Hours and days passed by as Kurt Elizabeth Hummel's pregnancy continued to progress. From the outside Kurt seemed just okay. His adorable smile hadn't once faltered, he was chatty as usual, and not to mention remained a workaholic as well but deep down, he was always in a constant exhaustion. Blaine had asked Kurt to just rest at home, worried it could danger his health but Kurt didn't want to listen. His reason being he liked being a secretary and he loved his job and he really didn't want to be replaced. Even though he knew the replacement would be temporary and the job would always be his whenever he decided to return, there was no way in hell he would give that up for sitting at home doing nothing. In the end Blaine had hired an assistant for Kurt, causing the vampire to be criticized by Kurt instead. Kurt had said with a tint of venom in his voice that he had been waiting forever for an assistant long since they were working at AnderBros Entertainment and only now his wish was finally granted.

Other than that Kurt had also begun to complain nonstop about his outfits — that he needed an entire wardrobe change because none of his clothes were fitting anymore and he was only twenty weeks pregnant. It was a sad moment when he said goodbye to all his skinny jeans before he put them all in boxes along with all his other poor unfitting attires and hid them somewhere in Blaine's walk-in closet. The wardrobe was huge…almost looked like a clothing store itself so the extra space was always there to be used. But Kurt would glare at Blaine's small clothing whenever he was inside the closet nonetheless — hating them because Blaine's body wasn't changing and he could wear them wherever he wanted.

And for a constant moody, brooding vampire like Blaine, his wardrobe was actually colorful.

Which made Kurt more irritated because to him it seemed like Blaine's clothes were mocking him.

"You look ridiculous wearing that hideous green-mud colored t-shirt and those pink shorts." Kurt was attempting to piss off the composed dark haired man seated beside him on the bed.

Rolling to his side, Blaine beamed. "You're jealous."

Kurt rolled his eyes. "Jealous? Please. Why would I be jealous of you?"

Blaine was no longer interested in watching the show on TV so he switched it off. He kept on beaming widely and brightly. "This is a very tight pair of shorts which leaves practically nothing to the imagination and you're actually dying to put it on yourself but you can't because you're so—"

"Blaine Devon Anderson!" Kurt's glare was deadly. "Are you trying to say that I'm fat?!"

"I was going to say pregnant. See, if you had let me finish—"

"Whatever." Kurt cut in Blaine's sentence again. He was clearly exasperated. "That ridiculous outfit is still ridiculously preposterous to me. Fashion experts would be bawling out blood if they saw it."

"What? It's cute!" Blaine huffed. "Besides, we're inside the house, aren't we?"

Kurt's weary face brightened slightly. "Ah, you mean you won't be caught dead wearing those in public, right?"

Blaine fidgeted. "Arguable."

"You look adorable in it nonetheless." Kurt said sweetly, laying his head on Blaine's chest. It was nice getting to be close to Blaine like this again. He was glad the baby was slowly accepting Blaine because without the presence of the hazel eyed man, Kurt was positive he would be losing his mind sooner or later. Not being able to have anyone close for the past few months especially Blaine truly sucked.

"Ow!" Kurt winced when his stomach suddenly cramped.

"What is it?" Blaine gripped Kurt's hand instantly for support. He was helpless. This had been happening frequently nowadays and all he wanted was to spare Kurt from all the pain.

After a while, the pain subsided and Kurt curled on the bed, breathing hard. "I'm…o-okay. I think he's just hungry."

"You keep saying that." Blaine mumbled with a sigh of worry. "Are you truly sure it's really a he?" He queried next, burying his concern deep inside and choosing to play it safe instead.

"I have a feeling we're having a boy." Kurt admitted shyly, blushing a bit. "You on the other hand should stop referring our child as it! Our child is not a thing, he's a person." He lightly smacked Blaine's arm.

"Is this some kind of expecting parents six sense or something?" Blaine asked, playing with Kurt's soft hair.

Kurt slumped further into Blaine's embrace, composed. "I think so. But I could be wrong. We could be having a girl."

Neither of them spoke after that. Kurt was too peacefully indulged in Blaine's warmth. It was one of the things that could differentiate a born vampire and a turned one, Kurt noticed. A born vampire like Blaine could be easily mistaken as human because of it. Other vampires weren't as cold as ice like it had been typically portrayed before but their skin was definitely colder than Homo sapiens.

"Blaine? Is something wrong?" Kurt's voice was timid. He was somewhat worried when Blaine suddenly went all quiet. "Did I scare you with the possibility of having a daughter?"

To be honest, Blaine didn't care if they were having a girl or a boy as long as Kurt was safe. He wanted Kurt safe and sound. That was what he truly wanted…for Kurt to get out of this alive. "Nothing could scare me away, not even a vagina…you know that."

Kurt chuckled at Blaine's slight inappropriateness. But it was true. Being gay didn't mean they couldn't raise a daughter. "Honey, could you grab me something to eat? Before this kid make my insides his chew toy? He's restless. I bet he really is hungry."

Isn't it already doing that already? Consuming everything and leaving you with nothing?

There was a moment of silence. Blaine didn't find Kurt's attempted joke about being a chew toy was funny in the least, letting it fall on deaf ears. "Sure, I'll be right back."

Blaine swiftly made his way to the kitchen. He had a few bags of fresh blood in the fridge and it undoubtedly would ease the baby. Kurt's blood feeding schedule wasn't permanently set. He would ask for it when it was necessarily needed only and same went for Blaine. He would take his share of the blood only when Kurt drank his. They usually would drink it during breakfast or after dinner. Kurt wasn't keened at first because although blood tasted like heaven to vampires, the taste and the smell was really horrible to humans but Kurt gradually learned to love the flavor. Sometimes Blaine added the essence of tangerine or lime or vanilla to make it tastier for Kurt to swallow.

Blaine already felt like a frigging chef. Cooking wasn't really his thing, he just loved to eat. Although Gordon Ramsay would surely be proud of his achievement with the way he had been experimenting with all kinds of flavors for blood lately.

So screw Hell's Kitchen or MasterChef or whatever else. Blaine Devon Anderson was all for the win.

"Hey, Blaine." Sebastian casually acknowledged Blaine as he closed the front door and dashed towards Blaine in the kitchen. The kitchen was just to the left of the living room, quite secluded but could totally be seen the moment you entered the house. The apartment was very spacious with a few pillars and minimal walls to separate each part of the house.

"Hey." Blaine replied minimally, not taking his eyes off his task — squeezing the blood out of the blood bag into two mugs. One for him and one for Kurt. "Seriously, Seb. You need to learn to use the doorbell or at least knock. Kurt's gonna get pissed you coming in here to our home like this."

Other than Kurt, Sebastian was another person Blaine couldn't stay mad for long. He too cherished their friendship to stay angry after all. Moreover, if he could forgive Kurt he surely could forgive Sebastian too. It took longer for him to completely forgive Sebastian but in the end they managed to get back on track.

"It's a waste of time." Sebastian clicked his tongue. "Whatcha doin'?"

"Climbing a tree." Blaine answered sarcastically, glaring. It was a really dumb question. Sebastian knew about his arrangement with Kurt. The older vampire could also see perfectly well what he was currently doing and he really wasn't in the mood for jokes.

Sebastian chuckled, plainly unaffected by Blaine's sarcasm. "Let me give you a hand."

"Nah, it's okay. I got— ooh!" Blaine jumped as a sensitive part of his body was touched. His eyes were wide when his sight trailed down and saw the taller vampire's hand was cupping his crotch. "S-Seb?"

"I know you miss me, Blaine." Sebastian murmured huskily, squeezing Blaine's crotch once more. A little bit harder this time around to add pressure and to make a point. He pressed his body close to Blaine's back so Blaine could feel his presence. "I know how much you want to be inside me again. And honestly, I miss feeling you fucking me too."

Blaine breathed hard, feebly pushing Sebastian away. "Don't do this. We can't. I…I can't."

Sebastian clearly wasn't accepting no as an answer. He persistently inhaled Blaine's scent, pecking on his neck. "Come on, Blainey. For old time's sake."

"I'm with Kurt now." Blaine pressed.

"Doesn't bother me if it doesn't bother you." Sebastian whispered. His tongue was licking the shell of Blaine's ear, never ceased getting Blaine interested even if he had to try hard.

Blaine shook his head, making an effort to get away. He was indeed a powerful vampire who wasn't easily succumbed to persuasion but he was a male vampire nonetheless. He had needs like human males did and right now he was tempted by Sebastian's offer since Kurt could no longer do his duty in that department.

But he also would never betray Kurt that way.

"No. I really care about him."

Sebastian leaned in closer. "He doesn't need to know."

Blaine turned his body around to face Sebastian. With Sebastian standing so close to him he couldn't think straight. He could feel Sebastian's hard on pressing against his hip. "I don't wanna hurt him in any way, Sebastian. He means a lot to me."

Leaning forward, Sebastian captured Blaine's plump lips briefly. "Tell me, how long has it been since you last had sex, huh? How long have you been going on without it? You're gonna get blue balls syndrome soon, Blaine. You need sex, just like you need blood. You couldn't even bear a day without sex before and now you have to wait for nine months before you can get laid again? Don't be a frigging monk. We'd be quick. Right here, right now…and then you can go back to lover boy."

Blaine leaned into Sebastian's personal space and sighed, making Sebastian grin thinking he had thrived coaxing Blaine but he was proven wrong when Blaine stepped away from him. The shorter man squeezed the much older vampire's arm. "My fiancé is in the bedroom, waiting for me. Kurt is my everything, Seb. He's the love of my life and he's risking his life carrying my child. If he can stay faithful to me…so can I."

"We weren't exclusive but we were great together, you know that." Sebastian's voice was on the verge of exasperation. He was desperate to have Blaine once more and he sure as hell wouldn't easily let go without a fight. "But now you're throwing it all away for a human? We could have it all, Blaine! What does he have that I don't, huh? He's nothing compared to me!"

Blaine's lips curled in a smile. "It's just that Kurt is kind of perfect and he's everything you're not."

Unnoticed to either of the vampires, Kurt was actually listening to them. He hid behind one of the pillars with tear filled eyes, watching Blaine and Sebastian's exchange and then slowly retreated back to the bedroom.

Tornados of emotions were swirling inside him.

And happiness was one of them.
