The closer it got to the holidays, the more nervous Yelena grew. She was going out of her mind trying to figure out what to get Randy and after searching for weeks, she found the perfect gift hiding it in the bottom of her suitcase until she found time to wrap it. With that safely out of the way, she found small presents for her friends: A pair of customized Joker Convers for AJ, a limited edition comic for Punk, Hermes cufflinks for Mike, a cute little fur hat with ears on it for Alicia, the latest collection of M.A.C lipstick for Aksana, and a pair of Ray Bans for Rosa

She was glad to see the looks of excitement on their faces as they all opened their gifts and thanked her. She received a few gifts herself: A few yummy smelling Yankee candles from Aksana, and a very scandalous red teddy from Rosa

"A Christmas Eve present for you and Randy to enjoy." the Latina said with a wink

She was confused when she opened Mike's gift, a yellow cover for some sort of device. When she opened second present, she couldn't help but grin at the Kindle Fire box before her.

"Awww, you shouldn't have!" she said, hugging him

"It's nothing. Merry Christmas shrimp."

Phil had gotten her a pair of Beats headphones

"Its time for you to come up in the world."

She went over and sat on his lap, giving him a squeeze

"Watch the leg you brute." he joked

He had injured his knee not too long ago and was hobbling around on crutches. She felt bad and gave him a peck on the cheek

"Thank you."

"No problem kid. Merry Christmas."

They all watched the show kick off with Alberto del Rio running over "Santa Claus"

She went into catering, spotting the person she was looking for. She wasn't surprised to see the lovely Nikki Bella keeping him company. They'd been spending a great deal of time together lately. She slid into the chair next him, saying hello to the brunette.

She said hello before getting up "I'll see you later?" she asked, lightly squeezing his shoulder with a flirtatious smile

"Yes you will." John told her, flashing a dimpled smile

His eyes followed the twin until she was out of sight
She'd been racking her brain for days trying to figure out who to go to for the information she needed to know before going to St. Louis and who better to go to than Randy's best friend?

She put on her sweetest smile "Hiya John."

"How can I help you kid?" he asked

She pulled nervously at the strings of her WWE 13' sweatshirt "I need a favor."

"Lucky for you, I'm in a giving mood this holiday season. Come sit on Santa's lap and tell him what you want for Christmas."

She rolled her eyes and sat on his lap "Don't get fresh Santa, or I'll have to jingle your bells."

"Ouch, I know who's going on the naughty list this year." he joked "Now, what can I do for you little girl?"

"I was wondering if you could... Tell me how to get a seal of approval from Randy's family?"

John grinned at her "Awww that's cute." he laughed

Yelena blushed "I really want them to like me and since you two are close friends, I know you could guide me in the right direction." she said, sliding back into her chair

"So very true, but what do I get for helping you?"

Yelena hauled out a huge family size bag of gummy bears, putting it the table. John was a sucker when it came to candy

"Where should we start?" he asked, opening the giant bag, helping himself to a large handful

"His sister." she said, getting comfortable

After the show she went in search of Randy so they could head to Randy's newly acquired bus for the journey to Missouri. She had to admit it was a luxury to be driven to the next city and relaxed. Not to mention it was like a home on wheels. She found Randy in the locker room, his head in his hands. He was still sweaty from his match

"You okay?" she asked, kissing the top of his head before sitting down on the bench next to him.

"Yeah, my stomach is bothering me. I'm sure it'll pass."

This was the fourth time today he'd mention that his stomach was ailing him, but told her it was nothing

"You sure?" she asked, massaging his shoulder, noticing the goosebumps trailing down his arms

"Yeah. I'm just going to shower and we can get on the road."

"Okay. I'll meet you on the bus."

He nodded and she kissed him lightly before leaving. She went to catering and gathered up some food. She grabbed a few cans of Canada Dry ginger ale and a few packs of crackers for Randy.

She headed out to the parking lot and boarded the bus, saying hello to their driver on her way to the back. She put the food and drinks away in the fridge before making her way to the master bedroom. She took a quick shower and got situated just as Randy came in. He dropped his bags in the corner, yanking off his hoodie and flopped onto the bed, pulling her against his chest.

"I'm beat." he muttered against her neck "Why is it so damn hot on this bus?"

Weird. It was forty two degrees and freezing outside. She thought it felt heavenly. She slipped from his grasp and to the front of the bus and politely asked their driver if he could lower the heat, thanking him when he did. She climbed back into bed and into his arms.

"Sleep. I'll probably be right behind you in a little bit." she said, turning on the TV in the corner. The engine roared and they were on the road. He fell asleep almost instantly.

She was jolted awake an hour later when he sprung out of bed and bolted to the small bathroom.

"Randy?" she asked as she got up, rubbing her tired eyes and going to check on him "Babe are you okay?" she asked

He opened the door a few minutes later, looking pale "I think I caught the bug that's been going around the locker room."

He looked miserable and she wrapped his arm around her shoulder and helped him back to bed. When she got him comfortable, she yanked his shirt off, which was damp with sweat.

"I'll be right back." she told him. She went into the bathroom and got a wet cloth and then to the kitchen. Thank god she thought to grab the Ginger Ale. Going back into the bedroom, she set the cold drink on the nightstand, sitting down next to him. She could see the sheen of sweat that covered his face in the dim light of the TV. His spot on the bed was pretty much drenched. How he had been sweating like that without her feeling it was a mystery

"You're burning up." she told him, wiping his forehead

He groaned in response. She saw it coming but didn't have time to grab anything before he heaved all over her and the floor

"Damn." she muttered, running into the bathroom to get a towel. She raced back into the bedroom and cleaned him and the floor up before sliding out of her soiled sweatpants. They were going to have to stop somewhere so she could get him some medicine.

She pressed the can of soda into his hand "Drink this slowly okay. I'll be right back." she told him soothingly. She had never seen him so sick and she was worried

He nodded, his eyes still closed

She pulled on a pair of jeans and slid her feet into her UGGS, throwing on her sweatshirt before going to talk to the driver. He didn't give her a hard time about having to stop and pulled the bus into the nearest Rite Aid pharmacy. She rushed around the store, grabbing medicine and soup along with everything else her mother used to use on her and her sisters when they had a bug. She also grabbed a small bin. Randy had gotten lucky when he made it to the toilet and she was sure he wouldn't make it a second time.

She tapped her foot impatiently as the cashier rung up her items, throwing a twenty on the counter when he was done "Keep the change." she called over her shoulder and ran back onto the bus. The faster she got back to his side the better

She ripped open the thermometer and gently coaxed it into his mouth., not shocked to see it read one oh two. She filled the little cup up with the medicine she bought and put it to his lips.

"Open up." she said

He obeyed and she poured the liquid in. He gagged immediately

"What the hell was that?" he groaned

"Its for your stomach and you have to drink the whole thing if you want to get better"

"I think I'll take my chances, I don't want that shit." he said stubbornly

"Tough. Now open and stop acting like a big ass baby." she said sternly.

He grumbled an inaudible comment and knocked the rest of the contents back with a grimace and he fell back on the pillow with a groan

It was an exceptionally long night. Randy was crabby and Yelena tried her best not to strangle him and remember that he was only acting like a tool because he wasn't feeling well. He was never liked being fussed over, but she hated seeing him so sick and miserable. He couldn't keep anything down except a few saltine crackers. The day that followed seemed long and she was exhausted, determined to get him better if it killed her. God, she could only imagine what his mother would think if he cane home sick as a dog. She hadn't really slept at all, too worried that Randy would choke on his vomit in the middle of the night and giving him medicine around the clock. She hadn't realized she had finally fallen asleep after being up twenty four hours until she felt Randy kiss the nape of her neck, stirring her from her slumber. She rolled over and surprised to see him sitting up and alert

"You look like shit." he teased

"Look who's talking." she yawned, glancing at her phone. It was eleven a.m. Where had yesterday gone? "How are you feeling?" she asked, touching his forehead. His fever had broken, but his body was still warm

"Like half a pile of shit. Thank you for putting up with me."

She smiled lazily and sat up, stretching "It's okay. I know you didn't mean to barf all over me." she teased, getting up "Think you could eat something?"

"I can try." he said.

He was still a bit pale, but at least the fever was gone and he was alert. Baby steps.

They went into the kitchenette and she warmed up some soup for him with a side of dry toast

He seemed happy to see the food she set before him "Thank god for real food. I don't think I can take any more of that crap you were giving me." he said as he ate

"I know" she said, sitting down next to him "That's why I put it in your soup." she told him, pulling her legs against her chest

The spoon stopped halfway to his mouth and she laughed

"You can't even taste it you big ass baby." she said, rolling her eyes

He wrinkled his nose, but ate it anyway. When he was done, he pulled her into his arms "Thank you for taking care of me."

"All a part of the job." she said as he kissed her hair

This was suppose to be one long chapter, but I cut it in half. Punishment for the three reviews. Come on guys. I'm really working hard to finish this story. You have no idea how horrible my writer's block is and only getting THREE reviews isn't going to motivate me to keep going. To those three reviewers, don't think that I don't appreciate you guys. I love you to pieces, but dear readers, I post new chapters every other week and if this is what my reviews are going to start looking like, new chapters might have to get posted a little slower. Its all up to you! Give me something to work with and I'll do the same.
