The next morning Chris was the first one to wake up. He was really tired but without Chef being here he was going to need Courtney. They both knew it and Courtney was going to have to step up to the plate, pregnant or not. Chris sighed knowing this was going to be a disaster.

"Courtney." Chris lightly nudged her "You gotta get up..."

"I don't want to." Courtney yawned and rolled over.

"Yeah, but you have to do it." Chris told her and then opened up the curtains in the room.

"What time is it?" Courtney asked Chris.

"6:00am." Chris told her "The sun is going to rise soon and we need them up by 7:00am."

"Can't you do it?" Courtney yawned "I'm just really tired."

"No, you need to go to the dining hall and make food." Chris told her "You're going to have to do it Court..."

"Why can't you just make the food?" Courtney asked while closing her eyes.

"Then you want to host?" Chris asked her. "We don't have time for this, You can either cook the food or host the show. I don't care what one you do but pick something."

"Do I have to?" Courtney asked him.

"Courtney, I'm being reasonable with you." Chris rolled his eyes "You're the one who sent Chef to get Duncan, so that means you're going to take his place and go make the food."

"Okay. Fine." Courtney got up from the bed. "I'm going to take a shower first and then I'll go to the kitchen and start."

"Thank you." Chris sighed in relief "I'm going to go and wake them up, I'll make them run around for a bit and then you can make sure they have food and then we do the challenge."

Gwen once again woke up in Blainley's car while she was driving.

"Urg!" Gwen threw her head back hitting the seat. "You told me we would be there last night!"

"Quit complaining." Blainley told her "I stopped a little bit last night while you fell asleep. We should be there in an hour or two."

"You should have woke me up, I would have driven us there." Gwen rolled her eyes.

"Oh well, I didn't." Blainley told her "Wait until we get here! You're going to love my apartment!"

"I somehow doubt it." Gwen rolled her eyes "Do you have coffee there?"

"Possibly." Blainley told her looking in the mirror. "I need to get my roots done when we get there."

"Blainley?" Gwen asked "What's your deal with Chris?"

"He's how I ended up the way I am today." Blainley told her. "I don't really want to talk about it."

Duncan was still sitting in the hotel parking lot somewhere in Texas and it started to rain.

"Just great..." Duncan sighed looking up. "Where the hell is Courtney?"

Courtney took a shower and got dressed. She figured she would head to the kitchen and start on cooking for these kids she really didn't like. To be honest she wanted to spit in the food. She could see why Chef hated the contestants. She started looking through the cabinets to find something she could actually use to make food. All she found was expired oatmeal oats that had no flavor and some pieces of rotting apples.

"Guess this will do..." Courtney threw the oats in hot water and added some milk as she hoped for the best. She started to open the windows in the cabin while she waited for the food to cook, Chef really didn't know how to keep a clean kitchen or he didn't care about the conditions of the food the contestants ate. While Courtney was in the process of making the food someone fell through the ceiling, It was Izzy. This didn't surprise Courtney at all.

"Izzy?" Courtney asked her "Aren't you supposed to be over at the playa?"

"Yeah!" Izzy laughed "Then I got bored so I figured I would swing by and check on these new contestants and then I literally swung by and I fell through the ceiling! So, I wanted to have a battle with Chefy! Where is he?"

"He's not here, Izzy." Courtney rolled her eyes "He left to go bring Duncan back! I hope you plan on fixing the ceiling before you just take off! Because it's just me and Chris here and I'm too pregnant to fix the ceiling and I'm pretty sure Chris won't do it!"

"Oh, I have an idea!" Izzy jumped up and down. "How about I scare the new contestants?! I can wear this really awesome spider costume! Yeah, that's a great idea! hahahahahaha! They'll never see it coming!"

"Yeah, Izzy I don't think that's a really good idea..." Courtney sighed. "How about you help me serve some breakfast instead?"

"Nah! I like the spider idea better!" Izzy laughed. "I'll just borrow some stuff from Chef's kitchen!"

"Ya know what?" Courtney sighed. "I don't even care anymore! You can take whatever you want, I'm going to make food. The least you could have done was brought somebody helpful with you! Or at least someone who wanted to talk about something sane!"

"I'll keep that in mind the next time I come crashing through a wall or ceiling!" Izzy laughed and grabbed a bunch of pots from the cabinet and ran out the door. "Byeeee!"

"Okay then..." Courtney rolled her eyes and walked over to her disgusting breakfast, It was now a soup with brown chunks floating in it. She looked disgusted and she didn't even want to taste it. It was at this point in life she was grateful that she and Chris got all their food catered.

Courtney managed to find some juice of some kind in the fridge. She wasn't sure what kind of juice it was. She just knew it wasn't apple juice or piss. So she decided she would serve that to them too.

She finally finished the crappy cooking for the morning and just in time to because they all just finished running around the lake for no apparent reason except to give her time to make this food. They weren't impressed with her cooking either.

"What is this?" Jo asked as Courtney flung some in a bowl for Jo. "This looks disgusting."

"It's oatmeal." Courtney rolled her eyes. "Well it's supposed to be..."

"Is this safe for people to eat?" Cameron asked as Courtney flung some into his bowl.

"For your sake let's hope so!" Courtney glared at him. "It's the best I could do in an hour!"

"Okay, Geesh!" Cameron grabbed the tray and went to sit down.

"You threw this together in an hour?" Sam asked her. "You're a really bad cook aren't you?"

"Look! It was really short notice!" Courtney insisted "So, just eat it!"

"I'll take double portions of anything you make." Scott winked at Courtney.

"Is that supposed to impress me?" Courtney smirked.

"Yes." Scott smiled at her.

"Well I'm not." Courtney laughed and dropped some in a bowl for him. "You can still have double of this garbage though..."

Chris walked in and saw what they were eating and of course that just made him even more grateful for the bagel with cream cheese he was currently eating. The contestants glared at him for eating in front of him.

"What?" Chris asked. "You should be glad I left you guys take a break and eat at all."

"Glad?" Dakota rolled her eyes "You left us take a break so you could go and get some decent food while we have to eat your wife's crappy cooking!"

"For the last time, I tried!" Courtney yelled at them. "This was the best I could do unless you guys wanted to eat mice and bugs!"

"At least she tried." Chris shrugged. "I can personally say that the food she makes me is better..."

"THANK YOU!" Courtney threw her hands up in the air. "I told you I wasn't that bad of a cook!"

"Where's Chef?" Zoey asked.

"He's doing something else." Courtney rolled her eyes "So, I'll be cooking until he gets back."

"Hey Courtney, Do you want half of this bagel?" Chris asked her. "I'm getting really full and If you don't want it, I was thinking of throwing it on the ground and watch them fight over it..."

"I didn't eat yet." Courtney walked over to where Chris was "So yeah, I'll eat it."

"Great!" Chris told everyone else "Then I guess we can start the challenge!"

"You mean that run wasn't the challenge?" Scott glared at them.

"No. It wasn't." Chris told him. "But now it's time to actually start the challenge and Courtney I'm going to need your help!"

"Fine..." Courtney rolled her eyes. "This better not be stupid, Chris!"

"When have I ever done a stupid challenge?" Chris asked her.

"When haven't you?" Courtney rolled her eyes and grabbed him. "Let's just get this over with..."
