Author's Note: A few weeks back, I was falsely accused of being an Anonymous reviewer to one of my reader's stories that was hit with some negative reviews. To which I was not… Sorry. Anyway I will tell you what I told this pissed off reader. "I don't leave Anonymous reviews." Now I've written some negative and positive reviews over the years, but I'm always signed in or on rare occasion I left with a "-BuckNC" on the review to leave no doubt that it's me.

Why, because by now you all should know me that I'll speak my mind no matter what. I'll be honest and to the point, but most of all - you'll know it was from me. When I say it's me, then you can take that to the bank. Otherwise you got the wrong loudmouth git. ;-)

Chapter 53 - Misadventures of Dragonheart

Ron's POV:

It was one of those moments where you find yourself at a lost to what you are doing and where you are. Because at this moment, Ron wasn't quite sure why his eyes' were shut, his head was tilted, and his lips were moving over someone else's. Even his hands were in on the act as his right hand was running through something entangled and his left hand seemed to be pulling the bottom of something he was kissing closer to him. Added to that impulse was the huge excitement on his lips and hands as it caused a sensation to race throughout his body. Unfortunately, after running out of air he thought it might be wise to find out who he was kissing and feeling. After all, he had to be certain it wasn't another one of his randy dreams that he was having about Hermione or the other one about him and the entire Holyhead Harpies Quidditch team. Not that he constantly dreamed about a seductive Hermione or a sexy Gwenog Jones, team captain, surrounded by the rest of her all-women Harpies team members climbing up into his bed. Grant you he might've wondered from time to time on what Hermione would look like in the same provocative pink nightie he caught a glimpse of Fleur wearing for Bill. That or maybe even fantasized about the Harpies gathered around his bed singing, "Weasley is my King." Still, he wasn't the type of seventeen-year-old bloke who constantly fantasized … bullocks, he was one.

Ron reluctantly opened his eyes to see the face of Hermione pressed up against his.

WHOA!? YESSSS!

Hermione as if sensing his consciousness pulled back from the kiss and slowly stepped back, a sort of breathless look of joy on her face like she had just received an Outstanding on a really hard Ancient Runes test or something.

If that wasn't weird enough he somehow found himself in a deep dark cavern with Harry, Ginny, Percy, Bill, and a bunch of Goblins looking at him like he was completely nutters. Of course, he thought for a second he might be.

Where the bloody Merlin am I? Why is everybody looking at me? Ron thought in confusion as if the planet was racing around him and he was left in a stupor amazement at what just happened. He almost felt like he woke up from this great dream and was completely unaware of his immediate surroundings.

"Yuck," declared a foul looking Ginny as she made a disgusted face at him. "I'm going to go blind."

"About bloody time," Harry grumbled in exasperation.

Harry then brought everyone's attention back to something else. "If this is Draco Malfoy's Trust fund then that means he can't…"

Bill finished Harry's statement after he winked at Ron, "Control a Knut of it until he either becomes of legal age or graduates Hogwarts as a fully certified Wizard."

Why are we talking about Draco?

Ron watched as a blushing Hermione turned around to face the group.

Oh Merlin she smells beautiful. Ron thought as he was still in a daze remembering the scent from her bushy hair.

"Only a Gringotts Goblin or someone who has legal rights to the vault would be able to remove anything from it." Hermione matter-of-factly explained to the others.

"So much for Draco joining his father in Azkaban," grumbled Harry. "We need to look for clues… Ron - RON!"

Ron snapped out of his randy daze to see a frown off Harry's face, an eye-rolling look from Ginny, and a pleading look from Hermione to act serious. "Yes… yes. Look for –- what is it we're looking for?"

Ginny and Bill both snickered at his question while Hermione forcibly grabbed his hands and dragged him into the vault. Harry, Ginny, and Bill followed them as Percy stayed outside the vault to address the Goblins.

"The Minister of Magic will most certainly hear of this matter…" Percy declared before they could no longer hear his voice or the Goblins deep inside the vault.

In the middle of the empty vault Harry stopped and addressed everyone. "Everyone light your wands and look for clues."

Ron added something to what Harry said to stress the point that he was also in charge as his memory gradually started to come back to him on why they were there. "I'll check for fingerprints on this side, Harry you check on that side and Ginny—"

Ginny sarcastically interrupted, "Who put the dumb one in charge?" She further made the rebellious point by crossing her arms over her chest and not moving a bit to comply with his orders.

"My size eleven foot in your arse did," cracked Ron who wasn't going to put up with anymore of his little sister's back talk.

"You wouldn't—,"Ginny snapped back but stopped when she saw the seriousness in Ron's face that he would.

"I found something," announced Hermione from a corner of the room.

She lifted up a strand of long dark black hair that was at least a half a meter long.

Harry was the first to offer an opinion on it. "It's not blonde or white so that rules out the Malfoys'."

Bill after saying a few incantation and waving his wand around the vault spoke up. "The magical wards appear to be intact then that would mean whoever entered this vault did so legally."

Ron, after performing the same fingerprint reveal spell he learned the day before from Remus Lupin didn't find a single fingerprint anywhere in the vault. "No fingerprints."

Ginny added in her findings after scanning the vault with her lit wand, "Nothing over here, it's as empty as Ron's brain." It earned her a quick kick in the pants from Ron as she was walking out of the vault.

However, before she could retaliate, Harry grabbed Ron by the collar and dragged him away from a snarling red face Ginny. "Knock it off you two. Hermione, use one of the plastic bags in your jacket to secure the hair. Maybe we can get Remus and Mad-eye to trace who it belongs too."

"—this is a public matter and the Ministry is not in the business of hiding things from the public," argued a red-faced Percy to the sneering Goblins who chuckled along with Harry at Percy's last statement.

Ron pushed Harry off his collar as he turned around to see Percy pointing and waving his fingers at a group of elder Goblins who looked near fighting mad.

"Wizard, this matter is none of your concerns," an elder Goblin declared with a finality in his voice.

"Actually, Percy," added a songbird Ginny changing in an instant from baby little sister brat to cute and innocent. "I think it only fair that we send an Owl to Draco telling him about his trust fund being gone. What with him graduating in four months from now and with his father in prison he would be in charge of all the Malfoy's businesses and vaults."

Ron, for the first time in his life saw a Goblin gasp and another look in total fear at what Ginny had said to them.

"I'm sure he will have to consider taking his Galleons to some place more secure."

With that, Ron watched as another one of the elder Goblins grasped at his chest and kilted over knocking another Goblin down on top of him. Fortunately, Bill magically produced a glass of water and helped the elder Goblin to wake up from passing out.

In the boldest of sneakiness, Ron recognized that Ginny had hit on the Goblins' worst fear, the lost of their biggest vault holder and customer. Of course, he couldn't helped but feel a bit of anger toward the Goblins that Malfoys' Galleons were more important to them than hunting Death Eaters. That and if he was honest with himself a feeling of jealousy that he would never earn in a lifetime half the amount of Galleons of what Draco just lost.

Bloody Ferret! He's still rich while the rest of us… Bugger it's not fair, Ron exhaled in frustration before turning his eyes on Hermione who seemed a bit concern about his expression.

"Yes of course, he will be told," confirmed Percy who didn't really seem to care if he was told as much as he was angry about the Ministry not getting paid for his bill. "The bigger concern is the Ministry of Magic being paid in full. Now, if you will excuse me I have to report this matter."

A few of the Goblins shrieked thinking that Percy was going to immediately report to Draco Malfoy and not the Ministry. A few even ran in front of Percy's path to the cart stopping him from leaving. "Wait, wizard."

As Percy seemed indignant by the some of the Goblins stopping him from getting on the cart to leave a few of the elder Goblins were arguing with one another in Goblin gibberish. It did not take long before a few of them even started pushing one another and shouting.

Fortunately for the Goblins, Bill stepped in between them to restore order and offer an alternative. "Perhaps sirs, we should ask for a settlement."

"Settlement," roared all of the Goblins in agreement with Bill's suggestion including the ones that were arguing with one another and the ones trying to stop Percy from leaving.

"Settlement. Yes, we would like to discuss settlement." The eldest Goblin confirmed to Bill and then over to Percy.

"I won't settle for anything less than full payment for the Ministry," demanded Percy as he turned around and walked back to Bill.

"With your permission sirs, if we were to secretly hand over the financial records of this vault to the Ministry for its murder investigation then the matter would remain private until the completion of its investigation. Therein we wouldn't inform Mr. Malfoy or anyone else about the missing money of this vault until it was found and the investigation completed."

The Goblins seemed almost relieved at this bit of news.

"Yes, but what about my bill," Percy demanded to know not caring in the least about the investigation but instead about him bringing in new funds for the Ministry.

Bill stopped to look down at the Goblins who Ron knew wouldn't offer a Knut of their own money. It was at this moment that Harry spoke up to do something.

"I'll pay it."

"Harry, no!" Ron balked at the idea that his Best Mate would be paying for the burial fee of Antonio Dolohov.

"Ron, we have no choice—"

"Bullocks, Harry, we can let Draco stew on it. It's the least he deserves!"

"We're going to need those records Ron, it's our only lead."

A Goblin added another stipulation, "You have to find the missing money before Mr. Malfoy graduates."

Ron growled in frustration as Harry turned around and nodded at the Goblins and then Percy in final agreement. "Great… just great! We have to pay for Dolohov's funeral in Westminster Abbey and we have to find the ferret's bloody trust fund! What next, we have to find Voldemort's missing family heirloom torture rack?!"

Hermione sensing his anger walked over to him before speaking with him. "Ron, calm down. Harry is only doing what's best."

"Let's just go," snapped Ron totally frustrated from the entire ordeal as he walked back to the cart.

"Er… Ron – can we walk," pleaded a nervous Hermione about the prospect of riding the cart again.

Ron feeling totally exasperated again impulsively reacted by walking straight back to a hesitant Hermione and reached inside her partly open Dragon-hide jacket to pull out the vial of Weasley's special Anti-Hangover Potion.

"Take this, Hermione."

Hermione startled at first as Ron was feeling her breast growled with a murderous glare, "Ronald, remove that hand - now."

It was at this moment Ron realized that he wasn't feeling a vial of potion but a soft mound of Hermione's breast inside her shirt.

"I… I… ah sorry," Ron stuttered in embarrassment before yanking his hand out.

"If they start having sex, I'm going to be the next one to hurl." Ginny quipped aloud as she walked past them to the cart.

"Not helping my stomach either," croaked Harry as he held a hand to his stomach and made a nauseated face before sitting down in the cart beside Ginny.

"You two sure do move fast," quipped Bill walking past them with a knowing smirk on his face as he took a seat on the cart beside Harry, Ginny, and Percy.

Hermione stood there livid with him as he hesitantly pointed toward the right side of her jacket where the potion was stored. "Don't listen to them, just take that orange one there and you'll be fine."

She continued to scowl at him as she slowly pulled out the orange potion and then uncertainly drunk it. "Yuck, this is horrible. What is this?"

Ron felt the need to inform her of the usefulness of the Potion and not so necessarily about the ingredients. On the ingredients he didn't want have to tell her about the Eyes of Newt and the generous portion of dung droppings from African Jungle Bats.

"It's a family special—"

Bill interrupted, "Family special? You mean the Anti-Hangover potion with the bat dung?"

Hermione physically shuddered before throwing an even harder scowl at him as she balled up her fists.

Ron immediately felt the need to defend himself before Hermione yelled his head off. "It keeps you from throwing up." After he gave her his explanation and before she could reply he once again yanked a scowling Hermione onto the cart before hollering, "Go!" at Grinhook.

"Ron, I'm going to kill you!" Hermione screamed while holding firmly onto him as the cart speeded backwards through the rollercoaster rides toward the surface.

Harry's POV:

Harry had to admit when it came to Ron standing up against his older brothers, he didn't really care which brother it was.

"I'll stay here with Perce and get the records then I'll meet you at Fred and George's shop. Now I want you four to go straight there as it's not safe-" ordered Bill to all of them gathered around him in the lobby of the bank before getting rudely interrupted by Ron.

"Hermione and I are going to eat some ice cream," declared Ron ignoring his oldest brother orders. However, he was smart enough to notice the frown on Hermione's face so he further added, even a bit reluctantly, to where they were going before Bill or Percy could argue back at him. "And I guess we can stop at Flourish and Blotts for a little while too."

Hermione's eyebrows shot up and Harry could tell that she was having a problem of wanting to lecture Ron on being safe and following Bill's orders versus her over-eager desire to go shopping for books. Fortunately, Ron decided for her, grabbing her by the hand and walking out of Gringotts to Diagon Alley.

"Ron! Ron, it's not safe!" Percy bawled out to the disappearing backs of Ron and Hermione.

As if following Ron's queue, Ginny spoke up. "We're going over to Madam Malkin's. I need to look for a new dress gown to wear for the Leaver's Ball." (A/N: British for Graduation Ball)

"No you can't-"

"Quidditch Shop." Harry quickly added to Ginny as he also ignored Bill's refusal.

"Yes and the Quidditch shop too. Bye Bill, bye Percy." Ginny said, and then she kissed both Bill and Percy on the cheek.

"Ginny, you can't leave … and Harry you should know better than to-"

Harry grabbed Ginny by the hand and they both swiftly walked out of Gringotts but not before hearing Bill tell Percy in exasperation.

"Ah forget it, let Mum worry about them. Come on, Perce, we need to sign for these records."

Hermione's POV:

After Ron had a double scoop of his favorite chocolate, caramel, green magical sprinkles, and jellybean ice cream at Florean Fortescue's Ice Cream Parlor, Hermione had a brief twenty-five minutes of uninterrupted time to browse the New Release section at Flourish and Blotts. That was until Ron started to pout that he had finished reading all the Quidditch magazines and he wanted to leave.

Stupid prat. He can spend fifteen minutes eating ice cream in the freezing month of February, but he can't spend more than thirty minutes in the warm cozy inside of a bookstore.

Hermione reluctantly had to pay and leave with only five new books that she had time to find called: "Ancient and Previously Unknown Runes", "Advanced Healing Potions," "How to Cook like a Witch," "Mysteries of Human Transfiguration," and something else she was really looking forward to reading, "The Cornerstone of Wizard and Magical Beast Relations."

"I can't believe you bought all these ruddy books," grumbled Ron as he carried them out to Diagon Alley for her. "What, our NEWT book aren't enough?"

Hermione rolled her eyes before she retorted, "These are very interesting books and you would think so if you read something more than Quidditch magazines and silly Muggle Marvin comics."

Ron grunted the correction of his favorite silly comic books, "It's Martin Miggs, the Mad Muggle."

"Whatever." Hermione spouted while rolling her eyes.

At this point Hermione looked over to see an almost giggling Ginny and a knowing Harry who was having a hard time trying to keep a smile off his face come racing up to them on the street as they left the bookstore and were about to walk down to Fred and George's store.

"Ron, we thought it would be wiser if you and Harry go in the back way. You know to make sure it's safe and no one is following us."

Hermione knew that wasn't the case from the look on Ginny's face and she had a good feeling Ron did too.

"I don't believe you," snorted Ron at his sister while he was trying to keep a book on the top of all the other books she bought from falling off.

"It's true, isn't it Harry?" Ginny quarreled.

"Ah… yeah. Come on, Ron, we don't want anyone to see us enter your brothers' shop – it's not safe."

Ron flashed a suspicious stare at his sister but relented at Harry's suggestion and made for the back alleyway into Fred and George's shop. As Ron and Harry walked away, Hermione turned to ask Ginny what was really going on.

"Now, why can't Ron enter through the front?"

Ginny smiled from ear to ear but she didn't answer and instead took her by the arm and led her around to the front of Weasley Wizarding Wheezes store window display. In the window set a giant size poster of a magical cartoon drawing of a red-hair boy that bared a close resemblance to Ron with his work pants on fire and being chased by a huge fire breathing Dragon. The title above this moving picture read, "The Misadventures of Dragonheart."

"No they didn't," gasped Hermione at the thought of Fred and George running a comic book about Ron.

"It's brilliant!" Ginny proudly declared.

"Thank you, little sis," said Fred or maybe it was George as one of them stepped outside the front door to meet them.

With that a giant ball of flame erupted on the giant size poster burning it to a crisp before magically re-appearing again without so much as a burnt mark on it.

Hermione had to bite her lower lips to keep from laughing aloud as she knew if it ever got back to Ron that she was seen laughing at this poster she'd never hear the end of it. Instead she looked over at a proud George or maybe it was Fred with a mixture of disbelief, amusement, and disapproval.

"You wouldn't believe the consumer response we've gotten from this. We're outselling The Adventures of Martin Miggs, the Mad Muggle comic books by almost two to one. It's our most profitable item we have. Lee does the layout, Fred takes the pictures we have from Charlie and re-graphs them to look like comics, and I do the dialog and story-telling."

"I always said you two were going to be madly successful," declared Ginny giving George a big hug.

Ron is going to be the one raving mad. Hermione shuddered to think of what he would do when he saw what his older brothers have been doing.

"Oi, Fred, George!" screamed Ron from the back of the store causing Hermione to groan.
