The couple was sleeping for many minutes already. Their night was grueling, punctuated by many hours of torrid lovemaking and tender moments. They had fallen asleep against each other, closely packed. But as the minutes marched they sank into a deep sleep, the woman walked away from William's arms, without even realizing it. She spent every night for almost a week in his arms, still waking up against him in the position in which she had fallen asleep, every night except that evening. She stirred in her sleep, and it had nothing to do with the few dreams she had of him, it was nightmares. Nightmares she had not done for some time, but the nightmares that woke her brutally, shortness of breath, sweating, heart pounding in her chest, fear winner altogether.

-WILLIAM!

He awoke with a jump when he heard his name shouted by Julia. He then saw trembling beside him, sat, breathless, sweat sliding over her skin.

He sat up immediately and tenderly placed his hand on her bare shoulder.

-Honey?

She turned to him and met his gaze.

-William, she sobbed before flowing into his arms.

He tightened his grip around her, feeling tears of the young woman already run into his neck where she had tucked her face. He felt her fingers slip into his hair to hold him against her with force, he felt her sobs shaking her body. He moved a little, covering her naked body so that she does not cold, tenderly stroking her hair.

-What have you got? What's going on? He asked softly in her ear.

But Julia did not answer and continued to cry softly. Then he rocked her tenderly kissing her hair, for minutes, in silence.

-Gillies ... She said at last, he pushed me in a coffin ... I was underground, I could not breathe, I called you ... I knocked but you did not come ... you were ... death, shot in the head and ... you ...

-Shhttt, William continued rocking her, it was only a nightmare, I'm here, alive and this man will never hurt you.

-It nas not a nightmare William, Julia threw herself up to meet his eyes, it happened, I know it happened.

-In another life, William replied, stroking her cheek to wipe away a tear of her, but not in this one. In this one we are alive both, together.

-As you promised me, Julia whispered as he nodded, William did you have dreams of ... our past?

-Some of them and the first was the same as yours, but I had not yet met you at the time I did not know your name, I saw your face, your smile, he say letting slide his finger to her lips, I knew your scent and your look.

-Talk me about us, Julia whispered gently soothing, tell me about your dreams and our past, I need to know that everything will be fine.

-All will be fine, William whispered at her lips before placing a tender kiss, come.

He moved again and leaned against the bed post, attracting Julia on his chest. She snuggled against him then, in the hollow of his arms, resting her head on his shoulder, pulling the blanket up to her chin trembling cold.

-I remember what my dreams show me, tenderly William began as he felt the fingers of Julia stroking his chest, and nothing comes in order. I must put end to end these "memories". But they are almost all very happy and close to what we experience every day.

-You have an example? Julia shyly asked without looking.

-Roses, William replied laughing softly, I remembered before you to tell me it was your favorite flowers and I think I used to put one in your office to tell you how much I loved you, I think ...

-What?

-I think I asked to marry me this way and that you have said "I do."

He felt Julia smile against his skin before she kissed his chest, then he tightened his grip and continued.

-Your house too, I remember having entered holding you in my arms, you wore a beige dress with pink and blue flowers, I remember your smile, feeling your arms around my neck, taste of your kisses.

-I would like to have your memories, I only dream of some moments from our Christmas night before I ... I saw your face sometimes when Darcy... when we ... it was you I saw, your face leaning over me I did not know your name, but your eyes and your smile, I remember.

-And now that it is me who make love to you? William whispered at her temple before placing a kiss.

-Now I am the happiest woman, Julia said looking up at him, I know I've found my soul mate, as if I found all the life we had before, as if everything was clear. Yet the fact that I can remember of me almost nothing makes me want to live this new life otherwise full.

-So I should not reveal to you in the future I know? William threw stroking her cheek.

-It depends, Julia said with a pout, I'm still a little curious.

-OOH that I know, said William chuckling before put a kiss on her lips, so you thought of me when you made love to Darcy.

-It's all that you have listened? She said softly, smiling.

He separated from her, watching a few seconds , her eyes still closed moistening her lips, silently asking him to renew his kiss. His thumb slipped on her lips.

-Oh no, you also said that you were the happiest of women thanks to me, he sighed softly before her lips seized from his own again for a long, soft and languorous kiss.

Full of promise and love kiss, a kiss that left her breathless when he left her mouth slowly.

-Feel better? He asked softly, meeting her eyes.

-Yes, Julia nodded.

-So go back to sleep my love, murmured William, I watch over you.

-And I know nothing can never happen to me there, when I'm in your arms, in this life or any other.

They smiled and Julia lay tightly against him, placing one last kiss on his chest before closing her eyes and serenely asleep a few minutes later. He looked a long time, leaving just his fingers touch her skin, savoring this moment of calm before he kissed her hair which he sniffed the scent.

-I love you Julia, I have always loved you and I always will.

The young man woke up feeling a ray of sunlight hitting his face. He gave a brief grunt and moved a little still half asleep. Memories of the night came back to him, and a smile born on his lips. He tried to feel the warm body of the young woman he had seen asleep in his arms, but she was no longer in bed. William then opened his eyes and realized he was all alone and that the sun was getting up long ago it was so high in the sky. He sat a moment, rubbing his face to wake up completely before leaving the bed. He walked to his locker, grabbed a jogging pants he passed quickly and left the room.

When he arrived in his living room he froze for a moment. She was there, staring over the city in front of the huge window, barely dressed in the shirt he had worn the day before. Her blonde hair rippled down her back and the sun piercing the thin white fabric clearly drew her curves. She put a cup in which was a burning liquid to her lips and took a sip. William swallowed hard, then he slowly approached her to come and stand in her back. He could not help slipping a hand on her skin, from the place under her navel while the other, he parted her hair.

-William, Julia sighed, closing her eyes, good morning.

-Good morning, he whispered kissing her neck, really, to steal my stuff there I'll have a complaint.

He kissed her again and Julia laughed softly.

-What do you hardly deserve Miss Ogden? He said, slipping his hand on her. And in addition you do not wear underwear, this is scandalous.

The young woman laughed again as she felt the hand of William touch her hip and thigh.

-You will only have to show you inventive Inspector, she sighed finally turning to face him.

-Don't tempt me Doctor, he said on her lips before kissing.

She turned around without breaking their embrace William immediately took her more against him, pinning her against the glass.

-William, Julia launched by breaking their kiss, we will really have to calm down.

-And what if I did not want it?

-Well, we have to, I'm starving, she says laughing on his lips, and I will not survive much longer to live simply with love and coffee.

-You're right, you should stop coffee, William laughed before filing another kiss on her lips, and in the meantime I'll make you something to eat.

She had no time to answer he get away from her quickly to reach the kitchen, leaving her a huge smile on her lips as she watched him go.

She still plunged several minutes in contemplation of the town and finished her cup before joining. She put her cup on the work plan and could not help but come embrace the young man, sliding her hands around his waist and pressing against him. She put several soft kisses on his shoulder blades as her fingers caressed his bare chest.

-It's almost ready? Whispered she, resting her chin on his shoulder.

-Two short minutes, William replied simply.

She looked at what he did and when he put the last pancake on the plate and he turned off the hot plate, she walked away from him.

-Have you Maple syrup?

-In the closet at your right.

Julia grabbed the bottle and put it on the work surface. A second later, William approached her and tucked between his body and the cabinet.

-And now let me feed you Miss Ogden.

She smiled at him and a second later, he lifted her off the ground to sit on the worktop. She watched him run maple syrup on pancakes, then he took one and slipped himself between her legs. Julia looked into his eyes and opened her mouth to take a bite. She could not help laughing softly, placing a hand over her mouth.

-It is okay? William asked tenderly.

-Perfect, she replied after swallowing, you're a wonderful cooker.

They smiled and approached again the food from her mouth, taking care to feed for several minutes. She gave him to eat too many times and when the pancakes were completed and the fingers of William were of even the sweet taste of the syrup, he wanted to get away to wash his hands. But Julia's fingers closed firmly on the elastic of his jogging and she pulled him against her. He looked at the lack of understanding for a second, just before she takes his hand in hers and approach them of her mouth. Her lips brushed his skin, her tongue wrapped around his finger and it was quite enough for William. He tenderly stroked her lips with fingertips before coming to taste them with his own. They were incredibly sweet and he reveled in their taste for a long time. He felt Julia ties her legs around his hips and hold onto his neck without breaking their kiss. His hands slipped under the fabric of the shirt to come and caress her back.

-I thought we have to calm down, William sighed breathlessly on her lips.

-Later, Julia grumbled before kissing, you first have to take a revenge.

-Two, corrected William smiling, I let you win two times last night.

-Then you better put you there immediately, ordered Julia before playing with his tongue in his mouth again.

Without a word and without breaking their embrace, William lifted the work plan and he always hold her astride of him, down on the bed for another round of a fight that they never wanted to see the end.

The young man took his eyes off the telescope when he saw the woman leave the room in the building across from hers. He sat in his large chair, holding a huge smile on her lips. He blew gently on the smoke that emanated from his cup of tea. He had thought during a second that the Inspector Murdoch was making love to Doctor Ogden against the bay window. He liked the idea and he had enjoyed the view he had of their embrace. Yet he smiled broadly, what he saw was enough to put him in joy. He had found one that occupied his thoughts for months already, the one that had survived his torture. To whom he would show who he really was, the one who will never forget his name; James Gillies.
