I took the chapter off because it seemed like I did not convey everything clearly from what I've gotten through the reviews. Thank you so much for pointing them out. Now, I added a little changse to those parts that I think needed more explanation. Please let me know if it's clearer now. Thanks a bunch :D
I have a question for you guys and please answer me honestly. Will you read an original novel from me? The catch is, the main character is "Gay". I have been thinking of writing an original story, but I'm not sure yet. If there's no readers, I might not write it at all. I'm too easily sway by my surroundings, circumstance, and easily lost motivations.
Why homosexual novel? I think it's the affect of reading Shounen ai and Yoai. :D Well, again, it's just a though. I might or might not write anything at all.
As always, thank you so much for all the reviews. You know who you are and I am really appreciated them all. Hope you will enjoy this chapter. After this, I will really have to go pick on my brain how I want to continue this story because it is a blank after this chapter. :)

Not too long after the culprit was caught, the palace had calm down. All the duplicates demons turned into wooden puppets, which angered many of the guests because of the damages the one demon had cause. They wanted to tear the fresh and blood of the one responsible for everything, but he was not there.
In the chaos, the guests had helped fought the puppets and had help put the palace back into orders. Sea demons or demons that had power control over water were putting out the fire while the other were fighting and capturing the puppets. The culprits were no match to the guests and the palace guards together. They were put to an end in no time.
Sesshomaru had been interrogating the captured demon but had gotten nothing out of him. The poisonous demon went on and on about how righteous he was punishing Sesshomaru. He was delusional! No matter how many times Sesshomaru asked, he got the same useless answer. Sesshomaru was not one to be patient by nature and soon left the demon in the crystal ball prison. The crystal was the size of a fist. Sesshomaru was personally guarding it. He would not take chances of the demon escaping. And staying in the same room with the culprit would only end up with Sesshomaru cutting the demon's head.
Once morning came, in the hall where all the demons had gathered, the gossip maid was called before the room, feeling nervous. Sesshomaru's cold eyes laid on her and she could fell her hair stood on end.
"You want to see me, Lord Sesshomaru?" She asked despite knowing why she was there. The whole room's attention was on her.
Instead of answering her, Sesshomaru kept his sharp gaze on her, making the demoness felt even more nervous. Even so, she kept a calm composure.
"You were the one spreading the rumors about Rin's condition." Sesshomaru stated in a deadly tone. She knew it would be the end of her if she were convicted and she would do anything to not be put there.
"It's not true, Lord Sesshomaru. I am your loyal servant. I will never do anything that will harm Lady Rin." She denied desperately. "Why would anyone think it was me? It is someone else!"
"It is you!" Unable to stand by watching the demoness annoying act, Katsumi spoke up. "I've told no one but you about Lady Rin's condition."
"H-how can you be so sure, Lady Katsumi. It could be the humans! They knew about her condition too." The demoness tried to push the blame toward the human.
"Expect they were all lies... what I've told you." Said Katsumi coldly, eyeing the demoness with disgusted.
"Y-you tricked me!" the maid exclaimed in disbelieved. Her face quickly turned to anger.
"I told you it meant for your ears alone. Never to tell anyone else." Katsumi stared her down. The maid was at a lost.
"For a servant to disobey the lord's direct order to not trespassing is already heavy enough of a crime, and yet, you go and spread rumor knowingly it would put your master in danger. Not only that, you now try to pin the blame on Lady Rin's loyal companions." Katsumi turned her gaze to Sesshomaru for him to give out the punishment. He was the lord. The maid was alarmed with panic.
"Why are you doing this to me, Lady Katsumi? I was only following your orders." The maid burst into tears. Crocodile tears. Some of the crowds were surprised at her action. The maid knew there was no way out for her. She was fully aware of Sesshomaru's merciless nature. However, she would not fall alone. If she had to die, she would drag Katsumi with her. That bitch would not get away scar free.
"I plagued my loyalty to you. It's unfortunate what's happening to Lady Rin, but once she died, you will be the new Lady of the Western Land, and I will be your head maid, you've promised. I believed you, and followed your orders, but now you are making me the scapegoat? You are too cruel!" The demoness wailed in an exaggerating tone.
Katsumi wanted to roll her eyes.
Ridiculous!
Anyone with half a brain would never believe such an obvious lie. Or so she thought. However, Katsumi was soon proved wrong when she met with some of the eyes from the crowds.
Seriously?
Katsumi turned toward Sesshomaru and he too was waiting for her to explain herself.
Unbelievable! After all that I have done, Katsumi thought bitterly.
Well, she did give him a cause to be doubt, but still, she would never harm Rin, or use such low method.
After Sesshomaru's long fruitless interrogation with the poisoner, Katsumi had asked to have some time alone with the demon. Inside the crystal, the demon was sitting behind a prison bar. The demon seemed to be acting alone from what she could get out of him. He was totally nuts.
"I did it all for you. Why can't you understand, my beloved Katsumi?" the demon repeated the line as if a broken record trying to convince her it was all for her sake. Her hair stood on end in disgust at how he addressed her as his.
"You did nothing for me. I never want any of it." Katsumi stated icily. She hated his ego.
"I did it for you. Everything I did is with your best interest at heart. They deserved to be punished, you have to agree. They have disgraced you, humiliated you. How dare Sesshomaru choose a lowly human over the beautiful you?" The demon motioned his hands toward Katsumi to make his point. "They cannot be forgiven. They have tarnished your name! Can't you see? They deserved to be punished!" The demon spat out darkly.
"You are saying that I am less of a person now because I wasn't chosen?"
"No, no, of course not. You are always perfect. But what Sesshomaru's done is unforgivable." The demon still refused to give up.
Irritated, but seeing no point int dragging it out, Katsumi decided to change the subject and did what she came here to do.
"if you truly were following my desire, then made me the antidote for Lady Rin."
The demon looked up at Katsumi as if she had just grown another head. "It's impossible. And even if it is, I will never let that woman live. Can't you see that she is your enemy? She seduced your man and stole him from you!" his eyes once again darken with malice.
This demon was a lost cost. There was no point in talking to him anymore. Even so, after calming herself down, Katsumi started.
"It is true that I've never wish for Lady Rin to get hurt. Since you claimed to know me so well, you should know that I will never betray or take what was my friend's..."
"However, I must be grateful to you..." Katsumi paused for affect. The demon's eyes lit up with excitement an anticipation. "Once Lady Rin is gone, Lord Sesshomaru will be mine." She paused once again, letting the now crestfallen demon that seemed as if he had just been struck by lighting absorbed the information. Knowing how much the demon wanted Rin dead, she would try to convince him to save Rin her own way.
"As I've said. I will never go after my friend's husband. However, once Lady Rin is no more, Lord Sesshomaru will be unattached. He will be in grieve and need of comfort. And I will be there to comfort him." She paused again, waiting for the demon's reaction.
"W-what are you saying?" the demon did not want to believe his ears.
"Lord Sesshomaru is the perfect match for me," Katsumi continued. "He is powerful, fear by all, intelligent, well respect, and a lord. There's no one else as good as him. Unless, of course... unless you save Lady Rin...," She paused, hinting to the demon that if he did not save Rin, Katsumi would go after Sesshomaru. Knowing how obsess the demon was with her, he would do anything to stop her from being with the dog demon lord.
"Rin is the only restriction from me making Lord Seshomaru mine. If she's no longer here, I will pursue him. I do, indeed, benefit from your actions." She smiled slyly at the poison master.
In truth, she no longer had the thought of going after Sesshomaru. It was true that she respected him enough and once had thought it would be alright to spent her life with him, but that was well in the past. At that time, Rin was just another woman who Seshomaru loved with all his heart. However, after the talk Katsumi and Rin had, they became friends. The notion of marrying Sesshomaru someday was not only never cross her mine again, but it became unacceptable. She even felt angry for Rin's sake when Sesshomaru's mother had mentioned it. However, she would not hesitate to use it if it meant it manipulate the demon to save Rin's life.
"No. No. No. He is no good for you." The demon shook his head. "He has betrayed you. He doesn't deserve you!" the demon protested.
"I will decide who's good for me."
"No! You don't know what's good for you!" the demon shouted.
At the statement, Katsumi saw red. To say that she was angry was an understatement. How dare he treated her as if she was brainless?! She hated men like him the most.
Katsumi's cloth flew into the cage, and wrapped around the demon's neck. She snatched at it, dragging him toward the prison bar.
"Listen to me and listen well. If you want to commit a crime or boost your own ego... fine! But never drag me into it! You've done nothing for me. You disgusted me."
"I should've killed Sesshomaru instead!" the demon muttered.
Katsumi swung the weapon and threw the demon off. The demon smashed on the the floor.
It was clear to Katsumi now that the the demon would not save Rin. He harbored too much hated toward the dog demon lord. He had his mine wrapped and twisted on the idea of revenge. No one could get through him now.
With that, Katsumi called to Sesshomaru to let her out of the crystal ball. She would make sure that the demon suffered a painful death. The only reason they had kept him alive was to make him cure Rin.
"He doesn't deserves you! No one deserves you!" The demon shouted after Katsumi as she was leaving. "...I should have killed Sesshomaru. I can become a lord. I will be the most powerful demon. For you, I will do anything for you." The demon kept on shouting after her. "You don't need anyone else!..."
At that time she pushed the demon in hope to save Rin as well as to prove that he was doing everything for himself and never for her sake. She had got her prof the fact that the demon disregard her every opinions, but still went on and on about how he was doing everything for her. This crazy demon was not the first nor the only one to force his ideal on her. She could not said enough of how much she hated those type of men. However, she never thought the bluff she had made would come back to bite her.
She thought Sesshomaru could differentiate between when she bluff and when she meant something. He should know that Katsumi was on his side. She would never harm Rin by using the maid. However, Sesshomaru's silence told her otherwise. It sadden her.
No, it pissed her off.
Sesshomaru's mind set was not at his best because of Rin's critical condition, Katsumi mused. He would suspect anyone. Still, she thought they were well past that. She was his friend, damn it!
"You liar!" a male demon from the crowd shouted at the maid. "Lady Katsumi would never do such thing."
"Don't be so sure," A demoness chipped in. "She is profitable most out of all this. Everyone knows that Lord Sesshomaru dropped her for the human. She must've been holding a grudge." The demoness' eyes, and the accusing of her tone told Katsumi she had already convinced Katsumi was guilty. No, it was more than that. She hated Katsumi. She would blindly side with whoever was Katsumi's enemy. And the demoness was not the only one feeling that way inside this room.
"Impossible! Lady Katsumi is innocent! She is incapable of such nasty action!" Another male demon came to her defense and many nodded their heads in agreement. Ah, there they were, too, those who would defense her blindly.
Katsumi fought the urge to pinch the bridge of her nose knowing the headache would last.
How the hack did things end up like this? Katsumi, being a suspect?
She should have just killed the maid. It was normal for demons to just slaughter those they don't like. However, that would not leave Katsumi with a good impression and she could not afford to be doubt at the moment. Sesshomaru would be a pain if she did not deal with him correctly.
The demons inside the room were already divide into two groups: the accusers, and the supporters.
Katsumi's accuser: her natural enemy who would do anything to bury her. No matter what the truth may be, Katsumi was always guilty.
Katsumi's defenders: the worshipers who would defense her no matter what she did. Even if she slice someone's throat, the worshipers would still find an excuses to make sense out of things and make things seem right.
Katsumi sighed inwardly. A conflict between the guests was the last thing she needed. She wanted to take care of the maid's matter as soon as possible so they could focus on what was important, finding Rin the cure. How did it become messy? She would have to solve this problem before it became any uglier.
However, before she could speak up, a loud familiar male voice drew everyone's attention toward the door.
"Be quite!" The male shouted to shut the noisy crowd up.
Everyone attention was focused on the two new comers that had just entered the room, a half-demon carrying a frail human woman on his back.
Surprises and awes were written on everyone's face at the sight them. Some even had their mouths opened a gap.
It was the person who had the power to seal the demonesses' fate forever.
"Rin," Sesshomaru murmured.

Phew...finally done. I hate editing. I don't know how many times I have said this. It took me more then ten hours for this chapter.
After not writing for so long, I could feel how rusty my writing skill has become. I'm sure there are a lot of grammars mistakes, but I'm too tired to go through it again so please let me off. :P Review Please.
