Focus.

This required focus, a tremendous amount of focus to do this. Concentration too. What you could do, the others didn't know, well they only knew the surface of it, you managed to go beyond that surface itself. Submerging yourself into it. You couldn't do this around them, knowing well what they would say if they saw doing this. Especially April. Or Master Splinter. But everyone in the group has taken risk to improve. To better themselves. Why couldn't you?

Doing this hurt. It hurt you. It was painful, but you've endured pain ten times worse. Though with this, it depend on the severity of it of course. Regardless it was energy of some sort. And energy was what you are composed of, in a way. Energy that reside in flesh. Blood, bones, cells...everything that meant being flesh. Being alive.

This dark secret you would keep to yourself. Until it was needed. Which you hoped wouldn't be anytime soon.

*Week Later At the Lair*

Everyone was present for the most important event ever. Mikey blew up your phone for it, he really made sure to keep that best friend title. Making you go on a manhunt to find it, and when it was found. Fireworks exploded in his eyes. Everyone was sent the time and date. It was a end. The end of it all. You still didn't understand why this was so fascinating.

Standing with the energetic turtle, holding a bowl of scraps of colorful paper. With one of those party horns in your mouth. Mikey proudly announces and introduces everyone to the very last...finale...Chris Bradford and his 2 Ruff Crew. Episode. That was your cue, though a few seconds late throw up no launch the bowl of paper up. Instead of taking handfuls and throwing it everywhere. All eyes look up at the lodged bowl in the ceiling. Sometimes you can forget your strength when you get excited.

"Well..."Donnie comments, looking at the others.

"...Did I not do it correctly?"you said unsure. Following a piece of paper float down and land on your nose. Causing you to let out a small cute sneeze.

Casey just laughs, finding it hilarious. Which made you feel insecure, earning him an elbow from Leo. Who hushes him harshly."Shhhh..."

Before he could respond, Mikey grabs you and in a flash you find yourself sitting down with him and bowl of popcorn in your hands. Confused at this, you get ready to say something, to stop once the show begins. Not a fan of popcorn you eat it anyway. Sharing with Mikey.

As you watched, you just never understood why they enjoyed a show that involved an enemy."I shall never understand the enjoyment all of you have, with a show that does star the one who opposes us."You voice for Mikey hush you. But you kept going."It clearly makes no logical sense..."Tilting your head in confusion."To praise one who has done us wrong so many-"Mikey hushes you again.

Clearly you he wanted you stop, but you didn't opening your mouth. For him to quickly cover it, to your annoyance. What was more confusing besides the praise of this show, was how it ended for the others. You just didn't seem to care and was quite glad. You start to clean up, hearing the others suggesting to go and visit the Mutanimals and Karai. A good idea. It would be good to see Karai, again. Thinking of her a baby in your arms. Thinking of Ten Shen.

"I have wonderful news, you shall be adopted. As my daughter."

Remembering her words, words that hit you heard. Words that made you feel welcomed and loved. Words that you didn't think twice about staying and knew you would trade everything for that. To have...to have...the feel of a mother. But, that didn't happen a reality you had to come to accept. A lost you still where healing from. Though your grievance wasn't as deep as before, you still could feel her presence at times and with your mind back to its original self. Where able to recall the most important words she said to you and you promised to do. Even now. There was only one piece left on this Earth, that had a connection to Ten Shen.

Karai. Miwa.

You knew she didn't remember you as a infant, but, you did with your promise. If you had the power you did now, you could have put it upon Karai back then. But, instead you did something.

Finishing up with the dishes, in your own thought. That you didn't notice April's coming over with some trash until she tapped you. Nearly startled you."Whoa. Sorry."She apologizes with a chuckle."Almost ready?"

Looking at the popcorn bowl in your hands, you set it down nodding you hands while wiping your hands dry."Yes."Hearing the commotion of the others getting closer, you noticed Splinter with three of this sons. Leo was missing or lagging behind.

Something didn't feel right, right with Splinter. You weren't sure, it felt...strangely peaceful yet impending. No. Not that, was it secretive? Was that it, you weren't really sure. All you knew was that it left you feeling strangely hollow and sad. Like with Ten Shen. You didn't understand why. This empty feeling came or where it was coming from, nor who that dark, deary cloak figure was looming over Splinter. He didn't seem to notice it, with the smile he had on. About to call out to him and warn him, it suddenly disappears.

And it became cold for second."May."Leo comes from behind, you look to him confused and concerned. He felt the same, he sensed it too, placing a hand on your shoulder."C-Come on. Let's go."

Hearing Mikey calling for you two to stop lagging behind, kind of put a smile on your face. A forced one. Everyone aboard the Shellraiser heads to the Mutanimals' place, you sat next to April. Who was talking away with you, though you seem to be paying attention your main focus was upon Splinter. Tempted to go over and ask him yourself. To say something, but there was something holding your tongue preventing you from doing.

"Hime."He calls to you with a warm and strangely tired smile."Come."He gestures you over. Going over and standing next to him, he just smiles. So you smile back, a little. It was oddly quiet between you two. He was so calm, calmer than usual. It made you slightly edgy. Realizing now was your chance to say something, to bring it up, you open your mouth."I am very proud of you, Hime."He said suddenly. Taking hold of your hand."You have truly grown. And I know you will keep growing. Even when I am gone."

His words even sounded twisted and cryptic."Thank...Master Splinter."

Noticing a quick heavy look in his eyes, to be replaced with a jovial one."...Though it is very vague, I recall something from my younger days. A girl. A girl my Ten Shen found. Name Jun. She was a strange and out of place girl. Seemingly lost, but so kind and good. Ten Shen had come to me and wished to adopted her into the Hamato clan, as her other daughter."You felt him squeeze your hand, you try your best to hold in your surprised gasp. Pretending to be clueless."As our new daughter. Which I was more than happy to do. Before my wife perished and should she have not. That girl, Jun would have been adopted into a our clan. She would have had a mother, a father and a younger sister."A loving, warm smile comes to him.

"T-That is very kind of you."You complement him."I am quite sure, this girl Jun would have been very happy to hav-"

"Hime."His tone became serious and pleading. If you could call it that."...Family is very important. I pass this onto you. I know you are aware of it being important."You didn't notice his eyes looking at someone quickly."...Cherish those before you. Always. Put your energy and focus on them. The present and the future. Learn to release yourself from the past. Remember, you define yourself. Not your history. Keep growing. Despite the odds. Despite the pain."

Assuming he was talking about you forgiving Raphael."Master Splinter, I have forgiven Raphael. Already."You slightly scoff with a small smirk. Looking quickly to Raphael, then back to Splinter. Who's face told you that was not what he meant."Master Splinter."

A reminiscing smile appears on him."I remember when you first, opened your eyes. Your very first smile. Purity and innocence all in one. Love and life. Never loose that, Hime. Never loose that love and life. Provide it to others. Give it freely, one never knows when it will be needed. Offer comfort regardless. Those who are wounded will needed it."His eyes again quickly look again."You are strong, Hime. Become their strength. You are a gifted healer, be there to heal. I have come to realize, I never did finish that story I had begun to tell you. About the princess who had to choose."He looks up at you."Would you like to know the ending?"You nod your head yes."The ending, the princess felt a sense of absence in her life. Without her the warrior, she searched for months and months and could not find him. Sadden by this, she fell ill from her sadness and slowly began to fade away. Her health did reach the warrior who, wasted no time and raced back to her. Coming to realize that he was the cause of her illness. Praying the heavens to allow her to live and for him to reunite with her. He did reach her at last, he was happy and deeply apologized for what he had done. Begging for her forgiveness. Promising that he would never leave her side, taking her hand in his. The princess was touched by his words, overcome with joy seeing him Before she faded away."

"She perished. How sad."You mourn."This warrior, how was he? Did the princess choose him? The warrior?"

"The warrior, was devastated. He didn't realize how much he pained the princess. The princess did choose him, he found out what she did, trying to find him. He never got an answer because he, himself had become hurt. Seeing what his eyes saw, that twisted his heart. While the princess's heart always remained for him. He could not see it. Until it was too late. He realized his mistake. I know you have forgiven my son. Which I am very proud of." He gives you a proud smile."And in time..."

Sensing indirect compression."Master Splinter...this story...is it...are you comparing it to the events that have happen between myself and Raphael?"You didn't respond."Master Splinter? Is it? Because if so, it is not logically possible. I have released him. As he has with me and that is all. A new chapter has begun."

"That is true."He agrees with a small cheeky smile. While stroking his thin bread."But, the ending has not finished. And after one chapter is over, another one begins. The sun and moon might be seen at different times, but they always come back."His words still cryptic, leaving you confused and wanting an answer. Which it was clear he was not going to give.

Opening your mouth to say something when he abruptly stands up horrified and shocked. Sensing distress and pain, your head whips around and before your eyes find the Mutanimals' hideout burning with bright, dangerous flames. It begin to cave in, just like with Ten Shen.

"Miwa..."you gasp and waste no time like the others and quickly hurry to evacuate those inside.

You fly straight inside calling out for Karai first. Panicking, looking for her, fearing the worst. A tight feeling came to your chest. A large piece of rubble nearly fell on you, but you caught it with ease, though another one fell adding more. You carefully toss it off, before dodging another. This dark, thick smoke wasn't helping. A hand out, emitting a warm glow. Calm yourself, clench your fist, then wave your hand just a bit. Some the flames went out, that wasn't what you wanted. Adding more energy, this time a magical seal, that slowly begin to suck in the dark smoke. Keeping yourself concentrated and ignoring the heat. Sense another in need of assistance. Locating their energy you waste no time and help them.

Finding Shinigami.

"I've got you."You go and help her. Lifting up the rubble. The dark girl was rather surprised and grateful to see you. She takes your hand, which you sling around your shoulder and the two of you hurry out.

"Thank you, Kami."She heaves, saying your nickname kindly gave to you awhile back. Holding onto her, making sure to be careful as the place just fell in. You coated the two of you in sort of a protective shield.

And dive straight out, just before being crushed. Rolling onto the ground, you both got out alive. The joy was short lived when both of you sprung up and race to the others surrounding Karai who took heavy damage. If not for Leo who gave her CPR, she surely would have been lost. Seeing her breathing was a huge relief, your promise would be kept. Miwa was safe.

Doing your best to hold in your joy and keep your own anger in-check, listen to what Shiniagami told everyone."Shredder doesn't care about using Karai as bait anymore. He wants us all dead."

It was horrifying, though not fully surprised news. But that didn't mean this wasn't dire. From the destruction of the Mutanimals' base, showed Shini's words rang truth. The destruction in what Shredder caused and the disregard for life itself. Placing Death's mark on each and everyone. He truly was monster.

Hearing the ambulance approaching. Splinter assigns Shini to watch over Karai and go with her to the hospital. He instructs you to stay too. To heal Karai until helped came."I see two trails going in the opposite direction."Splinter senses."Raphael, Casey, April and Slash will come with me."He directs."Leonardo. You will lead Donatello, Michangelo and Leatherhead in that direction. Take the Shellraiser. The rest of us will travel on foot."

Everyone was for and followed Splinter's orders. Though Leo was against it. Hesitant to leave."Sensei, I don't think that's a good idea. We should all stick together. If we're going to take Shredder down."

You backed up Leo on this, agreeing with him."He's right, Sensei. It's most logical to stay together. This...this doesn't seem right."

"Leonardo. May."Splinter looks at the two of you. First to Leo."Remember what I said earlier. In the dojo."He points to Leo's heart."From your heart."Then turns to you."And you, May."He places gets ready to place a hand on the side of your cheek to place it on your shoulder. You look at him your eyes swollen.

"Master...please..."you beg. For it to be meaningless. Shutting your eyes frustrated, opening them finding him gone.

"May! May!"

You hear Shini calling for your assistance. Looking at the spot Splinter last stood turn around and go back to Karai. Telling Shini to give her to you, which she does. Laying her down. Checking over Karai, her injuries where bad. Hearing her heavy breathing. Get to work. Putting your hands upon her, begin to heal. You close your eyes and focus. Blocking out her reaction, it was the same with Mikey. When you had to heal him, when he was beaten up. Raising a hand and putting it on her forehead. Shini was amazed at what she saw. If not amazed slightly frighten at what you where doing. Looking at her friend who was clearly in pain from what you where doing. She wanted to stop knew it was not a good thing to do.

She watched you heal not just Karai. But, behind her the hideout, the fires suddenly began to fade. Her eyes widen when she sees a golden dome cover it. She turns back to you, you had a hand on Karai and one held out towards the fire. Splitting yourself. She saw no sign of strain on you. You where just...calm. It was both awing and eerie. What you where doing.

Hearing others talk about you, all that they said was true. Looking down at Karai, who had stopped and now was calm. Opening your eyes, sensing the ambulance and police had approaching. Getting up. Cancel the dome. The fire was gone. All that remained was rubble. And Karai. Karai was fine.

Suddenly your T-phone rang."Yes?"You answer sharply.

"May! May!"It was Donnie on the other end frantically screaming."It's April! Master Splinter! The others!"It was hard to some what understand him, but you did. Quickly hanging up, you tell Shini to be careful and like Splinter stay with Karai.

Like a heat seeking missile shoot off. Leaving your T-phone behind. Zipping through the city, at high speed. Faster than you've ever gone before. Feeling your heart racing. Your blood felt like it was on fire. Eyes glowing, no, burning. Those down below thought you where some sort of either military jet or shooting star. At the speed you where going. That you literally let out a boom, causing some windows to crack and shatter. Leaving a gust behind you. Eyes locked on ahead.

Wolf Hotel.

You could sense him. You could sense them all. But most importantly you could sense the unavoidable. You saw that dark cloak figure again, it's bony fingers with like a marionette with strings attached. This impending feeling, only fueled you more. Flying upward towards the top, forsaking logic. Feeling a primal instinct and rage come over. Gather your energy. That mixed with another, through your teeth chant words you never knew. In a tongue that wasn't your own. Come blasting, take quick and unleash a strong concentrated destructive beam of energy. Bringing your other hand adding more to it, increasing its power.

The first beam hit the mutated Shredder. Who was taken by surprise by your attack and presence. Fueled with not but anger and rage, begins to push back. Even when you added more. He would not be beat. Realizing this, you give one last blast and take things physical. With speed like the wind, come down and land a devastating punch right in his core. It was enough force to send him back and cause a shockwave. That shook the building. Causing Shredder to slightly spit up. He was shocked for a second you managed to actually land a blow and cause him to vomit. Now focused his rage on you and charges at you like a raging bull. With your stance strong and solid.

You weren't going to be like before. Be afraid and be beaten. That wasn't you. He would have no control over, he would not break you, again. He was not going to destroy the others. Your family, again. No fear in your eyes, only raw will and focus. With rage like a blazing fire. No. Enraged storm. Charge at him, each punch, each hit you lay upon him would be for everyone. Everything.

Ten Shen. Karai. Master Splinter. The turtles. Casey. April. Everyone. Your tighten and drawn back, throw it forward the same time as the Shredder. Both of them collide causing another shockwave. April and Raph who where injured where in shock at what they saw. Seeing your raw strength. There was no extra energy being used. You weren't using your energy to increase it. All of this was on your own. There was no fluctuating in your hold against Shredder.

Your stance was solid like steel and stance. It was scary. So much power in someone of your size. Raph saw all your raw and hidden emotions in that one punch that kept Shredder at bay. Even when Shredder came down with his other one. Your hand shot up before he or April could say anything and stop it. Holding it back. This only angered Shredder more.

"I WILL NOT BE BESTED BY A CHILD!"he roars.

"..."You didn't care. Your eyes begin to glow, you nearly looked possessed and frighting. With the hand holding his fist, you quickly grab his wrist and yank him forward. Kneeing him right in the core again.

"No!"He hollers and blocks it with his knee. His spikes didn't faze you, ignoring the pain. Coming in with a swift left hook. He saw it and blocks it. That didn't stop you, like a cobra coming with strike after strike. Hitting or trying to hit his pressure points. He seem to see this and blocks them.

He comes back at you with killing blows. But, you block them, then go and strike. Ducking from one of his punches, use this and run right to him jumping up with a under the chin kick. Kicking him square under his chin. Sending him back, his throat left exposed a perfect opening. A merciless look in your eyes, thrust your hand like a straight arrow at his throat. When his hand shoots up and grabs your exposed wrist. Seconds late, realizing he was playing you. He with all his might slams you hard onto your back. Leaving a crater.

"MAY!"April and Raph scream in horror.

Like a rag doll, Shredder slams you down on the other side. Then steps on your chest hard, crushing you further in the crater and snaps your whole arm. It was loud enough for everyone to hear. And your tormenting screams. It just snapped! Like a twig and it hurt, pain shoot straight through you. Shredder standing over you, victoriously, looking at you with disgust and cruelty. Unsheathes two blades and murderously plunges them in you.

"NO!"

Splinter charges in and kicks Shredder back, away from you and engages the mutant monster. Everything in your body felt broken, everything hurt. Everything...everything burned. Hearing and sensing the fight between Splinter and Shredder. You had to get up, you just had too. Slowly reach up, turn your body over. Doing your best to ignore the pain, the only way to do that, coating in yourself with your energy begin to heal yourself. Pulling yourself out of the crater, mumbling to yourself, the damage done to you began to fade. Out of the crater, lifting yourself up staggering just a bit, you manage to stand. Looking around seeing Splinter getting the upper hand against Shredder.

That impending feeling began to fade, seeing him beating Shredder. With a swift and clever move, Splinter ducks and dodges Shredder's attack. Going under, trips up Shredder and throws the monster mutant off the roof.

It was over. It was finally over. Shredder was gone. April holding up a badly injured Raph. You come over holding your arm and pop it back into place. Happy and relieved it was over, everyone was just about to give a sigh of relief. When Leo down below just arriving screams in horror. Sensing it, you scream to warn Splinter, rushing to prevent it. Your hand out reached to him. Splinter turns around to look, Shredder ambushes and runs him through.

To your, Raph's and April's horror. Shredder's mercilessly throws Splinter's corpse off the roof."And now...Hamato Yoshi...DIES!"

"MASTER!"You dive right after him, your hands out stretched to him."MASTER!"You cry.

No. Not this again. Not this again...Ten Shen. You couldn't save her. You had to watch her die before your eyes, by Shredder's hands. Her lifeless eyes you remember staring right at you. And now, Splinter. Murdered before your eyes. Both of them murdered before you. And couldn't do anything to prevent it. Racing to reach his motionless body, you just had to reach him. You just had too.

You could...preform it on him...yeah. Yes. You could. Just a little further. The tips of your finger touch his tail, reaching further ignoring your own pain grab onto his rob just as you crash hard into the ground. Separating you from Splinter. Things where dizzy for a second, hearing Leo, Donnie and Mikey mourning and grieving brought you back. Pushing yourself up, go over to Splinter's lifeless body. Drop to your knees, put your hands over his chest and blaze your energy all around send it through him. With all your might. Shutting your eyes tight.

Begging and pleading."Heal. Heal! HEAL!"You cry."Come on! Please HEAL!"Your hands trembled with the truth. But you refused to give in, you just had to calm down and focus and you could do it. You could. But, your mind wouldn't focus. It was frazzled."Naosu! Naosu!"Feeling a gentle hand on your shoulder, you angrily shrug it off. And kept going."I can do it. I can do this! He said I'm a healer. I CAN HEAL HIM! NO MORE DEATHS! No more...Master..."you begin to calm down. Slowly opening your eyes, finding your hands covered in his blood.

Your healing wasn't working. Nothing was. His body laid there motionless. Shutting your eyes, you look away, hold yourself and cry. Your head hung with shame of your failure. Unable to do anything. Unable to accept the reality of it all, but had no choice.

Shutting your eyes tight, again and again. Trying to produce the tears you so desperately wanted. Needed. Angry you couldn't express the sorrows and pain in your eyes.

"I'm...I'm..."You look at the turtles and quickly look away too ashamed. Staring at your trembling hands, stained with his blood. Let out a grieving scream and throw yourself on Splinter's body, for someone to hold you. Restrain you and bury your head in their chest to prevent you from looking. You cling onto them for comfort and security. Apologizing over and over again for your failure.

Your body just couldn't move on its own, they knew and stand up with you."...I've got her."Feeling yourself being transferred into someone else's arms."...I'm here."April cries with you. While trying to calm you. Casey comes and offers comfort, he hugs you from the other side.

You cry on them both. Mourn with them, while out the corner of your eyes see the turtles lift up Splinter's body and carry him to the Shellraiser. Holding onto April, who held you close, along with Casey follow them to lay Splinter to rest.
