Chapter fifty, the big 5-0! While this is a time to celebrate, I will also be taking a bit of a break. Not too long, two weeks max. Just need to see how the Manga plays out more.
With the second invasion underway, which side has the x-factor to win? Plus some shocking arrivals and an invasion of another sort may tip the scales.

Hawk's Story: Bleach
Chapter 50
Meiko was pacing back and forth at the staircase to the Soul Society. "What do I do? What do I do? What do I do?" She muttered to herself. She knew Hawk was going to get hurt if he was alone, but she also knew the General would punish her if she left. "God damn it!" She shouted.
"Meiko."
She turned to see the General standing there. "General Roshi? Don't worry, I'm not going..." She was interrupted when the General tossed her something. It looked like Ichigo's Substitute Shinigami Badge. Her eyes widened in shock. "Wait, this is..."
"The Soul King has given his permission."
"B-but I still can't control it yet."
"When one's desire to protect overcomes all other emotions, then they can do anything. Believe in yourself Meiko."
She looked down at the badge and smiled, before pressing it against her chest. Her eyes glowed red for a moment and a red stigma went across her chest, only to fade away. "Thank you General. I guess it's up to me to protect my boys." She turned and jumped down the center of the spirialing staircase.
The General sighed. "Good luck, Meiko. The Owl is waiting for you."

As the battles raged on, the Soul Society was again at a disadvantage . Squad 12 had been invaded by one of the Sternritter, without him breaking the barrier. Luckily Captain Kurotsuchi emerged from his hidden chamber wearing a strange glowing outfit. He explained it negated the Quincy 'Shadows' and that sneak attacks would not work on him. The Sternritter took his leave, because he had no intentions of fighting a captain.
That's when Kisuke finally returned. After a short witty exchange between Kisuke and Mayuri, Kisuke asked for his help. He needed to Squad 12 to deliver his Shadow Infiltration Pills. When a Captain who Bankai was stolen eats one of these pills it temporarily Hollowfies their Bankai, thus poisoning the Quincys.
The pills were sent to everyone with a Bankai, to prevent theirs from being stolen. Hitsugaya recieved his just in time. Cang Du, the Quincy who had Hitsugaya's Bankai, had been injected with the Hollowfication and now Hitsugaya's Bankai was rejecting him. Cang Du had no choice but to release Hitsugaya's Bankai and kill him normally. However, the poison was taking effect and it gave the Hollowfied Hitsugaya his chance to defeat Cang Du. His intentions were to save Matsumoto, but he lost consciousness due to blood loss.
With this turn of events Juha had his Quincys release the stolen Bankai in favor of their Vollstandig. Now the hope was that Shinigami and Quincys were on equal footing.
...
BK-9 stood over Soi Fon's battered body. Even though he'd lost her Bankai, Soi Fon was too hurt to counter attack. "I will now dissected for more Daten on this Eternal Flash Cry." BK-9 reached down towards her, but was hit hard in the side of the head. He regained his footing only to see a bloody Hawk standing in his place.
"Don't you touch her." Hawk growled.
BK-9 tilted his head in confusion. "You had returned to the King's Realm, but you are here. How is that possible?"
Hawk flung the blood from his arms and pulled out his Zanpakuto. "I'm not here to answer some cheap robot."
"Is that..." Before he could finish, BK-9's head fell neatly off his shoulders.
"What the hell?" Hawk muttered.
"Greetings Wanderer." BK-9's body was pushed aside revealing Domon.
"You saved me the trouble of finding your ass."
Domon chuckled. "You use the Forbidden Flash Step to get here, didn't you?" Hawk didn't answer. "You know that means your muscles are torn to shreds and you can't even put up a fight. But don't misunderstand my appearance here. I've come for the woman."
Hawk looked to see Vergil standing over Soi Fon, but looking over was Hawk's mistake. Domon appeared infront of him and sent a series of palms into his chest. Hawk spit up blood before falling to his knees. "I can't move."
"Such a wonderful technique. It belongs to the Feng Clan. I did modify it to fit my needs however." Domon bragged. "Vergil, grab the woman."
"Yes Sir." Vergil reached down to pick her up, but had to jump out of the way of a gust of wind.
Domon sighed. "I expected you to stay out of this."
"Then you are a fool. I may not approve of her choices, but she's still my daughter." Shang told him.
"Vergil, handle this."
"Right away." Vergil changed in and swung his sword at Shang. Shang blocked it with his armored forearm, but was pushed back. Vergil closed in to give Domon time to retrieve Soi Fon.
"Put her down!" Shang shouted trying to reach Domon.
"Stupid body! Move damn you!" Hawk cursed mentally.
"Wanderer, I expect to see you very soon. That is if you want to see your woman again." With that Domon disappeared with Soi Fon.
"I guess I'll finish you quickly now." Vergil told Shang.
Shang jumped back and Vergil felt something press against his back. "Sup, Big Brother. Moving is not in your best interest." Dante told him. Pressed against his back with Dante's Thunder Roar Sear Gun and surrounding him were the other Royal Guards. Vergil looked back and fourth before putting his hands up in defeat. "Smart move."
...
Tai led his new troops through his dimensional door and towards Wandenreich. "How far is this place?" Grimmjow complained.
"Don't worry. Once we cross into the Soul Society it's easy to get there." Tai explained.
"What does the Soul Society have to do with their hideout?" Ulquiorra asked.
"Because it's basically in the same place. We just have to cross the shadows to get there."
"Pfft, your stupid answers are like your Brother's. Vague and annoying." Grimmjow told him, earning a chuckle from Tai.
"We're almost there. Get ready." Tai told them. "Halibel, I'm coming for you."
They burst out of the opening and landed infront of a ice covered building. "Is this it?" Grimmjow asked.
"Yeah, they call it Silbern." Tai answered. They walked up to the front door, but no one seemed to notice them. "Should we knock?" Tai joked.
"Allow me." Gantenbainne stepped forward. "Shout, Dragra!" A huge cloud enveloped him as he released his resureccion. He slammed his fists together and pressed them against the gate. "Rugir del Dragon!" The gate crumbled away, leaving them free to enter. "That should do." Gantenbainne said.
"Yeah it should!" Tai cheered. "So here's the plan, Yammi, Gantenbainne, the Tres Beastie and Ashido will stand guard here and let us know if anyone shows up. Us five will go save Halibel and kill anything in our path." They were slightly taken back by Tai's cheerful demeanor. "Does that plan work?" He asked cautiously.
"J-just don't take too long." Apache told him.
Tai smirked. "I wouldn't dream of it." With that he, Grimmjow, Ulquiorra, Starrk and Nnoitra headed into the palace.
