"Well then," Goku began, his black eyes scanning over those that were present with slight disappointment. As promised three years ago, they had all assembled on a nearby cliff side not too far from South City, where the Androids were bound to make their appearance, and he was more than happy to see everyone - able to feel the difference in all of their ki's as opposed to three years ago; however, he had been looking forward to seeing Vegeta. Truthfully, ever since Raditz's and Vegeta's argument at Capsule Corp, he hadn't seen him at all. In fact, he had yet to return to Earth. Even so, he wasn't worried, he knew for a fact that Vegeta wouldn't miss a fight for the world.

"Aside from Vegeta," Goku finally continued, tightening the sash around his standard gi, "it looks like we're all here." Goku's black eyes suddenly shifted over to Bulma and the lavender-haired baby in her arms, unable to resist the smile forming on his features at the sight. "Not to mention with a new addition." He added on moments later.

Yamcha, not as pleased and accepting as everyone else was (though, they had been rendered speechless when the father was revealed), said nothing. In fact, he couldn't even bring himself to say anything. Not when the kid in her arms was supposed to be his kid and not Vegeta's. Though, he should have known better and, not only that, but he should have fought harder for Bulma. Now that he thought about it, and recalled the events over the last three years, the warning signs and indications that she was slowly but surely falling for Vegeta were there; yet he had been so blind and naive to think that Bulma would detest him as much as he did.

After all, he wasn't exactly innocent.

Not Vegeta, he was far from it, and when this whole Android mess was over, he had every intentions of winning her back.

"Kakarot," Raditz called out tonelessly, shifting his black eyes onto his younger brother, clad in his Saiyan armour. Roughly, it took everyone no more than then minutes or so to arrive at the meeting area, and seeing as they were all gathered, he wasn't certain what more they were waiting on. Then again, the Androids would probably end up announcing their presence soon enough; it was only five minutes after ten, after all. If anything, he was probably being impatient; however, as a Saiyan, his adrenaline was pumping and he was certain Kakarot's was too, so it was to be expected. "What more are we waiting on?"

However, before Goku could respond, an air car suddenly came into sight, descending before the gathered fighters. In it, a yellow air car to be exact, was none other than Yarjirobe, clad in his standard attire, and, the moment he landed, he was quick to hop out.

"Hey, Yajirobe!" Goku greeted with a grin, "how's it - "

" - Nevermind that!" Yarijirobe interrupted quickly, strolling towards Goku and all but shoving a bag full of senzu beans in his hands, hastily retreating back to his transportation. "That's all we have for now." He revealed, hurriedly getting into his air car and starting it up, leisurely ascending to the blue skies. It was more than obvious that he had no intentions of getting involved with the battle that was suppose to take place today. In fact, he wanted no part in this whole Android mumbo-jumbo at all - especially, if he could help.

Which he could.

"I want no part in this. If you're all still alive after this whole thing is over, I'll see you around."

And with that he was gone.

"I don't believe I've seen someone move that fast," Raditz began with a smirk, shifting his black eyes over to his younger brother as his smirk widened, "Unless," he continued, "you exclude how fast Kakarot moves when it's time to eat."

"Hey!" Goku exclaimed with a light frown, his frown deepening at the laughter at his expense. "That wasn't very nice, you know! After all, I didn't exactly call you out when you sneak over to my place in the middle of the night to eat more of Chi-Chi's cooking!"

Raditz cringed, mentally cursing. For the past three years, he has been managing to keep it a secret; however, apparently, it seemed as if he hadn't been as discreet as he thought. "Well, then," Raditz began, "I guess you're not as much as an idiot as I thought."

Goku cracked a smile, pointedly ignoring the insult. "See? It doesn't feel too good to be put on the spot like that, now does it?"

Though, Raditz didn't have the time to respond.

Not when an explosion was suddenly occurring in the distance.

Immediately, everyone's head snapped in that direction, eyes widening upon noting that the source of that explosion was none other than Yajirobe's yellow air car. From here, everyone could see that he hadn't made it that far away from them before such a thing happened.

"Oh, no!" Goku exclaimed with wide eyes. "Yajirobe!"

However, Gohan was already on it, giving chase after Yarijobe, managing to catch him before he could plummet to his death. At the sight, everyone released a relieved sigh. Though, no one failed to notice that Yarijobe had been attacked. More than likely, it was the Androids, which meant that they were around lurking around the area. In other words, the battle that they had all been preparing for for the last three years was about to finally transpire. Goku, on the other hand, couldn't help but call something in particular to everyone's attention.

"Maybe it's just me," Goku began seriously, "but I wasn't able to feel any form of ki from that attack just now."

"Yeah," Raditz agreed with a nod, continuing once everyone confirmed that they hadn't been able to feel anything as well, "the only logical explanation I can think of at the moment," the long-haired Saiyan began, "is that Cyborgs may not have the ki everyone's so use to sensing."

"If that's the case," Piccolo began stoically, "then the Androids have an advantage over us already."

"Yeah, that's true," Tien agreed, "however, we have an advantage over them as well."

Goku nodded. "He's right, guys. We've had three years to train for an attack we initially knew nothing about. If anything, we're just going to have to be extremely cautious. And just in case any of us runs into trouble, fire a small ki blast towards the sky." At everyone's nod of agreement, Goku shifted his attention onto Bulma, tossing her the senzu beans. "Mind holding onto this?"

Easily, Bulma caught it with a hand, steadying her sleeping son in her arms. "Sure, you guys just make sure you be careful."

And, at the sound of several explosions occurring in South City, just like predicted, the Z-fighters quickly took off, leaving Bulma, Trunks, and Yajirobe behind.

Yamcha, having gone in different directions like the others, had yet to find anything or spot anyone suspicious. In fact, for the past several minutes or so, he could see nothing but the countless establishments South City contained, and, of course, the damage the Androids caused so far. Granted, nothing too major was done and no one seemed to get hurt; however, Yamcha wasn't sure how long either of the two would last. Needless to say, it was pretty important to find them. Thankfully, due to the damage they caused, it looked as if majority of the inhabitants of South City had already fled. With that in their favor, it shouldn't be all that hard to find them, right?

By chance, the former bandit, caught movement out of the corner of his eyes. Instinctively, he turned around to face the source only to realize that a odd-looking duo was behind him. Pushing aside their strange appearances, Yamcha turned around to face them, his mind immediately thinking back to the Androids. Why hadn't they fled like the others? Why were they still here? Didn't they hear all of the earlier commotion? "Hey, you two," Yamcha began with a raised eyebrow, "it's really not safe for you to be here - not with two killer Androids out on the loose."

The duo, both containing icy, blue eyes, said nothing in response. In silence, their eyes just as cold as it was calculating, they regarded him, and for a moment, Yamcha wasn't sure what to think. If anything, he was beginning to get a little perturbed by their silence. Not only that, but he was beginning to feel a sudden uneasiness he couldn't quite explain; it was unsettling to say the least. And then, upon spotting an all too familiar insignia on their clothing, Yamcha's eyes widened in both realization and horror.

The Red Ribbon Army! It's them! They're the Androids!

Immediately, Yamcha leapt backwards in order to put some distance between he and the Androids, sliding into his fighting stance. Adrenaline pumping and mind racing just as quickly as his heart was pounding against his chest, Yamcha nearly forgot Goku's instructions. Luckily, though, he managed to act, hefting up a hand and firing a simple ki blast into the sky. Unfortunately for him though, that was about all he had the opportunity to do, before Dr. Gero was covering his mouth with a mere hand, squeezing his jaw. Upon instinct, Yamcha's hands immediately fled to Dr. Gero's arms, futilely attempting to sever his opponents hold on him.

The former bandit's eyes widened. Was this it for him? All of that time he spent training, for three years, and yet, he was going to be the first one to die? Had his training been for nothing? He couldn't even muster up enough strength to free himself of his opponents hold, and, at this rate, the other's wouldn't get here fast enough to intervene. And, not only that, he couldn't even yell for help with a hand over his mouth. Leisurely, Yamcha felt himself being lifted off of his feet by the hand on his face alone, and he began to panic, his eyes happening to divert over to the other Android, behind the one that had him utterly immobilized.

"Die."

And then, not a second after those words, Yamcha felt a hand going through his chest, the former bandit choking on the blood he couldn't even splutter up.
Eyes wide, Yamcha's situation was becoming all the more real to him as Dr. Gero's hand remained in his chest, and as his vision slowly but surely began to become unfocused. He was going to die, and no one was going to save him. Either everyone hadn't caught sight of his signal, or everyone was already on the way, but had been too far away to reach him quick enough.

However, just before he blacked out, Yamcha caught sight of insanely, long black hair.

Cursing, Raditz sent the Android, whom had yet to release his hold on Yamcha, flying backwards with a hard kick to the chest, having appeared with the use of his Instant Transmission Technique. Roughly, he had been about seven or eight miles away from where the Androids was, and had seen the ki blast. Seeing as he hadn't known just who the ki blast belonged to, having just seen the area it came from, he immediately tried to pinpoint where the enemy was in that area - having forgotten his own theory about the Androids not having ki for them to sense - thinking that if he felt a foreign ki around the others, it'd be easier to track. Truthfully, he couldn't believe that, at a time like this, his head wasn't clear. This was an important battle, yet his head wasn't as in the game as it should be. Nevertheless, he was here now. And ceasing his thoughts for the time-being, Raditz was quick to send the other one, whom lunged for him, flying away as well, having phased out of sight and appeared behind him.

Touching back down on the ground completely, Raditz caught sight of the others touching down nearby out of the corner of his eyes.

"Oh, no!" Goku cried out with wide eyes, drowning out everyone else's call of the bandits name. "Yamcha!" With a growl, the spiky-haired warrior diverted his eyes onto the ones responsible, the two mid-air Androids. He clenched his fists. So these were the Androids he heard so much about, huh? The same ones terrorizing Future Trunks's timeline. Just looking at them was enough to get his blood boiling, especially after everything that Trunks relayed to him, and now they severely injured one of his friends?

Unacceptable.

"Krillin!" Goku called out suddenly, thinking quickly. "It's not too late to save Yamcha! Remember Bulma has the senzu beans; take Yamcha and go to her!"

"I'm already on it!" He responded back, doing just as Goku ordered. To everyone's surprise, neither of the Androids made a move to interfere, though, Goku wasn't paying that no concern. his black eyes locked on Dr. Gero's icy blue ones. In fact, the only thing he was concerned with as of now was making them pay for what he has done to his friend, and then getting rid of them for good. Once he did that, then, thanks to Future Trunks warning, their timeline would be free of the terror and horrors the Future timeline was currently experiencing.

"Son Goku," Dr. Gero began, eyes diverting off of Goku and onto the next, "Raditz." He addressed, blue eyes flickering over to a certain Namekian. "Piccolo." And, eyes flickering onto the remaining warrior, he addressed him as well. "And last but not least, Tien."

The Z-fighters, upon being called out by their identities, were visibly shocked, eyes widening as they couldn't help but mentally wonder what else the Androids knew about them if they were already aware of their names. Surely, as the enemy, they wouldn't just stop with finding out their names, would they? The warriors doubted it, and they certainly wouldn't be surprised if they knew nearly everything about them there was to know.

"Seeing as you know our identities, it's probably safe to assume that you know more than that."

Dr. Gero didn't skip a beat. "I must say, I'm surprised you knew we were Androids. That aside, I could explain to you the origins of Androids, but - " Dr. Gero's eyes dropped down to Goku's clenched and shaking fists - "you seem eager to fight; therefore, I suppose the formalities can wait. Well, then, what do you say we begin?"

"I'm glad we're skipping the small talk, as for beginning our fight - " Goku suddenly ascended, the others quickly following his lead - "hold that thought; there's too many civilians around, so let's take this somewhere else."

Dr. Gero cracked an ever-so-slight smile, not at all surprised by Goku's suggestion. Easily, he could turn down his request and fight him here and now, if he wanted to; however, there wouldn't be any fun in that. It was too crowded around here anyway, and a more secluded place to bury Goku and his little friends sounded more ideal to him. Little did he know, they were choosing their own gravesites. "Very well." Dr. Gero consented after a while.

Finally, after much waiting and many failed experiments, he was exacting his revenge.

"Lead the way."

And, not needing to be told twice, Goku did just that, catching sight of a clearing in the distance. He couldn't see all of it just yet, but even from where he was, he could tell that it was far away from the city, like he preferred in order to keep the civilians safe, and they had far more room to fight as opposed to remaining in a crowded city. To be honest, the Androids before him weren't anything like he expected them to be. On top of that, he couldn't help but get the feeling that neither of them were going to be much of a challenge. However, then again, recalling everything Future Trunks relayed to him, perhaps he shouldn't rule them out just yet - actually, he already knew he shouldn't rule them out yet. Besides, he knew far better than to judge his opponents based on appearances alone; for appearances had nothing to do with the actually strength of an opponent, and it was often a mistake many made.

However, if that was the case, then how come he wasn't feeling as excited as he was earlier? As time neared closer to fight the Androids, he could literally feel his adrenaline pump harder than it did the previous day. At this very moment, though, he just wasn't feeling himself. It was almost as if going off to fight the Androids seemed like nothing more than a chore he needed to get done. Goku shook his head. He was just over thinking things. Of course, just like usual, he was thrilled about fighting, and he was definitely thrilled with fighting the Androids and testing out his strength against them, his disappointment was just masking the other emotions.

Even so, oddly enough, Goku wasn't convinced.

Not only that, but he couldn't shake this strange, and utterly feeling in the pit of his stomach.

Goku shook his head as to shake away his thoughts. Now wasn't the time to be distracted.

A/N: As usual, I appreciate the reviews and support. And yes, this chapter is shorter than usual, but I got side-tracked a lot today. Needless to say, it really took away from my time to work on this chapter like I wanted to. Though, with tomorrow's chapter, I do intend to make up for it. Hopefully, Android 17 and 18 will finally make their appearance next chapter.

As for questions...

coldblue: Yes, I have thought of a sequel, and I do agree with you when you say that it'd be pretty interesting to see how Raditz handles himself in the Buu Saga. And I'm really glad you understand how busy college is going to be. Actually, I'm going to attempt to graduate from a four year University in three years, so that means taking courses over the summer. On top of that, I do intend to have a job as well. Plus, I still haven't decided if I'm going to participate in a sport yet. Also, I know I don't have to update everyday, but I figured that since I have the time to do so, I might as well do it before I have less time on my hands next month. And I do like reading reviews, so I would love to continue reading yours, by the way. I love reading everyone's reviews, and sometimes it's everyone's reviews that gives me ideas.

Speaking of which, do feel free to throw out your ideas, everyone. I can't guarantee they'll actually happen, but your ideas could be responsible for me changing my mind about what I have planned. For instance, I am considering introducing Tarble.

And if any of you are curious, yes, I will continue to show you guys what's going on in the other timeline as well. Keep in mind, that it'll be at random or where I think it'll fit in.
