Thank you for the reviews, favorites and follows. If it wasn't for all of you, I wouldn't bother to update the story.
Thank you to my amazing beta "Fiend89" buddy for editing. I personal think the story is improving.
Enjoy!
"You are taking me there?" Henry asks, looking across the island over to a skull shape rock over a smaller island.
"That is Skull island," Pan informs the boy. "It is where everything is a start, and an end."
Looking around, Henry doesn't see a way to get over there. The only way is to swim. "How are we going to get there?"
"By pixie dust of course," Pan pulls out a small vial that is hanging from his neck, out from underneath his clothes.
"I thought I heard from one of boys that pixie dust no longer exist on the island," Henry eyes the dust. He remembers Tiger Lily telling him how the magic darkened in the land. How there is no more pixie dust, and if there was any left, it no longer works.
"I have what little there is left," Pan tells him.
"Can only a fairy use it?" Henry then asks. During his quality time with his mom, she taught him things of the other world, the history and use of magic, and what a prince would need to know before becoming king.
"Someone who believes can make it work," Pan studies Henry with careful eyes. This will be the moment of truth. If Henry can make the dust work, all his searching and waiting will be all worth it. He would have found the heart of the truest believer. "I've lost all my belief. I can not make the pixie dust work," Pan lies. Truthfully he never once been able to get the dust to work for him.
"How did you lose your belief?"
That gave Pan pause. He couldn't say just anything, the boy might not believe it. Instead lying more, he decided to tell the truth.
"Once upon a time, I fallen in love with a girl, when I was collecting a few lost boys. She wasn't lost, but I convinced her to come with me to Neverland. She spent time here, and I fall in love even more. Her welcome was running out, and I asked her to stay with me, but she rejected my offer. When I took her back, my heart broke to pieces. I never was the same."
Being the son of Emma Swan, he also has the power to tell if someone is lying to him or not. Peter Pan was not lying. But it didn't explain what he wanted with him, and that's an answer he really wanted to know.
"Why do you want me?" Henry repeats the most question.
"Do you seriously want to know?" Pan seriously asks.
"Yes," Henry nods.
Pan takes a breath, adding to the effect. "The island is dying, Henry."
"Dying?"
"The magic has been slowly drying up," Pan explains. "This land will be no more, if there isn't any more magic. No more magic, no more Neverland. No Neverland, no more home for those who are lost."
"And what am I suppose to do about it?" Henry would like help, but he doesn't know much about magic. He doesn't have any. He is just a normal boy.
"That is why I want you to come with me to Skull Island," Pan doesn't answer the question straight. He knew he got Henry hook, and is starting to get him warp around his finger. "I think you can make this pixie dust work."
Pan gives the vile to Henry, who just eyes it, as it glows in life.
"You believe a book that Mary Margaret gave you, when no one did. You never stop believing. That is what Neverland was made from," Pan continues to talk, hoping to give the boy the push. "Belief is the most powerful magic. If you can believe, you can will it, and if you can will it, it shall be yours."
Henry always wanted to be a hero. To be the one to save the world. Opening the vile, he throws the dust in the air, over his head, eye close as it sprinkles all over him. Slowly his feet lift off the ground.
"You did it!" Pan acts excitedly, watching Henry lift off his feet, hovering in the air. He is finally getting what he's been waiting for. All of it will be worth it. He will now have all that he ever wanted. "Now off we go!"
"Ready everyone?" Glinda asks everyone among the group.
"Is it safe?" Nibs asks, not sure what to think of traveling by bubble. Though being a Lost Boy, one isn't afraid of death. It all looks like a game to them, but a bubble was out of the ordinary, even for him.
"Very safe," Glinda assures him. "Just don't poke sharp objects against it."
Hook looks at his hook. "That makes me feel very safe, mate."
"Tick Tock," Glinda waves a dismissive hand. "You'll be fine."
"Lucky for me, I'll be traveling on this old thing," Elphaba mumbles to herself, as she sets herself on said broom.
"That means you can distract them," Wendy says. They would expect all of them, but if one shows up, it would give them a chance to jump them. And that's hopeful thinking. Plus she's green. That would throw them a bit. They are boys, let her not forget that they see everything as a game.
"What do you want me to do? Dress in drag and do the hula?" Elphaba asks seriously. Isn't her color of her skin distracting enough?
"That would work on me," Hook smiles, mentally thinking the green skin in the said outfit. He would be lying if he thought she didn't look good.
Glinda glares at the Hook as she points her wand, and shot a bit of harmless magic at him, hitting in the groin. Hearing the pirate groan in pain as he leans over and apologizes made her feel better.
"Here, just in case your good looks fail you," Regina gives Elphaba a vile. "That should keep them busy."
"Thank you," Elphaba smiles, before lifting into the sky, flying to the mountain top. She carefully creeps over, keeping her guard up as she looks for any sudden movement. Elphaba smiles wickedly, facing sharp spears aimed at her. Cracking a laugh, she drops the vile, and let the purple smoke clouds cover the campsite.
Everyone watch as Elphaba fly into the sky, over the mountain and hear the glass smash and a purple as smoke comes out, covering the entire mountain top.
"That's our cue," Regina says, and Glinda circles her wand in the air, creating a bubble for each small group, carefully lifts them up, along herself. Humming to herself, happily concentrating to guide all bubbles over the mountain.
"Never in a million years did I thought I'll travel in a...bubble," Emma comments, taking in what is around her. If someone told her she would find out her parents are Snow White and Prince Charming, she fallen in love with the Evil Queen, who adopted and raised her son, she would have thought them to be insane. And now she is in Neverland, fighting against a cocky teenage, who has growing up problems, and is now travelling in a bubble, she wouldn't believe them.
"Always wonder how it felt," Regina nods, understanding where Emma was coming from. She only seen Glinda travel in the bubble back in Oz, and wonder how Glinda came up with the spell. Glinda tease about it being poppable, when truly she seen the strength it has. It isn't easily breakable. It was truly the most powerful protection barrier she ever witness. The magic chalk was a simple spell compare to Glinda's bubble spell.
Glinda carefully lands everyone on the mountain top, before popping the bubbles, releasing everyone from the containment. Just right on time when the purple smoke start to evaporate, clearing away from the campsite. Everyone pulls out their weapons, getting in their ready stance. The different age boys ran forward as the others follow suit, meeting them head on in the middle.
Elphaba swipes a boy off his feet with just a brush of her broom. She blocks upward another attack that was aim for her head. Not wasting time dwelling, she kicks him in the abdomen, sending him down to the ground. Keeping the flow, she doesn't miss a beat as she twists around, hitting another off his feet, whacking him outside his head.
Not truly paying attention to what was going outside of the group of boys, solely concentrating on those fighting against her, she barely dodges the poisoned tipped arrow that almost impale her. Luckily, Red's wolf form made her stumble, as the hairy beast bump into her.
"Thanks bitch," Elphaba teases the moon shifter, having a newly formed friendship with her, and goes back into dodging and knocking the boys off their feet.
The wolf growls in reply, and runs off to a nearby boy, jumping on top of him, knocking him to his back. Biting hard on the thick club between her dentures, she snaps the wood weapon in half with ease. Throwing the weapon to the side, she side steps off the boy, and lifts him by her snout, throwing him towards two of his comrades that came running to aid him, knocking them down with their own.
Moving faster than any human, the wolf air jumps into a group of boys that were overwhelming Neal, who was alone in sword fighting against some Lost Boys. Holding tight to one's shoulder, she shakes her head back and forth before releasing the pathetic boy, before moving onto the next.
"Grumpy behind you!" Charming shouted as he spotted a boy sneaking up behind dwarf. Grumpy thankfully heeded his warning as he twirled his axe around catching the approaching enemy with the butt of it, knocking the boy out. Grumpy turned nodding to the former King whom nodded back as he returned his attention to his own fight as an opponent fell and two more took his place. One waited for an opening as the other charged forward.
Charming grabbed the wielder, knocking him off balance and grabbed his hand with the blade, yanking it clear out of his hand. He allowed the boy to fall as he used the two swords together, whirling around as he felt the second boy come nearer. The Prince stopped as he blocked the sword aimed for his chest and brought the other to the boy's neck ready to take his head clear off.
Even as the boy faced death, his face showed no signs of anything but a grin. Charming held the blade tighter to his neck but he didn't even flinch as some of the poison fell onto his skin. His eyes, his face, his grin was all playful like it was a game. Charming felt his grip loosen as he recognized the look as he wore it when he was that age, when he was a boy and he was playing a game. Wendy wasn't lying or over exaggerating when she said that all boys were heavily brainwashed. They didn't know what was real or not. That is what Neverland does to someone. So instead he slams the butt of his sword handle at the boy's head, knocking him out.
Nearby Hook and Felix clash their swords.
"Hello, Captain," Felix smirks. "It's been a long time."
"Not long enough," Hook growls, continuing the sword fight between them. Thrusting, blocking, trying to overcome his opponent, oblivious to everyone around them.
Rumpelstiltskin smiles, "has anyone you boys ever been beaten by a cane? No? There is always a first time for everything." Lifting his cane, he hits the nearest boy, knocking him out. "Sorry but not sorry, dearies!" Being the Dark One had its perks. Each hit had magically impact, sending the boys falling, and being bonded.
Using his cane as a sword, he blocks inward, and outward, disarming many as they keeping coming at him. Going as many as three, before he lets his magic bond them.
Emma and Regina stand back to back, staying close to each other. Emma wields her sword, clashing, as she blocks. Regina flicks her wrist with ease, capturing the boys by vines, wrapping tightly so they wouldn't escape easily. Not wanting to waste too much energy on these kids, and wanting to use most her energy in stopping Pan, she holds herself back from using any serious magic.
Emma works hard to disarm, and kicking to every teen or boy that comes her way, and melt the weapons so they were no more. She puts the lessons her father taught her, and using what little she knows of magic, blocking and clashing, and letting the roots wrap around the boys.
Snow and Tiger Lily stayed at a distance, aiming and shooting arrows to whoever needed help, or were sneaked up behind of. They work fast, as the others take one down, two more replace the fallen child. They were greatly out matched. So they didn't slow down in replacing arrows, re-aiming and releasing them through the air. Some got their targets, and some were greatly missed, but that didn't stop them to doubt their skills with archery.
Glinda stand closely to Snow and Tiger Lily, while they are busy keeping an eye on the fight and aiding the others, Glinda flicker her wand, waving it around, singing, "bibbidi-bobbidi-boo!" Magic flies through the air, lifting the boys up. Hanging in the air, the boys try to break from the magic, trying to get down. Arrows are frozen, stopped in the air.
Wendy, Cubby, Slightly, Nib, and Toothles worked together to fight against their own brethren. They try again to talk sense to them, saying that Pan is only using them.
Wendy wasn't kidding when she said that Pan had collected a great number of lost children over the centuries. Every time one would knock one out, two replaced them. They were starting to overwhelm them. They were growing tired. Having lived in the wild, and played Pan's game for many years, the lost children didn't care to face them. Magic did nothing to slow them down or stop them.
"This is wasting time!" Regina growls, she pushes her palm out, sending a few boys flying. Having lost her patience, she tired of holding back. Swiping her hand, more are thrown, and after a quick flicker, they are wrapped. Using her other hand she shocks others, knocking them out.
Rumpelstiltskin follows his daughter's example and twist his cane, causing many to stumble to their feet, as roots lifted out of the ground, tying around them.
In the corner of her eye, Regina twists around, and motions her hand in the air, causing trees to stumble to ground, blocking Felix from escaping. "Not so fast," Regina says through gritted teeth, as she cast vines trap him in place. He wasn't going to anywhere any time soon. "Where is Henry?"
"The boy?" Felix acts confused.
Emma was moving fast, and place her sharp blade dangerously close to his throat. "I am tired playing games. You will tell me where Pan has taken Henry. Now!"
Felix didn't flinch, only looking straight into Emma's eyes, unfazed.
"He isn't going to tell you anything," Wendy place a hand on Emma's shoulder, calming her weapon arm.
"I always knew you weren't who you pretend to be," Felix fixes Wendy a traitor look.
Wendy looks straight into Felix's eyes. She didn't feel guilty doing what she did. She would do it again. She may miss her home greatly, and may never go back. That's why she concentrated on getting her brothers back. They were her only family left, and she'll be damn if she gave up on them.
"If he doesn't talk, I'll force him," Regina smiles darkly over to Felix, as she starts to rolling up her sleeves.
"If he won't speak, maybe the others will," Elphaba eyes some of the tired, very silent group of Lost Boys. "Give me five minutes alone with them, I'll have their guts bleeding green if they won't speak."
"Nothing you do to them will be worse than what Pan has done to them," Tiger Lily shakes her head.
"What about a promise of a home if they help us?" Glinda offers an idea. There had to be children that do want to go home. Who didn't want to go home? Dorothy wanted to go home after her adventures in Oz. Surely they were the same.
"Can you really do that?" a boy questions, speaking up. His eyes lit up in hope.
"Yes," Glinda nods, voice full of promise. "If you help us, we can bring you back with us. You'll get a warm home, people who will take care of you and look after you."
"They are lying," Felix tells them.
Some of the boys look at each other, before they all nodded. "Pan took Henry to Skull Island."
"Skull Island?" Emma lifts an eyebrow.
"It is not far," a boy tells her.
"Damn you," Felix curses at the boy, who flinched in fear.
Emma acted on impulse, she stretch out her arm out, her sword points into Felix's throat once again, silencing the teen. Her eyes were wild, the need to save her son was having her see red.
"This is worse than I thought," Wendy mumbles to herself. "Tiger Lily, take Emma and Regina. You'll have to act quickly. That is the source of Neverland's magic."
Tiger Lily nods, along with Regina and Emma, who doesn't argue.
"The rest of us will stay behind and bring everyone to the Jolly Roger," Charming takes charge. "Make sure you bring back Henry."
"We will," Emma vows, determined more than ever since coming to Neverland.
"Regina," Rumpelstiltskin calls out before the three go off to stop Pan, and save Henry. He was sure she would just continue to ignore him. He doesn't expect anything different. But when Regina sighs and glares at him, it warmed his heart a little. "Be careful."
Regina fights to not roll her eyes, but nod sharply. She gives credit to Rumpelstiltskin for trying, but it will never erase all that he has done to her. All the things he did to her. She might forgive, and that's a big if she decides to forgive the imp, but she'll never forget.
She puts her mind back to the task at hand. She couldn't afford any distraction. She'll worry who she'll invite to Thanksgiving Dinner next year later.
Henry carefully puts down Pan, before setting his feet on the small, neighboring island. Pan motions Henry to follow him inside the Skull. Once inside, the first thing Henry sees is a giant hourglass. Tilting his head, he looks at the giant object with curiosity. How strange it was there.
"What is the hourglass doing here?" Henry points at it.
Pan looks at the hourglass. The sand is almost completely gone from the top half. Soon Neverland no longer will exist. He over stayed when he first came to this world all those many years ago. But with Henry's heart, he'll able to continue to run Neverland, and get Wendy to love him. He will be invincible. Nobody will able to stop him.
"That tells how much time we have left of Neverland's magic," he wasn't completely lying.
"What is that I have to do?" Henry looks at Pan with determination in his eyes. He's willing to do whatever it takes to save the island.
"I'll guess that's Skull Island," Emma states, seeing the rock shape skull that is placed on a little neighboring island.
"Was it the skull shape rock, or the fact that it is the only neighboring island?" Regina replies with sarcasm at Emma's obvious observation.
"We must row quickly," Tiger Lily drags a boat onto the water which was hidden behind nearby rocks.
Together they row across the distance between the two islands. Once they hit land, Emma runs ahead first, but is blasted backwards before she can enter the cave. She lands hard on the ground, but the ring necklace that Regina gave her absorbed most of the impact. She wonders what damaged could have been done to Emma's body if she didn't have it hanging around her neck.
"Emma, are you alright?" Regina helps Emma back on her feet, who nods, as she dust the dirt off her pants. She looks back at the where the invisible barrier is up, as if it was visible. Creating a fireball, about to throw at it, Tiger Lily stops her from throwing at it, shaking her head.
Tiger Lily knew it would have done more harm to them then to the barrier. They once sneaked in with Tinkerbell who tried what little pixie dust there was left to break the barrier only to have it shot right back at them. They were lucky and surprised no one wakened upon hearing the explosion. It was pretty loud if you ask her.
"The island is enchanted so no one is allow to walk inside," Tiger Lily fills them in. "Wendy and I tried for years but we can never succeed."
"Why is that?"
"It stop those who have a shadow from entering," Tiger Lily answers.
Both look down to see their shadow cast on the ground. Regina contemplates of any kind of spell to assist them in this situation. She would try blasting it, or throwing fire, but it may reflect back towards them without doing damage to the barrier.
"What if we get rid of the moon," Emma looks up at the moon, which has finally set alone in the sky. "It's what cast our shadows."
"Like an eclipse?" Regina raises an eyebrow at Emma's train of thought.
"Can you do that?" Emma asks seriously to Regina.
"I don't know," Regina shrugs. "Never did something like that before."
"You think you can do it?" Emma asks.
"It'll require a lot of magic. I'll need help."
Emma clasp Regina's hand, interlocking their fingers together. Their magic purr together, as each raise their other hand out to the sky, towards the full moon. Their magic flow together, as they literally rearrange planets, stopping the moon's light from casting shadows.
"We did it," Emma says in awe. Their magic was powerful enough to create an eclipse. She wonders what they couldn't do. Everyone who does magic always says that magic has a limit. What was their limit?
"Of course we did, my love," Regina smiles at Emma. Just as Elphaba and Glinda, they were also unlimited.
Tiger Lily gives them their little moment, as she went to see if it truly worked. Crossing over where the invisible barrier was, and was able to pass. Nodding to Regina and Emma, she pulls out her bow, and aiming ahead of her. Emma pulls out her sword, and Regina created a fireball, and they all carefully walk inside.
"You have to give me your heart, Henry," Pan says serious, a shadow cast around his eyes as he looks at the boy.
"My what?" Henry takes a step back. Flags were going off in his head, as his heart start to pump faster in his chest.
"Your heart," Pan repeats.
Swallowing thickly, Henry's eyes dart to the only exit, but Pan sidesteps, blocking him from escaping. Peter Pan was not the boy he read and watched. His eyes didn't hold youth, it held a battle to stay young.
"I've waited almost two centuries for this day," Pan takes a step forward. "With your heart, I'll be able to finally have Wendy. I'll finally be able to stay in Neverland forever, and nobody will able to stop me."
Taking a chance, Henry breaks out in a run, but Peter Pan's shadow grabs ahold of him. He tries to break free, having witness what the Shadow can do. He struggles to be let loose.
"I was hoping you would see things my way," Pan shakes his head, disappointed in the boy. "But that doesn't matter. I will get your heart." With that said, Pan's hand went to stab into Henry's chest, but was electrocuted when his fingers touch the boy. Hissing, Pan waves his hand to get feeling back.
Henry was shock what happened, but remembered Granny's hotel key that his mom gave him was still in his pocket. His mom made him promise to always keep it with him. He thought about how his mom also gave Emma a ring necklace to stop any serious damage from Cora's magic. His mom's magic was protecting him.
Pan tries again, and once again his hand was electrocuted. The boy had some sort of enchanted that is protecting him. Anyone who tries to cause him harm, the key will protect him. Giving the Shadow a look, he digs in his pocket.
"What is that?" Henry questions, eyeing the black gold dust. Warning fireworks were going off in his mind.
"Star dust," Pan replies.
Henry eyebrows went forward. He never heard of Star dust. "What does it do?"
"It is the dark version of fairy magic," Pan explains. "Instead of it granting wishes, and make dreams come true. Star dust makes your worse nightmare come to life."
"It won't work on me," Henry is putting a lot of hope in the key to keep him from being affected.
"I'll give credit to whoever placed the protection enchantment on you," Pan tells him. "But it only protects you from outside harm, not self harm."
Before Henry could say anything, Pan blows some star dust into his face. Sneezing, Henry shakes his head, feeling the effects. Blinking, he tries to fight against it, but it was a pointless. All his doubts, and fears were running through his head. Being a hero was the most repeated.
Pan knows how to get what he wanted from Henry, having gotten too know the boy during the weeks he has been on the island. "You'll be a hero. All you have to do is give me your heart. Your heart will save the island."
That's all he wanted to be. To be a hero. To save his family from any harm. All he does is stand on the side lines, and watch those he love and care save the day. Putting his own hand in his chest, he pulls out his heart.
Emma, Regina, and Tiger Lily enter the scene to see the horror of Henry pulling out his heart. Eyes widen, they scream out to stop the boy. "Henry, no!"
Being under the star dust effect, he is oblivious to his surroundings. Only seeing himself as a hero, and finally doing something right. Being a hero. He looks at it for a second before handing it over to Pan, who smiles darkly.
The heart was glowing gold. It was like no other heart he ever seen or heard of. He can partially feel the belief, and magic pulsing in his hand. Seeing he didn't have much time left, he sticks in his chest.
Regina and Emma move forward, not giving up just yet, but the moment Pan places Henry's heart in his own chest, a blast of magic hit them back as it spreads across the land.
Storybrooke
Ursula was going through her inventory, when she felt the magic pulse through Storybrooke. She stumble a bit at the strength of magic that passed by. Looking around with narrow eyes, she shrugs at the odd feeling and went back to what she was doing.
Neverland
Charming had order Hook, Neal, Rumpelstiltskin, and along with Snow to bring some of the lost boys to the ship. He didn't want to waste time just waiting for Regina and Emma to bring back Henry, or waste the extra time to travel so many boys into the ship. So to kill two birds with one stone, he had Snow to get everyone settled on the ship, putting her motherly instinct to work, and have Glinda, Elphaba, Red, Tinkerbell, Grumpy, Wendy and her group to keep an eye on the rest. Wendy, and those who follow her, were trying to talk sense into some of the boys that were against them, as Glinda gives them words of encouragement, to not fear of change. Elphaba and Red stood in front of Felix, not daring to take their eyes off of him.
It took them all by surprise, as a burst of magic zips through the entire island, knocking some down, a signal that something has happened.
"The hell was that?" Grumpy curses, looking around in confusion in a defensive stance. Ready for any attack, his ax was ready for action.
"That was magic," Tinkerbell answered. Her eyes snap at the direction which Regina, Emma and Tiger Lily went. It led to Skull island, where Regina and Emma were to stop Pan.
"I don't think that was a good sign," Glinda comments.
"Like I have always say, Pan never fails," Felix smirks, as everyone snap their head at his direction, to find him freed from his bonds.
Elphaba tightens her grip on her broom, ready to fight. Next to her, Red growls deep in her throat, also ready to jump the arrogant teen. There was no way he could have gotten free, but they weren't going to let their guard again.
"Pan will fail," Wendy argues. She has faith in Regina and Emma. Emma is the savior. She will stop Pan's madness.
The Lost Boys who were tied up were standing up, free from their bonds as well.
Pulling out his sword, Charming gets ready to fight, along with Tinkerbell. Glinda puts faith in them, hoping her words got through, but when he move forward to attack, her heart sank. Quickly pulling out her wand, ready to do what is necessary to protect her friends.
Felix motions to the loyal Lost Boys, signaling them to advance against Henry's rescue team.
Elphaba swings her broom like a bat, knocking a boy off his feet. Murmuring a spell under her breath, she slams her broom on the ground, creating a burst of wind, blasting everyone off their feet, including her teammates. But the affect seem to have Elphaba winded, and her eyes rolling to the back of head, dropping dead on the dirt ground.
"Hey!" Grumpy complains, as he gets back on his feet.
Glinda rushes to her lover's side, she falls down to her knees. Worry sky rocketed upon seeing Elphaba's green skin paler than normal.
"The magic in Neverland has been poisoned," Wendy can feel a change in the air. She has a feeling Pan was able to get Henry's heart.
"Your magic has become useless," Felix smirks knowingly. "It shall fire back at you."
Glinda thinks back to the spell Elphaba casted. It should have created a tornado, but instead the wind shot up, and the tornado was created within her mind. Feeling her lover's head, she discovers that it is burning. Felix isn't lying, he was speaking the truth. It didn't make her feel better.
Not worrying about what just happened, getting to Henry was their main concern. The Shadow has dropped Henry's body, hovering over it. Regina creates a fireball in her palm, flickering at them, one after another. The Shadow dodges the fireballs, as Regina kept pace, not wasting time, pushing him away from her son.
Tiger Lily and Emma let Regina handle the shadow, they move forward to Pan. Tiger Lily aims, and shoot, as Emma charges at him. Swing her sword, Pan laughs as he easily dodges the two attempts to kill him.
"You don't have it in you," Pan comments, pushing Emma down to the ground with his magic. The magic that is running through his veins were unbelievable. It felt great. So much power was held within Henry's heart.
"Really?" Emma lifts an eyebrow at the challenge. Using her magic, and use her sword to gust out wind, when she slices the air. She didn't know many offense spells, but she knew how to channel her magic in her weapon. Pan stumble a bit from the force, but stayed on his feet. Moving fast,
"What the hell did you do?" Emma growls, her sword ready to stab Pan in the heart.
"I didn't do anything," Pan raises his hands in mock surrender. "It was Henry who ripped his own heart out."
"Henry wouldn't do that," Emma knew her son. Henry wouldn't have done it. He's too much like Regina in that regard. Mills don't do anything without reason.
"Just sprinkled a little star dust, nothing to be worry about," Pan smirks.
"Damn you," Tiger Lily curses, and takes shot at her leader, but Pan caught it before it plung into his chest, into his heart.
"It isn't my fault that he wanted to a hero," Pan says, as he burn the arrow to ash.
Reaching for another arrow, she comes up empty-handed. Anger boils her blood, this was the final straw to the native American. "You don't deserve her," Tiger Lily states, referring to his love for Wendy.
"But there isn't anything you can do about it," Pan states, before lifting off his feet, hovering. "With the heart of the truest believer, there is nothing I can't do, or have."
During the interaction between Pan, Emma and Tiger Lily, Regina flicks her wrist, throwing fireball after fireball. Each shot, she's getting closer and closer in landing a hit. She keeps notice of her surroundings, not wanting to be corner, or let the Shadow come close to her. She holds back in throwing another fireball when the Shadow comes to hover next to Pan. Breathing heavily, Regina stares coldly at the teen.
"The only way you'll be with Henry is in death," Pan says, before he left the four.
"Hey!" Emma shouts, calling Pan's attention before he flies out of the skull shape cave's eye. Knowing the odds, Emma still throws her sword at the teen, with all her strength.
At the speed it was thrown at him, Pan barely dodges the sharp blade as it ends up cutting open his chest. The sword stab into the back behind him as he hiss. Damn the savior to be able to gaze him with the sharp blade. She defiantly lived up to her title.
Looking back at the sword that almost took his life, he wiggles up and down from the great force that plunge into the solid rock.
"We will find a way to kill you," Regina vows, when she kneels beside Henry's body.
Pan snorts, before leaving the cave. He had better things than to waste time on them. Once he has Wendy at his side, he'll handle them later.
Sighing in relief, she is finally able put her attention on her unconscious son. Regina lifts his head and places it on her lap. Checking his heart pulse, and not finding any, she had to fight against her dark urges. Destroying Neverland wasn't looking so bad of an idea at this point. Slowly waving her hand over his body, she places a spell over his body.
"This preservation spell will keep him in this condition," Regina clues Emma in as she kneels beside her and run her fingers through Henry's hair.
"How much time do we have to get Henry's heart back?"
"An hour at most," Regina answers, choking on her feelings. This was the feeling she tried to avoid when her mother was in town, the feeling of despair at a big threat.
Emma cups Regina's face into her hands, looking into her lover's eyes. "Hey, listen to me. Our hearts is still beating. We still have breath in our lungs. We still have a shot. Don't give up. We can do this."
Review please. Comments, ideas, thoughts, characters, etc. Positive or Negative. It is all welcomed. I read them all. You can also PM me if you like with any concerns.
I'll have the next chapter up soon. I am dying to write the mid-finale episode. I have a pretty good twist in my opinion.
