Episode Synopsis: Tina, Artie, Blaine and Sam are forced to say goodbye to McKinley when graduation day approaches. Rachel finds out her father is in the hospital, leaving her in a position to mend fences with them. Finn confronts Marley about the new revelations and invites her to spend a summer in New York City. Puck and Marley take their relationship public after hiding it, with mixed results. New Directions is disbanded, which causes the members to think about the times they had in Glee Club.

Twitter News: Want to keep up with Glee: The New York Story and find out spoilers, songs and more? Well, Glee: The New York Story now has a Twitter! You can follow it at GleeTheNYStory. :) (The link is in my profile)
And one more thing: Season 1 and 2 had 22 episodes in the season. Due to popular demand, Season 3 will have 24 episodes! I don't know if there will be a Season 4 yet, I'm still waiting to see how Season 3 does. I'm taking this season by season like an actual T.V. show, so...we'll see. :)
Also like I did in Season Two, I'll take any questions about Season Three and I'll answer them just before next week's episode. It could be about the characters, your favorite character's upcoming storylines, etc. Don't be shy to ask! :)
Now, here's the Season 3 premiere and enjoy everyone!
{Tina walks down the halls of McKinley as she smiles at everyone, holding letters in her hand}
Tina Voice Over:
Five days until graduation, five days until the end of High School, five days of being in New Directions and five days until I leave the halls of McKinley. I thought I had a pretty good time in McKinley, despite all the slushies and teasing about how we were losers. Well look at me now, sure I may not be leaving the school as a National Champion but I can say that I know where my life is heading. I had been applying to colleges all year and I finally got my letters from Brown, NYU, Harvard and even Yale, where Quinn goes. I want to get out of this town so bad…I think there are bigger things for me than Lima, Ohio. I mean look at all of the amazing things Rachel and the others are doing in New York. Rachel's on Broadway, Finn won a National Championship with his Glee Club and gets the chance to play Rachel's husband on Broadway, Brittany's in Julliard and Kurt has his own cover band. I'm sure Santana and Puck will find their way…but I do worry I could end up just like them, not knowing my sense of direction. There is one thing that scares me though…the thought of not finding my way after graduation…that once I leave these doors…it's my future and I'll have to find a place in the world for me. I don't know what I'm going to be doing as soon as I leave…and that's what terrifies me the most.
Tina entered the McKinley choir room as the members of New Directions were playing the instruments in the classroom. She couldn't help but smile at her friends and they were all having a good time. They didn't realize that in a few years they were going to be in the same position as her—not knowing where their futures were heading and almost feeling stuck. As Tina stood by the door, she heard footsteps behind her, causing her to turn around and stare up at her good friend... Finn!
"You okay, Tina?" Finn asked, stuffing his hands in his pockets.
"Yeah…" Tina nodded her head, still gazing at Finn. "What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be in New York for the rest of the school year?"
"The school year ended a couple days ago, so Rachel and I thought we'd come and visit you guys…make sure you got a proper sendoff from McKinley." Finn smiled at her. "I hope it's okay."
"Oh, it's more than okay." Tina agreed, smiling at her friend. Everyone turned to the door and spotted Finn, realizing he was standing in the classroom.
"Finn Hudson in the house, yo!" Artie cheered as he, Sam and Blaine made their way over to him.
"Finn, what are you doing here?" Sam wondered.
"I can proudly say I completed my freshman year of college." Finn smiled at his friends, realizing that they were grinning back at him. "I came here because I wanted to make sure you guys properly said goodbye to McKinley…and I wanted to show my mom my report card. She's a sucker for these things." Finn pulled out his report card and showed Tina, Artie, Sam and Blaine his grades.
"Straight A's? Even in dance?" Sam raised an eyebrow.
"I fought tooth and nail to get that A grade." Finn admitted, putting his report card away. "The dance teacher's a bitch."
"Don't let her hear you say that." Artie teased. "She could have cameras everywhere…" Finn's smile diminished as he turned around towards the choir room, trying to make sure there weren't any cameras so Cassandra July could hear him. Mr. Schuester entered the choir room and had to admit he was surprised to see Finn here.
"Finn!" Mr. Schuester laughed slightly, looking at his former student.
"Hey Mr. Schue." Finn walked over to him, embracing him in a hug. Mr. Schuester looked at his former student, a smile appearing on his face.
"So how was the end of freshman year?" Mr. Schuester asked.
"Oh, it was great." Finn beamed. "Everyone treated the Glee Club like we were champions, which was everything I ever hoped for. Madame Tibideaux said since the Glee Club won Nationals, the school board is going to raise the budget, meaning they have to take the money out of somewhere else…"
"And where are they going to take the money out of?" Sam asked.
"Dance class." Finn cheekily said. "Cassandra was so mad, I'll tell you that."
"Well, we're so happy for you Finn." Mr. Schuester said. "By the way, did you come alone or is Rachel here with you?"
"Oh, Rachel's here." Finn chuckled. "So is the whole gang…I'm just the only one in the choir room." Mr. Schuester patted Finn's back before making his way over to the white board. Finn leaned on the piano as Mr. Schuester wrote the words "Goodbye". Finn knew what this lesson was about…it was about saying goodbye to Tina, Artie, Blaine and Sam as they made their way into the real world and graduated from the halls of McKinley.
"I can't believe we're having this lesson again…" Tina slightly whispered. "Only this time, it's for us." Mr. Schuester nodded his head slowly, gazing at the rest of the Glee Club.
"You guys are going to find a way to say goodbye to the seniors, the seniors will find a way to say goodbye to you…" Mr. Schuester sighed. "That's the only thing we have left to do."
"Mr. Schue?" Finn raised his hand slightly, causing Mr. Schuester to look at him. "Do you mind if I sing them something? I mean, I know I don't go here anymore and I'm not in this Glee Club but…they've been a huge part of me for the last few years and…it's because of them that I'm the strong person I am today."
"Of course, Finn." Mr. Schuester said, motioning for Finn to come to the front of the classroom. Finn looked at them, giving them one of his signature half grins.
"When I was at my lowest, I remember you guys sat me in this choir room and made me feel like I was special...you guys let me know despite everything that was going on in my life, it was all eventually going to be okay. I don't know what else to say but thank you." Finn grabbed the guitar that was on the side as he sat down on the stool. "You guys sang with me when I needed someone, and now I want to return the favor. This song is for all you guys…anyone can join in if they know it…"
{Finn starts playing the guitar and he looks at the Glee Club with a saddened smile. Everyone looks at him and they stare at each other but Finn finds his eyes wandering over to Marley as she continues to look at him}
[Finn]
Another turning point a fork stuck in the road
Time grabs you by the wrist directs you where to go
{Blaine stands up from his seat and looks at Finn as he sings. Finn smiles at Blaine and he nods his head while singing}
[Blaine]
So make the best of this test and don't ask why
It's not a question but a lesson learned in time
[Finn and Blaine]
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right
I hope you had the time of your life
[Blaine](With New Directions Harmonizing)
So take the photographs and still frames in your mind
[Blaine with Finn]
Hang it on a shelf with good health and good time
Tattoos of memories and dead skin on trial
For what it's worth, it was worth all the while
{Rachel walks in the choir room and sees Finn and Blaine singing. She leans against the door and she smiles at Finn as Finn continues to sing}
[Finn and Blaine]
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right
I hope you had the time of your life
It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right
I hope you had the time of your life
[Finn]
It's something unpredictable
[Blaine]
But in the end it's right
[Finn and Blaine]
I hope you had the time of your life
The members of New Directions started to clap as Finn put the guitar to the side, giving Blaine a smile. Even Mr. Schuester was trying to wipe the few tears he had. Finn just wanted to sing a song…he didn't want to make everyone cry.
"Wow, that was beautiful Finn…" Tina continued to clap as Finn nodded his head slowly.
"Thank you, Finn…" Blaine softly said, causing Finn to smile back at them.
"Thank you guys." Finn whispered back. Tina, Blaine, Artie and Sam made their way over to Finn as they got into a group hug, with Rachel still watching from the doorway.
"All right guys, all right." Kitty jested, motioning over towards Rachel. "I think we borrowed her husband long enough." Finn turned around to spot Rachel standing right by the door, giving him a grin. She waved towards her husband and exited to the choir room with the smile still evident on her face.
"Now we have to find a song to outdo Finn and Blaine." Ryder whispered to Jake and Unique as he got up from his seat to head out of the choir room. Jake turned around, hoping that Marley was staring at him, but she wasn't even giving him attention. She continued to put her stuff in her bag, still keeping her eyes away from Jake.
"Marley, we have to talk about this…" Jake whispered, causing Marley to look up with a cold expression.
"No we don't." Marley grabbed her backpack as she put it over her shoulder. "You made your decision and now you have to live with it. I'm not interested in getting back with you…and I probably never will. I don't feel the same way you do anymore...besides...you know I'm with Noah now. You should have treated me better. But you didn't..."
"Okay, you cheated on me too...with my brother...before you started dating my brother." Jake pointed out.
"I never would of had to cheat if you didn't make me feel worthless." Marley whispered, glaring at Jake in anger. "Noah loves me...and I think he loves me more than you ever could."
"He said he loves you?" Jake scoffed. "Please, Puck's a player. He's probably flirting with one of the cheerios right now while you're trying to plead your case and say he's a good guy. This is all just part of his plan to have sex with you. This relationship means nothing to him."
"Wow...you really don't know your brother." Marley rolled her eyes. "He hasn't brought up sex once in our relationship and it's been almost two months. I'm pretty sure if he was interested in sex, he would have told me so by now."
"It doesn't matter if he brings it up. You would never let him have sex with you anyway...you're too uptight." Jake smirked.
"I am not uptight." Marley grimaced. "I'm waiting for the right time and I'm making sure he's the right person."
"Yeah, how long would that take? 20 years? He's not going to wait that long. If us Puckerman's don't get what we want...we vamoose." Jake said.
"He's not like that." Marley growled under her breath. "He's not like that at all. He loves and cares about me...and he's never going to hurt me. He sets a low standard for himself...he's actually an amazing person and he's a sweetheart, something I see that I don't think anyone else does. He's grown up, Jake...it's time you do to." Marley started to head out of the choir room, but Finn cleared his throat slightly. He didn't hear Marley and Jake's conversation, but he knew that Jake was getting on her nerves, meaning it was time for him to step in. That and he wanted to talk to Marley about a certain letter he received when he went back to New York after Nationals.
"Hey Marley, can I talk to you for a minute?" Finn asked, noticing Jake was still here. Jake kept his gaze on Finn as Finn slowly pointed towards the choir room door. "Alone?"
"All right, all right, I get it." Jake sighed, taking his backpack and walking out the door, taking one last look at Marley. As soon as the door closed, Finn stared at Marley while motioning for her to take a seat. Marley sat down in the chair that was in front of him as Finn went into his pocket to pull out a letter. As Finn opened the letter and eyed Marley, he noticed she was slightly shifting in her seat, almost as if she was uncomfortable.
"Do you have any idea why I got a letter from the morgue where my dad was in your name?" Finn questioned her. Marley slowly looked away from Finn as he continued to speak. "I got a letter saying that my dad…had more than one kid…and the other kid was you. Do you know anything about this?" When Finn saw Marley's expression turning into guilt, Finn knew she knew something about it. "Marley, why didn't you say anything? You knew the whole time and you weren't going to tell me?"
"I wanted to tell you." Marley stared at him with sadness. "I really did…"
"Then why didn't you?" Finn sounded frustrated although he didn't mean to be.
"I was afraid that you wouldn't want anything to do with me." Finn heard Marley's voice break as he folded his hands together. His expression softened as she continued. "I was afraid that the relationship we had was going to change forever…and I didn't want to risk that. You're one of my best friends…and I didn't want to lose you in case you didn't want me as a sibling. I've seen stories about siblings not being accepting of others and I know that you had to adjust a lot when Kurt became your brother. I know this sounds a little silly but...I thought you'd abandon me." Marley moved her hair from her face as she looked away, but Finn simply got up and sat next to her.
"Marley, I'm not going to abandon you…" Finn softly said, putting his hand on top of hers. "And nothing about our relationship is going to change, I promise you. It's just…I'm a little shocked. This whole time I had a sibling I had no idea about…. It doesn't mean I don't want you as a sibling...as a matter of fact, I'm thrilled it's you out of all people." Finn and Marley shared a chuckle before Marley let out a sigh.
"Are you mad I didn't tell you?" Marley pondered, wringing her hands together.
"No." Finn shook his head with a smile on his face. "I'm not mad. From now on we're gonna be honest with each other. I'm never gonna stop loving you, not even for a minute, all right? So…come here…give your big brother a hug." Marley grinned and hugged Finn tightly, with Finn feeling multiple emotions. He was in shock, he was confused…but he was also content. If anything this was just another stepping-stone for Finn—and he was going to have to learn how to be a big brother to a seventeen-year-old girl.
Mr. Schuester entered Sue's office that afternoon after receiving an irate voice message that she was to speak with him. Mr. Schuester had to wonder what it was about…but it didn't take long to guess when he saw Sue holding a voodoo doll of him, using a knife to cut off the voodoo Mr. Schuester's arms. Sue looked up to see Mr. Schuester raising an eyebrow, but he didn't ask what Sue was doing. He was probably sure he didn't want to know.
"William, please take a seat." Sue motioned towards the chair. Mr. Schuester's glance was quizzical as he sat down in the chair, folding his hands together.
"What do you want now Sue?" Mr. Schuester wondered. Sue glanced over at Mr. Schuester, giving him a sigh.
"Do you have any idea how much you're Glee Club embarrassed themselves, how much they embarrassed this school?" Sue's eyebrows furrowed as she continued to scold Mr. Schue. "They didn't even place in the top ten all because of Marley…"
"It was actually because of Bree…" Mr. Schuester's voice turned firm. "Bree pushed Marley and Marley was fed up, which she had every right to be. Ever since Bree has come into this school she has been nothing but a menace…and she had been bullying Marley nonstop…I should have done something about it but I didn't."
"Of course you didn't...you're thinking of multiple ways to be pedo-Will. I mean for crying out loud, your best friend is a 20 year old who's a freshman at NYADA-although I have no idea how he got in that school since he can't sing a lick. The school board called me William, and you're not going to be too happy with what they told me." Sue smirked. "They're not funding the Glee Club next year."
"What?" Mr. Schuester seemed surprised.
"That's right, you heard me." Sue smirked. "There's no more funding for the Glee Club which means it's time for you to find a new job where you can get uncomfortably close to young teenagers yet their parents find nothing wrong with it.…"
"Wait, huh?" Mr. Schuester still didn't understand.
"William, the Glee Club is cancelled." Sue finally stated, giving Mr. Schuester a satisfied smirk.
"No, that…that can't be possible." Mr. Schuester didn't want to believe it. "You can't do this!"
"I can and I will." Sue smirked, leaning back in her chair. "New Directions is no more. I heard you were doing a Goodbye assignment with the students…I think it's also an appropriate time to tell them New Directions is no more as well. Now…get the hell out of my office." Mr. Schuester looked shocked but did as Sue suggested. As Mr. Schuester left the office, he stared over at some of the members of New Directions, seeing they were in the middle of telling a story. Mr. Schuester heart began to sink; not only was he going to have to tell the seniors goodbye…but also the rest of the club.
After Sue had given Mr. Schuester the news that the Glee Club was disbanded, she figured she would take a nice drive to the nearest frozen yogurt shop to reward herself on finally crushing Mr. Schue's spirit. However, as Sue entered the school parking lot...her car was nowhere to be seen. She stared every which way for it, almost positive that was where she parked her car. She turned her head, noticing Puck and Kurt were sitting at one of the tables, playing chess. Sue knew there was something wrong with that picture-Puck never played chess in his life and he was sitting with Kurt out of all people! Sue stomped her feet over to where Kurt and Puck were, crossing her arms in anger.
"All right Puckerman, I'll give you to the count of three before I call the cops." Sue snarled. "Where's my car!"
"Your car?" Puck gazed at Sue, releasing a smirk. "I made good on my word, didn't I?"
"What the hell are you talking about, Puckerman?!" Sue yelled.
"I take my word seriously...I said I'd throw your car into a river if Bree did anything to harm Marley..." Puck folded his hands together as Kurt appeared completely amused. "Bree shoved Marley on stage and slept with her ex-boyfriend...and when I found Marley, she was rather hurt...so, I did what I had to do...I got revenge."
"You threw my car into a river?!" Sue screamed. Puck and Kurt laughed at Sue's question, although Sue didn't understand what was going on here.
"Oh Sue...there are no rivers in Lima..." Puck continued chuckling before his face turned serious. "I sold it."
"You sold my car?!" Sue growled. "Why would you do that?!"
"Because you put Bree in New Directions even when everyone said no, Marley cried so I figured that was enough reason to sell it. You made Marley's life hell, so now I'll make yours hell." Puck and Kurt continued to look amused. "If you want your car...you better buy it back."
"Who did you sell my car to?" Sue questioned, becoming panicked.
"I sold it to your baby daddy...Michael Bolton." Puck answered. "Yeah, I found his phone number in your office and when he found out you didn't want your car anymore, he took the first plane to Lima to buy it. You better call him and ask for it back before he turns it into a limo for him and his current girlfriend." Sue didn't wait for Puck to finish as she stormed back to the school and closed the door behind her. Kurt continued to hold in his laughter as Puck moved one of the chess pieces.
"So, how long do you think it will take Sue to realize the car is in the middle of the football field after you high-jacked it?" Kurt stifled a chuckle.
"In due time Kurt...in due time." Puck smirked as Kurt moved one of the chess pieces on the board.
"Ah, I love our dates to The Lima Bean." Rachel grinned from ear to ear as she and Finn entered The Lima Bean hand in hand. "It gives us time to get things off our chest and not be tempted to do 'grown up things' in the comfort of a bedroom if you catch my drift."
"Oh trust me, I catch your drift." Finn chuckled, sitting in a booth with Rachel. "I like coming here too…but I like coming with you more. You're my favorite person to go anywhere with." Rachel giggled as she stared at Finn, seeing he looked slightly distracted.
"Finn, are you okay?" Rachel wondered, leaning back in her chair. "You seem a little preoccupied."
"Me?" Finn pointed to himself, seeing Rachel was giggling slightly.
"Yes you…" Rachel reached over to grab Finn's hand, simply gazing into his eyes with a smile. "So, what's on your mind?" Finn let out a deep breath as he rubbed his temple with his free hand.
"You're not going to believe this, but…I found out Kurt isn't my only sibling." Finn said. "After my dad left my mom, he was in a relationship with another woman and he had a kid…and that was all before he went back to jail."
"Oh my gosh…" Rachel became concerned. "Are you okay?"
"I'm great." Finn nodded his head, smiling softly. "You're actually not going to believe it but I knew her all this time…"
"Please don't say it's me because I think that would be extremely creepy." Rachel tensed up with Finn chuckling this time.
"It's not you." Finn continued to laugh before it subsided. "It's Marley." Rachel continued to stare at Finn, seeing he was shrugging his shoulders slightly. "I got a letter when we went back to New York and it came from the morgue…I found out she was my half-sister."
"Did you talk to her about it?" Rachel wondered.
"She knew about it actually…but she was afraid I would look at her differently." Finn explained. "That's not the case and…I just realized I'm a big brother to a girl…oh boy…"
"What's the matter with that?" Rachel asked.
"It's different being a big brother to a girl than it is to Kurt for example." Finn said. "I have to be overprotective and…for another thing she's an actual girl."
"Oh Finn…" Rachel couldn't help but smile. "You're already a wonderful brother to Kurt, so what makes this any different? You're going to be a wonderful brother to Marley and she is going to love you for it. Kurt already loves you and he's not the only one…" Finn felt his mind go at ease as he pressed a kiss to Rachel's hand.
"I love you…" Finn muttered, still looking at his beautiful wife.
"I love you too…" Rachel grinned, gazing at Finn.
"So…" Finn cleared his throat slightly, still looking at her. "Anything you want to get off your chest since we're here?" Rachel considered what was on her mind, sending Finn a flirty look.
"Maybe over a dinner at Breadstix?" Rachel shrugged her shoulders.
"God, I love Breadstix." Finn said, causing Rachel to laugh. "It's a date my love." Rachel giggled but her laughter slightly diminished when she heard her phone ring.
"Oh, I'm sorry." Rachel went into her pocket to get her phone and her mouth turned into a frown when she saw who was calling. "It's my dad…"
"Pick it up." Finn assured her. "Maybe they just want to see how you're doing." Rachel let out a deep breath and put the phone to her ear while Finn held her hand.
"Hello?" Rachel sounded slightly annoyed, which surprised Finn. However, Rachel's face turned shocked as she continued to nod. "Oh my God, is he okay? Yeah…okay, I'll be right there." Rachel hung up the phone and ran a hand through her hair, as Finn became worried himself.
"Rachel? Is everything okay?" Finn wondered.
"I have to get to the hospital." Rachel muttered, getting out of her chair and heading towards the exit. Finn followed Rachel as they left The Lima Bean, with Finn grabbing Rachel's hand to get her to stop.
"Rachel…Rach, hey...what's going on?" Finn worried. Rachel stared at Finn for a moment and felt tears come to her eyes. Finn held Rachel close to him as she started crying, still wondering what was bothering her.
"My dad's in the hospital. He was in some type of accident." Rachel explained softly as Finn looked down at her. "Finn, I'm sorry. I have to go…"
"I'm going with you." Finn didn't take a second thought. "I'm going with you…I want to make sure you're all right." Rachel nodded her head slowly as Finn squeezed her hand. "Come on…" Rachel smiled softly at Finn as the two of them made their way to the hospital.
In the McKinley library, Tina walked by the desks, and had to admit she was surprised when she saw Artie writing something down on a sheet of paper. She sat in the seat across from him, noticing he was adjusting his wheelchair as his eyes stayed glued to the almost empty sheet of paper in front of him.
"What are you writing down?" Tina questioned while Artie fixed his glasses.
"My valedictorian speech." Artie explained. "What do you say to a bunch of people who slushied you, locked you in a port a potty and threw dirt at you for the last four years?"
"I don't know…that's hard." Tina shrugged her shoulders, noticing Artie was becoming frustrated.
"Seriously, I just feel like saying, I'd like to than Wikipedia, Google and Microsoft Word for doing my work for me. Peace out bitches!" Tina stifled her laughter, with Artie chuckling himself.
"Seriously, Sue would kill you if that was your speech." Tina and Artie burst out laughing, but their laugh fest was interrupted by Kitty and Ryder, who were coming towards them.
"Hey, Mr. Schuester issued an emergency meeting." Ryder said. Kitty followed Ryder and Artie felt a pit in his stomach as he watched Kitty go away.
"What's the matter?" Tina questioned as Artie started to roll past her. Tina got up from her seat and followed Artie, noticing he was still staring at Kitty. "Let me guess…you have to break up with Kitty, don't you?"
"I don't want to…" Artie admitted. "But you know what happens with graduation and everyone getting split apart. That and Kitty isn't going to graduate for another two years. I don't want to end up like Finn and Rachel, Kurt and Blaine, Santana and Brittany and Quinn and Puck."
"But Finn and Rachel are married…" Tina tried to say but Artie continued to speak.
"I'm just saying the odds are against high school seniors keeping a relationship with someone below them after they graduate. It's facts. It's one of the four things that are sure in this world; the other three are the Chicago Cubs haven't been in a World Series in the last 108 years, Miley Cyrus kissed a girl and she liked it and Justin Bieber is a self entitled brat."
"Artie, you don't know that…" Tina said. "I mean…you and Kitty could be happy together and I'm sure you can make it work…"
"Is that what you told Mike when he graduated?" Artie rolled along as Tina sighed.
"I really thought we were going to last forever." Tina slightly pouted. "I mean, if there's one thing I learned it's…" Tina and Artie heard familiar giggling and exchanged glances as they continued to make their way through the library. As they reached one of the aisles, they spotted Puck and Marley…and they were making out! "Well, well, well…" Tina turned towards Artie while Artie looked away.
"Did you see that coming?" Artie questioned.
"No, I didn't see that coming…" Tina motioned for Artie to follow her. As Artie and Tina left the library, Puck and Marley parted, and Marley couldn't help but giggle slightly.
"I don't know if we should be here…making out in a library," Marley smirked, running a hand through Puck's hair.
"It's the only place I could think of that was full of books and that no one would find us." Puck whispered, with Marley shaking her head with a smile. "I mean, if you don't want to make out with me with the two dogs on Where The Red Fern Grows watching, then fine..." Puck pointed to the book behind her with Marley stifling a giggle.
"Now, I didn't say that." Marley pecked his lips, thinking about Jake's words in the choir room. She wasn't sure if she should take Jake's words with a grain of salt. She loved Puck-so why was she letting Jake get in the way of her happiness. "This can't be happening."
"What are you talking about?" Puck wondered, noticing Marley was turning away.
"I mean, this can't be happening, really?" Marley wondered. "You and me? I mean…I dated your brother and that didn't exactly end well…I don't want you to think that you're some rebound because you're not. I love you, and I hope you know that..."
"I know, and I love you too." Puck assured her. "Look…we've been having a blast these last few months, right…"
"We spent half of the time kissing." Marley chided as Puck chuckled.
"Yeah, I know…but…I can't help it." Puck shrugged. "You're like the first person I felt this way about…where I didn't want to get into your pants and I respect your personal space. I mean, sex is cool and all..but I can easily live without it if it means I get to be with you."
"Well, that is the sweetest thing you've ever said." Marley shrugged her shoulders slightly, still gazing into Puck's eyes. "It's just don't you think this is a little crazy? I mean, I knew you for like…a few months and it feels like I kind of known you forever…I also don't like keeping this a secret…but it's something that has to be done because everyone, including Finn and Jake, who kind of already knows, will freak. They'll go Adventure Time on you."
"They will?" Puck didn't get it as Marley sighed. What did Finn have to do with this?
"You're 20; I'm 17…that's an age difference, Puck." Marley said.
"So?" Puck smiled at her, causing Marley to blush. "The heart wants what the heart wants…and right now…my heart wants you. Besides, Jake thought he was a badass? I'm the original Puckerman badass…but I'm not going to hurt you…ever." Marley smiled and leaned up to kiss him again.
"Well then…" Marley parted her lips and grabbed his hand. "I'm going to take your word for it." Marley and Puck started to make their way out of the library, giving each other loving glances, when they both spotted Jake. Marley released her hand from Puck's and noticed that Puck was raising an eyebrow at her. "It's Jake." Jake turned his head to see Marley and Puck, and that was when Jake figured it would be a good idea to talk to Marley again.
"Marley…" Jake walked over to Marley and Puck as Marley crossed her arms. Jake took one look at his brother, figuring he was going to vie for Marley's forgiveness with Puck here, although he knew Puck and Marley were an item. Puck placed an arm on Marley's shoulder as Marley continued staring at Jake, furrowing her eyebrows with annoyance."Look, I know that you're mad…but please forgive me. I know I haven't been the best person…but I love you and I'm sorry for hurting you. I honestly don't know what I was thinking when I cheated on you with Bree…I was an idiot and I want to be with you again...besides like I told you before, you dating my brother is kind of creepy. Look, let's just forget this all happened and we can go back to being together. You can possibly forget you ever liked my brother and we can go back to being that couple we were before this whole mess started. Marley, I need you." Puck's eyes widened in shock, unbelieving that Jake was telling her to dump him and go back to her ex. Marley pretended to relent, but her face turned cold again.
"Are you done?" Marley questioned, seeing Jake was nodding his head sadly. "Good. Jake, I moved on to bigger and better things…maybe even bigger and better than you. I'm happy with Noah and he cares about me. Maybe you're the one that's creepy for cheating on me with Bree. The answer is no, and the answer is going to stay no. I'm done here and there's nothing you can say that will change my mind...have a good summer Jake." To make a point she was over Jake, Marley turned around and kissed Puck softly, squeezing his hand with a smile as she flashed Jake a smirk. Marley left the library as Puck stared at her, a smile appearing on his face from the recent kiss they just shared. Jake looked over to his brother, trying to understand why Puck and Marley would get together right after he and Marley broke up. Wasn't there some unwritten rule about brothers not going after each other's girlfriends?
"Out of all the things you could possibly do? You had to go after her? Why?" Jake wondered. Puck stared at Jake, keeping his face tough.
"I didn't go after her...you drove her away." Puck simply said. "It's not my fault we fell in love because of your stupidity."
"Please, you don't really love her. If you loved her, you wouldn't be making out in a library, hiding your relationship from the world. I mean, you're not very subtle. If you loved her, you would be parading her...not hiding her away." Jake snarled.
"I do love Marley." Puck stuffed his hands in his pockets, still looking at Jake. "I'm not the one hiding anything...she's not comfortable yet...and that's fine. I mean, sure I wish things were more public, but I also respect her feelings and values...unlike you who was trying to get her to go all the way despite her telling you she wasn't ready. I could care less if she wanted to have sex with me or not. I like spending time with her...because she makes me happy. She could have made you happy too if you didn't push her away and took Bree's side. And dude...who has sex in a janitors closet during school hours with the most vilest bitch in the world?! I'm surprised you weren't suspended yet."
"You think I'm not sorry about that?" Jake showed remorse and guilt. "I haven't slept with Bree since Marley found out and went running into your arms. We ended things for good...I never meant to hurt her." Puck walked over to his brother, his face staying cold.
"If you never meant to hurt her, then you never would have done it." Puck simply said. "Do me a favor Jake...leave Marley alone and back off. I'm with her now, so you need to move on and find someone else."
"I'm not moving on from her..." Jake crossed his arms, staring at his older brother. "She was mine first."
"She's not a piece of property you can claim!" Puck scolded, seeing Jake was raising an eyebrow. "She's a person and she's my girlfriend...so if you know any better, you'll leave her alone."
"Have fun not hitting a home run, Puck." Jake scoffed. "She won't let you get that far."
"Oh, Jake." Puck chucked before his face turned stern. "I could care less. She's not a hump and dump...and I'll wait as long as I need to, even if it never happens. You need a crash course in loving a person...so go ask someone who's been in a loving relationship...have a good one, Jake." Puck started making his way out of the library before Jake stopped him.
"I heard of your little stunt you pulled with Sue for hurting Marley..." Jake's face was solemn. "What are you going to do with me?" Puck stared at Jake for a few moments, nodding his head slowly.
"I'll think of something." Puck walked away from his brother, leaving the library as Jake released a tired sigh. Jake knew he was playing with fire when he slept with Bree-and now he had to deal with the wrath of the one and only Noah Puckerman. As Puck walked out of the library, he had to think...was keeping his and Marley's relationship a secret such a good thing after all or was it going to tear them apart. Puck had to talk to Marley about it...and he knew where. He headed towards her, tapping her shoulder and giving her a small smile. "Hey, do you want to go out tonight? Breadstix, my treat." Marley blushed and nodded her head, making sure no one she knew was coming before pecking his lips and going to the choir room. Puck shrugged his shoulders, slowly following her with hopes this would end out well.
In the hallway, Tina and Artie made their way over to Santana who was in the middle of staring at Brittany talking with Ryder and Sam. This was huge news, bigger than graduation, bigger than the future, bigger than anything else.
"Santana, do I have news for you that isn't gossip." Tina stood in front of Santana, noticing that they had gotten Santana's interest. "Puck and Marley…are totally hooking up." Santana 's eyes widened as she continued to look at Tina. Why would Puck go and be with Marley—not that she cared. Santana continued to cross her arms as a devilish smirk appeared on her face. It looked like she had something to confront Puck about later.
Ten minutes later, New Directions and the Alumni (minus Finn and Rachel) sat in the choir room, gazing as Mr. Schuester entered the room with a solemn expression. In a few moments, he was going to be the bearer of bad news and that was the last thing he wanted. Mr. Schuester closed the door and sat down in the chair in front of the seniors, noticing that they were staring back at Mr. Schuester.
"I have something I have to tell you guys, and before I tell you…you have to promise me that you're not going to freak out." Mr. Schuester sighed, staring at each and every one of them. "Sue canceled the Glee Club…after this week there will be no more Glee…forever." The New Directions stood silent while the seniors looked shocked.
"Wait, so there's not going to be a Glee Club for us to come to next year?" Marley asked.
'That's not fair, why?" Sam added.
"Because of what happened at Nationals, Sam." Mr. Schuester explained, his eyes apologetically shifting to Marley. "Look, what happened at Nationals was not your fault, Marley…none of your fault…it was mine. I was the one that allowed Bree to enter the club and I should have listened to you guys when you all were strongly against it."
"Except Jake, he wasn't against it…" Kitty muttered as Jake felt like screaming.
"The point is…once the school year is over; there will be no New Directions." Mr. Schuester continued to gaze at his students, as well as his former students. "I have had the time of my life being your teacher. I watched you all grow and I saw some of you leave the nest and make something of yourselves. For that, I will forever be touched…" They stared at Mr. Schuester and then to each other, trying to figure out what to say next.
"Mr. Schue…this can't be happening." Tina sighed. "What's going to happen to you?"
"I don't know…" Mr. Schuester shrugged. "I don't know what's going to happen to me but I don't want you guys to think about it. Just know it was a pleasure being your teacher. Is there anything else someone would like to say?" Puck stared over at Mr. Schuester, slightly raising his hand, as some of the members appeared shocked. "Yes, Noah?"
"It's because of you that I am what I am today, Mr. Schue." Puck admitted. "If it weren't for you…god knows what would have happened to me. You not only touched me but you touched everyone else's lives here...we were working on something to sing for the last assignment of the year...but this looks like a better time to sing it." Everyone nodded their heads while Puck grabbed a guitar, staring over at his former teacher, watching Mr. Schue's eyes well up with tears.

Back at the hospital, Rachel sat in the waiting room as she stared at pictures of her and her dads. Finn noticed Rachel was distracted and decided to take her mind off everything. He sat down next to Rachel, giving her a small smile.
"How are you holding up?" Finn quietly asked. Rachel turned to him, shrugging her shoulders in confusion.
"I want to say I'm okay…I really do." Rachel sighed. "I'm just worried if they'll be okay…I never should have treated them so terribly at our wedding…I was out of line."
"Rachel, you were upset with them…" Finn reasoned with her. "I know you're feeling guilty about the way you treat your dads, but your dad is going to be fine. What happened to him actually?"
"He was trying to put the satellite dish on the roof and he fell off when saw a squirrel." Rachel explained, causing Finn to hold in his laughter. Rachel's eyes widened and Finn immediately turned apologetic.
"I'm sorry…" Finn put his hand on Rachel's shoulder, still trying to stifle his laughter. "I'm just trying to picture the idea of your dad being afraid of a squirrel."
"I don't know if you noticed Finn, but us Berry's are scared of rodents." Rachel said. "I found a rat in the kitchen when I was six and I demanded the fire department, the SWAT team, the police and poison control to come kill it."
"You did what?" Finn smiled at his wife with interest, taking her hand in his. "Oh boy...so if we find a rat in the loft, what are you going to do?"
"I'll probably call the FBI..." Rachel nodded her head, earning a smirk from Finn. "I'm serious too. There's nothing you can do to stop me."
"Oh my goodness, I married a diva..." Finn laughed, seeing Rachel was smiling at him. "Wait, so you're serious? You wanted the fire department, the SWAT team, the police and poison control to get rid of a rat?"
"Yep, she did..." Finn and Rachel turned their heads towards LeRoy who was coming out of the hospital rooms. Rachel pursed her lips as she stared at her father, wondering if she should say more. "She was always a little diva, wasn't she?" Rachel knew these words were true, so she tucked a hair behind her ear and smiled slightly.
"How's daddy?" Rachel decided to change the subject, not wanting to talk about her episode when she was six anymore.
"He's fine." LeRoy assured her as Finn let out a sigh of relief. "He just has a broken arm but he'll live to tell the tale. I just want to know if the squirrel pushed him off the balcony because he was near the squirrel's acorns again. That squirrel on the roof always had problems with that..." Rachel chuckled slightly, still looking at LeRoy. Finn gazed at both Rachel and LeRoy, figuring it would be a good time for them to talk. Finn cleared his throat, turning his head towards the vending machine that was in the open cafeteria.
"I'm going to get a snack from the vending machine, maybe to also get some hot chocolate." Finn got up from his chair, staring at Rachel with a smile. "Babe, do you want something?"
"Can you bring me a hazelnut coffee? I didn't sleep well and I'm kind of tired." Rachel said as Finn leaned down and pressed a kiss to her forehead.
"Of course, love." Finn said, giving her his signature smirk. He walked towards the cafeteria with Rachel smiling at him, folding her hands with a grin. As soon as Finn was out of earshot, LeRoy sat down next to Rachel, gazing into his daughter's eyes.
"So how have you been?" LeRoy wondered. "How's married life treating you?"
"Married life is wonderful." Rachel said, gazing at her father. "I love Finn, Finn loves me…there's no doubt about it. I mean sure we fight sometimes and sometimes I'm aware we're both extremely young-not to mention the divorce rate is high but...I knew I was making the right decision in marrying him and I know in my heart we'll be together forever."
"I know." LeRoy nodded his head, giving his daughter a smile. "I know you love Finn…and it's very evident he loves you…I guess I just didn't want to see my little girl grow up and make a mistake…I'm just worried you might get sidetracked on what's important."
"Finn is important." Rachel argued. "Finn has always been important and always will be important. But just because I love Finn, doesn't mean he's the only thing I love in the world. I love Funny Girl, I love NYADA…I love everything that's in my life right now. Finn is the one that has been there for me through thick and thin…and I'm gonna do the same for him. Besides, Finn's been through a lot in the last year. His crazy father died because of a drug overdose and he was arrested for a party he never threw. I guess what I'm saying is-we both have a lot of baggage, but we'd gladly take that baggage if it means we get to be with each other for the rest of our lives. There's no one on this planet like Finn...I mean, I used to think about it every year in Glee Club. Every other Glee Club had their Kurt, had their Brittany, had their Mercedes, had their Puck...and even had their me...but no one had their Finn. Finn is one of a kind...and that's what makes him so special. How many Glee Clubs can say a quarterback joins a Glee Club, not caring about whether they're popular or not and sings for the love of the music-and then falls in love with the girl that no one thought the quarterback would end up with. He could have fell in love with a cheerleader like Quinn or something...instead...he fell in love with me." LeRoy looked at Rachel, still trying to decide whether he should say something.
"You really adore Finn, don't you?" LeRoy asked after a few seconds. Rachel looked over to the vending machine as Finn was still standing there, trying to choose what he wanted. Rachel couldn't help but smile while staring at him, before looking back at her father.
"He's my person…" Rachel beamed, thinking about her love for Finn. "He always has been and always will be. That's how much I love him."
"I know." LeRoy gave Rachel an apologetic look. "I'm sorry about what your dad and I did at the wedding. That was your special day and regardless of what we thought, we should have supported your happiness. Do you think you can forgive us?" Rachel nodded her head as tears formed in her eyes.
"Of course I'll forgive you. If this whole hospital thing taught me anything, it's that life's too short...I don't want my last words to anyone to be something I regret...I'm sorry that I haven't been open to even letting you apologize... But you know..., I'm not the only one you have to apologize to." Rachel hugged LeRoy tightly as Finn looked on with a smile of his own. Finn cleared his throat slightly, holding two cups of hot liquid, with Rachel smiling up at him.
"All right, I got you hazelnut coffee with three sugars, black...just the way you like it. And I know you said you didn't want anything to eat, but I got you a granola bar...you know, to keep your strength up." Finn handed her the cup and the granola bar as Rachel squeezed his hand. She didn't even tell him how she wanted her coffee or the fact she secretly wanted him to bring her something to eat...he just...knew.
"Thank you, baby...you are the greatest." Rachel smiled, taking a sip. As Rachel looked over at LeRoy, she took another sip of her coffee, hoping LeRoy would get the hint Finn needed an apology as well. LeRoy motioned over to Finn, with Finn wondering with curiosity as to what LeRoy would want to speak with him about.
"Finn, I want to apologize for what happened at the wedding…and what we said to you." LeRoy sincerely said, causing Finn to gaze at his father-in-law with interest. "You make Rachel so happy…and that's all that should matter. You do know what you want in life and you're an incredible person for out wonderful Rachel. Do you think you can possibly forgive us?" Finn stared at LeRoy, nodding his head as he shook his hand.
"Of course I can." Finn said, giving him a smile. "To be honest, I would have been the same way with my daughter if I found out she was getting married at 19." Rachel blushed as LeRoy patted Finn on the back, saying the five words that should have been said on Finn and Rachel's wedding day.
"Welcome to the family, son." LeRoy hugged Finn while Rachel gazed at the both of them, feeling happy tears stream down her cheeks.
"I see that we're having a sentimental party here." Rachel's eyes shifted over to Hiram who was exiting the hospital room with his arm in a cast. "Is there room for one more?" Rachel grinned, getting up from her chair to embrace her dad. Rachel wrapped her arms around Hiram's waist, the both of them standing there with Rachel gazing into her dads eyes.
"I'm so glad you're okay." Rachel said. "I'm sorry about that stupid squirrel that pushed you off the balcony and what happened at the wedding and me ignoring your calls and…"
"Rachelah…" Hiram softly said, causing Rachel to look up at him. "You don't have to apologize for what happened. It was our fault…we should supported your happiness, not tear it down. I'm sorry if I made you feel unimportant or if I insulted you and Finn by any chance. You're so important to me and I should have been there to help make your wedding day the happiest day of your life—not try to tear down your hopes and dreams." Rachel continued to hug Hiram and all LeRoy and Finn could do was give them a smile.
"Mr. Berry?" Finn asked, seeing Hiram was gazing at him. Finn thought for a few minutes before he spoke. "The squirrel didn't really push you off the balcony...did he?" Finn was expecting Rachel to become sensitive on the topic-but she simply laughed, causing LeRoy and Hiram to laugh as well. LeRoy pat Finn on the back before motioning towards Rachel.
"Rachel...this husband of yours is a keeper." LeRoy said with Hiram agreeing. Rachel walked over to Finn, wrapping her arms around his waist, staring into her husband's eyes.
"He sure is..." Rachel whispered before kissing him on the lips. He smiled in Rachel's kiss, feeling complete bliss for the first time in a while. Finn was glad Rachel was speaking to her father's again—but there was something else Finn knew he had to do in regards to trying to bond with his new family member.
"All right, your turn." Marley and Puck sat in a booth at Breadstix on their date that evening-and they were currently trying to devour some of the breadsticks that were placed on the table. Marley and Puck were in the middle of a friendly competition of who could eat the most breadsticks and so far, they were having a hard time trying to decide who was the winner; one thing they could agree on...the breadsticks were awful. Puck took one of the breadsticks and ate half of it before putting it on the table.
"God. These are awful." Puck finally admitted, staring down at the breadstick. "Why did I let you talk me into eating these?" Marley laughed, leaning her head on his shoulder, with Puck releasing a sigh. "Hey, um, I kind of wanted to talk to you about something."
"Oh boy..." Marley stared into his eyes, half smiling as she teased. "Am I in trouble?"
"No, you're not in trouble." Puck smirked, pressing a kiss on her forehead. However, his small smile disappeared as he shrugged his shoulders. "I think that we should tell people about...us." Puck folded his hands, trying to get his point across. "I mean, keeping us a secret was fun for a while...but..." Puck fiddled with his soda, staring at Marley sadly. "It kind of feels like you're hiding me from everyone else."
"What?" Marley raised her eyebrows, shaking her head slowly. "No, I'm not trying to hide you, Noah...you know that."
"I know you're not doing it on purpose." Puck sighed, taking her hand slowly. "It's just...it's been a while...and as much as I like some secrecy, I still think people have the right to know...like the Glee Club and some of our friends." Marley continued to glance at him, shrugging her shoulders. "I know that you're afraid Jake's going to out you to the whole class or something...which is why we should do it instead of someone else getting the satisfaction." Marley continued gazing at him, questioning it in her mind. Puck took her other hand , interlacing their fingers together as he gazed at her. "Is there someone else you don't want to know about our relationship, and you can be honest with me..." Marley continued gazing at Puck, slightly letting out a sigh.
"It's Finn." Marley muttered. Puck appeared shocked, raising an eyebrow slightly.
"Get out of town." Puck shook his head with interest. "You're worried about Finn? Why?"
"Remember when I told you that my mom was hiding a secret from me for the last sixteen years?" Marley wondered. Puck nodded his head slowly, seeing she was taking a deep breath. "Finn's my half-brother." Puck continued looking at her, still holding her hand. "Since Finn's your best friend...I don't want to complicate things, you know?"
"So that's why you've been worried about keeping our relationship secret...and that's why you said especially Finn back at the library." Puck finally understood everything. Marley looked away slowly but Puck simply chuckled, squeezing her hand lovingly. "Hey...are you okay?"
"Well, things just got extremely complicated." Marley said, taking one of her hands to run her fingers through her hair. "I was trying to have one relationship where something wouldn't be so complex. Now, everything is...I bet if this was with Jake, he'd agree things are complicated and he'd break up with me, not to mention..."
"Not to mention, I'm not Jake." Puck said, still looking into her eyes. "Trust me, complicated is my middle name. My whole life is defined by the word, and remember...I'm not in love with Finn...I'm in love with you. So you need to stop worrying if I'm going to leave because of some little thing because I'm not. I'm in this if you are...I love you, okay?" Marley squeezed his hand, a smile appearing on her face.
"I love you too..." Marley whispered, releasing a sigh. "Which is why we need to tell people about our relationship." Puck smiled and moved closer to her in the booth, staring at her with interest. "You're right about everything...we need to tell people...I mean, sure, we'll have some privacy between us but I like the idea of almost flaunting freely." Puck knew Marley wasn't ready to tell Finn yet and he respected that, just as long as everyone else knew and promised to keep it quiet.
"Yeah, so do I." Marley leaned into Puck's touch as they sat in the booth together with Marley thinking. "I have a song we could sing...to show everyone...I mean, I know you're not open to singing lovey dovey songs in public, especially girly songs by artists like Taylor Swift but..."
"Let's do it." Puck didn't hesitate. "I think this would be a good idea. Besides, it could kind of be a way for us to do the lesson Mr. Schue assigned the club as well. Everything has changed, right?" Marley nodded her head, thinking it could have worked. They could say goodbye to the club and let everyone know of their relationship. It was perfect...
{Scene changes to the choir room the next day as Puck and Marley sit in the front of the choir room, staring at each other while Puck plays the guitar. Some of the members tear up with happiness but Jake looks with frustration while Santana shakes her head}
[Marley]
All I knew, this morning when I woke
Is I know something now, know something now I didn't before
And all I've seen since eighteen hours ago
Is brown eyes and freckles and your smile
In the back of my mind making me feel like
I just want to know you better, know you better, know you better now
I just want to know you better, know you better, know you better now
[Marley with Puck]
I just want to know you better, know you better, know you better now
I just want to know you, know you, know you
Cause all I know is we said hello
And your eyes look like coming home
All I know is a simple name
And everything has changed
All I know is you held the door
You'll be mine and I'll be yours
All I know since yesterday is everything has changed
[Puck]
And all my walls stood tall painted blue
And I'll take them down, take them down, and open up the door for you
[Marley]
And all I feel in my stomach is butterflies
The beautiful kind, making up for lost time
taking fight, making me feel like
[Marley and Puck]
I just want to know you better, know you better, know you better now
I just want to know you better, know you better, know you better now
I just want to know you better, know you better, know you better now
I just want to know you, know you, know you
Cause all I know is we said hello
And your eyes look like coming home
All I know is a simple name
And everything has changed
All I know is you held the door
You'll be mine and I'll be yours
All I know since yesterday is everything has changed
{Marley gets up from her chair and walks over to Puck from behind and wraps her arms around his neck, leaning her head on his shoulder. Puck smiles at her while Tina claps her hand softly with a smile and Santana rolls her eyes}
Come back and tell me why
I feel like I've missed you all this time
And meet me there tonight
And let me know that it's not all in my mind
{Marley walks in front of Puck and puts a hand on his cheek, staring at him with a smile, seeing he's looking at her with a grin. Brittany silently fist pumps while Jake looks upset.}
[Marley]
I just want to know you better, know you better, know you better now
I just want to know you, know you, know you
{Marley sits on Puck's lap as she wraps her arms around his neck while the Glee band takes over the music}
[Marley and Puck]
Cause all I know is we said hello
And your eyes look like coming home
All I know is a simple name
And everything has changed
All I know is you held the door
You'll be mine and I'll be yours
All I know since yesterday is everything has changed
{Marley continues singing while Puck presses a kiss on her cheek, causing her to smile}
[Marley]
All I know is we said hello
So dust off your highest hope
All I know is pouring rain and (with Puck: everything has changed)
All I've known is a new found grace
All my days I've known your face
All I know since (with Puck: yesterday)
[Marley and Puck]
Is everything has changed
"WOO!" Some of the members of New Directions cheered as Marley and Puck stared into each other's eyes, with Puck pressing a kiss to her lips. Some of the members whistled while Jake simply fumed. Who did they think they were, flaunting their love in the choir room?! Marley got up from Puck's lap as he got up himself, staring at his friends. He knew the time was right-and he knew that this was something he wanted to share with them. Puck looked to the members, taking a deep breath and raising his hand slightly.
"Um, we have something we'd like to say." Puck put the guitar to the side and motioned for Marley to come next to him. Puck stared at them and let out a sigh. "Well, this is kind of going to be a shocker since most of you never saw this coming but..." Puck grabbed Marley's hand, intertwining their fingers and holding it up. "Marley and I...are together. Like boyfriend/girlfriend together...and if anyone got a problem with it, you can meet my fists and the dumpster out back after class."
"Noah!" Marley stared at him, seemingly surprised, but Puck shrugged his shoulders not looking ashamed for threatening anyone.
"Sorry." Puck cleared his throat, but stared at her for a minute. "It's just I love you and and when you love someone...things come flying out your mouth..." Tina, Kitty, Unique and Brittany 'awed' at Puck's words, causing Marley to move a strand of hair to behind her ears. Marley blushed as some of the members clapped for them, but Jake and Santana didn't look amused. Instead, they were upset.
"We are so happy for you guys." Kitty gushed as Unique nodded her head with agreement.
"Not only are you two adorable but that song was on fire!" Unique snapped her fingers as Brittany joined in with the finger snapping.
"Thank you..." Marley giggled slightly as Puck suddenly appeared a little emotional, something Artie, Sam and Tina noticed.
"Puck?" Sam wondered, seeing Puck was letting out a deep breath. "You okay, dude?"
"Yeah, yeah..." Puck nodded his head, staring at the alumni and the current members. "I just...well, I just thought about how I'm gonna really miss this place. I mean there were so many amazing memories in here and you guys just accepting our relationship reminds us that we're all family here. We were always family that even had embarrassing moments together...remember Finn and Rachel's 'kiss that missed'."
"The comments on that video are to die for. 'Why is the T-Rex eating that Jew.'" Kurt added as Blaine laughed and Puck stared at them with slight sadness.
"It didn't hit me until now that we were going to lose the club...and somehow, I wish that we were able to do something." Puck sighed. "Of course, Sue put her foot down and what she said goes...it's just, I'm going to miss you guys and I'm going to miss you Mr. Schue. You taught me how to be a man in this club...and this was really an awesome experience. So, everything has changed...because this club is not going to exist and it's going to be a damn shame that no one is going to know who Lillian is." Puck pointed to the plaque on the wall, seeing some of the members turning somber. "They'll walk around the school, see her and they won't even know who she is or why she has her own plaque. It's because she brought the word 'Glee' to life...because that's what you felt when you sat in this classroom and sang songs that meant something to you. When you had relationships with people that you never thought you would talk to. Where it was okay to feel or act different because that was what made us unique." Artie and Tina stared at each other with a sad look while Kurt and Blaine shared the same solemn face expression. "Glee Club's our home...and without it...there will be nowhere for anyone to turn to when they need a few words of inspiration."
"Glee Club was really special to you, wasn't it Noah?" Mr. Schue wondered as Puck nodded his head. Mr. Schuester pulled his chair into the middle of the choir room and motioned for everyone to bring their chairs into a circle. There was one more thing he wanted to do, even though some of the members currently weren't there. "All right, for those that are here...how about we sit here and we talk about our favorite moments of Glee Club or what the Glee Club meant to us? Anyone can start us off."
"If there was anything Glee Club taught me, it was being yourself was always enough. That no matter what anyone said or did to you...as long as you were true to yourself, it would be the only thing that mattered." Tina said before jokingly adding. "It also taught me not to fake a stutter." Everyone started laughing at Tina's revelation as Sam raised his hand slightly.
"My favorite memory of Glee Club was when you guys brought me back after I was working as a teen stripper for a bit..." Sam's remark earned wide-eyed gazes from Kitty and Unique. "You guys showed me there was more to me than just me selling by body...also my parents eventually found out my job wasn't at Dairy Queen. They still accepted me but...they weren't too happy I lied."
"I learned everyone's a unicorn." Brittany said. "Everyone has magical fairy dust and are able to make people feel better with their magical spirit and friendship." Some of the members simply grinned at Brittany, realizing what she had meant. Even though she used unicorns...it still made a ton of sense.
"Glee Club was about acceptance." Artie said. "No matter if you were gay, straight, transgendered, disabled, black, white, whatever...you were allowed to be anyone you wanted in this room...we could even dress up as Lady Gaga and it'd be cool in here."
"Glee Club's about following your passion." Kurt said. "Whether you wanted to be a singer, a dancer or play an instrument. if that was what you wanted to do, then Glee Club encouraged that and no one in this room would tear you down for that."
"Glee Club's about defeating the status quo." Kitty added. "Before Glee Club, cheerleaders were expected to sit with other cheerleaders and jocks were only supposed to be with other jocks. In Glee Club, there's someone from every clique...and we're all friends here. We have each other's backs no matter what."
"This club allows us to not take ourselves too seriously and for us to loosen up." Blaine adjusted his bow tie in a playful manner, earning chuckles. "I mean, it's where dudes can sing 'Friday' and 'What does The Fox Say'? We could do any song by Katy Perry and It'd still be cool!"
"No..." Puck shook his head, staring at Blaine. "Singing Katy Perry every ten seconds in this place still isn't cool."
"Says the guy who just sung a Taylor Swift song." Blaine retorted slightly coughing while Puck's eyebrows went up. He felt Marley's hand squeeze his, allowing him to calm down as he noticed Santana had something to say.
"Glee Club taught me it was amusing to make fun of everyone now and again." Santana shrugged her shoulders. She noticed the serious looks she got before adding. "But when someone outside this club messed with you guys, that was when I would fight and defend. You're like family...and family sticks together."
"Damn right." Artie said, gazing at Santana. "This is our home..."
"And we're kind of like Mr. Schue's foster children..." Brittany added earning laughs from everyone, including Mr. Schuester.
"Yeah..." Mr. Schuester chuckled. They heard footsteps behind them, with everyone turning and revealing Finn and Rachel, who had entered the room after spending the morning at Rachel's house, making sure her dads were okay after the squirrel incident. "Finn, Rachel...you're here."
"Come here, we're doing a Glee assignment." Brittany motioned for them to take the two empty seats that were there. Rachel and Finn sat down in two of the seats, gazing at every one of their friends.
"We're discussing what Glee Club means to us...what does it mean to you?" Tina wondered, seeing Finn and Rachel were thinking.
"Wait, why are we discussing what Glee Club means to us?" Finn was muddled. "I mean, it's still going to be here next year, right?" When everyone stood silent with sad expressions, Finn's face turned upset. "Right?" Finn turned to Puck and Brittany, noticing they slowly looked away from him with sad expressions. They didn't have to say anything...that was when Finn knew they were going to lose Glee Club. That wasn't right and it wasn't fair...not to Finn. Finn looked as if he was about to cry at any moment, causing him to get up from his chair and head towards the door.
"Finn!" Rachel called after her husband, but he kicked over the stand and saw it fall to the floor, walking to the exit and slamming the door behind him. When the door finally slammed, Rachel knew it was best to let him vent alone. Glee Club meant a lot to him...and Finn never wanted to see Glee Club end. Rachel looked to everyone, deciding that she was going to go along with the assignment. She hated the fact Glee Club was going to be disbanded but...she did have something she wanted to say in case this unfortunate day ever came. "Glee Club...it was a place where I was allowed to express myself...and apparently annoy everyone with my solo hogging." Rachel felt tears come to her eyes as she looked at her friends. "This room was like our safe haven...it was where we would express what we were feeling, it's where long lasting friendships were made and it was where we became National Champions and went straight to the top even though we were underdogs. Glee Club is special...and being apart of something special makes you special. There's no other way to go around it. This was the first place in school where I felt loved and it was the only class I looked forward coming to, all because I would get to see your beautiful and handsome faces. And I feel we never get the chance to thank Mr. Schue for all he's done." Mr. Schuester looked touched as some tears went down Rachel's cheeks. "You took 12 underdogs under your wing and transformed them into National Champions. You truly are the heart and soul of New Directions and we'll forever be grateful to you and this club. So thank you Mr. Schue... thank you..." Puck, who was sitting next to Rachel, rubbed her back as Mr. Schuester let out some tears as well. Rachel's words really hit home to him...
"Mr. Schue?" Kitty feebly said as Mr. Schuester looked up. Everyone had tears in their eyes and some of the members were inconsolable. Tina hugged Artie as tears streamed down her face, Brittany found comfort in Santana as Santana held her friend tightly, and Marley leaned her head on Puck's shoulder as he rubbed her arm with his other hand while she cried. "Do you think we can sing one more song together...? To end this club on a high note?"
"We need to sing something..." Kurt motioned towards the plaque on the wall. "We need to sing for Lillian. She wouldn't want this club to be disbanded without one final song. And as her plaque says: By it's very definition, Glee is about opening yourself to joy." Mr. Schuester couldn't help but agree with the kids. if they wanted to sing Lillian one more song, then Lillian was going to get one more song-but they were certain there were going to be tears.
"Of course..." Mr. Schuester agreed before furrowing his eyebrows. "But someone might want to get Finn. Lillian wouldn't want us to sing without him..." Rachel got up from her chair, squeezing Puck's hand as a thank you for consoling her before she went to open the door to the choir room. She took a step in the hallway, expecting Finn to be in the auditorium or something, but she was surprised Finn was sitting on the floor, crying his little heart out.
"Finn..." Rachel leaned down to Finn's level, rubbing his back soothingly. Finn went into Rachel's arms as he started to sob, with Rachel holding him tightly. "It's okay...everything's going to be okay."
"How can you say that?" Finn whispered, looking into Rachel's eyes. "Glee Club is getting disbanded...that's it. Glee Club will never happen again and it's all Sue Sylvester's fault. There are memories in that room and Sue is just putting a wrecking ball through our hearts! That's our spot! She has no right to end Glee Club! It's not fair!"
"Finn...I know it's not fair and yes, the Glee Club is ending...but you're supposed to remember some of the good moments you had in that room, some of your favorite performances, something that made you smile, something that made coming to Glee Club worthwhile." Rachel sat with him, staring into his eyes. "Tell me...what was your favorite moment in Glee Club. We all said ours...so now it's your turn and I want you to be honest." Finn didn't have to think about his answer.
"My favorite moment in Glee Club...was when I met you." Finn softly said, with Rachel feeling tears in her eyes. "My life wouldn't be the same without you or that club...it was special...and it was because of Glee Club I was able to fall in love with you...flaws and all. When I would have a terrible day, when I walked into the choir room and heard you singing, my day would instantly brighten and l would forget what was bothering me in the first place. You're magical and that room is magical. I love that club and I love you..." Rachel nodded her head with tears going down her face, hugging Finn tightly as she felt absolutely touched.
"Oh Finn, I love you so much." Rachel whispered with Finn gripping onto her. "I know the hardest word to say is goodbye, Finn...and I know the Glee Club ending feels like a nasty breakup...but the memories of us in that club are always going to be in your heart no matter how long you live. And whenever you're sad, you can look back on those memories and smile. As my dads used to say, 'don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened'." Finn looked at Rachel, still feeling emotional. "The Glee Club wants to sing one final number...and we'd really love for you to join us." Finn didn't hesitate, he nodded his head and took Rachel's hand as she slowly pulled him up. "Lillian Adler deserves one final number from her club...it'd be a way for us to honor her and honor Mr. Schue..." Finn gripped onto Rachel's hand tightly, as Rachel pulled him to the auditorium to sing one last number as a club.

[Rachel]
Well I know it's kind of late
I hope I didn't wake you
What I gotta say can't wait
I know you'd understand
[Rachel and Finn]
Every time I tried to tell you
The words just came our wrong
So I'll have to say I love you in a song
[Kitty]
Yeah I know it;s kind of strange
Every time I'm near you
I just run out of things to say
i know you'd understand
[Kitty and Jake]
Every time I tried to tell you
The words just came out wrong
[Rachel, Finn, Kitty and Jake]
So I'll have to say I love you in a song (Rachel: Oh, oh, oh)
{Mr. Schuester watches from the auditorium and he becomes teary eyed from watching the performance}
[Puck and Kurt] (New Directions and Alumni harmonizing)
Every time the time is right
All the words just came out wrong
[Puck, Kurt, Brittany and Santana]
So I'll have to say I love you in a song
[Ryder]
Yeah I know it's kind of late (New Directions and Alumni: It's kind of late)
I hope I didn't wake you
[Blaine]
But there's something that i just got to say (New Directions and Alumni: Understand)
I know you'd understand
[Unique]
Every time I tried to tell you
The words just came out wrong
[New Directions and New Directions Alumni]
So I'll have to say I love you in a song
(Rachel: Oh, I love you, I love you, I love you)
(Tina: Oh, I love you)
(Artie: So I'll have to say) (Finn: I love you)

In a song...
As soon as the performance ended, they looked at each other, knowing this was the last time they were ever going to really sing like this...Mr. Schuester got up from his chair, going on the stage and facing all of them.
"Guys...it has been an honor being your teacher, being your mentor, being your friend for the last few years...I love you all...and...now that it's 3:30...that's it. Glee Club's over." Rachel stared over at Finn who looked a bit upset, but Mr. Schuester motioned for one last group hug. Everyone walked over to Mr. Schuester and hugged him, staring out at the auditorium with sadness. As they began to pile out of the auditorium, Finn snuck over to the choir room, staring at the surroundings. The chairs were empty, the piano was no longer occupied and the white board had nothing on it. Finn walked to the piano, looked at the seats and released a sigh. He was really going to miss this place.
"Goodbye Glee Club..." Finn whispered, staring at the empty chairs. "I love you...and I had to tell you the only way I knew how...in a song." Finn looked over to see no one was behind him, he was seriously all alone. Finn walked over to the exit, shut off the light and closed the door, making his way to the school cafeteria so he could focus his energy and get on with the next order of business.
Marley took her books out of her locker as she placed them inside her backpack. She was so glad the last day of the school year was tomorrow so she could get out of McKinley as quickly as possible. Marley had to admit she had a bad year, but there were some shining parts. She had the Glee Club, she had singing and she had Puck and Finn encourage her to be a stronger person than she thought she was. She continued to empty her locker of its contents until she noticed a familiar face heading her way.
"Oh, hi Finn." Marley smiled as Finn appeared in front of her.
"Hey, do you mind if I talk to you in the cafeteria for a minute?" Finn wondered.
"You're not going to be upset with me again, are you?" Marley joked as Finn shook his head.
"No, I won't." Finn smiled softly. Marley and Finn headed towards the cafeteria, which was currently empty. She noticed the lunch ladies packing up and putting away the utensils for the summer, which only meant it was time for summer vacation. No more mystery meat, no more taco Tuesdays and no more of Marley showing her lunch tickets at lunch where everyone would know she was poor. She loved it already. Marley noticed Millie sitting at one of the tables as Finn led her over to greet her mother. Marley sat down at the table, looking at both Millie and Finn with interest.
"What's this about?" Marley couldn't help but become attentive.
"Marley?" Millie smiled over at her daughter, seeing that Marley was now giving her mother a quizzical look. "How would you like to spend the summer with Finn and his friends in New York City?" Marley realized what her mother just said, but she was still confused.
"You want me to spend the summer with Finn in New York?" Marley wondered. "Are you sure?"
"I'm sure." Millie agreed. "Finn and I were talking earlier and…I think it would be time that you two actually got to know each other. Besides, Finn seems like a very well behaved man and…he is your brother. I want you to have adventures, get out of Lima. You might end up loving New York and you might be interested in applying to schools there during your senior year. What do you say?" Marley stared at her mother and back at Finn, trying to comprehend what was going on. When she finally understood, she wrapped her arms around her mother's shoulders and giggled.
"Yes, all right!" Marley agreed, causing Finn to hold out his hand to high-five her. Marley couldn't believe how everything was changing so fast—she was heading to New York City for the summer, and she was going to hang around Finn and see everything he did. She really looked up to him, and to get a chance to spend a summer with her idol really had her glowing with enthusiasm. "Thank you mom, thank you, thank you, thank you!" Millie and Finn simply grinned at one another and continued to take in Marley's excitement. Marley's excitement died down when she looked over at the doors opening and spotting Kitty, Unique, Puck and Ryder with mischievous grins. She had to wonder what had them so excited and Finn even shared Marley's interest.
"All right, what did you do?" Finn playfully asked, seeing they were pretending nothing went wrong.
"Marley, come here. There's something we want to show you." Puck motioned for her with his hand, causing her to get up from her seat. Puck and Kitty grabbed Marley's hands and pulled her out of the cafeteria while Unique and Ryder followed suit.
"Where are we going?" Marley giggled, staring over at Puck and Kitty.
"We realized that we could have done more to protect you from Bree, and that's why we're going to give her one final present before school's out for the summer." Kitty smirked, noticing Bree was walking with her cheerio clique in an obvious bad mood. "Aww, look what we have here guys..." Kitty taunted Bree as Puck, Unique and Ryder followed with Marley gazing in interest. "We have the school slut who thought shutting down our club was going to stop us from all being friends. Well let me tell you something, when you mess with Marley, you mess with all of us and we should have stood up for her before...but we're doing something about it now."
"Oh, and what are you going to do about it, Kitty?" Bree sneered. "What are you going to do about me?" Puck walked over towards Bree, his face turning serious and his mouth curling into a slight snarl.
"This is for hurting my girl by sleeping with Jake." Out of nowhere, Ryder handed Puck a purple slushie and Puck splashed Bree with the cold drink, causing everyone to stop and turn towards the cheerio covered in a drink. Kitty walked next to Puck with Unique handing her a slushie, Kitty keeping her eyes locked to Bree.
"This is for making us lose Nationals!" Kitty splashed Bree with a green slushie, with everyone now taking pictures. Ryder and Unique had slushies of their own, making their way to Bree with slight anger.
"This is for being part of the reason Sue disbanded Glee Club!" Ryder shouted, putting a cherry slushie on the top of Bree's head. Finally, Unique gave Bree a snarl, holding a blue slushie in her hand.
"And this is for almost making us lose our friendship with Marley. She's more important than any lie that comes out of your damn mouth." Unique put the slushie on the top of Bree's head with Bree completely mortified and embarrassed. Kitty, Puck, Ryder and Unique appeared content as Kitty patted Bree's wet cheerios uniform.
"Taste the rainbow, bitch." Kitty took one last look at Bree's uniform before adding. "And you might want to get that dry cleaned...I heard slushie stains are a bitch to take out." With that, Kitty, Puck, Ryder and Unique turned around, seeing Marley was smiling at them.
"You guys didn't really have to do that." Marley shook her head, still grinning from ear to ear.
"Yes we did." Puck quickly said, holding out an orange slushie for her. "You can still have last dibs if you want..." Marley stared at Bree, seeing she was covered in rainbow colored slushies. The old Marley would have turned the other way and easily forgive...but this was the new confident Marley. Marley took the slushie from Puck, giving him a small smile before making her way over to Bree.
"This is for making my life a living hell all sophomore year..." Marley said just above a whisper before splashing Bree in the face with an orange slushie. "And by the way...I didn't forget you calling me ugly...If anyone's ugly...it's you." Marley turned around, holding the empty cup as Puck stared at her. "That felt good." Marley breathed out as Kitty, Ryder and Unique laughed, rubbing Marley's back and waving goodbye to her as they went towards the exit of the school building.
"So are you going to be a total rebel now and dunk slushies on people when they make your life hell?" Puck wondered, shrugging his shoulders. Marley kissed him softly, shaking her head slowly.
"I can be a rebel, but I'd rather be a sweetheart. Hey...um...why don't you come over to my house tonight? My mom won't be home until late because of her bingo game...we can watch a movie or something?" Marley wondered. Puck nodded his head, thinking about it.
"Sure, why not. Hey, maybe if I'm lucky I'll meet your mom." Marley laughed and nuzzled her nose with his. She hugged Puck as the two of them made their way down the hall, leaving Bree in her slushie disaster-and the unwanted center of attention.
Tina sat in the choir room, noticing the chairs being taken down from it's pedestal and out of the classroom. If she didn't want to believe the news of New Directions being disbanded, she was going to have to take it in now. She crossed her arms and stared over at the piano being rolled out and she even couldn't help but tear up a bit when Finn's Glee Club drum set was being moved past her as well. Tina didn't know what else to say—she was in absolute shock and she didn't want to leave all her friends and family. Tina turned around, seeing Artie, Sam and Blaine behind her, feeling just as emotional as she was. As Tina looked at Artie, Sam looked around the room noticing that it was empty.
"I can't believe Sue kept true to her word and really destroyed Glee Club." Sam felt emotive. "I mean there were so many memories."
"That was where Finn kicked the chair when he found out Quinn had cheated on him." Tina pointed to the chair that had a slight dent in it.
"That was the exact spot where Finn beat up Puck when he found out Puck was the father of Quinn's child." Artie pointed to the exact spot on the floor where they remembered Finn pinning Puck down and punching him—only for it to be broken up by Mr. Schue.
"This was the spot where Finn kicked over the music stand yesterday…" Sam grinned. Blaine couldn't help but show confusion. They were supposed to be listing their favorite Glee memories—not memories of Finn abusing pieces of furniture and Puck's face.
"Why do your memories involve Finn kicking something and beating someone up?" Blaine questioned. "You make him sound like he needs anger management."
"Finn's anger were the best parts of Glee Club." Tina nonchalantly answered.
"Singing and getting our emotions out in the open were great too." Sam added. Tina continued to look over at Artie and let out a sigh.
"I'm going to miss the choir room." Tina whispered. "Just seeing it empty…it's not right. Not right at all."
"I'm going to miss Glee Club…" Artie added. "It's not fair that all good things have to come to an end. Why can't they go on forever?" Tina looked at Blaine and Sam before releasing a sigh.
"I guess this was just the end of one chapter in our lives…" Tina said before taking out an envelope from her back pocket. "Us graduating is a new chapter and we're going to experience the best year ever…I can feel it. Especially since, I was waitlisted at Brown but a new opportunity came along. I got into NYU."
"Wait, you what?" Blaine raised an eyebrow, still gazing at Tina. "That's crazy because…I got into NYADA."
"I got into the Brooklyn Film Academy…" Artie spoke with slight realization.
"And I'm planning on becoming an awesome model. I hear New York is the concrete jungle where dreams are made of and I was thinking of going there before I knew you guys were going!" As soon as Sam finished speaking, Tina's grin widened and she stared at her friends.
"This can't be possible…are we all going to New York?" Tina laughed slightly with glee.
"I guess we are!" Blaine clapped his hands together.
"GROUP HUG!" Artie wheeled himself into the middle, giving Tina, Sam and Blaine a huge hug. Things were going to be different, but they were going to open the next chapter of their lives in New York City—and that was what made everything for the moment seem okay.

Long after the graduation ceremony, Mr. Schuester sat on the auditorium stage, holding onto a piece of paper that possibly was going to lead him to his future. All Mr. Schue could think about was whether or not he should take the pending offer. It was still a chance for him to be a Glee coach, but the kids in the club weren't his kids. He didn't watch them grow up to be confident men and women of society. Mr. Schuester came out of his thoughts when the door to the auditorium opened and in entered Finn.
"Hey, I somehow knew I would find you in here." Finn smirked, closing the door behind him and making his way over to his former teacher. "The choir room was completely empty so, I thought this would be the only place you'd be."
"You were always observant." Mr. Schuester chuckled at Finn while his former student joined him on the auditorium stage. "I'm going to miss Glee Club. I really am."
"I know you are. So am I. I went home after Glee Club ended and I cried for hours-even my mom who is usually good at consoling me couldn't do it. I was heartbroken and I made everyone think I was okay while I was here..." Finn sighed, patting Mr. Schuester's shoulder. "I did want to say you're a great teacher and you're always going to be a great teacher. I wanted to know why Sue would cut the Glee Club. Was there something we missed or…"
"Sue's vindictive and insensitive." Mr. Schuester shrugged his shoulders. "I should have known it was going to come from her. I really should have known." Finn and Mr. Schuester continued to sit on the stage as Finn looked out, a smug smile appearing on his face.
"Actually, Sue's not all that insensitive." Finn said.
"She cut the Glee Club, what makes you think he's not a terrible person?" Mr. Schuester asked. Finn thought for a moment before he continued on with his story.
"How could you cut the Glee club?!" Finn yelled as he made his way over to Sue Sylvester. "I knew you were selfish and insensitive but this is a new low, Sue! It's a new low for you!"
"Do you mind if I ask you why are you making such a scene?" Sue seemed unfazed by Finn's behavior.
"You're a monster, Sue. That's what you are." Finn crossed his arms. "The Glee Club is one of the few things this school has left. Kids need the arts; it's what helps them become better people." Sue simply motioned Finn into her office, although Finn was reluctant to follow. As soon as Finn and Sue entered the office, Sue closed the door and the cold expression she had on turned sympathetic.
"You think I really wanted to cut the dopey Glee club?" Sue questioned as she took a seat next to Finn. "Trust me; if anything I would want the Glee Club to continue just so I could make William Schuester's life a living hell."
"Wait, so you didn't want to cut the Glee Club?" Finn was now confused. "So if you didn't want to cut it…why is it gone?"
"It's called budget cuts, Finnegan." Sue shrugged her shoulders. Finn wasn't sure what he was more surprised about—the fact Sue knew his whole first name or she had a heart. "Trust me, you kids are annoying as hell but somehow you find some way to be optimistic. If New Directions and Glee Club can turn your lazy ass into a successful college student who just won Nationals and if it can turn your pathetic excuse of a wife into a Broadway star, then there was still hope for the rest of those losers."
"My wife's not pathetic." Finn simply stated before Sue continued.
"The point is Finn, the club wasn't all bad…but the school board thinks New Directions was a waste of money and time…" Sue sighed. "I don't want you or Will to think that just because I made your life hell, it didn't mean I didn't like you…as a matter of fact, you're a good kid and I'm happy for you…don't tell anyone I said that or I will deny it." Finn chuckled, his eyes not faltering from Sue's.
"I'm gonna miss you, Sue." Finn softly said.
"I don't know how that's possible, but thank you…" Sue gave Finn a kind smile before giving him a hug. "By the way, with the money the school is getting, I decided to enforce a no-bully policy…in favor of your sister. When you came into my office and gave me a piece of your mind…I had to admit, I was surprised, but I was also touched by your actions."
"Wow…" Finn said. "That's great Sue, thank you...So, what are you going to do with Bree?"
"Bree's going to face some time in detention…during summer school for what she did to Marley. Also, Noah Puckerman told me she and his brother Jake Puckerman had a little too much fun on school grounds, mostly the janitors closet so Jake will join her." Sue folded her hands, still looking at Finn. "I'm not going to let another student get bullied, not while I'm around." Finn grinned as Sue patted his shoulder, causing Finn to feel some sort of relief. Sue wasn't a bad person after all—maybe Sue was just misunderstood. "But I'm not going to stop making fun of butt chin..." Yep, there was the Sue Finn knew.
"Wait, so Sue really said all that?" Mr. Schuester sounded surprised.
"Yep, she did." Finn agreed. "Sue's not that bad of a person…as a matter of fact, I think she really likes New Directions…don't tell her I told you."
"I won't." Mr. Schuester laughed as he and Finn continued to look at each other. "I got an offer to direct a show choir…at Carmel High."
"Wait, you got an offer to direct Vocal Adrenaline?" Finn wondered.
"Yeah." Mr. Schuester said. "I mean, apparently they think I can turn their Glee Club around…despite of what happened to New Directions at Nationals this year. Their coach was fired, so…"
"Are you going to take the job?" Finn couldn't help but ask.
"I don't know…" Mr. Schuester admitted. "I haven't decided yet. This is an amazing opportunity to continue with show choir, but those aren't my kids…they're not just going to listen to me."
"Look, you're a great leader and you can help anyone." Finn figured it was time someone gave Mr. Schuester a pep talk. "I admit, they're not going to respect you right away, but…you'd have to give it time. Besides, if anyone can turn Vocal Adrenaline around, it's you." Mr. Schuester smiled at his former student, patting him on his back.
"When did you get so smart?" Mr. Schuester proudly asked, seeing Finn was shrugging his shoulders.
"I learned it from you, Mr. Schue…" Finn held out his hand for Mr. Schuester to shake. "Whatever happens, it was an honor being your student…"
"It was an honor teaching you, Finn…it really was." Mr. Schuester agreed, shaking Finn's hand with gusto. Finn got up from his seat, heading towards the auditorium exit. Finn turned around once more, giving Mr. Schuester a smile before heading out and closing the door. Mr. Schuester sat there a little while longer before getting up and going towards the back exit, turning off the lights of the auditorium and leaving it for possibly the last time.
That evening Marley had invited Puck over to her house, knowing that her mother wasn't going to be home until after her late bingo game, with hopes that she could spend some alone time with him. She knew being with Puck had its ups and downs, bit she admitted she really loved him-she even was sure he was the only guy that she actually trusted. Currently Marley and Puck were lying on the couch making out while the television played Titanic in the background. She didn't tell him she was going to New York as of yet but she planned to. She wanted to surprise him. Marley removed her lips from his for a moment, giving him a smile while they looked into each other's eyes. She sat up on his lap, pulling him along with her so they were face to face, with Puck pressing a kiss to her cheek. Marley smiled at him, realizing now was a good time to tell him her news.
"So, I have something to tell you." Marley softly said, taking one of his hands in hers. Puck stared at her, trying to wonder what it was. A million things went through his mind, the first one being Marley probably didn't want to be with him anymore. "I'm leaving Lima." Marley softly said, with Puck's eyebrows furrowing. She was leaving Lima, which probably meant their breakup was coming next.
"Wait, you're leaving Lima?" Puck wondered, his face turning saddened. "Why are you leaving Lima?"
"Because..." Marley shrugged her shoulders, getting up from his lap as she sat down on the couch, but Puck let out a sad sigh.
"Wait, I think I know where this is going." Puck moved into a sitting position on the couch, looking away from her. "You don't want to be with me anymore. You're leaving Lima and we have to break up because where you're going is far. I get it. I've kind of been through breakups before and this how they all start. It's just...I've had such a good time with you. You're amazing and beautiful and..." Puck was interrupted by Marley giggling as he turned to her, raising an eyebrow with confusion. "Wait, why are you laughing?"
"Because you're jumping to conclusions and you're not letting me finish my thought." Marley chuckled, leaning towards him and taking his hand. "I'm leaving Lima for the summer...because I'm going to New York City...with you." Marley's words caused Puck to widen his eyes, seeing she was smiling at him.
"Wait, you're going to New York?" Puck sounded excited. "Really?!"
"Really!" Marley nodded her head, pressing a kiss to his cheek. "Finn invited me to be in the loft during the summer. I hope you don't mind."
"No, of course not! I don't mind." Puck stared into her eyes, pulling her close to him as she wrapped her arms around his neck. "So you're not breaking up with me?"
"No, of course not." Marley shook her head quickly, still looking at him. She didn't know what was coming over her-she continued gazing at him, taking his hands in hers and pressing a passionate kiss to his lips. Her kiss turned hungry and she wasn't quite sure what was coming over her. She found her hands roaming to the front of his buttoned down shirt, with her toying with the buttons as she found herself unbuttoning the top button. She snapped out of her trance when Puck broke the kiss, staring at her and noticing that she had undone the top two buttons on his shirt, wondering what this meant. Marley wasn't sure what came over her, until she realized what her heart was telling her. She wanted Puck...and it was a feeling she never had before. She took a deep breath to cool down, simply pressing her lips to his, although Puck had to admit he was confused from what just happened. Was she about to take off his shirt and escalate things because she wanted to or was it because it was in the heat of the moment? Marley heard the door to the house open with Marley removing her lips from his, Puck quickly buttoning up the two buttons Marley had undone. Marley moved to the side and leaned her head on his shoulder, seeing her mother had entered the living room. Millie gazed at Marley and Puck's intertwined hands with a smile tugging at her lips. She had some feeling Marley was going to end up dating Puck after seeing him be there for her while Marley was at her lowest.
"Hi sweetheart." Millie smiled, noticing Marley was gazing at her. "You and your friend watching a movie?" Marley stared at the T.V., realizing they were at the end of Titanic.
"Yeah, we were just watching Titanic. Poor Jack and Rose never got their happy ending." Marley played along. Puck smiled looking over at her while Marley smiled back at him. She got up from the sofa, pulling Puck along with her. There was no more hiding things. She told the Glee Club about her relationship...might as well tell her mother as well. "Mom, there's someone I want you to meet. Mom, this is my boyfriend Noah. Noah, this is my mom, Millie." Puck held out his hand for Millie to shake, with Millie obliging.
"It's nice to meet you ma'am." Puck said, using his manners as he greeted Marley's mother. Millie smiled over at Marley as Marley blushed, seeing she was gazing at Puck with a smile.
"It's very nice to meet you too Noah." Millie smiled towards him. "So you're the one that helped Marley when she was being bullied. I appreciate everything you did for her."
"It was my pleasure." Puck waved it off as if it was nothing. "She actually kind of saved me too in a way." Marley was surprised to hear Puck speak that way, but she probably realized it was true.
"Well, I was just going to get started on dinner with the $500 I won at bingo tonight." Millie said, seeing Marley's face turned excited. Millie cleared her throat, facing Puck again with a smile. "Would you like to stay for supper, Noah?"
"If you don't think I'm intruding, I'd love to." Puck smiled. Millie nodded her head, motioning for Marley to follow her.
"Marley, sweetie can you help me put stuff away in the kitchen for a minute?" Millie wondered. Marley nodded her head, facing Puck with slightly smile.
"I'll be right back." Marley kissed Puck's cheek quickly before making her way to the kitchen. Millie turned around with a smile, seeing Marley was blushing and peering back in the living room.
"Wasn't that Jake's brother?" Millie seemed interested. "I mean, I'm so happy you're happy sweetheart but, wouldn't it be weird if you were dating your ex-boyfriend's older brother?"
"Dating Jake was mistake." Marley was firm. "I thought Jake was the one but I guess not."
"I just want you to be careful sweetheart." Millie softly said. "Noah seems like a very nice boy, but older boys do expect something in return in a relationship. I just don't want you to feel pressured into doing anything you don't want to."
"Puck hasn't done that..." Marley softly defended him, the smile still on her face. "He's respected my personal space and never put his hands where I didn't want them. He's been nothing short of a gentlemen." Marley hesitated for a moment, gaining slight confidence as she spoke. "Mom...can I ask you a question?" Millie looked up from the groceries, seeing Marley stuffed her hands in her pockets.
"Of course, sweetheart." Millie said. Marley started at her mother, biting her lower lip and letting out a sigh.
"Um...how do you know when it's the right time to bring sex into a relationship?" Marley's question caused her to wince and turn embarrassed. She simply shook her head, going into the bag and taking out a grocery. "Never mind, it...it was a dumb question."
"No, Marley..." Millie soothingly told her daughter, causing Marley to stare at her. "Honey, that's not a dumb question. Are you thinking..." Millie and Marley looked towards the living room, staring at Puck who was looking at a baby picture of Marley, and the girls couldn't help but smile at the look on his face-he looked at the picture as if Marley had been the cutest baby in the world. Marley stared back at her mother, nodding her head.
"Yeah...I have." Marley sighed. "I literally almost ripped his shirt off like ten minutes ago...and...I never did that to anyone before."
"Marley...I want you to be sure about something; are you in love with Noah...or are you in love with what he did for you, because those are two different things." Millie gazed at Marley softly, reaching for her daughter's hand. Marley thought about it for a few moments, nodding her head with assurance.
"I'm sure I love him." Marley answered, with Millie rubbing her back slightly. "He's an amazing person...no one sees him for that. I just wanted your advice on this because...I haven't spoken to him about it although he might have a slight idea from the way I was acting five minutes ago."
"Then do like I said. When you know you're ready, let him know. From the way you're speaking it sounds like it could happen soon." Marley blushed, looking away but Millie hugged her daughter. "Marley, it's okay...you're growing up and it's normal to experience feelings like these. Make sure to listen to your heart and when you feel the time is right, everything will fall into place. Remember, I'm still going to love you and consider you my little girl. Just remember to use protection, okay?" Marley nodded her head once more, putting her hands in her pocket.
"This is a very embarrassing topic." Marley told her mother, her face softening "But thank you for listening." Millie patted her daughters shoulder, heading over to the counter.
"I'm your mother, it's my job to talk about embarrassing topics sweetheart." Millie chuckled, winking at her daughter. "I'm going to get started on dinner. Why don't you go to the living room and keep Noah busy until then...but keep it PG." Marley giggled, hugging her mother tightly before walking away into the living room with Millie releasing a small smile. Her daughter was growing up and trying more adult things, and although she was scared of losing her one day, she knew Marley was always going to be her little girl, no matter what
The next day, Artie cleaned out his McKinley locker for the final time, staring around at the hallways around him. He had to admit he was proud of himself for graduating and finding his heart in Glee Club and directing. He was going to go and be a successful member of society...in New York City, the greatest city in the world. But there was something nagging him-he couldn't leave without saying goodbye to one particular person. Artie closed his locker and rolled to the empty choir room, only to find Kitty standing by the piano, which was the only thing left in the room. Artie took a deep breath and entered, slowly rolling his wheelchair next to her. Kitty felt Artie's presence, but she didn't say much as they looked at the whiteboard.
"I'm surprised you're still here." Kitty chuckled softly, seeing Artie was shrugging his shoulders. "I thought you would have been on a plane to New York right now or something."
"My flight's not supposed to leave until tomorrow." Artie admitted, folding his hands together. Kitty sighed, looking at Artie was a slightly saddened expression.
"I know that you're going to have the time of your life in New York." Kitty softly said, gazing at Artie who was looking up at her. "Artie...you made me feel like the luckiest girl in the world these last few months, and there's nothing more that I can say except for thank you...but once you roll out those doors today, you know that things are going to end. We can't be together because it will be too hard."
"So you feel the same way I do?" Artie wondered, noticing she was nodding her head.
"Yeah...I mean, long distance relationships are tough...they're not fun...and let's face it, you'd never come home in the summer because there would never be a reason for you to." Kitty shrugged her shoulders. "I don't want to hold you back."
"You're breaking up with me?" Artie whispered, noticing Kitty was getting down to Artie's level. She ran a hand through his hair, shrugging her shoulders.
"I'm setting you free." Kitty said with Artie agreeing slowly. "You're going to go to New York and you're going to be the best director that school has ever seen. And then you're going to win awards and you're going to make it to the big time...and I can proudly say that I was friends with Artie Abrams. You're extraordinary Artie and don't you forget that. I'll always love you...and I love you enough to let you go." Artie smiled at Kitty, grabbing her hand and squeezing it slowly.
"I love you Kitty..." Artie said, gazing in her eyes. "I'm going to miss you."
"You can always come back and visit McKinley." Kitty and Artie then stared at the piano, a slight sadness taking over them. "I don't think the piano will be here next year but...I will be..." Artie smiled at Kitty, seeing she had cleared her throat. "Well, I better go. I'm supposed to meet Marley before she leaves for the summer." Kitty saw Artie's hand grip hers, with Kitty smiling softly.
"Do you think I could get a kiss goodbye?" Artie wondered, with Kitty nodding her head slowly.
"I don't think I can object to that." Kitty softly said, leaning in and pressing her lips to Artie's. They stayed that way for a few moments, knowing that this was the last time they were going to kiss each other, taking time to part their lips while gazing into each other's eyes. "Goodbye, Artie."
"Goodbye, Kitty." Artie softly said, Kitty getting up from her position and leaving the empty choir room. Artie took a look around, realizing that this was a new fresh start for him...he was going to go to New York and make everyone proud-he was going to be a success story.
"So have you thought about it?" Blaine and Kurt were currently in The Lima Bean, getting some iced coffee as they sat in one of the booths. It was after Blaine's graduation and Kurt figured what better way to celebrate the completion of high school than with some coffee and a nice chat with his boyfriend? "I mean, you said that were interested in my proposal and I gave you a lot of time to think about it...two months to be exact. I remember last week I asked you what you thought and you said, 'I'm busy watching The Real Housewives of Orange County'. Seriously, I think that we can see The Real Housewives of Alaska in our future the way all these spin-offs are popping up."
"Oh! If we're lucky, we might see The Real Housewives of London." Kurt sipped his coffee, staring at Blaine, noticing that they were going to have to talk about this; they were going to have to talk about the pending proposal. "Blaine, do we have to have this conversation now?"
"Yes, we do." Blaine chuckled, folding his hands together. "Look, two months is a lot of time to think about our relationship...and come on, a lot has happened in two months. Finn and Rachel are two months closer to starring on Funny Girl and potentially thinking about expanding their family in the future, Puck has a girlfriend that he's extremely into and I don't know, everyone has their lives looking bright going forward and I just want us to find that same happiness...I gave you some time to think about it..."
"I know you did." Kurt agreed, nodding his head slowly. Kurt did admit he was pondering long and hard, but he was also worried about how their relationship would change. "I'm still thinking about this next chapter in our lives. I mean, this is a big step Blaine…I want to be with you forever but do we really have to worry about whether we're engaged or dating?"
"No, we don't." Blaine agreed. "But this is something I want, something we both should want. And it's not like we have to be like Finn and Rachel and get married right away, we can take our time. I just want us to be engaged, I want it to mean that I'm yours, you're mine and no one is going to split us apart in the big city. I know you're hesitant, but…I love you and we're going to be in the same big city of New York, like we always wanted. There's nothing holding us back…it's going to be me and you against the world. So what do you say, Kurt? Are you willing to at least give this a try?" Kurt continued to look over at Blaine, nodding his head slowly while slyly drinking his cup of coffee. He had to admit, Blaine really knew how to pitch an idea.
"All right, all right…you convinced me." Kurt flashed Blaine a huge grin as he continued to speak. "I'll marry you…" Blaine smiled and leaned over to kiss his new fiancé, with Kurt having no issue in kissing Blaine back. Kurt parted his lips from Blaine's with a question in his mind. "The loft is really packed as of right now and with Finn inviting Marley over for the summer, space is tight...although I'm unsure why he wanted her to spend the summer with us in the city…"
"Oh, I have the living conditions thing all sorted out." Blaine said. "Tina, Artie, Sam and I found an apartment in the same building as you guys and we're moving across the hall. It would be like we'd see each other all the time but we'd still kind of get our space!"
"Wait, you got an apartment across the hall? That's incredible!" Kurt grinned, looking at Blaine with interest. "How did you pull that off?"
"Well we all obviously have to get jobs but in the meantime, $1800 isn't bad if you split it among four people. Plus, Artie's mom said she'd help out in anyway she can." Blaine smiled.
"Oh my goodness I am so happy! Everyone's going to be in New York and we're all going to be happy and we're going to have the greatest summer ever!" Kurt hugged Blaine once more, causing Blaine to laugh. "It will be great since in New York we can all be there for each other!"
"Yep." Blaine agreed. "I think New York is going to do just fine with us taking over the world, right?" Kurt nodded his head, looking over to one of the patrons who had a guitar in their hand, just strumming along. "Hey! Do you think you can play us something?" Blaine questioned. The guitarist nodded his head and he started to play a song that was a familiar one; one that would lead them into the transition of heading into New York City. The future was big, the future was bright and New York had to prepare for them because they were about to take a bite out of the big apple!
{Guitarist starts to play a few notes and Blaine smiles at Kurt while Kurt shrugs his shoulders with a playful smile}
