Chapter 53:

"Quinn! You came!" Michael squealed as he ran over the blonde that was making her way from the parking lot to the soccer field.

Quinn beamed as she leant down and engulfed the little boy in a hug, "Of course I did, buddy… Wouldn't miss it," the softball captain expressed as she pulled back and then handed the boy a blue bag, "I also got you a present."

Michael squealed out in excitement as he took the bag and opened it up, pulling out a blue t-shirt with Easton written on the back. The boy looking back to Quinn, "I have one in green… And I know blue is your favorite color. I wear it when I have softball practice, I thought you could wear yours to soccer practice."

The boy nodded seriously and then pulled the blonde in a hug, "Thanks… It's cool," Michael stated.

The softball captain smiled as they separated, the blonde standing up and patting the boy on the back, "Go be with your team, buddy… And I'll see you after the game."

The boy nodded and was about to turn and run off but quickly turned back to Quinn, "Can you give this to mommy and daddy?"

Quinn nodded as she took the shirt and bag from the boy and watched him run over to the soccer field. The blonde smiling as she made her way over to greet her girlfriend, her girlfriends fathers, and Leon and Louise. Rachel walked over to the blonde, meeting her half way, "What are you doing here? Why aren't you in Columbus with Anne?" Rachel beamed as she pulled her girlfriend in a hug.

"I wasn't going to miss Michael's first soccer game… I left practice early to come here," Quinn said as she pulled out of the embrace.

Rachel smiled as she reached down to entwine their hands together, "So does that mean I can spend tonight with you?"

The softball captain sadly shook her head; "I'm actually going back up to Columbus tonight for practice tomorrow." Quinn's started to stay up at Columbus over the weekend so she doesn't need to travel back to Lima on Saturday night and then drive back to Columbus Sunday morning, it was starting to trier out the blonde.

The brunette nodded in understanding then turned to walk with her girlfriend to her fathers and uncle and aunt; "Let me go introduce you to my daddy's parents."

Quinn went wide eyed and stopped walking, "Your grandparents are here?"

Rachel smiled and nodded, "Yes, they wanted to come watch Michael's first soccer match."

The blonde just stared at her girlfriend; the brunette seeing the worried look on Lucy's face and giggled, "Baby, they will love you."

Quinn just nodded letting Rachel pull on her hand as they walked over to the Berry family. LeRoy spotting the teenaged couple first and pulled Quinn into a hug, "Sweetie, it's so good to see you."

The blonde smiled in the embrace and as soon as LeRoy released her Hiram pulled her into another hug, "How's Anne treating you? I don't need to go up there and say some awful words to her for not being polite to you… Do I?"

Quinn laughed as she pulled back and shook her head, "No you don't… Anne's been teaching me a lot… I'm thankful that she's helping me out."

The blonde then said her hellos to Leon and Louise and handed over the gift she got of Michael. Rachel then walked back over to her girlfriend and wrapped her arm around the blondes waist, "Baby… I want you to meet my grandparents."

Quinn turned and saw an older looking LeRoy standing next to petite aged woman with gray hair. "Lucy, this is my Bubbe Rose and my Zayde Levi… Bubbe, Zayde… This is my girlfriend, Quinn," Rachel voiced with a smile on her face.

The blonde reached out to shake Rachel's grandfathers hand, "Mr. Berry, it's a pleasure to me you, Sir."

The man smiled and shook her hand. Then Quinn turned to Rachel's grandmother, she didn't know if she should shake her hand or hug the lady but she knew from Rachel that the lady had a kind, loving heart so she thought to go all out. Quinn walked over and pulled the aged lady into a hug pulling back and kissing her cheek, "Mrs. Berry, it's great to finally meet you."

Rose smiled as she pulled back and looked up at the blonde, "Quinn… What a pleasure… My zin and eynikl can't stop talking about you." Quinn pulled back and smiled… Thank God Rachel has started to teach her Yiddish words.

"Quinn!" Michael yelled out as he ran onto the field. The blonde turned from Rachel's grandmother and looked at the little boy, his soccer t-shirt was a little too big for him. The boy waved and then turned as the referee blew his whistle. Rachel walked over to her girlfriend and wrapped her arm around the blonde's waist, Quinn doing the same to the brunette. "Someone has an admirer," Rachel's grandmother said from her spot next to Quinn.

The blonde smiled and nodded, Rachel leaned around her girlfriend to look at her Bubbe and nodded, "You have no idea."

Quinn chuckled as she turned to her girlfriend, placing a kiss on her forehead, "I love you, baby."

Rachel beamed, "I'm so glad you made it."

"So am I," the softball captain stated as she smiled and returned her focus to the little boy running on the field.

Monday afternoon came and found Quinn walking into the choir room with Rachel next to her, the couple looked up at the risers and spotted Tina next to Mike, the Asian boy leaning over and placing a soft kiss on his girlfriend's lips. Rachel smiled, "Awwww… You two are adorable," the brunette stated. Tina and Mike officially started to be a couple near the end of summer holidays.

Tina turned as she heard her best friend and started to blush, "Sorry… I didn't know anyone was here yet."

The brunette shrugged and then walked over to join Tina and Mike, the blonde following after her girlfriend. The group of four got into a light conversation as they waited for the other members of the Glee Club to come in.

As the risers started to fill up Rachel and Quinn went and sat on the chairs at the front, Puck walked in and sat down next to the blonde.

"You wanna have a COD sess tonight?" the mohawk boy stated.

Quinn shrugged, "Yeah… I could come on for a bit, but Rach will be over, like every Monday night." Rachel's been starting to stay at the blonde every Sunday and Monday night because of the lack of time they get to spend together over the weekends.

Puck nodded, "Cool, because I needa ask you something."

The softball captain scrunched up her face confused and was just about to ask the boy what it was but they got interrupted by Mr. Schue walking in with Finn and… Sam?

Mr. Schue beamed as he placed his things on the piano, "We have a new member, guys…" the Glee teacher turned to the blonde boy standing next to Finn. "Everyone, this is Sam."

Finn patted the blonde boy on the back as he walked over to the riser to take a seat. Puck was the first out of the Glee kids to say something, "He should have a duet with Q," the boy expressed and then started to laugh when he noticed the blonde boy blushing.

Quinn turned in her chair and pushed Puck in the shoulder, the boy almost falling out of his chair. At the same time Quinn pushed Puck, Rachel voiced a high pitch, "Absolutely not!"

Mr. Schue looked at the three teenagers in the front row, not understanding why they were reacting the way they were with the new addition to the team, "Guys, is everything okay?"

Puck just nodded as he started to chuckle, "Yeah, we're good, Mr. Schue."

Quinn and Puck overheard Kurt behind them whispering in Mercedes ear, "He looks like he plays on my team."

Puck turned around, "Sorry Kurt, but he definitely doesn't," the mohawk boy said as he started to laugh again, memories resurfacing in his head.

The softball captain turning to her best friend, "I will seriously push you off your chair if you don't shut up."

The mohawk boy just smirking. Rachel moving her hand to embrace it with her girlfriend's, to try and calm her down, Quinn turned to the brunette and smiled, "It's times like this that make me miss San being here."

Rachel leaned over to her girlfriend and whispered in her ear, "Don't you think Santana would be making fun of you like Noah is right now?"

Quinn leaned back and started to nod, "You're probably right… I guess I shouldn't be missing San than."

The brunette gave her girlfriend a little giggle as she nodded, then moved her chair closer to her girlfriend so she could lean on the blondes shoulder, Quinn wrapping her arm around her as the two refocused back on Mr. Schue.

That afternoon there was a knock on Quinn's bedroom door, "You two not doing anything disgusting?" Santana voiced.

Quinn laughed, "No, you can come in."

The Latina opened up the door and peeked her head inside; when she noticed that both Quinn and Rachel were laid out on the bed, both on their stomachs and both clothed she took that as a safe sign to enter.

"I thought you wouldn't be coming," Quinn voiced as Santana walked in and started to move the one seater couch near Quinn's window to the blonde's bed.

"Just because I didn't text to confirm, doesn't mean I was bailing on you… I said every Monday and Wednesday afternoon," Santana said as she sat down.

The softball captain just nodded. Rachel on the other hand moved to a sitting position as she started to close her books, "Well I'll leave you two alone… I might go downstairs to the kitchen and finish off my homework there."

Quinn turned to her girlfriend, "You don't need to leave."

Rachel shrugged, "I don't want to distract you," the brunette expressed and then leaned over and placed a kiss on her girlfriend's cheek.

The brunette slipped out of the room, closing the door behind her to leave Quinn and Santana alone. The blonde turning to her best friend as she sat up on her bed, leaning against her bedhead as she grabbed her Spanish book from the bedside table and opened it up, "Thanks for helping me out."

Santana shrugged, "I'd probably be as crap as you if I didn't learn Spanish as a kid."

"I'm not crap… I'm getting B's… I need A's," Quinn stated seriously.

The Latina chuckled and playfully rolled her eyes, "Okays we gonna do this or what?"

Just over an hour later had Quinn closing her Spanish book with a sigh of relief, "Well that was hell."

Santana chuckled, "I say you drop it."

The blonde turned to her best friend, "The only reason you're saying that is so you don't need to tutor me anymore."

The Latina laughed as she nodded, "I should be billin you for my time."

Quinn rolled her eyes, then leaned over to grab her phone to text her girlfriend that her and Santana had finished. A minute later found Rachel walking back into her girlfriends room, "How was your study session?" the brunette expressed as she slipped onto the bed and cuddled up next to her girlfriend.

"When San started to get bored of making fun of me for the way I say some things it was fine," Quinn voiced seriously. Santana just burst out laughing and nodded in agreement.

Rachel stared at Santana and just pouted at her, the Latina seeing it and playfully rolling her eyes. Santana then looking at the two, "So I heard Trouty Mouth joined Glee."

The couple scrunched up their faces confused. "Trouty Mouth?" Quinn wondered.

"You know… New blonde guy with massive fish like lips," Santana shrugged.

Rachel's mouth went wide in shock, "That's horrible, Santana."

"Oh please… I know you're not a fan of him because he tried to mack on with Q," the Latina stated.

"How do you know that?" Quinn wondered.

Santana shrugged, "I have my ways."

"You're talking to Puck aren't you," the blonde smiled as she begun to chuckle.

The Latina rolled her eyes, "Maybe."

There was a knock on the open door as Judy entered her daughter's room, the three teenagers turning to the older blonde, "Seeing as your father's away I've decided to order in tonight… Paige and Jack want Breadstix…" Judy trailed off.

Quinn rolled her eyes, "Breadstix… Seriously mum? There's only salad for a vegan."

Judy smiled and nodded, "Yes I know. That's why I'm coming to you, I was just about to ask what you and Rachel would like."

"Oh," Quinn chuckled, and then turned to her girlfriend, "What do you feel like?"

Rachel just shrugged. "How about some Thai?" Quinn wondered. The brunette smiled, "Thai sounds perfect."

Judy nodded in understanding then looked over at Santana, "Did you want me to order you something from Breadstix?"

Santana looked like she wanted to drown herself as she shook her head, "I told Mami I'd be home for dinner."

Quinn laughed at the look her best friend was suiting, the Latina just glaring at her as Judy smiled and walked out of her daughter's room.

Santana then looked at the couple, "So tell me all the goss about this Guppy Lips kid," the Latina stated seriously as she placed her feet up on the blonde's bed, getting herself comfortable in the one seater couch.

Later that night Quinn walked up to her TV to grab her controller and headset off her XBOX. "Can I play?" Rachel asked from her spot on her girlfriend's bed.

Quinn spun around and smiled, "Really?"

Rachel smiled and shrugged, "Why not, I see you play with Noah all the time and I don't understand the obsession of running around and shooting zombies or people… Maybe I'll be able to find out once I give it a go."

The blonde chuckled but nodded, "Did you want a headset so you can speak to Puck?"

The brunette nodded, "I'd feel more professional."

Quinn continued to laugh as she grabbed the other controller and headset, walking back over to her girlfriend and handing them over. "We'll play zombies first because they don't shoot back… Just eat you."

Rachel's face contorted in disgust, "How can you be okay with killing zombies… Doesn't it scare you? Have you even watched any zombie movies?" the brunette asked as she placed the headset on and got comfortable against the bedhead.

The softball player shook her head, "They honestly scared me when I first started but I'm use to them now… And no, I haven't watched any zombie movies."

Rachel just nodded at the information and then looked down at her controller, "So what buttons regulate what?"

Quinn laughed as she joined her girlfriend, turning on the brunette's wireless controller. The blonde turning to the TV to set up the game, going into her list of friends and clicking on Puckzillar and waiting for the mohawk boy to accept the party invitation.

The blonde then turned to her girlfriend and pointed to the necessary buttons and started to teach Rachel. "Yo babe… Who's your plus one?" Puck said through the headset.

"Oh… It's like talking to you on the phone… Hello Noah," Rachel smiled as she spoke in her headset.

"Is that my fellow Jew I hear?" Puck stated.

Quinn chuckled, "Yes, Rach wanted to play."

"Hot!"

The softball captain just rolled her eyes. "So you up for some zombies? I'm sure we'll have to revive Rach a few times," Quinn stated.

"All good with me," the boy voiced.

When the game started Rachel screamed out when a zombie started to attach her player in the game and went down straight away, Quinn burst out laughing, "Baby, you're suppose to shoot them, not stand there and let them eat you."

Rachel pouted, "It came up behind me… And it scared me… Plus I was trying to do what you and Noah are doing."

Puck laughed, "Babe… Don't try and knife them… You need to learn how to shoot first."

Quinn nodded. "Okay, well could one of you come over and please bring my character back to life?" Rachel asked. The blonde chuckled and nodded.

The three continued on with their game, not getting far on levels because of Rachel dying all the time but she at least was starting to get better, as they started a new game Quinn spoke up, "So Puck, what did you want to talk about?"

"Oh, it's cool, I can talk to you later," Puck stated.

"Are you okay, Noah? You're not in any trouble are you?" Rachel wondered seriously.

The mohawk boy chuckle through his headset, "Na, babe… I'm all good."

"Just spit it out, Puck," Quinn stated.

"Well I was kinda hoping I'd ask you this alone," Puck confessed.

"Oh, I can go if need be," Rachel voiced.

"Is it something private? Don't tell me you've developed a growth somewhere because I will not be checking that out," Quinn stated seriously.

Puck burst out laughing, while Rachel's face distorted in repulsion. "No for both, my big Puckster downstairs is all good."

"Noah, could you be a little less nauseating?" Rachel asked seriously.

"Sorry, babe," Puck chuckled.

"Puck, just tell me what it is," Quinn stated.

"Okay… But I don't want you to hate me… Like you can say no and I'd understand," the mohawk boy voiced seriously.

"Should I stop this game?" Quinn wondered, getting a bit worried.

"Na… Maybe you'll want to kill things after I tell you."

"Okay, what is it?" the softball captain wondered.

"Ummm… I… I kinda want to ask you if… If I can ask your sister out on a date," Puck voiced softly.

Quinn just paused. "Baby… Your player's going to die," Rachel stated as she watched Quinn stop playing.

The blonde just sat there with her hands on her controller just staring at the game, her player was already down; Rachel's player was actually hovering over her to revive her.

"Q? You there?" Puck asked.

Quinn didn't say anything. "She's just processing what you asked, Noah," Rachel voiced through her headset.

"Should I go?" Puck wondered, starting to get upset.

The brunette looked at her girlfriend who slowly shook her head, "No, just give her a minute," Rachel wondered, the brunette stopped playing, placing the controller down. Rachel took off her headset and turned to her girlfriend, moving the microphone up so Puck wouldn't be able to hear their conversation. "Baby, are you okay?" Rachel wondered.

Quinn turned and started to shake her head, "Did he seriously just ask me if he could ask Paige out?"

The brunette slowly nodded. "What am I suppose to say?" the blonde voiced.

Rachel moved her hand to embrace it with her girlfriends, "That's up to you."

Quinn nodded and then moved the microphone of her headset back down to line up with her mouth, "So you like my sister?"

"Yes," Puck stated seriously.

"How long have you liked her for?" the blonde wondered.

"Ummm a while."

"What's a while?" the blonde stated.

"More than a few months," Puck voiced.

Quinn went wide-eyed, "More than a few months! How come you never told me?" the blonde said, she wasn't pissed off she was more surprised.

"I… I didn't want to wreck our friendship," the mohawk boy said softly. "I thought my feelings would go away… But they haven't, Q."

The blonde rubbed her forehead and sighed. "Look Q, I'm sorry, okay… I didn't plan it and if you say no, I'll respect that… But I really like Paige and if she wants to date me I will treat her right," Puck confessed.

Quinn lightly chuckled, "Treat her right… What's that suppose to mean, Puck? You sleep with a girl and then move on… I won't let you do that to my sister," the softball player stated seriously.

"I wouldn't do that to her… She's different; she's not just some girl I wanna screw… I'm sure you can at least understand that," Puck expressed.

The blonde took a breath in and then turned to her girlfriend… Yeah she could.

"I don't know, Puck," Quinn stated.

"I get that… Just know that I've given this a lot of thought, I really like her…" Puck took a breath, "Look, you're the first person who has ever really trusted me, and I don't want to mess that up… You're my best friend and I love you, Q… I've thought of all the possibilities that could happen if I ask Paige out, and I… And I really want to give this a shot."

Quinn rubbed her forehead again, Rachel squeezing their conjoined hands. The blonde closed her eyes and pinched the top of her nose, taking a breath in and out, "Okay…" the blonde whispered out.

"Okay?!" Puck voiced surprised.

The blonde nodded, "Yes… Just… Can you give me a couple weeks to wrap my head around it before you ask her out?"

The mohawk boy beamed as he started to nod, "Yeah, Q. Of course. Thank you."

Quinn nodded, "Like you said Puck, you're one of my best friends, and as annoying as you can be, I do love you, and I trust that you would do the right thing when it comes to dating my sister."

"Thank you, Q," Puck voiced seriously.

The blonde just nodded, turning to her girlfriend who was smiling at her, Rachel leaned over and give her girlfriend a chaste kiss on the lips. The brunette leaned back and grabbed her headset and put it back on, she may not of heard what Puck said but she knew the blondes answer. Rachel grabbed her controller and repositioned herself against the headboard; she moved her leg to place over her girlfriends, Quinn smiling at it. "Noah, you up for another game?" Rachel asked.

Quinn turned her head and leaned in to place a peck on her girlfriend's cheek, knowing that the brunette was giving her some time to process everything before they spoke about it… Her girlfriend never ceases to amaze her.

"Sure thing, Jew Princess… Oh wait Artie just jumped on… You want to let him join our party?" Puck wondered.

"Yeah, I'll invite him," Quinn stated with a smile.

Once the boy connected with the other three he said his hellos, "Artstie is in the house… How's it going?"

Rachel giggled while both Quinn and Puck playfully rolled their eyes… Artstie was his gamer name and he said that every time they joined a party together. "Who's giggling?" Artie wondered.

"That would be Rach, dude," Puck voiced.

"Rachel is playing COD?" Artie voiced.

"Yes I am, Artie," Rachel smiled.

"Hot!" Artie stated.

"Okay! You're starting to sound like Puck, Art… Let's play some zombies," Quinn stated.

The wheelchair bound boy chuckled, "I'm down for that."

The blonde set up the game, and then the four teenagers played.

Quinn just locked the door to the equipment room and picked up her bag that was next to her, she was the last person on the softball diamond. The blonde doing one last check to make sure no equipment was left out on the diamond and then turned and made her way to the female sports locker room, expecting that she'd be alone and have a nice quite shower.

As she got into the locker room she walked up to her long red locker and opened it up, the blonde rubbing her right shoulder… She needed to put some ice on it, maybe even book an extra appointment with her physiotherapist because her training sessions up at Capital University are taking their toll on her shoulder.

"Hey," a voice whispered out. Quinn opened her eyes wide, knowing the person behind that voice… No shower for her. The softball captain grabbed the things she needed out of her locker, quickly place them in her bag and shut the locker door. Then spun around to the person who just spoke to her, "I thought everyone went home."

The blonde shook her head as she walked closer to her captain, "Not me, I decided to go for a run after practice."

Quinn just nodded and picked up her bag, "Well I'm going to go home."

The senior walked even closer to the other blonde, "You looked like you were just about to hop into the shower… Maybe you want to join me," Allison voiced flirtatiously.

Quinn rolled her eyes and adjusted her bag strap on her shoulder, "Not a chance."

Unbeknown to the two blondes was that a certain brunette just stepped foot into the locker rooms, wondering why Lucy was taking a while to get her things and then drive them home, she was going to show herself but stopped when she heard Allison start to flirt with her girlfriend. Rachel just stood near the door hidden from the girls' because of the rows of lockers blocking her from the two blondes eyesight.

"Oh come on Quinn, no one has to know, it will be our little secret," Allison whispered flirtatiously as she stepped into Quinn's personal space, leaning one of her hands against the locker, just next to the other blondes head.

"You need to step back now, otherwise you're going to get a slap to the face," Quinn stated seriously.

Allison smirked as she leaned closer, "I've heard some of the rumors about you… I know one girl can't sustain a person like you, Quinn… Let me help you out," the blonde expressed as she quickly leaned in, not giving any warning to her softball captain and planted her lips on the junior.

Quinn's first reaction was to step back as her eyes went wide, but she was against her locker so she couldn't move, so the next thing she quickly thought of was to push the other blonde off her. So that's what the softball captain did, she placed her hands on Allison's shoulders and pushed. The seniors lips detaching from the juniors. When Allison's lips were off Quinn's the softball captain moved her hand and swung it in the air, coming down and connecting her hand to Allison's cheek… Hard. Rachel was about to intervene but the sound of a slap and a gasp from Allison made her stop.

"You're off the team!" Quinn yelled.

Allison smirked as she rubbed her now red cheek, "You can't do that."

"Oh, yes I can! And I am!" Quinn yelled out seriously.

The senior shook her head, "Sarah won't allow it! I'm our first pitcher!"

"Well not anymore!"

Allison shook her head, "You bitch! I could take your captaincy away from you by saying you physically assaulted me!" the senior yelled out, balling up her fists at her sides in anger.

It was Quinn's time to shake her head, "And I could throw that back in your face by saying you sexually assaulted me! You fucking kissed me without my permission!" the softball captain yelled back.

"You're making a big mistake, Quinn!"

"I'm definitely not! I may have been able to just barely tolerate your flirtatiousness towards me… But I won't stand here and let you kiss me! Softball is about teamwork and you need to trust in your other teammates to have your back and cover you in case you make a mistake or know that they'll be in their right position when you need to throw them the ball… And I can hardly look at your face right now! How the hell am I suppose to trust you on my team?! You're off the team as of this very moment!" Quinn yelled out as she moved her hand back up and slapped the seniors cheek again, "You're lucky that wasn't a punch… If you did that to me back in Australia it would have been!" Quinn stated as she repositioned her sling to her bag on her shoulder and stormed past Allison. Rachel quickly left the locker room as she heard her girlfriend leaving.

As Quinn walked out of the school she spotted her girlfriend near her car, the blonde gave out a small smile and made her way over to her, trying to calm herself down from what just happened in the locker room.

"Hey, baby," Quinn stated as she opened up the passenger door for her girlfriend. Rachel gave her a small smile and hopped in.

The whole car ride back to the Berry's was in silence. Rachel wanted to say something but she didn't know what to really say, while Quinn was still wrapping her head around what actually happened in the locker room. As she parked the car in the Berry's driveway she turned to her girlfriend. "Do you want to come in?" Rachel softly asked.

Quinn started to shake her head, "Actually… I… I've got some things to do."

Rachel forced a small smile and nodded as she grabbed her bag; the brunette knew Lucy just needed time to process everything that happened by herself before she spoke to her about it, she trusted her girlfriend that she'd come to her… They don't keep secrets.

Quinn nodded and leaned in to kiss her girlfriend goodbye on the lips but Rachel turned her head so the blonde connected with the brunette's cheek. "I'll call you tonight?" Quinn expressed, a bit confused to why her girlfriend didn't want to kiss her on the lips.

"Yeah, okay," Rachel voiced sadly as she turned and opened the door, walking straight up the porch and into her house without looking back to her girlfriend.

Quinn on the other hand watched her girlfriend slip inside, not understanding why her girlfriend was acting the way she was, but as the blonde restarted her car what just happened in the locker room resurfaced in her mind. The blonde shook her head as she backed out of the driveway… Allison kissed me, does that classify as cheating? Quinn thought to herself as a tightness found it's way in her chest… Fuck, I just cheated on my girlfriend… She felt horrible… How am I going to talk to Rachel about this… Quinn shook her head again as she drove off… Fuck you, Allison.

I apologize if the Yiddish words were wrong. If they are could someone let me know so I can change them. I tried to research them but there's so many different ways to write them on the Internet I didn't know which one was correct.
