Lord Joyde: Heylo, Everyone!

How are you all doing? Me? I'm okay, I suppose.

There has been quite a bit of shit going on in the last couple weeks which has left me totally tired and somewhat fatigued.

But meh, that's a story for another time. Anyhow, I've decided to post replies to guest reviews here, in the description, since I've seen that's what some of the other authors tend to do.

I'm doing this since a guest person has had gone on a roll of reviews.

Oh, and the next lemon will most likely feature Guiche and a random elf.

I WISH YOU MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR 2015 EVERYBODY!

Guest Reviews:

King Of Madness, review 1. If you continue reading my stories, you might find that happening a lot to you.

3. Actually, if your review post time is anything to go about, you died two minutes later.

4."Louise swinging around the version of Soul's Edge that Nightterror swings around in Soul Calibur 3 with a grin like the Cheshire Cat "... I would like more details please? :D

5. I don't remember making my author notes that perverted, lawl.

6. Sadly, no. He isn't the same one, its the guy from real stories.

Anyway, here comes chapter bloody fucking FIFTY, YEH FIFTY.. of The Heart Of Blaze! (btw, if anyone got the reference, you receive a virtual cookie)

I hope you enjoy, lets begin!

Don't mind me guys and girls! I'm just a line break...

The Battlefield – Galia's side – Wales's Point of View...

My rejoicing slaughter is broken as I feel the grief of Zeus himself wash over me.

Before I can ask him whatever more was wrong in this situation, he shows me with a huge viral pulse which travels over to the castle.

I.. cannot believe my eyes as I see Henrietta watching over the battlefield alongside the others who participated in the moot.

My heart is drenched by betrayal as Zeus forces my mind to comprehend the situation, as he shows me why and how she did what she did.

The King side of me is proud of her.

The Husband side... not so much.

Overall, I am very happy that she is alive, but angered at the same time.

However, this might not have been the right time to show me the truth as I am currently in the middle of a battlefield.

This.. moment of distraction had given the enemy enough time to regroup and fill me full of spears, which aren't really anything more than a nuisance.. or so I thought as I try to remove them to find myself stuck.

I see the Mad-King approaching me, his terrified soldiers in tow.

He laughs."Well now, Wales. I have absolutely no idea what distracted you there for a moment but it was more than enough to trap you."

I don't answer him as I try to rip myself free from my bindings. He smirks at me."Those are shadow-forged spears, they are unbreakable. It is useless to try and free yourself."

"What the hell do you want?" I ask of him, although I believe that I know the answer as I prepare a soul barrier around myself.

"Your end." A simple statement as he points his wand at me.

I release another viral pulse and bear witness to the massive army of Shapers approaching from the forests behind. I laugh at him.. at them.. all of them.

"Laughing at your own demise, Wales? Hell, and I'm the one they call Mad." He says with a smirk.

"Oh, I'm laughing because it does not matter weather I die here or not, Joseph." I tell him with a smile.

He quirks an eyebrow."What do you mean?"

"Take a look behind you.. You've run out of time.. for the Infernal Tide... has finally come to wash over you.."

His face is drowned in anger as his soldiers look behind to see the massive monstrosities of the Shapers charging right at them, a legion of black dragons leaking magma from their maws flying in the skies above.

Wasting no more time, he shouts."EXPLOSION!"

The energies of the void tear away at my barrier and still manage to break thru, albeit severely weakened. Talk about overpowered.

I fall to the ground, faking death as I allow the sweet bliss of sleep to take-over my body.

If I survive this, Henrietta will have a lot to answer for... and a couple sex rounds of being completely submissive.. mmm, yeah, I suddenly can see this totally being worth nearly dying for, fucking hormones.

The Battlefield – Romalia's Side – Joseph's Point of View...

I quickly teleport myself away from the other side to the growing inferno of whatever spell The Phoenix unleashed whilst fighting Vittorio.

Not that it matters, the void will protect me from the flames as I search for her. I know she is still alive, she has to be.

A magma elemental tries to ambush me but I simply destroy it with another explosion. It seems to have been defending the Sleeping form of the Phoenix.

I laugh to myself. Everything is going according to my plan.

Vittorio is dead, his secrets and Romalia is mine!

Henrietta has fallen, her quick rise was also her doom fall.

Wales died just now, Tristain is leaderless and will be easy prey.

And Louise.. my soon to be pet, my toy, my Gandalfyr. She will be the key to my domination of this pitiful world.

You see, because of my spies, I know full well that The Shapers are loyal to her first and anything else second. So If she is mine, so will they be.

And in the weakened form she is now, she will be easy prey for my Domination spell. I will have my Gandalfyr.

So I place my hand upon her body and teleport myself away, the troops remaining alive are all spell bound to become a distraction.

Their lives are meaningless... but hers...

Moments later... – The Royal Palace – The Throne Room – Reader's Point Of View...

Everyone was watching Henrietta as The Queen was shaking in her dress.

From what? Most didn't know.

Some guessed from fear. Others anger.

.. But everyone knew guilt when they saw it.

"W-w-what in Oblivion is that?!" The Old king Torres suddenly screamed out.

"Dragon!" Kraim said with a somewhat fearful tone.

Now all eyes were focused upon the approaching armies of the Shapers, charging into the remaining legions of Galia and Romalia.

Or, rather, they were focused upon the gigantic monstrosity flying above the army. Followed by scores of incomparably tinier, although still quite large, dragons, a massive beast that seemed about as large as a city district, with black, metal clad wings around the same size, was approaching the Throne room at a fast pace.

The massive monstrosity before them rises up like a black, crag-covered mountain of scales and molten hide. The head is a spade-like terror spiked with cruel red eyes that shine with a frightening malevolence. Rivulets of lava and magma are visible beneath the great wyrm's scorched metal scales.

And then, just as its about to crash into the Throne room, it is swallowed by a giant gas cloud as it disappears. And in its stead, a black-haired man, bearing wings much alike to that of the monster although smaller, drops from the air and into the room.

The Man picks up Henrietta by the throat, his eyes brimming full of molten anger."Foolish little girl! Do you even realize what you've done!?" The angered voice makes most of the rooms participants shiver in fear.

To her credit, The Iron Queen had merely gulped and then bowed her head in shame, not even bothering to fight the hand grasping her throat.

"Not exactly what I hoped for..." She manages to gutter out.

Seemingly calming down, the man-dragon lets her fall to the ground. Suddenly, Torres manages to break out from his stupor.

"Y-y-you!" The elderly king says as the Dragon looks at him and lets out a breath of annoyance before turning back towards Henrietta.

"Your actions demand punishment, little girl. I do not take kindly to betrayal such as this!" He says with a glare.

"I.. I have done what I had to. For my people, for Tristain. If I have to be punished for this, then so be it."

"Your punishment has already been decided, Henrietta... Because of your blatant manipulation, Louise and Wales have slaughtered thousands of people this day and The Shapers have yet to join the battle. The harvested dead demand justice and they will have it." The Man-Dragon says in a cruel voice.

"A-a-am I to die here?" The Iron Queen asks fearfully but breathes a sigh of relief once the dragon shakes his head in negative.

And then he laughs."There are things far worse than death, little girl. As you will soon find out. Your punishment is simple. Every time you close your eyes, you will bear witness to the final moments of every single person that has died this day, right as your husband and best friend end their lives."

Everyone in the room shares a collective gasp as he continues."Wales and Louise love you with all of their heart, Henrietta. They will forgive you, eventually... but I wonder, just how exactly do you plan on explaining this all to those people of yours, to Tristain itself, whom you hold so dear, once the fires die out?"

She gulps and looks to the floor. The Dragon smirks and walks back to the balcony from which he flew inside."As much as I would love to stay and torment your further, there are repercussions, caused by your pitiful ploy, which have to be dealt with. Wales's thirst for vengeance has driven the winds into a bloody rage and the amount of blood that Louise bled out onto the ground as she fell had opened several portals into the Elemental Plane of fire, unleashing countless elemental being of pure, magmatic flame, guided by noting other than an endless thirst for battle, upon this world!"

Henrietta's eyes grow wide."A-as she fell? You can't mean.. is Louise?"

He shakes his head."No, not yet anyway. She was kidnapped by The Mad-King who is likely to execute her if you do not act quickly and save her in time. Either way, I must go now, if the elements are left as they are, they will rage across this valley till all life upon it has been extinguished." He says and turns towards Zail and Kraim.

"You, mortals. You possess an affinity for the elements, any aid you may offer me would be appreciated."

They nod and bow in respect of the Mighty Dragon."As you wish, Lord Neltharion/Earth-Warder."

They say, much to the confusion of those around them."Neltharion?" Rawen asks, confusion evident upon her pale face.

The Dragon merely scowls."I've spent enough time here. I must go now."

Before he can jump off, a soft murmur is heard coming from the kneeling Henrietta.

He turns around with another scowl."What was that?"

"... What was I supposed to do?" Henrietta asks louder this time and The Dragons eyes grow wide and then soften.

"... I do not know child. Often when one is a ruler, they are besieged by countless decisions and even if they pick the correct direction for their people, if it isn't the best possible scenario, things tend to become ugly... If you want my counsel, try asking Zeus. Maybe he knows of a way you can still salvage the situation and redeem yourself... partially, at the very least." He says with a sigh before jumping off the balcony and transforming back into his Dragon form, flying towards the ever-growing pillar of magmatic flame unleashed by Louise.

Henrietta immediately clasps her hands and starts to pray, her eyes closed shut.

"Hey, wait a moment here, would someone please explain the situation for those unaffiliated with Zeus here?" Arnolf asks, equally fearful as he is annoyed.

His father nods and Rawen sighs.

Kraim looks at Zail and is given a sigh in return."You go first, old man. I'll explain this as best I can to them and then come to help you."

The Elder orc nods and leaves the room as Zail turns towards the other occupants.

"Long story short. The Dragon which came here is named Neltharion, The Earth-Warder. He, like Zeus, is from another world entirely and was sent here by Zeus in order to aid The Phoenix in the coming war. He is a friend and ally to Zeus himself and seems to know the Lord of Life on a personal level which makes him second only to The Phoenix herself when it comes to leading The Shapers."

"Wait so, your saying that the traitor, Lord Prestor isn't a human?" Arnolf asks with a blink.

Zail sighs."He isn't human. From what I know and can understand, he is an ancient black dragon, possibly older than Halkeginia itself. He knows magics that I can scarcely comprehend which makes him fully capable of taking on a human form which is the equivalent of his dragon self. He is an expert of manipulation and it would not surprise me if any memories you have of him are nothing more but false illusions, forged in order to make his sudden appearance less suspicious."

The Old King Torres nods, steadily."That is why I felt like I didn't know him when he appeared before me... and yet my mind told me that I knew the man for years beforehand."

"A black dragon... I've never heard of such a thing. What is the element of his brood?" Rawen asks, seemingly transfixed by the massive monstrosity.

"Black Dragons have a... combined element, I think. They can pull upon both earth and fire, but their real power lies within Magma itself. This made them perfect allies to the Shapers as their current and only rookery is within the upper echelons of Mount Olympus." Zail says.

They continue asking questions whilst Henrietta continues praying.

At That Same time – The Void of Existence – Henrietta's Point of View...

"Zeus... please.. tell me what can I still do to help?" I ask him whilst praying, half expecting to get yelled at but as soon as I finish my sentence I feel my soul leaving my body and transferring to the void of Zeus.

I open my eyes to see him calmly sipping tea and gulp, but before I can say anything I see him let out a sigh and then turn towards me with saddened eyes.

"Calm yourself down, my girl. I am not angry with you.. Neltharion was a bit rash with his judgment but the dead call out for Vengeance, so I cannot annul his decision."

He tells me and I feel my heart rate slowing back to normal levels."I-I-I see. I would not have asked you to do so either way but... please, can you tell me what should I do next. My plan worked but not perfectly aa-.." I feel myself trail off and tears start to flow.

I fall down to my knees again and start crying like some little girl and I hear Zeus sigh again.

Before I can steel myself he comes over and hugs me like a father would, one of his hands ruffling my hair gently.

"That's right... come on now, let it all out." I burst out in tears, hope leaking out of me like a river as I truly do not know what to do.

I feel like I've cried for an eternity as mere moments pass and he succeeds to calm me down, his warmth enveloping me.

He looks me right in the eyes as he tells me."The reason your plan didn't work is because you overestimated Louise and Wales. You believe them to be monsters and that is the reason why they will be angry, not because you made them charge an army in blood rage, Henrietta... those two love you so strongly, they would have done it anyway."

"A-a-and yet.. I did something like that to them." I say with a cruel voice, pain lingering still.

He sighs."They will forgive you eventually.. but now, we must focus on what is happening outside. Listen Henrietta, even with The Shapers arriving to finish off the remainder of the two enemy legions, they are still legions and there is a very high chance they will succeed to capture the city. The enemy troops are addled by the void, they will not stop killing, regardless of who is placed before them. Men, women, children.. all will die in their wake and The Shapers, powerful as they are, will not make it in time to save everyone."

I gulp."W-w-what should I do then? There has to be a way to save my people!"

He grins."Don't worry, my dear. I have an idea. Now... listen carefully, for what I'm about to tell you has to be done juuust, perfectly..."
