"You have to say more than two words to him Ella," Edward read my mind and caught me out of my plan about only saying hi to Seth and then leaving. Alice had already used me as a dress up doll and I was just waiting to leave. I hoped the time would drag!

"More than two words?" I asked in a loud sigh "I was only just about okay with one word," I grumbled as more fear set into my stomach. I was beginning to feel queasy.

"Maybe someone should go with her," Esme began to worry over me as everyone else looked me over and told me that it was going to be fine and I just had to man up.

"No, she has to do this by herself so she won't have one of us to get her out of talking to Seth. It's for her own good." Jacob told Seem knowingly.

"Can you stop talking about me like I'm not here?" I snapped at them "I will get on that plane, speak to Seth and then drag my sorry rejected ass back here."

"You're not going to get rejected," Rosalie rolled her eyes at me like I was stupid. I felt it in the outfit I was in. I was only going on a plain but Alice had to go all Fairy God Mother on my ass and put me in red blouse, a grey cardigan with navy sheer sleeves and matching trousers. She had also gone to pick the perfect nail colour- red with little dots of silver on, the perfect lip gloss and she had applied a layer of mascara and eyeliner on my eyes. I was in love with the shoes and bag though. My bag was the same colour as my blouse and nails, it was large with space for a book and notepad to draw in while I was on the flight and my shoes weren't high thank goodness. I was happy to see that Alice really did think about being practical. My new favourite shoes were red, shiny brogues with laces.

"Time to go," Emmett waved at me and pushed me out the door. Everyone came to quickly hug me and I was left sitting in the car with Esme, my suitcase already in the boot. Oh god I can't do this! I shouted in my mind as my hands began to sweat and get all clammy.

Esme reached over and rubbed my knee in reassurance while keeping one hand on the wheel. "I'm just an easy phone call away remember," she soothed me. "And everybody else," She turned right and we were soon leaving the country side scenery behind us and heading towards the city.

For the rest of the journey she tried to keep me distracted by talking about a new house she was helping to design with a person from the town we lived in. I kept nodding my head to answer her and sometimes spoke a few yes's.

"Here we are," she turned around in the car seat to look at me after pulling up outside the white airport.

"I had to go and loose that stupid bet didn't I," I spoke to myself under my breath as I looked out the window to see the large building with humans scattered around everywhere as some were saying hello, others good-bye. Esme laughed as she picked up my words.

"Thanks for the ride,' I mumbled in appreciation. I gave her a tight squeeze and then headed out of the car to grab my suitcase that Alice and Nessie had packed this morning while in my wardrobe. I knew Renesmee was acting guilty!

I waved to Esme as she pulled away and I stepped into one of London's busy airports.

America I'm coming home...

Eleven hours later and my nerves had gotten worse (if that was possible) I was physically shaking and kept getting looks from the cabin crew while on my flight. Unsurprisingly the Cullen's had booked me in first class. I stepped out of Port Angeles airport and calculated that it was midday, there was no sun and surprisingly no rain though I could feel it in the air; it was just the usual grey blanket of clouds. Before I could find a cab my phone vibrated in my pocket.

'Hire car is waiting for you. Use the name Cullen. Xx'

I looked around for the rental cars and spotted them just outside the airport car park. With suitcase in tow I headed towards in.

"Hi, there's a car booked for me under the name Cullen," I calmly spoke to a man sitting on a desk as he looked at a computer screen. He looked me up and down and smiled largely. He obviously knew my family had money. I began to tap my fingers on the desk as he slowly stood up and took a key from a hook behind his chair. Humans were to slow sometimes.

"Come this way," He gestured for me to follow him outside with a constant smile on his face "The car is already filled with gas, we ask all our customers to fill it back up again before they drop it back off. The man who booked the car for you said that you would like it for seven days?" The man asked me. Seven days? No way, more like a couple of hours! "It doesn't matter if you would like the car for longer I have already arranged it with Mr Cullen for you to have the car how long you need, just ring us." He took me pausing as him to be able to assume things. I grumbled under my breath and continued to listen, there's no point explaining. I was going to murder who booked this car for me. "Here is your car," He stepped back from me and gestured with his skinny arms.

Okay maybe I wasn't going to kill who booked the car for me, I would just smack them across the head.

"Please sign here and here," The man I still didn't know the name of passed me a clipboard with a document on and a pen. I signed, making up an elegant signature with with E. Cullen on. He smiled at me and handed me the silver and black key.

"Thanks," I smiled back at him while trying to push my nerves away.

"I was told to tell you that directions are in the glove compartment." I thanked him once again and he was heading back into his shed of an office.

I breathed out in amazement and circled the metallic green car twice to take it all in. A Lamborghini Gallardo lp570-4 Superleggera was standing before me and I got to drive it. I yelped in excitement and dived in the car after fitting my suitcase in the passenger seat. Who needed a boot when they had the most amazing engine that made the car reach 350 mph? I reached out my hands sheepishly and stroked my hands over the leather steering wheel and felt all of the curves and buttons in the car before putting the key in and pressing the start button. A Shelby GT500, an Audi R8 and a corvette ZR1 all purred compared to this boy as it let out a shivering roar that made my hairs stand up on the back of my neck.

I gave out a shrill of laughter, through it in reverse as gently as I could and sped out of the car park and onto the road. I couldn't wait to get onto the highway. I couldn't think of a better place to drive this boy as I thought of the long straight roads.

Half hour later full aimless driving, a few swear words from passing drivers and gawks from bystanders the butterflies began to reappear as I remembered where I was meant to be heading. I pulled over to the side of the road and leaned over to get a piece of paper and a satnav from the glove compartment. It took me another couple of minutes to get it set up and I realized that I was actually heading in the right direction and I had cut the hour and a half journey in half with my awesome engine. Continuing down route 101 I took note on how beautiful this place was. It was all so peaceful except for my engine and I chuckled at the thought of what the people living nearby would think.

I shrugged my shoulders and revved it more, this boy really could go. I flawed it the rest of the way which I regretted as small brown signs saying Welcome to La Push appeared upfront. I got here too fast. I slowed down a lot as I saw red and brown log cabins with people milling about in large coats although it was September. They stopped and stared and I tried to slump down in my chair more as I realised that I stood out like a sore thumb with my pale complexion. "Turn right," The computerised female voice made me jump. I shook my head and told myself to man up before turning right. The paved road turned into dirt and I cringed as I thought of the low body work on the car.

"Turn left," She told me again and I did as I was told. "You have arrived at your destination," I cringed at the words. No, no, no, I couldn't do this but I knew that I couldn't turn back now as they probably heard the slight roar of my engine as I drove up the path at a snail's pace.

Seth was in that house I felt it in my bones, for the first time in three months I no longer felt sick or dizzy just eagerness to see him. However, I was still so nervous. My phone beeped and I took it out of my pocket.

'The quicker you speak to him the quicker you can come home. Xx' I read, it was from Nessie.

She was right I could just say 'Hi,' 'goodbye' and then leave as that was speaking to him.

"You have to say more than two words to him Ella," I heard Edward in my head from earlier.

"Okay I could say 'Hi, good to see you, goodbye'." I spoke to myself. "Just go in there and do it," I spoke again with a wave of confidence.

I huffed and stepped out the green Lamborghini; leaving my suitcase inside, it was so much safer in there like I would be if I was with it.

My legs turned to Jell-O as I wobbled down the small dirt path and up the wooden steps. The house was tiny and looked worn out but the different coloured flowers in the hanging baskets around the slanted brown porch shown that it was loved by many and cared for. I looked at the weathered blue door and knocked.

The booming laughter from inside the house stopped. I knocked my knees together for something to do and I started to bounce on the spot. The talking and laughter resumed and the sound of footsteps grew closer to the door. Was this Seth?

It wasn't; it was Emily. She smiled at me and grabbed me into a hug.

"We've been waiting for you," She clasped at my checks and smiled brighter. Seth knows that I was coming? I began to tremble more in nerves as I thought that maybe I won't get to see him as he may have already left. "Don't worry Seth doesn't know and he still doesn't as he's in the kitchen with his mum and sister," Emily whispered in my ear and she brought me into another hug.

She told me to come in and I followed her. The hallway led right into the living room where I noticed all the wolves plus a few others were seated around the TV. Quill, Brady, Sam and Embry let out a woop and a few yes's as they saw me standing there with my arms twisted as my nerves heightened as I smelt Seth's scent over the stench of wet dog.

They came around to crowd me in a one huge hug and I couldn't be more uncomfortable.

"Hi," I greeted in reply to them over the roar of their happy voices. I was blanking most of them out as they all spoke to me. I was taking deep breaths to calm down.

"What's all the noise about?" That voice had everyone stopping in mid sentences and stopped me breathing all together. The crowd of: Sam, Quill, Brady and Embry parted from me and left me standing there alone so Seth could see me.

He shifted his big brown eyes from everyone and they landed on me. He dropped the plate he was carrying with food on and it smashed on the wooden floor. I cringed at the silence.

He took a step forward and the broken plate cracked even more under his weight. One. Two. Three. Steps more forward and he was just arm's length away. I looked down in shame as I remembered the way that I had treated Seth. It started not at the club – that was just the highlight, it started after he told me off the imprint on the first day we met after I said that I would love just to be friends with him. Apologise! I shouted in my mind as I could hear was deep breathing, the rustling of some people moving as they tried to get comfortable in their chairs and the ticking of the clock above the small fireplace.

"Hi," I mumbled, I still wasn't breathing. One word said! Now two more to go!

"Hi," He greeted back, he sounded husky and also out of breath. It was so damn hot. I quickly snapped my neck up at him so I could look him in the eyes but I looked away as I saw him staring at me. Just say what you have to say Ella! I grumbled to myself in my head as my lips were stuck firmly together.

"Erm… I," I started but he cut me off. That was three right maybe just two, could I leave now?

"I know," He cleared his throat and took a step back from me. It physically hurt when he did. What did he know? "I know you just want to be friends," He turned around on his heels and bent down to pick the shards of broken clay and food so his back was facing me.

"No," Was the most confident thing I had thought and said all day. My mind was certain of this and it was the first time in just over three months where my body and mind were in sync. "I don't Seth. I really don't just want to be your friend," He stopped in his tracks from picking the things up. However he still didn't face me. "I want to be your ally," I took one step forward "Your friend," Another step forward, "Your best-friend," Another step "Your girlfriend," Another step towards his back but I felt him let out a breath of air that he had been holding since he first saw me. "Your lover," I took another step, "Your wife," After that step he turned around and stood up. He was about to speak but I stopped him. "I am sorry for the way that I treated you," I felt so confident speaking to him, I had missed speaking to him.

"You don't need to say sorry Ella, I think I got you back hard and good with the mum comment," He cringed as he remembered it.

"But you were right and it was what I needed," I told him.

He violently shook his head and grabbed my hands in his. The close contact was so good that it made me shiver. We both physically relaxed with it. "You're nothing like your mother, Ella. I was just angry that it just came out, I'm so sorry." He whimpered at me and begged for forgiveness but I had never wanted an apology for that…

"I'm not like her now but I was…" I shut my eyes as I felt his hands travel up and down my arms,It made me shiver. "I slept with men for money, broke their hearts, had a child by mistake I was exactly like her in more ways than one but I'm not anymore because you made me realize that I was although I hated the thought. Thank you," I opened my eyes again as he brushed his thumb under my eyes as tears began to whelm up in my eyes. I was so happy to see him again.

"There's no need to thank me, Ella. I hurt you. I should have come to you but you told me to get out and I promised to leave and never see or think of you again if you asked me to. I'm guilty though," He chuckled under his breath and met his eyes with mine "I broke that promise everyday as I asked Jacob how you were,"

"Did he tell you the truth?" I asked as I saw the hint of recognition of what I have been like the last few months.

"Yes, he told me everything, I saw it as well when I was in wolf." I cringed as I thought of me huddling under the desk in the dark hiding from the Cullen's. "I'm sorry you went through that,"

I gulped as he traced his thumb under my lip "It was worth it to realize how I had treated you,"

"Nothing is worth the pain you went through Ella," He growled. I tensed as I thought how sexy that was. I blushed.

"Humans in the house remember, Seth," Sam ordered Seth so only the supernatural could hear.

I blushed again as I completely forgot about the audience and just revelled everything in front of them.

"Were you being honest about about being more than friends?" Seth asked me under his breath. He was still uncertain.

"Definitely," I nodded at him. I took a step forward so I was pressed against him and stretched onto my tip toes so I could press my lips against his. It was short and quick but it was all that was needed to prove that I was being 100% honest. I licked my lips after and sucked on my bottom lip so his taste overwhelmed my senses. It was like a drug to me. I reached up again, wrapped my arms around his neck and kissed him again but this time for longer.

I felt his nerves in a wave and I quickly stopped to look at him. His eyes were closed, his heart beating fast and a slight sweat on his forehead. I remembered the first time he kissed me on the bike and he revealing that was his first kiss. That was why he was so nervous.

"Relax, it's just me," I whispered into his ear so only he could hear and his eyes shot open.

In seconds he pulled me closer and kissed me again. I yelped as he pulled my legs around his waist and span me around in a circle while still kissing me. I broke up the kiss with a laugh. "What are you doing?" I asked above our laughter as he continued to spin us around.

"Ella Whitlock Cullen," He said my name dramatically while setting me down on the floor, I swayed a little from the constant spinning but he quickly grabbed me to stop me from falling over "Will you be my ally? Friend? Best-friend? Girlfriend? Lover? And someday my wife?" He asked as he referred to everything I said before.

I rolled my eyes at him and tapped my chin in thought, "Well…" I sighed and watched his face become strained from impatience "Of course I will," I chuckled and kissed him again.
