53) Courage
Sometimes, she twirls a highlighter between her fingers and allows herself to daydream. She stares at the stacks of impressive-looking legal texts and imagines what their life could be like.
Alicia pictures a townhouse near Capitol Hill, where they'll convince themselves to cook but end up ordering takeout more often than not. She sees a law firm, bustling with interns and assistants and associates and partners, where they have corner offices that face each other. She imagines kids-two or three-with her dark curls and their shared hazel eyes.
If only she had the courage to tell Will how she feels.
