If home is where the heart is
then we're all just fucked
I can't remember
I can't remember
And I want it so bad
I'd shoot the sunshine into my veins
I can't remember
The good old days

3rd Person POV
"Another curse? It's happening again." Snow clarifies once they're all outside.
"Gold, this curse, is it gonna work like the last one?" Emma asks.
"The last one was created to service the Queen's wishes. This will be done per Pan's desire. I would count on something hellish," Gold says accepting the fact that he will now be living in his own little hell.
"She's not answering," Regina says hanging up the phone after trying to call Scarlet again. "As for the curse, it was built to be unstoppable. There's nothing that can be done."
"Well, it is possible to stop it," Gold says hatching a plan in his mind.
"What?" Regina asks having never heard this about her curse before.
"By using the scroll itself," Gold amends. "It can only be undone by the person who used the scroll. That's you Regina," he says.
"What do I have to do?" Regina asks.
"You must destroy the scroll," he answers simply. "Both your curse and his shall be ended but know this-there will be a price. A steep one."
"Wh-what do you suggest?" Regina asks tartly.
"Instead of going to him, bring him to us using a spell. One that will return Pan and Henry to their own bodies," Gold says and Henry puts two and two together.
"If I'm back in my own body, that means I'll have the scroll. I-I can bring it to you guys," he says.
"Exactly right Henry," Gold congratulates in an almost fatherly tone.
"Even you aren't powerful to cast such a spell," Regina points out being the pessimist.
"Well, given the proper tool, I could be," Gold says smoothly.
"The black fairy's wand," Tinkerbell pitches in. "One of the most powerful fairies that ever existed. Well-versed in dark magic, the blue fairy exiled her, but before she did, she took her wand."
"I assume our dearly departed mother superior had it hidden at her residence?" Gold asks.
"Then what are we waiting for? Let's hit the convent." David says.
"Can I come?" Tinkerbell asks. "I should pay my respects to Blue after all."
"Then it's settled. The rest of us should get back to my shop, and prepare Henry for the spell," Gold says and they all break off in separate directions, the shadow acting as a spy nearby.
"Gold," Regina says pulling him to the side. "Is she dead?" Regina asks in a hushed tone.
"I don't know," he answers honestly.
"Gold," Regina pleads.
"I have no way to see. You'll just have to wait and maybe Henry will be able to tell us," Gold says and Regina goes pale at the thought of Henry discovering his sister's body. "There is a chance, however small, that he wouldn't-couldn't kill her. But this is Peter Pan we're talking about. There's nothing we can do, it's probably too late already."
"The blue fairy, she's back," David announces when they get back to Gold's shop. "She gave us the wand," he adds.
"Do we need anything else?" Emma asks ready for this to be over with.
"Only one more item," Gold says pulling the cuff Greg and Tamara brought with them.
"What is that?" Snow asks being clueless.
"This is one of the only useful things I managed to pilfer from Greg and Tamara before they left for Neverland. It renders anyone with magic utterly powerless," Gold says crossing over to where Henry sits with his mothers.
"I haven't forgotten that by the way," Regina says giving Hook a glare.
"Let me see your wrist, Henry," Gold continues ignoring them. "I want to make sure that when dear old Peter Pan awakes, that he's weakened. This will block his powers."
"So what happens now?" Henry asks.
"I enact the spell, you fall into a deep sleep, and when you're awake, you're back in your own body," Gold says gently.
"And you hang on to that scroll, and you come find us as fast as you can," Regina coaches.
"When I gave my heart to Pan... I thought I was being a hero. I'm sorry," he says sincerely.
"No, you're not the one who needs to be sorry, Pan does," David says.
"It's time," Gold says trying to move this along. "Keep your eye on the wand," Gold says softly and then the spell was cast.
"It's showtime," Peter says to Felix before dropping to the ground like a bag of rocks a second later.
"Pan? Are you alright?" Felix asks putting the right amount of concern in his voice as the seizing stops and Henry's body goes still.
"Where's my sister?" Henry asks immediately.
"You're too late boy," Felix says with a scoff looking over at Kali's still, crumpled form as green fog starts spilling over the well. Henry gets up and takes a step towards her. "She's dead," Felix confirms his thoughts. "The curse has been formed, Peter Pan never fails." Henry does the smart thing. Holding the scroll, he turns and runs. Felix watches him leisurely then, he waits.
"It's me, it's me, it worked!" Henry says seeing his family and running towards them, he runs straight to Regina though. "Scar-Scar's," he says unable to finish. Regina's heart doesn't stop beating. It doesn't shatter into a million fragments. Instead it leaps. It jumps and soars to her throat stopping any and all words. She swallows and closes her eyes dabbing a tear away before it falls. She has to be strong for Henry.
"It's okay. But we have to focus on other things now," Regina says pushing thoughts of her daughter to the side.
"I have it," Henry nods handing it to Emma.
"It's up to you now," Emma says putting the scroll in Regina's hands. She falls to the ground getting a glimpse of her price. She lost one of her children today. Now she must lose the other.
"I thought you'd have killed me in your sleep," Peter says back in his own body getting up slowly. "Oh I see, you've taken away my magic," he says. "That's why it's so easy to strut around and pose now isn't it? Your daughter liked theatrics like this. She hid it though. I know exactly how she liked it," Peter says knowing exactly how to get on Gold's nerves and knowing how to imply certain things to make him even more pissed off.
"Oh you didn't kill her," Gold says surely.
"All magic comes with a price. It was about time I paid one," Peter says solemnly, his eyes betraying a new found madness.
"Not with my daughter's life," Gold says precisely.
"You know the deal, the more the magic, the bigger the price. If it makes you feel any better, I did love her."
"I will get my revenge and don't worry, you will be reunited, in death," Gold says drawing a sword.
"Then one last lesson," Peter says. "Never make a cage you can't get out of," he says pulling off the cuff. "I made this cuff, you know. Doesn't work on me. But on you? Down boy," he commands throwing Rumple across the room the cuff on his wrist. "Let's see how you do without magic."
"I've come too far for this, for them," Rumple recites like the words could win a war.
"For your daughter? She died hating you. Your son? No, it's too late. Soon that fine green smoke will fill their lungs, then fog their brains. And unlike the rest of this town I'm not just going to take their memories, no. Because of their special meaning to you, I'm going to take their lives. And you won't do a thing to stop me. Do you know why? Because without magic, you are right back to where you started-the village coward," Peter finishes before turning and walking out of the shop.
"Regina! Regina!" Emma calls shaking the evil queen's shoulders as she suddenly gains consciousness again.
"Emma?" Regina greets her.
"What happened? Are you okay?" Emma asks.
"Yes, I'm fine it was just..." she trails off thinking of her price.
"What is it? What happened when you touched it?" Mary Margaret asks.
"I saw what needed to be done," Regina replies sorrowfully.
"Mom, are you gonna be okay?" Henry asks.
"The important thing is, you will be," Regina says.
"No he won't," Peter calls out and the curse disappears from her hand.
"He has the-" Hook says but has to stop because Peter pulled a Kali and froze everyone in place. Without the ice though.
"Curse?" Peter finishes smugly. "That I do. Look at you all, a captive audience. I could play with you like a pack of dolls couldn't I? But I think I'll start with these two. You both look so adorable. Hard to tell which one to kill first," he says burning time until Rumple comes out. "No it isn't. You, you first," he says pointing to Neal.
"Stay away from them," Gold growls pulling Peter away.
"Well how about this? The worm has teeth. What you're here to pwotect your wuved ones?" Peter says in a baby voice.
"I'm not going to let you touch either one of them."
"Oh I'd like to see that."
"Oh you will, because I have a job to finish, and I have to do it, whatever it takes. No loopholes. And what needs to be done has a price. A price, I'm finally willing to pay. I used the curse to find you, Bae, to tell you I'd made a mistake, to make sure you had a chance at happiness. And that happiness is possible. Just not with me, I accept that," Rumple says while Peter looks away trying not to burst out laughing.
"Pretty pretty words," Peter says being the sarcastic imp he is.
"I love you Bae," Rumple carries on ignoring him. "And I love you Belle, you made me stronger."
"Stronger, yes. But still no magic."
"Oh but I don't need it. You see, you may have lost your shadow, but there's one thing you're forgetting."
"And what's that?" Peter says playing the part of the cocky teen stunningly.
"So have I, and I sent it with something to hide. Peter Pan, you've paid your price, now I pay mine," Rumple says holding his hand up. His shadow comes in with his dagger. Then he plunges it into Peter's back.
The two disappear in a corny flash of golden light and everyone Peter froze unfreezes jumping into action immediately. They've got a curse to stop after all.
"Everything went as planned?" Felix asks when Peter appears next to him.
"Of course. Is she still out?" Peter asks although it's kind of obvious seeing Kali's passed out form lying gently on the ground.
"Yes her heart beat's stronger. She'll be fine in a few minutes. What now?"
"Now, we wait," Peter answers unafraid of the green fog creeping up on them as he sets her head on his lap grabbing hold of the compass that guided Kali, Mary Margaret, and Emma back to Storybrooke all those weeks ago. This time it would bring them to Neverland. Peter looks up at Felix and Felix takes hold of the compass, Peter's silent command.
"Peter?" Kali says opening her eyes as soon as the green fog surrounds them turning quickly to purple.
Water, that's the first and easiest thing to notice. Then it's the hands around their ankles dragging them down. Next it's Kali cursing about mermaids and the chunks of ice floating in the water accompanying those curses. Peter smiles. They're finally home.
One year Later Kali/Scarlet's POV
"Swimming with the mermaids again?" I tease watching Peter dive into the water looking for me.
"I thought you were dead!" He thunders stomping up onto the beach where I walk lazily on my ice over to meet him.
"You're all wet," I point out sweetly, flicking the drenched collar of his tunic.
"I hate you," he says frowning.
"You love me," I correct. "Besides I'm still getting my revenge," I tack on giving him a kiss so he can't reply. He just loves to hear himself talk.
"That was a year ago love," he complains when I finally pull away having the simple need to breathe.
"Found you!" One of the new lost boys yell. I frown.
"Were we playing hide and go seek?" I ask Peter softly thinking back on it. "Oh yeah!" I exclaim remembering the game we started a week ago. I completely forgot. That's usually why neither Peter and I are elected seekers. We kind of find one another, throw a rock at each other, and then forget to find everyone else. It really annoys Felix. Most of the lost boys are just grossed out.
"How long's it been? A week?" Peter asks with a smirk.
"Two," the lost boy, Zack, chimes.
"New record," he says crashing his lips onto mine again in celebration.
"Eww PDA!" Zack shouts.
"What are you thinking about Lixy?" I ask sitting next to Felix who's staring into the flames thoughtfully.
"Gerda," he states plain and simple.
"I never thought I'd miss her, but I do. A little bit. She's safe though, I can tell you that. They're all safe according to the shadow's last visit," I answer thoughtfully.
"I thought Pan said he wasn't going to send his shadow anywhere near the Enchanted Forest for a few centuries," Felix says and I give him a look.
"It's my shadow, Peter's is gone with the wind. Emma and Henry are in New York. Everyone else is back in the Enchanted Forest. Gerda's with I'd assume her Grandmother. She talks to my sister a lot. They're happy I guess. What about you? Are you regretting coming back?"
"I'm a lost boy sleeping beauty. This only makes me belong even more. And you?"
I smirk and meet Peter's eyes as he walks into camp. "I miss indoor plumbing," I state before getting up and going to meet him.
And thus ends diary entry.
By the way, I lie
Thank you all for your support, for all your reviews, all the (1) times you've read this and I can't begin to express the gratitude I feel. In regards to the comment above, I have some ideas, however, if I'm going to put those into effect I will write a few chapters to get a feel for it again and decide if this is something I want to continue writing, but for now, I'd consider this the end.
Thanks again and I hope all of your ships sail, and dead favorite characters come back to life or just don't die in the first place :)
