"What's his name?"

"Tea."
"Right away ma'am."
I watched the waitress scamper off. Idly, my finger traced the lip of the tea cup on the table. The outside was frigidly cold, while the inside of the small tea shop was warm and cozy. I almost didn't want to go back out into the white weather. But Takuma had insisted…
I glanced at the bathrooms then back down to my tea cup. Krokon tea, I mused, sounds distantly familiar. Maybe I visited it on my travels?
My eyes trailed over to Takuma's bag. I half wondered why he brought such a small thing and what was inside it. I had just gotten off from the graduation ceremony when Takuma had practically kidnapped me to go have a 'spot of tea'. He was incredibly flustered when he randomly exclaimed during our date that he had to use the restroom.
For half an hour.
It was suspicious, but I was content to watch the snow falling outside. My thoughts wandered to Akatsuki's and Ruka's wedding. It has been grand event, surprising me that they even bothered to invite me or my friends. Rima and Senri was officially a couple and Yuki sported a small diamond ring on a very certain finger. Zero would not say anything, though his brother was ecstatic and said they could 'double date', thus leading to mushy gushy scenes between him and Maria.
I smirked amusedly. What a strange little group of friends.
A vibration from my pocket caught me off guard, leading me to fumble with the small cell phone. It had been a graduation present from Takuma's parents. They wanted to make sure they kept in touch with me (insert suggestive look at me and the blonde to my right) and they ended up having to get one for Akemi too due to her complaining.
I flipped it opened and glowered at the caller. With a sigh, I clicked accept.
"I JUST heard from Toma OMIGOSH CONGRADULATIONS SHI I GET TO CALL YOU MY SISTER-"
"Akemi," I groaned, "Shut the hell up. What are you even talking about?"
There was a squeal, "Is it diamond? Tell me it's a diamond. I'll kill him if it's not a diamond!"
I slowly blinked, "…what?"
Distant whispers in the background before she gave an 'oh, shit'.
"What?"
"Nothing!" she sounded nervous, "Totally misled you. Sorry about that. I meant to ask if you had any plans today."
"I'm on a date at the moment."
"Oh really? Is Takuma there?"
"No. He's been in the bathroom for the last forty minutes."
"…what?"
I blinked at her tone, "Is something wrong? Is he having stomach issues?"
A pause. "No." It sounded like she was grinding her teeth together, "But when I'm done with him I'm sure he's going to have more than just stomach issues…"
"What?"
"Nothing. Enjoy your date. If Takuma doesn't show up in the next five minutes chances are he ran away like a baby. See you later!"
The line went dead.

"Shizumi-san, what will you like to wear today?"
I yawned and waved Himaya away, "A kimono, I don't care what it is."
She nodded and turned back down the hallway. Straightening my nightgown, I sleepily made my way towards the kitchen. I entered the main hall, groping for the railing of the staircase. Once I found it, I took my first step down.
"You are the light of my life!"
I paused. I opened my eyes a bit more to take in the scene before me. For some reason, a group of boys were converged at the bottom of the stairs. The twins, Senri, Raito, even Kaito were there. They were watching intently as…Takuma kneeled…before Hanabusa…
With a ring.
"I'd give my life for you," Takuma continued passionately, "I've always loved you from the moment I laid eyes on you. Please…marry me!"
In a high pitched voice, Hanabusa giggled, yes giggled, "Oh, Takuma, I accept your love!"
My eyebrow twitched.
What?
"Am I interrupting something?"
All of them jumped, Takuma shooting to his feet. Both him and Hanabusa were beat red from mortification. The boys were pale.
"Shizumi!" Takuma cried, "This isn't what it looks like!"
"Are you sure?" I narrowed my eyes on them, "it just looked like you confessed your love to Hanabusa."
Both boys choked. Hanabusa looked ready to start foaming at the mouth.
"I was practicing!" Takuma denied.
I raised an eyebrow, "For what?"
"He's in a play." Kaito answered smoothly. All the boys slumped when I gave a slow nod. I didn't take Takuma for the actor type…
"What play is it?"
They were pale again. Raito coughed, "The Headless Horseman."
I furrowed my eyebrows. Did such an intimate confession happen in the story? I shrugged. It was alright with me.
"I'm looking forward to it." I smiled, turning away.
I heard a sigh of relief before I went in search of waffles.

Akemi sighed, "Toma won't buy me things."
I snorted, "He's your boyfriend, not your keeper."
"Same difference," She waved of lazily, "Mou, Shi, I'm so jealous of you."
I blinked, "Why?"
Why would anyone be jealous of me?
"You've got the love." She winked before moaning, "if only that love would grow a pair. You're too…you to talk and if the other doesn't your both gonna be in this retarded limbo for the rest of your sad miserable lives."
"…what?"
"Nothing." She yawned, "By the way, I'm your best girl right?"
I wasn't sure what she was asking but just nodded anyways. She fist pumped, "Woohoo! Take that, Maria!"
I decided to just roll with it.
Whatever it was would come clear soon, right?
Right.

Takuma was imitating a statue.
He was pale, he couldn't make words, and his hands were glued firmly behind his back. We were back at the tea stand, except this time, he wasn't in the bathroom, but trying to speak some alien dialect to me.
Frankly, I was irritated. For the past month this had been happening. People tossing me secretive glances, the boys running away the moment they see me and Yuki won't stop giving me looks with that smirk! Takuma was the worst of them all. He hadn't even spoken to me unless it was an excuse to get away.
I was starting to get annoyed. No, I was already annoyed.
I was getting pissed.
I sighed, "Is it something bad?"
He blinked.
I scratched the back of my head, "Did I do something bad? Or, maybe, something I said? Because I'm sick of this secretive treatment everyone has going on. I just want things to go back to normal."
He opened his mouth, closed it, then quietly spoke, "You like things the way they are?"
"Well yeah," I glanced away, "its nice being around you and everyone. I don't like it when I'm avoided constantly, no matter how selfish that sounds, I don't like feeling…lonely. So, will you tell me?"
He looked startled, "What?"
"What's wrong?" I leaned in eagerly, "Can you tell me?"
His face turned red, "Uh-uh…Shizumi…"
"Yes?"
He lowered his head and whispered something. I tilted my head, "Huh?"
"I love you!"
I jumped.
"Please…" he kept his head bowed and revealed the object in his hands, "Marry me."
A ring.
Oh.
Wait.
. . .
What?
I gaped at him. He slowly tilted his head up, his eyes flashing with anxiety and hope, "…Shizumi?"
I swallowed thickly. I opened my mouth but no words came out. I shook my head before exhaling slowly. Calm down. Think. Compute.
Right.
. . .
I smiled.
. . .
"Of course."
. . .
A grin broke out on his face and he swept me up into a hug, twirling me around so quickly and placing kisses on my cheek.
"I love you too!"
And I meant it.

.
.
I scowled.
"Why can't I just wear a kimono?"
Yuki rolled her eyes, smacking my arm back into the air to take proper measurements, "Dresses are for weddings. Kimono's are for festivals."
I twitched. I was seventeen. There was no reason to speak to me like a child anymore. I was the same height as her!
Akemi cackled from the corner of the room where Maria sat with her, "Shi, you're gonna be in a white dress. You'll be fine! You'll blend in with the walls."
Yuki frowned, "Maybe black is a good idea…"
"It's not a funeral, Yuki." Rima remarked, still browsing the rows of clothes Himaya had magically pulled out. Ika smiled from the other side of me.
"I think a kimono would be a great idea too, but, um, I'm not a traditionalist."
Then why even voice your opinion? I sighed. A chill went up my spine and I glared over my shoulder as Himaya arrived with more pins and needles to stick painfully in me. That familiar glint in her eye that appears when she's near clothes was now demonic glee. I felt myself pale.
Who the hell put her in charge again? Oh yeah. Takuma did.
Stupid. Stupid. Hate my life. Stupid.
Yuki sighed in exasperation, "It won't last that long if you keep twitching."
"Don't start, Kiryu," I hissed, "I distinctly remember your shopping. You ran away twice."
Her cheeks tinted pink and she scowled, "Right. Whatever. If it makes you feel better, I'll get in a dress too."
Himaya's head snapped in her direction, "Brilliant idea, Yuki-san."
I choked, "N-no, Himaya, don't-!"
Too late. She already had five dresses in hand and was staring evilly at all the other females in the room. They stared at her warily, or in Akemi's case, horror. I was tempted to yell at them to run. But, I thought deceitfully, I wasn't going down alone.
In a record breaking ten seconds, everyone was in their undergarments.
"KYA-!" Ika squealed, hiding in a rack of clothes. Rima stared blankly at herself in the mirror. Maria was hiding behind Yuki whose face was dark red. Poor Akemi was in the corner with a dark aura over her head. I sighed, rubbing my arms as Himaya started to practically dig through a mountain of clothes to find something that'd fit them.
"Huh." Rima murmured, "Never thought it'd heal." She gently traced a small white mark on her stomach. A memory sparked in me, of a possessed Senri stabbing her with his blood whip.
"S-S-Shimouto," Maria whimpered, abandoning Yuki in favor of hiding behind me, "Don't look!"
"Maria," I grumbled, "Calm down."
"Yeah." Akemi muttered, staring dejectedly at the ground, "You're still wearing a bra and panties."
We stared at her.
She was wearing boxers. I furrowed my eyebrows.
"Are you a cross dresser?"
"Wha-? NO!" She squawked before pointing accusingly at Yuki, "This is your fault! You and your suggestion set the witch on her broom!"
"ME?!" Yuki shrieked, vainly trying to cover her chest, "This is Shizumi's fault for getting married!"
My eyebrow twitched. Real mature guys.
"E-everyone," A nearby clothing rack stuttered, "calm down. We're still all girls here. There's no reason to panic. You have been in an Onsen before, right? This should be no different. Except, instead of water, there's clothes."
Says the one that's hiding.
"I've returned," Himaya announced, holding up-oh god-, "with Lolita dresses."
The frills.
Oh god, the frills.
"Himaya!" Akemi squealed as the devil maid inched towards her, "Don't. You. Dare!"
She was tackled. "WAH!"
Maria had once again attached herself to my back and Yuki looked ready to make a getaway through the door. We had rented out an entire room to change and the boys were across the hall getting Takuma fitted. It was a small chance any of them would walk in.
However.
The minute she tried to run.
Zero walked in.
I gawked as she fell back, the silver haired boy crying out in an alarm and attempting to catch his wife. They smacked to the ground and I reached up to cover Maria's eyes at the sight.
Senri, Ichiru, Kaito, Hanabusa, and Takuma peaked in, "Hey, Zero-"
They stared.
Hiamya looked like she was on top of Akemi. I looked to be giving Maria a piggyback ride. Rima was posing in the mirror. Ika had just taken a step out of the clothes. And Yuki…
…was currently being groped by her husband.
My eyebrow twitched as blow dripped from their noses. I felt my face heat up as Takuma seemed to be staring way too intently at me.
"GET OUT!" Yuki screamed, pushing a frozen Zero off her, "RIGHT. NOW!"
The boys were too stunned to move. Himaya appeared- her favorite weapon suddenly in hand and with an absolutely menacing look on her face. They paled as she revved the machine. They turned and ran, Ichiru dragging his in-shock brother away. Akemi was stiff on the ground, right next to where Ika had fainted. Rima didn't even look bothered, her cellphone out and capturing some of her poses.
Yuki was staring at the ceiling in mortification, "Zero just…"
I sighed and uncovered Maria's eyes, who whimpered. "Congratulations, Yuki. You just brought sexual tension to your relationship."
She groaned.
"Never…" Akemi moaned, "Never get married. Shi, remain innocent. Please…"
"Am I the only one not freaking out here?"
"Shimouto," Maria whispered, "your face is really red."
"…yeah. I think the kimono works just fine."

I stared at the mirror.
From the kitchen, Takuma came up behind me, yawning, "'Zumi, what's wrong?"
I swallowed thickly. It was faint, so very faint but right there I could sense energy different from Takuma's and mine…
He paused, taking the sight of my ragged hair and pale face. His eyebrows furrowed and he set his coffee down to come over to me, "Zumi?"
"Taku…" My voice was hoarse.
"Yeah?"
His arms wrapped around me when I didn't respond, his warm breath against the side of my neck, "What's bothering you? It's our honeymoon. You should have fun."
I reached up to grip his bicep. He frowned, "Please tell me."
I slowly met my onyx eyes with his green.
"I'm pregnant."
And thus-
Babies.
Plot twist maybe? Here's something completely irrelevant- I watched Mulan for the first time in my life. Suddenly imagine Takuma singing 'we are men' when Shizumi confessed her pregnancy.
. . . Yeah.
