Blaine was a member of the cheerios so he had to work very hard. Sue was an animal and she made sure her cheerios were worked hard. Very hard. It was exhausting, but Blaine knew what he was getting himself into when he and Sam came up with the plan to take Sue down from the inside. But frankly all it really did for the moment being was tire him out.

Sue never game them a break during practice. If she did it was a minute in between each routine and that was only to insult every single thing they did. He just wanted to go home, but he had to come every day. It didn't matter if he was tired, had too much homework or was about to get major surgery. He had to go.

Lately, Sue had been working him very hard. Harder than any of the other cheerios. Sue would yell and scream at him to work harder and harder. He didn't even get a breather in between each routine.

Sue kept pushing him harder and hard until the two hour practice was over at 5. By the time it was over, Blaine was completely out of it. He was so tired and exhausted, he barley felt able to walk over to get his things, let alone carry them out of the gym.

He walked over to the bench and he felt really dizzy and light headed. He sat down, but it didn't help at all, his throat felt dry and his head hurt and soon enough everything went black.

The next thing he knew he woke up somewhere he didn't recognize. He looked around and couldn't really tell where he was. Everything was blurry at the moment, he looked around. It was starting to clear, but not much.

He felt vibrations from under his body, so he knew he wasn't in the gym anymore. He knew he passed out there, but he had no idea where he was now or how he got there. Although, he was pretty sure he was in a car, but he didn't know how put him there.

He cleared his throat and rubbed his eyes and his vision cleared up and he could see more clearly. He was in the back seat of a car. He sat up and looked out the window of the back of the car and they weren't going to his home or anyone's home. It looked like they were on the highway or a busy road.

"You okay, kiddo?" Someone's voice asked him. Blaine was startled at first, but themn recognized the voice and then he knew who he was with. He turned around and saw the driver of the car; it was Kurt's dad, Burt.

"Mr. Hummel? Wha- what happened?" Blaine asked, putting his hand on his head. It was starting to hurt again. He didn't feel good at all.

"You passed out at school. I found you on the floor of gym." Burt told him.

"How did you find me?" Blaine asked, how would Burt know he would be there.

"Well, Sam said he never saw you after you went to practice." He said and Blaine nodded. Of course. Sam always came through in the end for him. Thank god he had a friend like him.

"Sam?" Blaine asked.

"Yeah. He was freaking out because he hadn't seen or heard from you. Apparently you two were—you two had something and he tried calling you and got worried. I think he meant to call Kurt, but hit my contact instead." Burt explained.

"And you knew I'd be in the gym?"

"I've met Sylvester before and I know what she'd do to you. It helps having Kurt as my son." Burt said and Blaine nodded.

"Where are we going?" Blaine asked.

"I was taking to the hospital, I was worried about you kiddo." Burt said and Blaine hoped now that he was awake, he'd turn the car around and he could go home. And he could tell Sam he was alright.

"We better just make sure you are okay. You could have a concussion and you could be dehydrated." Burt said and Blaine sighed. He hated hospitals. "You still feel dizzy, light headed, headache, stuff like that?" Blaine nodded and Burt knew the kid was probably dehydrated from practicing two hours straight.

They got to the hospital and Burt helped Blaine into the ER and they waited for an few minutes until Blaine was put at a bed to wait for a doctor and nurse to come and assist them; soon enough one did.

"Hello Blaine, I'm Dr. Rhodes." She said, introducing herself. She seemed nice, Blaine didn't like hospitals, but at least the doctor seemed nice. "So what brings you hear today?" She asked him.

"I feel dizzy, light headed, my head hurts, and my throats dry. I think I was just working too hard during practice today." Blaine told her.

"Sounds to me like you're dehydrated." She said. "Did you have anything to drink today?"

Blaine shook his head. "Didn't get the chance."

"Well, from the looks of things, I'd say you're dehydrated. Did you throw up today?" She asked and Blaine nodded.

"Earlier. I didn't eat anything because I thought it was some bug."

"We'll just get you hydrated. I'll have a nurse come in and give you an IV to get some fluids in your system. Shouldn't take too long." She said and left Burt and Blaine alone.

Blaine knew an IV meant he would have to get a needle and he hated needles. He always has. He was determined not to act like a child or anything like that in front of Kurt's dad. It wasn't like it was his father.

"You okay, kiddo?" Burt asked, he probably could tell Blaine didn't want the IV.

"Yeah, I'm fine." Blaine lied. He was terrified of needles and didn't want an IV. He didn't care if he was dehydrated. He just wanted to get out there before they got back to him. Anything to escape the needle.

"It's alright, trust me, I know a reaction to needles when I see one." Burt said and Blaine looked up at him. "I saw your face when she mentioned 'IV', Kurt would give the same reaction if he needed a shot or something like that."

"I'm fine." Blaine lied again. Even though it was useless and there really was no reason to.

"Blaine, you're like a son to me, and you can be scared, alright. You don't have to pretend." Burt said and Blaine nodded.

"I hate needles." Blaine mumbled, with his eyes getting watery. He turned away from Burt, he didn't want him to see him cry.

"Burt walked over to him and sat next to him. Like he would do when Kurt was younger and he was scared. "Hey, it's okay." Burt coaxed and he put his hand on Blaine and rubbed his back a little, he hoped it would help.

Then a nurse came in with some things for the IV. "Alright, give me your arm." She said, sitting down next to Blaine.

He didn't listen, he shook his head. He knew she was going to put a needle in his arm and he didn't want it. He knew it was going to hurt. He really didn't like needles. "Come on, it'll be over the sooner you let her put it in." Burt said and Blaine reached out his arm and the nurse was able to do her work.

She tied a band around his arm and quickly found the vein, then she cleaned the area and then got the needle ready. "Alright, just a little pinch. Ready?" She asked and Blaine shook his head.

"Just relax, relax." Burt said and Blaine turned away and closed his eyes. The nurse put the needle and Blaine let out a little wine and more tears escaped his eyes and he continued to cry as the pain in his arm was still there.

The nurse hooked the IV up to the medication that he needed to be given. By that time, the pain in his arm was gone. "There. Should take about 10 minutes. I'll check on you and we'll see about discharging you." She said and left Blaine and Burt alone.

Blaine stopped crying after she was gone. "You feeling better, kiddo?" Burt asked and Blaine nodded, wiping his tears.

"Hopefully, better once I'm hydrated. Maybe this headache will stop." Blaine said and Burt nodded.

"Give it a few minutes." He said, getting up from the chair he was sitting on.

"Thank you, Burt." Blaine said. "For finding me, bringing me here, and well, that." He said and Burt smiled.

"No problem, Blaine. Like I said, you're like a son to me."

"Pretty sure I might be one day." Blaine said and Burt smiled. He knew that Kurt and Blaine would marry eventually. It helped that Kurt and Blaine made up and were at least friends for the time being.

Soon enough, Blaine felt much better about ten to twenty minutes after being given medication. The doctor he saw along with the same nurse said, he looked much better and they discharged him. Burt took him home and Blaine felt much better.
