muster any demonic strength. "Oh, shit. My powers."
He tried his hardest, but he couldn't summon any of his weapons. He couldn't feel any of his magic or strength. He was essentially a regular human.
He then saw it. The darkness... of transfer magic.
Furuichi knew that he wouldn't stand a chance against any demon in his state, let alone a Black Zodiac. He then saw something that might help him and grabbed it before the shadows could swallow him.
"MASTER!"
He looked in time to see Yukihime reach out to him, but he didn't have a chance to so much as reach for her before he was swallowed by the darkness.
He was then in a realm of complete darkness, the only thing in the entire realm being him, his bed, and a pack of tissues. "Creepy."
Yukihime stared at the empty spot in shock before she clenched her fangs in rage. "Damn ZODIAC," she roared with enough force to shake the house.
"Damn, you can yell." She looked behind her to see Ifrit. "What's up? I could sense your anger from the mansion. Hello," he said in surprise when Yukihime grabbed the collar of his shirt.
"You know about the Black Zodiacs, correct?"
"I know enough."
"Which one of those maggots can use Transfer Magic?"
"You can be really scary some tim- Did you say Transfer Magic?" Yukihime pointed to where Furuichi's bed used to be. Ifrit's expression then turned serious. "Shit."
"You know which one it is, don't you."
"Yeah. Is Noble still sick?"
"He is."
"Then he's as good as screwed."
"WHAT?! EXPLAIN YOURSELF!"
"There's only one member of the Black Zodiac who can use Transfer Magic. They can all teleport themselves individually, but he can Transfer all of them if necessary."
"WHO IS IT?!"
"Fallen Demon."
Yukihime's eyes widened. "Fallen Demon? As in one of the original fallen?"
"One of the original third of Heaven themselves. He was one of Satan's generals that aided in the rebellion. He's one of the most dangerous members of the Zodiac. Most DANGEROUS."
"What do you mean? What makes him so dangerous?"
"I did say he was the Transfer Demon of the Zodiacs, didn't I?"
Yukihime's eyes widened. "Oh, no."
"Exactly. If we don't get to him soon... Noble's as good as dead."
Speaking of Furuichi, the demon prince was actually just sitting on his bed, looking out into the dark void. He thought it was a bad idea to try and explore. He had no idea where he was, no way of navigating, and was essentially a human with his powers being inhibited by his cold.
Right now, tapping his foot onto the ground was all he could do.
Then, a portal appeared, followed by another, and another, and another.
"Well, that's not good," Furuichi said. He then watched as cloaked beings with raven black, upside-down wings stepped out, each of them brandishing some kind of weapon, from spiked knuckles to electrified spears. "That's REALLY not good."
One of the cloaked figures lunged towards Furuichi. He jumped away just in time to avoid being cleaved in half, though his bed wasn't as lucky. However, Furuichi tried to retaliate by high kicking the attacker's head. It connected... but Furuichi was the one in pain.
"Haaaaaah. Ow, ow, ow, ow," he went as he hopped away with the assailant just standing there. "Forgot. I can't access my demon strength with this-" He sneezed. "Cold. Seems my powers are in my sneezes for some rea-" Furuichi was then sent flying by a kick from the cloaked demon.
He skipped across the darkness before sliding on his back, groaning. "Thank God for all those years of being punched by Oga. I'm still as tough as ever."
Furuichi then sat up to see the figures walk towards him. "I'm screwed," he thought before he remembered the tissues.
He took them out and stared at them. ". . . How am I supposed to use these?"
He then felt a stabbing sensation in his leg. He looked to see a spiked whip wrapped around his leg. He was then flung around. He was able to catch an arrow and avoid getting slashed by the spear and sword, but he was hit point blank by an iron fist that sent him flying.
His ears were ringing as he struggled to get back up, groaning all the way as he coughed up blood. He then sneezed, causing an explosion that sent him rolling away.
"That sucked," he said. He then felt something on his lip. He reached towards it and looked to see it was blood. "And now my nose is bleeding. Like I don't have enough to deal with."
He then remembered the tissues in his hand. "They might as well be useful for something." He then rolled up some tissues and plugged up his bleeding nose.
As soon as he did, his eyes widened.
A cloaked dark angel appeared behind him, preparing to lop off his head with its spear. When the enemy swung its weapon, Furuichi caught its handle just below the blade. He then yanked the spear and elbowed the dark angel.
As the rest of them charged, Furuichi expertly swung his spear, taking out all the warriors that came near him. With a mighty, final swing, he sent most of them flying away from him. He spun his spear artistically as he took a battle stance, ready to take on the seemingly surprise creatures.
"So that's how these tissues work. A bit weird that the spell is activated by sticking them up to your nose, but it's even more of a surprise to know they summon warriors from your squad..." Furuichi then looked towards the being behind him. "Hecadoth."
"A surprise for you and an annoyance for me. You've gotten your hands on a very troublesome item, Prince of Pride."
"Do you know anything about it?"
"Of course. Your magic item summons only my thoughts to you. I have no physical form, so I can't bring harm to you, no matter how much I would like to. You and I are now in a simple contract, with conditions very much to your advantage. I suppose you could say I'm currently enslaved to you."
"Then I don't need to ask your help to take these guys down, eh?"
"No... but I would still aide you anyway."
"Hm?"
"These creatures before you... are Fallen Angels."
"I thought as much. The black, upside-down wings made it obvious."
"Not just any Fallen Angels. Since they wear the uniform of the Black Zodiac, they are obviously under the command of Fallen Demon, one of the Evil Stars. You've just given me the perfect chance to show the Black Zodiac that the Pillar Squad are the true holders of the title of Strongest Fighting Tribe in the Demon World."
Furuichi smirked. "In that case..." Furuichi charged at the Fallen Angels. "Let's raise some hell, partner!"
"Very well. I'll gladly lend you my power to humiliate these fools!"
With the aide of Hecadoth's demon energy, Furuichi was able to take down the Fallen Angels pretty easily.
"Well, that was fun. They didn't stand much of a chance against you, Hecadoth."
"Now do you see that I wasn't exaggerating?"
"Pretty hard to argue against evidence like this."
"Impressive."
Furuichi's eyes widened as he turned towards the voice, only to receive a vicious punch to the gut. He coughed up saliva before he was sent flying. He slammed against the ground a few times before skidding onto his side, coughing as he forces himself back up.
"It seems the Pillar Squad isn't as pathetic as I remember it to be."
Furuichi looked up to see a stereotypical demon. He fit the mold perfectly. He was easily four times bigger than even Tojo. His skin was as red as blood, had massive horns as black as onyx, upside-down bat wings, and fire leaking out of his fanged mouth.
"Fallen Demon, I presume," Furuichi said as he got back up.
"You presume correct, Son of Lucifer."
Furuichi was then gut punched again right before he was hammered into the ground. He was then lifted up by the collar of his tearing pajamas.
"I assume that these tissues are what allows you to fight, despite being ill." Fallen Demon then squeezed the tissues before punching Furuichi away. He looked at the blood-soaked tissues before dropping them and walking towards the downed prince. "Without them, you should be no different from a normal human."
Fallen Demon was now standing over Furuichi. As the wounded prince struggled to so much as getting on his hands and knees, Fallen Demon kicked him away. He rolled onto his side, his back to the enemy.
"In your current state, my soldiers should be able to slay you easily."
When he said that, Fallen Demon snapped his fingers, summoning more Fallen Angels. One wielding a sword charged in, preparing to impale Furuichi.
However, Furuichi surprised the angel by doing a handstand and spun kicked the angel away, catching its sword.
Fallen Demon looked annoyed. "Those tissues again," he growled as he saw that Furuichi had another pair up his nose.
"Hmm, so that's how it is. Pretty interesting of you to summon me, Your Highness," Agiel said in a sexy tone of voice. She then hugged Furuichi's head, rubbing it lovingly. "I'll treat you well, little prince. There, there."
"Agiel," Furuichi said with a blush as he turned to look at Agiel. "If you haven't noticed, I'm up against..."
"Hmm? Up against what? I don't think you'll find any enemies in my boobs. Though, you'll find something way more interesting."
"Nyah?!"
"Too bad you can't touch them," Agiel said as she moved her arm through Furuichi's head. "I can't touch people or physical objects in this form, so even if we wanted to, we can't do the nasty." Furuichi turned bright red when she said that. "Too bad, since I can't leave your side. The only thing I can do is lend you demonic power. Kinda weird to do that for a demon prince. Hey, can I borrow your arm for a bit?"
"Huh?"
Agiel's arm then phased into Furuichi's, giving the girl control over it. "Ooh!" She then possessed Furuichi's other arm and started to flail around. "Ahahahaha! This is fun! Hey, you've got some nice arms. Very well toned. You're more muscular than you look. I likes."
"A-Agiel?!"
"Hm?" Agiel then used Furuichi to block a strike from another sword-wielding Fallen. "Right. Can't forget about these pricks. Hey, I want to try something. Let me take the reigns."
"Huh? What are you-"
Agiel then possessed Furuichi completely. "Mm. Nice. He might be a bit weaker due to being sick, but he still has a crap ton of power. Now THIS is a demon prince. Lord En could learn a thing or two from you. Now then..."
Agiel kicked the Fallen away from her before taking a stance. "I've been working on this one ever since Kunieda Aoi. Darkness Sword: Blood-Soaked Graveyard!" Agiel's demon energy engulfed the double-edged sword. The darkness extended, making the sword into a long blade that was taller than Furuichi. "Let's play."
Agiel charged at the Fallen that attacked her. The Fallen Angel took a defensive stance as Agiel swung her sword. She carved the Angel completely in half. "SUCCESS!"
She started to carve the Angels, slicing then in every direction possible. "Yahoo! This is awesome! Let's see Aoi handle this!" She then saw Fallen Demon, just standing there with his arms crossed. "TIME FOR THE BIG GAME!"
Agiel charged at Fallen Demon, sword over her head. She then swung down with all her strength, preparing to slice the Black Zodiac in half.
Then, he caught the attack... with just one hand. "Is that all," he asked with an unimpressed expression.
"Oh... crap."
Fallen Demon then tossed the sword away before throwing a punch. The impact knocked the tissues out of Furuichi's nostrils, ending the possession and contract. He was then sent flying before he flipped back and landed on his feet.
He fell to one knee as he spat out blood, his body feeling like it was being weighed down by a building. He then took out the tissues. "Please... give me someone I can use."
"I am the fifth pillar, Elim!"
"Little Elim?!"
"Ah, the prince! So you have summoned- KYA! A ZODIAC! AN EVIL STAR ZODIAC!"
"Is that really the best you can summon, Your Highness? I'm disappointed."
Elim's eyes flared up with a fiery passion. "If I defeat him, the leader is sure to praise and promote me! Alright, Your Highness, I will give you some of my demonic energy!"
"Thanks," Furuichi yelled out as he clapped his hands together. Demonic energy started to flow into Furuichi's clasped hands.
"Oh," Fallen Demon went with an intrigued expression.
Furuichi began to part his hands, a ball of fire forming between then. It grew bigger and bigger until it shined like a sun.
"Hellish Fireball," Furuichi and Elim yelled out in unison.
Furuichi then threw the giant fireball at Fallen Demon. The Evil Star just stood there, staring at the impending ball of flame. It hit him point blank.
"Yeah! Don't underestimate a member of the Pillar Squad!"
"You did good, Elim," Furuichi said with a kind smile. The young demon looked up at Furuichi and gave him a toothy smile.
"Indeed." The two's eyes shot open as they looked at see Fallen Demon walk out of the flames, not so much as a burn on him. "You did well in taking the chill off of my horns, child."
"M-My fireball."
"As I said..." Elim looked up at Furuichi, her eyes tearing up. "You did well. You will grow stronger, Elim. Strong enough to take this guy down like he was nothing." Elim looked down and hugged her staff, her eyes hidden by her hat. "Until then." Furuichi then removed the tissues, ending the contract.
He then took out the next set. "One more time." Furuichi then put in the tissues.
"Kid..." Furuichi looked at his newest summon. "You have some nerve..." Furuichi's eyes widened. "Summoning me."
"Jabberwock."
"Boy..."
"Yes?"
"Who do I kill," he asked with shining, white eyes of cruelty. "Everyone? Everyone, right?"
Furuichi looked at his old adversary with an unreadable expression before he sighed. "You might have to," he said as he turned back to the enemy.
Jabberwock then looked forward. "Fallen Demon, huh? Yeah, I AM going to have to kill everyone."
"So it's you, boy. . . . Kill the prince, and devour the soul of the Son of Behemoth." The Fallen Angels then charged at Furuichi and Jabberwock.
"Seems your old man has a history with Fallen Demon."
"Boy, I'm taking control of your body." Furuichi just sighed.
When two Angels threw a punch, Jabberwock just punched them away, his fists shattering their skulls. He then caught the base of a spear and plunged it into the darkness, right before impaling the wielder onto his own weapon. Jabberwock then caught an arrow and threw it right into the eye of the one who fired.
Jabberwock then gathered demonic energy into the palms of his hands and fired two powerful lasers that wiped out two entire squads of Angels. Next, he charged and punched a shield wielder with enough strength to break through both the shield and the owner's sternum.
Ripping his hand out of the dead soldier's chest, he caught the blade of an ax between his fingers and crushed the blade into shards. He then plunged one of the shards into the owner's skull before throwing the Angel at a whip user.
With the whip wrapped around a dead ally, Jabberwock jumped towards the soldier and stomped him into a pancake. He then grabbed the wrist of a Fallen wielding daggers and used the soldier's own arm to stab the dagger through his own neck. Jabberwock then took the other dagger and threw it into the head of a greatsword wielder.
Jabberwock grabbed the hilt of the sword and kicked the dead soldier away before using the sword to slice both a Fallen and his sword in half. He then punched a mace aimed at the back of his head into dust before he horizontally cut the owner in half with a mighty swing. He then threw the greatsword at Fallen Demon.
Fallen Demon just nonchalantly flicked the sword into dust, right as Jabberwock appeared before him with a punch at the ready. Fallen Demon caught the fist, the two now caught in a struggle of power that actually blew away the remaining Fallen Angels.
Moments passed before Jabberwock punched Fallen Demon's hand away, shocking the Zodiac. Jabberwock then used his free hand to punch the Fallen Demon in the stomach, making the Zodiac gag in pain.
With his jaw wide open, Jabberwock gave a vicious uppercut before throwing a second punch that sent him flying. Fallen Demon flipped before he landed on his feet, skidding back a bit. He remained still, his eyes shadowed.
"Is that all," Jabberwock asked as he brushed off his fist. "I'm a bit disappointed."
Fallen Demon growled before he looked at Jabberwock with glowing red eyes. "Insolent little LIZARD," he roared as he released an incredible amount of demonic energy.
"Who are you calling a lizard?" Jabberwock then released an equally impressive amount of demonic energy. The energy then did something awesome. It covered Furuichi's body completely, taking shape. When the darkness dissipated, Furuichi was in the uniform of the Pillar Squad.
"I'm a dragon, you fallen cherub."
Meanwhile, back in the human world.
Oga was tapping her foot angrily.
"Oga-chi seems a bit peeved," Yuka said.
"Think it's because Furuichi's not here," Ryoko asked.
"I will end you," Oga growled.
"Definitely because he's not here," the Red Tails thought.
"Still, where is Furuichi-kun," Kunieda asked. "It's not like him to miss out on school."
"I swear, if he's up against one of those Zodiac bastards, I'm giving him a Double Heel Drop."
"And I'll give him a shock," Himekawa said.
Just mentioning the Zodiacs made Oga's angry aura flare up. Still, none of the students were exactly happy to have their enemies mentioned.
The door then slammed open. Everyone looked to see Henry and Lamia.
"Woman, where's the Luciferian," Henry asked coldly.
"I don't know. Why do you care," she all but hissed back.
"We need to get the tissues back," Lamia yelled out.
Oga raised an eyebrow. "Why? They're just tissues."
"It seems that those tissues are actually summoning demons from the Pillar Squad."
"Oh. Well, so what? Not like Furuichi needs them."
"Still, we can't ford for him to so much as accidentally use them," Henry began. "It seems they contain a toxin."
In the blink of an eye, Henry was slammed against the wall by an infuriated Oga. "You... gave... Furuichi... POISON?!"
"It's a toxin that travels from the nose to the brain. It would cause hallucinations, such as smelling a fragrance or seeing something like bugs. It could also cause blindness or even death."
Oga then lifted Henry by his collar. "And you gave Furuichi something that dangerous?!"
"Oga, calm down," Lamia pleaded. "Furuichi is a demon prince, remember? He has high resistance to magic. The toxin probably won't affect him. Besides, you yourself said he wouldn't need it. He's arguably the most powerful among your group. Why would the Son of Lucifer need the tissues any-"
"Yo." Everyone looked at the doorway to see Ifrit and Yukihime and, oddly enough, Alaindelon. "Hey, Princess, can I borrow you and the Beelzebian Prince?"
"Why," Oga growled.
"Master is in danger," Yukihime pleaded.
"WHAT," Oga said as she actually tossed Henry. She then grabbed Ifrit's collar and dragged him down to her eye level. "Explain, NOW."
"Scary. And I thought Yukihime was pissed. No wonder you're a candidate." He then phased out of her grip. "Noble was captured by the Zodiac's resident transfer demon, Fallen Demon."
"He was what," Kunieda yelled as she stood up and slammed her hands on her desk.
"Those bastards again," Kanzaki growled.
Oga growled. "How tough is this prick?"
"Exceedingly. He's an Evil Star, after all. It also doesn't help that he has an army under his command, which the Zodiacs use for more messy jobs. He can summon thousands of Fallen Angels to fight for him and the Zodiac, and he's no push-over himself."
"FURUICHI IS FIGHTING AN ARMY?!"
"Yup. It also doesn't help that his powers are inhibited due to being sick. His powers are basically sealed. He's no different from a human due to his illness."
Oga's eyes widened in shock and horror. She then got angry. "THEN WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR?!"
"Your permission."
"Huh?"
"Using the little prince and our own butler, we can open a portal to Fallen Demon's personal realm. It's a long-shot, but it's the best way to save Noble."
"Then let's stop screwing around and get it over with," Oga yelled. "Do we need to go to the river or something?"
"Yup."
"Alright. Then get your ass moving, forest fire. I'm not letting Furuichi take on one of those bastards alone this ti-"
Oga was interrupted by a loud boom. It came from the direction of the river. Everyone looked to see a black tear appear above the river, followed by something falling out of it at bullet speeds that caused an explosion of water.
"Master," Yukihime yelled out.
As soon as she did, Oga jumped through the window.
"She does know this is the third floor, right," Ifrit asked with a sweat drop. He then saw her running towards the river. "Now that's a Princess."
Yukihime turned to snow and flew out of the broken window towards the river. Ifrit shrugged his shoulders before he turned to flame and followed his fellow familiar. Everyone else was awestruck until then finally realized what happened. They all then took off running, not wanting to miss a chance to take down one of their enemies.
Oga ran as fast as she could, which was seriously fast, considering she ran past a driven car. Obviously, it didn't take long for her, Yukihime, and Ifrit to reach the river.
"Where are they," Oga yelled out.
No sooner when she did, loud booms and violent vibrations that actually parted the water occurred. This happened five different times before two figures appeared in the middle of the river, grappling each other, their aura alone pushing the river water away from them.
"What the hell is that thing," Oga yelled when she saw the red monster fighting Furuichi.
"That would be Fallen Demon," Ifrit answered.
"How is Master fighting him? His powers should be-" Her eyes then widened. "That energy. It belongs to Jabberwock."
The two warriors then parted before throwing a punch. Their fists clashed with enough force to push away the water all the way to the shoreline. Jabberwock then threw a punch that landed right into Fallen's liver. The demon was visually in pain, but he countered with a back fist that made Jabberwock stumble.
The leader of the Pillar Squad then gave a mighty stomp before throwing and landing a powerful punch right in the solar plexus, the force of which sped past Fallen Demon, parting the river as it traveled. Fallen Demon retaliated by slamming both fists onto Jabberwock's back, pushing the demon into the ground.
Jabberwock then landed a vicious uppercut that sounded like a gunshot on impact.
"ENOUGH," Fallen Demon roared as he flung his wings, causing a powerful gust that caused even Jabberwock to put up his guard.
However, that didn't stop him from trying to throw a punch. Unfortunately, he felt his fist being caught. When he looked, he saw his fist in Fallen Demon's clawed grasp. Before he could try to break out of his hold, the Zodiac grabbed him by the throat and lifted him.
"You are still nothing more than a mere boy. You have so much to learn. However, you don't get that luxury now." Fallen Demon then grabbed the tissues. "Our duel is over, boy." He then ripped out the tissues and threw them to the shore.
"Welcome back, Your Highness."
"Oh, shit." As the waters finally rushed back, Fallen Demon slammed Furuichi into the ground, blowing away the water once more.
Fallen Demon stood up as he looked down at the prince, groaning in pain as blood trickled down the side of his head. "Let's end this, Little Prince," Fallen Demon said as he raised his hand.
A black light then shined above Fallen Demon. It began to grow bigger and brighter until it looked like a black, shining fireball. "Fallen Star."
"Yup. I'm screwed."
"Indeed. Mission Complete. . . Die."
A powerful wind was then heard. Fallen Demon looked up to see his star completely frozen. The sound of a battle cry was also heard. He looked to see Oga lunging towards him. Before he could react, the powerful fist slammed into his cheek, burying him into the shore.
Oga then grabbed Furuichi and jumped towards the opposite shoreline where Yukihime and Ifrit were waiting. The water rushed back in place when she landed. "YOU GET INTO TOO MUCH DAMN TROUBLE," Oga yelled.
Furuichi chuckled. "Yeah. You'd think I was the main character of a Shonen manga or something."
"Save the jokes for later. Give me the tissues. They have poison in them. Even you might be in trouble if you keep using them."
"I kinda figured," Furuichi said as he got back up.
"What," Oga went in surprise.
"I was already being affected by the side-effects when I was fighting Fallen Demon and his army. We were in a realm of pure darkness, so how could I possible smell flowers or see bugs? Plus, convenient power-ups like these usually have a price attached to them. Poison seems about right. Still, I didn't have a choice. Still might not have one, really."
Oga was confused before she felt the demon energy. An explosion then occurred. Oga looked to see Fallen Demon stand, a dark aura flooding from him, his wings completely outstretched, and his claws growing. His shadowed eyes then shined with glowing, blood-red fury. The demon then released a roar that once again parted the river.
Oga glared at the demon when she put her arm out in front of Furuichi. "Let me take care of him. You've been through enough, superhero."
Oga then felt her hand being gently held. She looked in time to see Furuichi kiss it, which made her turn completely pink. "Thanks, Oga. I wish I could follow your advice... but I'm too damn prideful." Furuichi the walked past the stunned, steaming Oga as he took out more tissue. "After all, I'm more than just the human, Furuichi Takayuki. I'm more than just the Prince of Pride, Noble Lucifer."
He then stuck the tissues up his nose. "I am a proud warrior. One who won't fall until he has given everything he's got. That's what it means to have a warrior's pride."
Oga finally got her mind together and looked towards Furuichi in order to argue with him. She stopped when she saw who he summoned. "Behemoth?!"
"Well said, young prince. You would have made a fine soldier. As a reward, I'll lend you some of my strength."
A bit of blood spewed out of Furuichi's cheeks, surprising the half-demon.
"You've taken too much damage in your fight with an old friend of mine. Your body can't take too much of my power without breaking apart. You probably only have about a minute to end this."
"A minute's all I need."
"BEHEMOTH," Fallen Demon roared, releasing enough demon energy to push the river water so far back that it looked like it was dried up.
"Wow, he really is an old friend of yours." Furuichi then disappeared. He threw a punch that made Fallen buckle over and prepared to slam his head into the ground.
However, Fallen Demon caught his fists and stood up, glaring at Furuichi with hate-filled, burning eyes. "DON'T GET COCKY, BOY!"
Fallen Demon then threw a punch, but Furuichi blocked it with his knee before kicking his enemy on the side of his head, making him release Furuichi's hands. When Furuichi landed, he started to viciously punch Fallen Demon in the stomach before ending his onslaught with a powerful straight to Fallen Demon's exposed face.
As the Zodiac stumbled back, Furuichi grabbed one of his arms and started to spin the large demon around. "IFRIT!" Furuichi then released Fallen Demon.
As the Zodiac was sent flying, he saw Ifrit with his hand on the ground.
"Hellraiser!"
Fallen Demon was then engulfed in a pillar of molten flame that sent him skyrocketing.
"You're up, partner!"
Fallen Demon opened his burning eyes to see someone in the sky. It was Yukihime, five tails puffed up and vibrating angrily, a vicious blizzard surrounding her spear. She then threw the spear, which impaled the Fallen Demon in the chest. He felt it pierce through his heart.
The demon fell towards the ground, his body starting to fade away. As he fell, he turned towards the ground, seeing Oga beneath him. He saw her with her fist pulled back, the appendage glowing with bright, demonic energy.
"Zebul..."
"No."
Fallen Demon was now mere inches above Oga. "BLAST!"
Fallen Demon was now engulfed in Oga's attack. He was gritting his teeth in pain before he turned towards the approaching Furuichi. "Damn you, Prince of Pride." He then looked at the thought form of Behemoth right next to him. "DAMN YOU, BEHEMOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAA-" Fallen Demon's rage-filled voice disappeared along with the demon himself.
Fallen Demon of the Black Zodiac was now dead.
"Well, that worked out." Oga looked at Furuichi. "I'm pretty sure that was the first time we've really fought as a team."
Oga stared at Furuichi. "You haven't changed since we met."
"Hm?"
"Still have those eyes that will never give up. Still the strongest person I've ever met."
"Oga? Where is... this... Huh?"
"What's wrong?"
"Why are there... three of... Eh?" Furuichi then began to fall back.
Before he fell, Oga caught him. "FURUICHI!"
"Master!"
"Noble!"
"Come on! Wake up, you moron!" Oga then glared at Behemoth. "WHAT'S WRONG WITH HIM?!"
"Come down, kiddo. He's just exhausted. He fought an army, you know. The poison coursing through him mixed with his cold isn't exactly helping him either."
"Dammit, do something!" She then turned towards Yukihime. "You can use healing magic, can't you?!"
"Yes, but it would take time. I'm afraid master doesn't have enough of it for my magic to take full effect."
"WHAT?!"
"Oga!"
She looked to see Lamia and Henry running towards them. "Lamia! It's Furuichi!"
She knelt down to the unconscious teen. "Don't worry. I can handle this." She then began to unbutton the uniform Furuichi was wearing, exposing his athletic body. She then took the muumuu on her head and placed it on Furuichi's chest, the blob spreading out. "This treatment muumuu will such out the toxin in him. He should be fine after a bit of time."
"Huh. Not bad. I guess I shouldn't expect anything less form a Princess Candidate," Ifrit said with a smile.
"Princess," Lamia asked in confusion with a raised eyebrow.
Oga then threw a back fist right between Ifrit's eyes. "Ow! I don't think I deserved that," he cried out while holding his face.
"Shut up," Oga said as she looked at her best friend. "Even with all that poison in you, you never lost that fire. You really haven't changed." Oga stared at Furuichi, his face looking at peace as he slept. "Not since we were kids."
"Um, you're Oga, right," a silver-haired boy asked.
"Nnah," went Oga. Back then, it was hard to tell that she was a girl. She looked just like a boy with how she was dressed. She wore a white T-shirt and black shorts with black tennis shoes. Her hair was even messier back then than it was today. A far cry from the goddess she would grow into.
"We're in the same class now, 5-3. Do you go home this way, too? Let's go home together."
"Don't stand behind me," Oga said with a dark expression before walking away.
The silver-haired boy stood in surprise before he started to follow. "He-Hey! Wait a minute! Oga!"
The two walked for a bit before Oga turned towards the smiling boy. "Hey, um... Furuchin?"
"It's Furuichi!"
"Don't just stand there. Put it away."
"I don't have it out!"
"There are tons of shady guys around here. Someone like you could get killed."
"Huh?! No way would I be killed!"
". . . You ever been in a fight?"
"O-Of course not."
"See. If you understand, then go home."
"Then why are you here?"
She sighed before turning towards Furuichi. "Furuchinkov."
"Don't go changing my nationality!"
"You shouldn't inquire too much into other people's business, Pirozhkiborshch."
"Get on your knees and apologize to the Russians!"
". . . You're pretty confident in retorts."
"Leave me alone. I can't let my guard down around you."
She sighed once more. "Well, whatever. If you have those guts..."
"Hm?"
"Just don't stand behind me," she said before walking off.
"O-Okay."
After a while, the two children walked into a building full of gang ladies that freaked Furuichi out.
"Hey, it's Tatsumi!"
"Thank you very much as always!"
"Is she here," Oga asked.
"You mean the leader? Leader, it's Tatsumi!"
Furuichi looked at Oga with a shocked expression. "This guy... is he affiliated with delinquents?!" Of course, young Furuichi didn't know that the child next to him was not male, but indeed female. She was a perfect tomboy, after all.
"Be careful," one gang lady whispered. "She's in a bad mood."
"'Kay."
"EH?! I'M SCARED! REALLY SCARED!"
The two walked into the office.
"Tatsumi."
"Sis, I brought your magazine."
"SIS?!" The leader then turned around. The sight of her made Furuichi blush. "She's pretty."
She then glomped Oga. "TATSUMI! YOU'RE AS CUTE AS EVER! But..." Furuichi watched as she picked up Oga... and began to spank her. "YOU'RE SO SLOW! HOW COULD YOU KEEP YOUR BEAUTIFUL OLDER SISTER WAITING FOR SO LONG?! I MISSED THE REBROADCAST OF FEMME DELINQUENT COP WAITING FOR YOUR CUTE LITTLE BUTT!"
"MY BUTT IS ABOUT TO SPLIT IN TWO!"
"My..." Furuichi looked up and turned completely red when a beautiful woman held his cheeks. "Are you a friend of hers?"
"HER?! OGA'S A GIRL?!"
"You're so cute. I'm Shizuku Itoi. Nice. To. Meet. You."
"Shizuku, he's frightened," said a pretty girl in a kimono.
The girls began to talk to each other. Apparently, they were in the magazine, but Furuichi had his focus on the groaning Oga holding her sore butt. "You have a crazy sister."
"That's why I didn't want you to come with me," she said with a tear forming on the side of her eye.
Furuichi analyzed her a bit. "Looking closer, she really is a girl. She's really cute."
"What," Oga asked with an annoyed look.
"Hm? Oh! N-Nothing."
"Whatever. We're leaving."
"Do we have to? There are a lot of pretty ladies here. I like it."
Oga stared at Furuichi. "You're weird."
"I don't want to be called that by you."
"Oh, you're praising us, eh?"
The kids looked at the girls.
"Takkun, we're going to a party," the girl in the kimono said.
"You guys wanna come," Shizuku asked.
"Seriously?! I'll go! I'll go," Oga said in excitement.
"Huh?! What?! A party," Furuichi asked in excitement.
"Hey, you know how I feel about my cute little sister coming along with us."
"Now now, let them come, Misaki. It's not every day our little angel brings a boy with her, you know."
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING AN ANGEL!?"
The kids then followed the group to... a gang fight. Furuichi was running scared, thinking an elementary school kid wearing a backpack had no place in this situation... until he saw Oga take down a thug with one kick while laughing.
"Damn brat," yelled a thug trying to attack Furuichi.
Oga took that guy out with her backpack. "Like I said, don't stand in the back! It's hard to protect you!"
Furuichi looked at Oga. "Eh? Her expression is totally different. She looks so happy. . . Why does it look so... pretty to me?"
"So, do you always get into fights with those people?"
"Not always. I just get called to go sometimes, even if my sister tries to stop me. It's fun."
"That's really amazing."
"Oi, Furuichi, let's play some dodgeball," a student called.
"Ah. Say, Oga, let's-"
"Go and play."
"Eh?"
"I don't really want to."
Furuichi looked at Oga in sadness, remembering Misaki's words:
"Furuchin, huh?"
"I'm Furuichi Takayuki."
"Takayuki... then you're Takachin. Takachin, take care of our little Tatsu, alright? She might look like the way she does, but I'm sure wants a friend. Just be careful. Since she's my little sister, she'll grow into a beauty, so don't get any ideas too soon, okay, kiddo," Misaki said with a beautiful smile that Furuichi fell in love with.
Furuichi couldn't get into the game because of those thoughts. He wasn't paying attention at all. He was busy looking up towards Oga.
"Whoa! How did you do that?!"
"Huh," Furuichi went.
"You just caught the ball and took out three of the other team!"
"I did?"
"That was awesome!"
"You have to show us how to do that!"
"Eh?"
After school, Furuichi found Oga walking towards her sister's hideout. "Oga, are you going to go fight again?"
She looked at him in annoyance. "You go something against it?"
"…If you want to fight that badly, then I'll be your opponent."
"Huh? What're you on about?"
"I told you, if you want to fight, I'll be your opponent."
She stared at him before beginning to walk away. "Are you an idiot? Why should I fight you?"
"Are you running away?! Then I win, okay?!"
"FUCK OFF," she yelled as she kicked him in the face.
"SO FAST," Furuichi retorted.
He groaned as he rubbed his cheek. "I'll tell everyone in class..." He got up and dusted off his shorts. "That you made me show you my 'thing'."
"I DID NOT," Oga yelled as she punched Furuichi with a bright pink face.
"Dammit, what the heck are you? Did you come here to stop me from fighting?"
"It's not like I came to stop you. What I don't like is how you behave."
"Huh?"
Furuichi continued to charge at Oga, taking all of her hits. Moments later, Oga was staring at a panting, bloody Furuichi. "What the heck is he? How can he get up so easily, even though he's so weak?"
"I was really excited... when I followed you the other day. I was excited. I had lots of fun." Oga's eyes widened in surprise. "I'm weak and scared of fights, but... that's not enough to stop me from being your friend!" Oga's heart skipped a beat. "So don't go creating barriers around your heart," Furuichi yelled as he charged at Oga with a punch ready.
She easily punched him to the ground. "I don't need friends. They're all weak, so they only drag me down. Then they say it's too much, or I'm stupid, or I'm trash... and selfishly leave me alone! You're no different from them, are you!?"
"I wonder why Oga-chan always looks so scary."
"Is she always angry?"
"What evil looking eyes."
"I heard bad people visit her house often."
"So scary."
"If you get close to her, you'll get hurt."
"When I'm with guys like you..." She began to walk away. "I have to worry about my back and can't concentrate on my own battles." She was then shocked when Furuichi stood up. She looked back to see him approaching her.
"Who said I would walk behind you?" He was then right next to her. "I'll stand by your side." She stared at him. "But I'm weak, so for now, thanks for taking care of me."
Her eyes widened before she chuckled. "Don't thank me for something I haven't done yet, dumbass," she said with a smile. "Besides, aren't you damn strong already?"
As the two walked off, talking about the fight ahead, Furuichi smiled at the laughing girl. "I hope I can make you smile like that even more in the future... just like I hope you can one day find someone you can turn your back on without any worries."
Oga was looking down at Furuichi... who was sleeping on her lap.
"So... you should probably think of becoming the official Princess of Pride," Ifrit said. That earned him a punch that sent him skipping across the shore. "Ow."
"Next time, I won't hold back," she said without taking her eyes off of Furuichi.
"Noted, Your Highness."
Furuichi groaned a bit as he slowly opened his eyes.
"Ah, he's coming too," Lamia said. Furuichi looked at the girl. "Don't move, alright? I've just put the treatment muumuu on you. And you were being way too reckless! You may be the Prince of Luciferia, but you have limits! Your Luciferian healing powers were inhibited by your human illness! Fighting an Evil Star was way too dangerous, especially when using those tissues! If I hadn't been here, even you would have been dead!"
Furuichi just looked towards the sky... and chuckled.
"What's so funny?"
"A kid."
"Wha- How rude! I can do this type of treatment just fine! I may be a child, but I'm still an apprentice doctor!"
"I dreamed of when I was a kid. OW!" Furuichi shot up from Oga's lap after Lamia punched him, holding a now bloody nose. "You! I'm injured here! Or rather, you're a doctor! Guh."
"Something about that just pissed me off. Don't worry. I'll fix it. Just lay back down."
Furuichi looked at Lamia before following the order. "By the way, what am I lying on?"
Oga then leaned over him. "You're just now asking that?"
Furuichi stared at his best friend for a few moments before he turned red from embarrassment before shooting up. He was just about to stand when Oga grabbed his head and brought it back to her lap.
"Calm down, dumbass. You need to rest, after all. Don't make such a big deal out of it. I'm sure you do this with Fox Girl all the time."
"This is somehow more embarrassing."
"Oh, suck it up," Lamia said as she began to treat Furuichi.
As Lamia did this, Oga stared at Furuichi. "Hey, superhero."
"Hm?"
"Give me those tissues. We both know you're damn strong without them already. You won't need those things to take those bastards down. Besides..." Oga then smiled, a sight that made Furuichi's eyes widened. "You have me by your side, don't you?"
Furuichi looked at Oga's smile before he smiled himself. "As beautiful as ever," he said softly.
"Hm? What was that?"
"What have we here?" Oga and Furuichi looked towards the voice.
"Looks like we're interrupting something on the romantic side," Onizuka said.
"You're a lucky man, Furuichi," Mikagami said.
"Still, we'll be taking our revenge," Kuroki said as he gave a Shaolin bow.
"Haa, what are you men going to-" Lamia began.
"Not gonna happen," Ifrit said as he and Yukihime stepped forward.
"Master needs to recover. You will not get in the way of it," she said sternly.
"Begone," the two familiars said menacingly, both releasing massive amounts of demonic energy that caused a powerful gale of wind to blow.
The Shadow Group was shaking in fear. "Scary," they all said out loud.
"Come now, those two aren't that terrifying."
Everyone's eyes widened at the sound of the voice. They all looked towards the bridge, where the voice was coming from.
"It seems you've defeated quite a few of my subordinates, Your Highness. There are only six of us left."
"Who's the old guy," Mikagami asked.
"Tyrant," Furuichi yelled out as he tried to get off Oga's lap, only to groan in pain.
"Well, that doesn't look too good," Tyrant then jumped off the bridge and landed with a thunderous stomp that caused a quake powerful enough to make the Shadow Group fall. "It would be simple enough to kill you here and now."
"Oi, I don't know who you are, but we were here first," Mikagami yelled as he got up and stood before the villain.
"You want them, you'll have to get past us," Onizuka said as the group got behind Mikagami.
"If you insist," Tyrant said with a smirk.
"GET OUT OF THERE," Furuichi yelled out.
It was too late. Tyrant appeared behind the Shadow Group, the four delinquents crying out in pain before falling to the ground, a bloody mess.
"Rest assured, little prince. They aren't dead. The mission is to kill you, no one else," Tyrant said with a smirk.
In that moment, Ifrit and Yukihime were at Tyrant's sides, swinging their weapons. He caught them both, a loud boom occurring after the action. "So you want to play with me, do you?"
"No. I want to KILL you," Ifrit roared as he put his hand in front of Tyrant's face.
Tyrant bent back in time to avoid a blast a flame to the face. He then kicked Ifrit away before palm striking Yukihime away. The two skidded to a halt as they glared daggers at the demon. "Well, look at that, I still seem to be alive," he said with an evil chuckle.
"THEN WHY DON'T I FIX THAT?!"
Tyrant looked up in disinterest as he grabbed Kanzaki's heel. "You again? Didn't you learn your lesson from last time, human?" Tyrant then tried to slam Kanzaki onto the ground, only for white powder to fly everywhere when he did.
He gave a blank expression when he saw why that happened. "Snow." He looked to see Yukihime with her hand outstretched and her lips still puckered from blowing the snow. "Well played, Familiar. Hm?"
Tyrant looked to see Himekawa with his baton on his side. "Didn't think I'd get to see you so soon, asshole," Himekawa said with hatred burning in his eyes. He then activated the Lightning Strike function of his baton, which made Tyrant stumble enough to released Kanzaki.
In that instant, Himekawa grabbed Kanzaki and jumped away from the powerful demon.
Before Tyrant could do anything, he heard a stomp. He looked to see a fist inches away from his face. It slammed right between his eyes before it sent him skidding towards the water. He groaned as he rubbed his face before looking up at his assailant.
"I've been wanting to do that again ever since you shrugged off the first one," Tojo said with anger in his voice.
Tyrant chuckled. "The human from the burning school. You seem to have gotten stronger. Impressive."
"Don't be impressed by Ishiyama alone, devil."
"Hm," Tyrant went as he looked down to see Miki.
"Izuma Eight Gods Style: True Owl Killer!" Miki threw the punch, which made Tyrant skid away.
"Ow. That was painful," Tyrant said as he rubbed the side of his abs Miki punched. Miki wasn't surprised the demon wasn't in that much visible pain.
"What are you doing here," Furuichi asked.
"I could feel something dark here. I came to check it out, only to find something much worse than whatever was here before."
"Don't be surprised, Furuichi. We were all worried about you, so we came." Furuichi looked up to see Kunieda smiling down at him. "We'll help you out!"
"Damn right we will," Nene said as she and the other Red Tails walked forward with their weapons ready.
"You mess with one of our classmates, you mess with all of us, and Ishiyama always crushes their enemies," Yuka said, her usually cheerful expression nowhere to be seen.
The group then stood before Tyrant, all of them looking ready to fight the seemingly invincible demon. He looked at the group with a surprised expression before he actually laughed. "Is this your army, little prince? Two familiars, the contractor to that fool's son, a demon butler, and a group of humans? Oh, that is precious. Do you honestly believe that is enough to beat me, boy?"
"You know what?" Furuichi sat up from Oga's lap. "I do. Don't underestimate humans, especially not humans from Ishiyama."
Tyrant chuckled. "You think so highly of these creatures... So, humans... show me what impressed the Prince of Pride so much," Tyrant said imposingly while releasing a massive amount of demonic energy that darkened the sky, making the students go into a cold sweat.
Tyrant then bent back to avoid an energy blast that would have hit his head. He glanced in the direction to see who attacked him. "It's not just the humans you have to worry about, old friend," Behemoth said, his finger still smoking from his spell.
Behind the elderly demon was the top brass of the Pillar Squad, from the Pillar Generals all the way to Jabberwock. Hecadoth, Agiel, and even little Elim seemed most ready to attack.
Tyrant chuckled. "Oh, my, I seem to be outnumbered." He then turned towards Furuichi. "Another time, Noble." Tyrant was then swallowed by darkness, disappearing from sight.
Jabberwock glared at the spot he was at before sucking his teeth. "Fall back. We still have dinner to eat."
"Sir," the Squad said before marching away.
Jabberwock then turned towards Furuichi. "Kid."
"Hm?"
"Next time... he won't get away from us." Jabberwock then walked away, leaving behind a surprised Furuichi. "By the way, you can keep the uniform," he yelled out before he was too far off.
"I'm pretty sure he just said he'd help us," Ifrit said.
"He might as well have said that," Furuichi said.
"He's not the only one." Furuichi looked up at Kunieda. "We'll help you, too. We're friends, right?"
Furuichi looked at the beauty before he smiled. "Yeah."
Kunieda's smile never went away as she closed her eyes. "By the way... were you really laying on Oga's lap when we got here?" Furuichi jolted a bit and began to sweat when Kunieda's smile became more ominous. It didn't get any better when she brought her hand up. "Nadeshiko."
"Not sure I deserved that," Furuichi said as he rubbed his steaming head.
"Shameless acts must be punished," Kunieda said with her arms crossed.
"Ow," Furuichi said from being hit in the back of the head. He looked to see that Nene was the one who hit him with her chain. "Why?"
"Like Sis said, shameless acts need to be punished." Oga was holding in her laughter for the whole time. Nene then sighed. "Still, I can't help but be jealous of how close you two are." Oga and Furuichi blushed at that statement.
Kunieda just sighed. "Now then, everyone, let's go home."
As Furuichi, Oga, Lamia, and Henry walked home, Furuichi handed Oga the tissues.
"A lot of them are blood-stained," she commented.
"Fallen Demon did put me through hell, you know."
Oga gripped the tissues angrily. "I really hate those bastards."
Furuichi smiled before patting Oga's shoulder. "Don't worry, we'll take them down." He then did something surprising. He grabbed Oga's hand. "They're no match for us, right?"
Oga looked at Furuichi before she smiled and held his hand. "Damn right."
"You know those tissues are still usable," Lamia said. Furuichi actually looked at the tissues in Oga's hand.
He then saw them get snatched out of her hand. He looked up at Henry. "Incorrect. The precious gift of the Great Demon Lord has been tainted with Luciferian blood. It must be burned."
"You're going to burn it," Furuichi asked.
"Of course. Your accursed blood is upon it, meaning the blood of that woman is on a gift of the Great Demon Lord. Besides, one such as you do not need this power. Also, it's best not to rely on power like this, even for demons."
Furuichi looked at the tissues before looking at Oga. "Yeah, you're right. I've got plenty of power already."
Oga smiled before she got a stern look. "Still, you've got some balls, making me worry about you like that," she said as she elbowed her best friend.
"Can you two be any more flirty," Lamia asked in annoyance.
"It's quite disgusting," Henry said.
"Fuck off," the two said in unison... while releasing the other's hand.
Tyrant appeared in the castle, a massive smirk on his face.
"You have got to stop hogging all the fun, boss."
He looked at the smiling War Maiden, leaning against a doorway. "No promises, love," he said as he started walking with War Maiden following him. "It seems his little army is getting stronger."
"You mean the humans?"
"Indeed, but not just them. It seems Behemoth's little party is joining the fun."
"So the prince's forces are growing. Good. This mission just keeps getting better and better."
"That it does, especially since I got a message from our employer."
"That company of humans named after one of God's most famous pets?"
"The very same. They've informed me that HE will be returning to us soon enough."
War Maiden smiled devilishly. "Finally. It's about time the Satanchians got their king back."
"And what better gift to offer His Majesty than the head of his own nephew?"
"We just have to get it in a nice box for him. Though, the prince is making it harder with each of us he kills."
"Not to worry," Tyrant said before he slammed two large doors open. "That won't be a problem for long."
Before Tyrant was a long room with glass panels across the walls. As he walked down, a fist slammed against one of the panels. Tyrant glanced at the owner with a smile.
"Kill... Noble! Must... KILL HIM!"
"Settle down, Juggernaut. You still haven't fully recovered from your resurrection."
"Kill... Noble! Must tear prince... INTO PIECES!" Juggernaut continuously punched the panel as he roared angrily.
Tyrant chuckled at the action. "Ever the energetic soldier."
Tyrant walked down the corridor to see the newly resurrected members of the Black Zodiac. Some of them were as jittery as sugar-crazed children. Others were as still as statues. Some of them were actually sleeping.
Tyrant then stopped at a certain panel. In it was a bed with sheets covering something. Whatever was beneath the sheets was grunting and panting and moving rhythmically. The grunts and pants were them replaced by passionate moaning.
Tyrant knocked on the panel. "Now now, kids, you need to be resting."
Out of the covers appeared the heads of Tempest and Maelstrom.
"Apologies, Leader," the brother said.
"But we have been apart for too long," the sister said.
"Do not deny our love for another," the sibling said in unison as they embraced the other.
"Yes, I am sure you missed each other greatly. However, you still need to rest. You want to be at full power... when you exact your revenge on the prince, don't you?"
The twins' faces were then shadowed, a pair of glowing, pale green orbs shining in both of their faces; both releasing monstrous amounts of demonic energy.
"The prince," Maelstrom growled.
"He separated us," Tempest growled.
"It's his fault."
"He took me away from my one and only."
"He... Will... SUFFER," the two roared as they caused the castle to shake.
"KILL NOBLE," a Zodiac roared.
"KILL HIM!"
"SLICE HIM!"
"BURN HIM!"
"BASH HIM!"
"POISON HIM!"
"STRANGLE HIM!"
"END HIM!"
"NOBLE!"
"NOBLE!"
The room was then shaking with the venomous chant of "Kill Noble," with Tyrant laughing in the middle of it all and War Maiden smiling demonically.
Omake:
Hecadoth was eating his dinner when he just suddenly closed his eyes.
"Hm? Heca," Agiel went. "Oi. Heca? Anyone home? Ooooi?"
Moments later, Agiel went blank.
"Agiel this time?! Hecadoth, what's going-"
O'Donnell was interrupted by Hecadoth angrily slamming his fist on the table. "Dammit! I couldn't best Fallen Demon!"
"Fallen Demon of the Black Zodiacs?!"
"Indeed. It seems the Prince of Pride acquired an item that allows him to summon a member of the Pillar Squad. He's fighting Fallen Demon as we speak."
"Which means Agiel is fighting him right now. I hope she's up for the-" Agiel gasped. "Challenge."
She panted a bit. "Holy crap, Fallen Demon is no joke. It took me a long time to come up with Blood-Soaked Graveyard, and that prick just caught my attack with one hand."
"So you couldn't beat him either," Hecadoth asked.
"Nah. Red prick ended my contract with the prince. Hopefully, he called someone else by now."
"Oi, Elim." Hecadoth and Agiel looked towards the table with Pamiel, Tiriel, and Elim. "The hell are you crying about, twerp?"
"I couldn't help him. The prince was hoping to use my power to defeat Fallen Demon, but the enemy just said I warmed his horn."
"He must be desperate to rely on her," Agiel said with her eyes hidden by the shine of her glasses.
"We can only hope his next summon is at least a baron," Hecadoth said.
"General Jabberwock!" Agiel and Hecadoth looked towards the table with Jabberwock, Lunana, Kirin, and Behemoth himself. "What's wrong," Lunana yelled out. "What happened."
"Ha-hah!" Lunana glared at Agiel. "He summoned the boss man himself!"
Hecadoth smirked. "It seems victory is all but assured for the prince now."
"What are you fools talking about," Lunana yelled. "Do you know what is happening!?"
"I think I might know," Behemoth said.
Lunana looked at him in surprise. "Sir?"
"Didn't think it'd be used like this, though."
As Lunana raised an eyebrow, she heard a growl. She looked at Jabberwock, whose eyes were now open. "Sir, you're back!"
Jabberwock then gritted his teeth before he raised a fist and smashed his table. "DAMMIT, ALL!"
Hecadoth, Agiel, Elim and all of the other pillars were shocked, but not for the same reason.
"The General," Hecadoth began.
"Couldn't beat him," Agiel finished.
"No way," Elim said.
"That son of a bitch. He thinks he can look down on me? I'll tear his damned wings off." He then stood up. "I'll rip off his horn and shove it down his throat."
"General Jabberwock," Kirin began.
"What," Jabberwock went angrily.
Kirin shuttered a bit before regaining his composure. "Something seems wrong with Lord Behemoth."
Jabberwock looked at his dad to see that he was in a trance. "Tch, you'd better win, old man," Jabberwock said before sitting back down, waiting for his father.
Moments passed before Behemoth regained consciousness.
"Well, old man? Did you beat the Zodiac?"
"I did. . . . But we should probably go and help the prince. It was faint, but I could sense Tyrant's demonic energy nearby."
"MOVE OUT," Jabberwock yelled out angrily with no hesitation. He stormed out of the restaurant, not wanting to miss out on the chance to take out the demon who humiliated him.
A/N: Not one of my best omakes, if you want my personal opinion. Oh, well. Not sure how long it took me to write this, but I hope you all are satisfied. The next chapter should be a bit more interesting. Should, anyway. Look forward to it. Until then.
