Thank you for all the reviews and ideas. I hope you enjoy this chapter.

I enjoyed spending the day with Will, it was like before he met Kenzie and we had Henry, but we were now back to reality and it was time to pick up Kenzie. We had left the house about ten minutes earlier than we should have, I wanted to make sure we could park and pick Kenzie up from her classroom.

"Do you think that she enjoyed school today?" I asked as he parked the car.

"I hope so because if not I am in trouble tomorrow." Before getting out of the car.

"You go back to work tomorrow, so I will have to deal with her." As I got out of the car.

"I work midshift tomorrow so I will be able to help you in the morning."

"Let's hope it doesn't come to that." I replied as we walked up to the school.

"What time are we getting Henry?"

"Pen said she would drop him off in about two hours. It give us time with Kenzie."

"Okay then. We can make sure that she is okay and hear about her day before the boy comes home."

"Right." I smiled at him as we reached the classroom door, where other mothers were waiting to pick up their kids.

I didn't recognize any of the moms from pre-school, but I noticed that some of them stared at Will. I was starting to get used to this he was usually one of the few dads that attended almost all of Kenzie pre-school functions. I just smiled at them before turning back to Will.

Ten minutes later.

Ms. Walker had opened the door to the classroom, I noticed there was a couple older children showing the younger kids were to go to get on the bus. We had to wait until the room was clear before we went in to get our children. Will and I both noticed Kenzie was sitting at a table waiting for us to come as soon as she soon as she did she came running to us.

"You came to get me." She told me as she collided with my legs.

"We told you that we would be here to pick you up."

"Can we go home now?"

"Yes." Will told her as Ms. Walker walked over to us.

"Ms. Jareau may I speak with you for a moment?"

"Yes, Kenzie why don't you and daddy get your stuff."

"Okay." As she grabbed Will's hand.

Ms. Walker watched them walk over to her seat before saying anything.

"Kenzie did really good today and I think she will be okay coming back tomorrow." She started.

"Okay."

"I think she is going to be bored in a couple of days, she is extremely smart."

"Why do you think she will get bored?"

"Today when I was going over some of what each child knows, Kenzie is way ahead of the rest of the kids. She even said she could write her name."

"She learned a lot of things at Pre-school and we have worked with her a lot." I was not completely understanding why this would be an issue.

"I would like to see how the next two weeks go. However we are trying a new program and I think Kenzie would be a candidate for it."

"What kind of program?"

"She would spend some time in a first grade class with about five other students her age."

"Let's see how the next couple of weeks go."

"No problem at all. I am glad I was able to talk to you."

"Me too. Thank you Ms. Walker."

Will looked at me as he and Kenzie walked back towards me.

"I'll explain later."

"Okay, let's go home." He replied as he picked up Kenzie.

Once we were in the car and heading towards home, I decided to ask Kenzie how school went.

"Kenz did you have fun today?"

"It was okay." She replied with a yawn.

"Did you learn anything?"

"No, we had to tell Ms. Walker what we knew."

"Did you make any new friends?" Will asked.

"Yes, I played with Alice, Daniel, Mark, and Jake. We played tag and I didn't know Mark or Jake."

"Maybe tomorrow you will start learning new things." Will told her

"Nope."

"Why are you saying no?" he asked.

"Ms. Walker said we were going to learn our colors and I already know mine but she said we are going to read too."

"You like to read." I replied.

"Yes I do."

"So you are going back tomorrow?" Will asked.

"Yes, I told my friends we would play again tomorrow. I don't like it being all day."

"I know but you will get used to it." I told her as we pulled up to the house.

"Where is Henry?"

"Aunt Pen still has him." I told her as I got out of the car.

"Oh, can we snuggle?" she asked as I helped her out of the car.

"I think I can make that happen." As I picked her up.

"What can you make happen?" Will as he walked around the car.

"Somebody would like to snuggle." I told him with a smile.

"You too." Kenzie told him as she turned in my arms.

"We can do that." Will as he led as into the house.

The three of us laid in our bed.

"Kenzie tell us more about your day." Will

"We sit at tables and Alice is at my table so is Daniel but Mark and Jake are at a different table. Mark tells jokes and he played tag. He knows all his colors and numbers and he can spell his name too."

"What about Daniel and Jake?" I asked.

"They are nice but they don't know as much as Mark, Alice, and me. We told them we would help them."

"That was nice of you." Will told her.

"They were nice to me."

"Oh yeah."

"Yes, when I wanted to come home. Mark told me that it would be okay and you would come back."

"He was right. We will always come back to get you." Will replied.

"I know." She whispered.

"Did anything else happen?" Will asked.

"We get to go to a bigger room and eat lunch on trays. That was really fun I saw other kids from pre-school and then we went outside that's when we played tag but it's like the being at the park." She told us as she closed her eyes.

"I think someone will be taking naps again." Will

"At least for a little bit." I replied smiling.

/

"What did Ms. Walker want?" he finally asked.

"She is afraid that Kenz is going to get bored because she knows so much. The school is starting a program where she would spends with the first graders."

"Just Kenzie?"

"No, she said about five other kids." I explained, still not sure.

"How do you feel about?"

"I don't want her to be bored because we both know that could cause problems. I am afraid that it could overwhelm her and she would be a lot smaller than most of the kids. What do you think?"

"I am on the same page you are with her being bored and smaller than most of the kids but at the same time I don't want to hold her back. I think we need to think about it more."

"I do too."

"I am glad she wants to go back but I am going to have to check these little boys out."

"She only loves two boys."

"Oh yeah?"

"You and Henry but if you are like this now. I can't wait until she wants a boyfriend."

"That is not happening."

We laid in the bed with her, talking while she took a nap. I was relieved she want to go back to school tomorrow.
