For a child with a famous surname and family, such as Abigail Stark, being a regular teenager was something she had dreamed of. To go to a movie without people whispering about who you were, to go get from frozen yogurt with friends without press asking about your parents and without paparazzi trying to create a story would have been amazing. But that was the life Abby had grown up with. It was what she was used to.

But that didn't mean that she wasn't going to try. She was in her senior year of high school and it was the age of wild parties and continual fun, she wasn't going to miss out on that. After all, she is a Stark.

''Is your dad going to bust you again?'' Samantha asked.

Abby looked to her friend with a roll of the eyes. She was never going to live down the time Iron Man showed up at one of the first and few parties that Abby managed to sneak out to and dragged her back home. Before she even got her hands on her first drink for the night.

''Trust me, after that incident I memorized every override code that my dad has set,'' Abby assured. ''We're good,''

''What'd you tell them?''

''That I'm having a movie night at your place,'' Abby shrugged. ''My mom's got new tech proposals to deal with and my dad's got Iron Man business,''

Samantha folded her arms and shook her head at her friend.

''I don't trust your plan. They'll find out,''

''You don't know my parents. It's Friday, which means they'll order take out and my mom will go over what she needs to approve before Monday with a glass of wine and then she's in bed. My dad will be off doing some op with my uncle or meeting with some military group, I don't know, but he'll be busy. And Luke is gonna have a friend over playing video games all night. I'm totally off the radar, don't worry about it,''

Abby grinned at her friend excitedly but Samantha only rolled her eyes and huffed.

''Whenever you say not to worry, it makes me worry,''

''Okay well how about instead of 'don't worry', we go with let's have a drink?''

Pepper had just finished pouring herself a glass of red wine when she heard running feet down the hall. Lucas was getting taller everyday and Pepper couldn't believe how much he was looking like Tony as he got older. The dark eyes, the deepening voice, it was like he was rapidly growing before her eyes.

''Mom, Will's here, can I order a pizza?'' Lucas asked as he grabbed two sodas from the refrigerator.

''We just ate Chinese,'' Pepper told him, her tone less than surprised.

''If we're gonna get through these new few hours on Call Of Duty, we're gonna need pizza,'' Lucas argued.

''Okay but you won't get any of that ice cream I got today,''

''Well in that case can I order two pizzas?'' Lucas asked hopefully. ''I'll take your silence as a yes. Thanks mom!''

Pepper rolled her eyes with a soft sigh and grabbed her glass of wine to head straight for the living room. Before Pepper was even going to begin looking at the stack of papers on the bench, she needed a good hour of reality show drama. It wad hard to ever get time to herself, especially at the end of the week when both of her children were at home getting up to who knows what, but tonight was definitely going to be relaxing.

The sound of gunfire starled Pepper for a moment before realizing that Lucas had left the door to his room open, the sounds of video game violence making it's way throughout the house.

''Lucas, close the door or turn it down please!'' Pepper called out.

After a few moments of no change, Pepper readied herself to stand up and walk up the stairs. But as usual Tony appeared just in time to save her the trouble. Tony waved his hand toward Pepper to tell her to stay while he rushed upstairs, delivered the very nicely put threat and then made his way back down to his wife.

Pepper always worked too much, it was just who she was. But on a Friday evening, with all of the week hanging on her shoulders, Tony was sure she looked more tired than any other day or time of the week. All he wanted was for her to relax. She organized the company, the meetings, their kids' schedules and remembered every single thing she had to do without fail. Her mind was remarkable. But she needed to rest.

''Another glass?'' Tony asked, picking up Pepper's now empty wine glass.

''I better not, I won't be able to read those proposals-''

''Good, so you're having another glass,'' he insisted, walking toward the kitchen.

Pepper smiled as he did so, not even bothering to argue that she shouldn't. To be honest she really did want the next glass, and another after that until she fell asleep here on the couch. There was nothing exciting about the idea of sitting down to a pile of documents that all needed her signature and approval. But it took the extra pressure off for the Monday. Everything that happened in Pepper's life had a domino effect. If one thing didn't get done, the whole system was in danger.

Tony returned with a full glass of wine for Pepper and a smoothie for himself. He was still crazed about making batches of smoothies for him and the kids, so much so that there was always endless supplies in the refrigerator.

''Maybe I'll just do those proposals in the morning,'' Pepper said with a content sigh, taking a sip of the wine.

''Or, you know, wait until Monday when you actually have to do it,'' Tony suggested. ''You get weekends off but I feel like you never really leave work,''

''Perks of being CEO,'' Pepper shrugged.

''Well maybe you should cut back,''

''Tony, I know you worry, but we've talked about this so many times,'' Pepper shook her head. ''I've got too many ideas for the company to get out now, and I've got more time now with the kids...not needing their mom and dad as much...''

Tony stayed silent as he watched Pepper with a confused and scared expression. After one glass of wine, Pepper usually became more unreadable than she already was to him. Not to mention how emotional she became when talking about their kids and them growing up.

It was hard to see Abby and Lucas living their lives with their friends and not needing or wanting to spend as much time, if any, with their parents. To the world they may have been famous and everyone might have wanted some of their time, but to their kids, Pepper and Tony were their boring old parents who they were trying so hard to separate themselves from. Typical teenagers. And it was hard.

''Are you crying?'' Tony asked after a moment, noticing Pepper's hand coming up to cover her eyes.

''No,'' Pepper sobbed, unable to hide it.

''Pep,'' Tony whispered as he knelt down next to the couch. ''They're not gonna stop being our little kids,''

''Yes they are. Abby's got her own life now and Lucas is going through that teenage phase that boys never actually come out of. They're never gonna need their mom like they used to, they'll never be home for dinner or want to stay in and watch movies,''

''Hey, yes they will. They're teenagers Pep, they're not always gonna be fun. But they'll always need their mom, that's guaranteed. We raised them to be great kids, you are an amazing mom and there's no way they'll be leaving us anytime soon I promise you that,''

Pepper took Tony's hand into her own and held it tight.

''After all this time, you're still so sweet to me,'' she smiled with a light chuckle. ''I just don't want my babies to grow up so fast,''

''They'll always be our babies,''

Abby stood on top of the dining room table in the dark room, illuminated only by the glow sticks and multi colored lights that hung from the ceiling. A boy stood by her side, arms linked together as they held a shot glass each full of a mixture of liquor their friends had created.

''You good?'' Abby asked loudly over the music.

Their friends stood around them in the room chanting for them to take the shot, but Nathan looked like he wouldn't be able to handle anymore. He was worried about his parents coming home early from their weekend away and discovering his wild party, but Abby was intent on taking his mind off that worry.

''I think so,'' Nathan nodded.

Abby winked at him in encouragement and counted to three before they both awkwardly maneuvered their linked arms to take the shot. Whatever the drink was made from, Abby made sure she couldn't taste a think, throwing the contents of the glass back down her throat and swallowing before she even felt the burn.

The room erupted in a cheer of pride, beginning to chug their own drinks and turn their attention to dancing instead. Nathan stumbled back and was helped down by a few friends but Abby insisted on staying right where she was to dance some more. Samantha soon ran over to the side of the table with two red cups full of alcohol and tapped Abby on her ankle.

''Ab! You're gonna break your neck if you fall from there!'' Samantha warned.

Abby knelt down and put her hands on either side of Samantha's face.

''You worry too much, you know that?'' she spoke with a slightly slurred voice, grabbing one of the cups from Samantha's hand and taking a gulp. ''You know what cures the worries?''

''More alcohol, I know,'' Samantha shook her head. ''I'm trying here!''

''Actually, alcohol won't help you stress less,''

Samantha and Abby turned to the guy who had been standing by the table all night. Wyatt Ford was one of the guys that hung around with the jocks and only dated the popular girl of the month. Typical high school jerk. But after the amount of drinks Abby and Samatha had consumed, and apparently Wyatt too, the social barriers didn't exist.

''Oh yeah?'' Abby looked to him, interested. ''What have you got in mind?''

The next evening, Abby walked back inside to her home and immediately wanted to drop to the floor and die. Her body was trembling and sweating as if she was coming down with the plague and it felt like it too. Thankfully her parents were busy somewhere out on the balcony, giving her the perfect pathway to her room without being disturbed. Or so she thought.

''Hey Ab,'' Lucas greeted as she reached the top of the stairs.

''Hey little bro,'' Abby yawned, continuing to her room.

''You look like the zombies I've been killing all night,''

''That's funny, I feel like a zombie that's been killed multiple times overnight too,''

Lucas followed his sister down the hall and into her room where he watched her throw her backpack into the corner and collapse onto her bed. He almost walked over to poke her and make sure she was alright before he heard the croaky groan that escaped her lips.

''Go get me a soda,'' Abby mumbled.

''What's in it for me?'' Lucas folded him arms, feeling cheek.

''I won't hurl my show at your head,''

With a grin of amusement, Lucas walked closer to Abby's bed and sat down on the edge, looking at his sister in wonder. Her hair was matting to her forehead from the sweat and her eyes were stained with mascara streaks.

''Weren't you at a movie night?'' he asked.

''What can I say? It was intense,'' Abby groaned again. ''Where's that soda?''

A hangover was something that couldn't easily be hidden from parents, but after an hours nap, a shower and two cans of soda, Abby felt like she could make it through the rest of the evening without throwing up or giving off any signs of post intoxication. It wasn't as if her parents had any suspicions anyway.

As soon as she made it downstairs, Abby could smell food cooking. As hungry as she felt, the smell made her even more nauseous. Backing away from the kitchen, Abby carried a large bottle of water into the living room and eased herself down on the couch.

''Hey kiddo,'' Tony walked into the room with a plate full of pasta. ''Didn't think I'd see you 'til tomorrow, I could hear you snoring when I went upstairs,''

''Yeah, didn't get too much sleep,'' Abby rubbed her eyes.

''Did you have a good time at Sam's?'' Pepper asked as she too walked in, taking a seat next to Abby as Lucas followed in behind his mom.

''Yeah, it was really fun,''

''Looks like you had a late night,'' her mom chuckled. ''Do you want some dinner?''

''I'll pass, maybe later,''

Good evening and welcome to Fox News on this lovely Saturday...

Lucas groaned as he looked at the television, shoving a fork load of pasta into his mouth.

''The news?'' he complained.

''If we have to listen to your zombie killing all night, you can watch the news for an hour,'' Tony countered.

Abby could feel her stomach churning, the smell from the multiple plates of pasta wafting into her senses. She had to get up and walk around, she needed to drink something more than just the water.

''You okay?'' Pepper asked, noticing something off about her daughter.

''Yeah I'm fine, just thinking about some of that dinner,'' Abby smiled, standing up and making her way to the kitchen.

In celebrity news this evening, the daughter of Stark Industries CEO and Iron Man himself was pictured at a house party last night in what appears to be quite a reckless state...

Abby's steps paused immediately, her heart almost stopping in her chest. The flashing lights of people's cameras came into her memory from the party, she was taking photos with all her friends and with almost everyone in her year. It was meant to be innocent, they were all friends, there was no one there associated with the press. But they must have found someone to pay for some photos of the famous Stark child.

Abigail Stark was celebrating her final year at high school with a senior house party of a fellow student. The almost eighteen year old daughter of Tony and Pepper Stark was seen enjoying many beverages throughout the night and even partook in smoking what appears to be marijuana. Sources say the teenager was seen frequently dancing on tabletops with her classmates and singing almost every song that was played. And now to another child of famed media mogul...

Tony was still holding his fork in his hand as his eyes stared at the screen, but the food had fallen off from how long it had been there. Abby could see his hand almost turning white with pressure, bending the fork in the middle until it was almost a right angle. Pepper's eyes were wider than Abby had ever witnessed on a person before, her mouth hanging open and her face turning red at an alarming rate.

''Okay,'' Abby began, slowly stepping out of the room. ''I'm sensing some anger, some confusion...''

''Lucas go to your room,'' Pepper told him quietly.

''What did I do?!''

''Go! Now!'' Tony told him firmly.

Lucas rolled his eyes and stood up, taking his dinner with him as he left the room, passing his sister who looked like she was going to pass out at any second. Abby looked to him with pleading eyes before he walked out, wishing she could be the one to leave the room.

''Can you mercy kill me before you go?''

Hey guys! So I wanted to write a chapter showing how the kids are still teenagers and are going to do silly, wild things just like their parents (mainly Tony on this one since Abby has taken after him the most) and explore how that would all happen. My next chapters are going to time jump again and we'll get to see the kids older once more and how Tony and Pepper adjust to all the changes. If you'd like a particular moment to be written please suggest it in the reviews and I will gladly write it into one of the chapters. I aim to please. Thanks for reading!
