Reunited Love
Soft orange glowing orbs floated in the air above the festivities as the celebration raged on beneath. Laughter and chatter filled the air as the wizards and witches below mingled with each other, their troubles and worries pushed aside for the holidays. Not a single sad face was seen in the maze of colourful stalls and mouth watering smells of food, instead a depressed face gazed out of a large glass window above the main entrance to Hogwarts.
Sadness pooled in the owners emerald green eyes as he gazed out at the celebration below. Depression and angst washed over his soul as haunted memories dance through his mind, remembering that horribly fateful day that the two of them had been forcibly separated thanks to the goody two shoes for the greater good Albus Dumbledore.
At the thought of the aged Headmaster of Hogwarts spite and anger rose inside of him. A glare formed on Harry's face as his eyes landed on the Headmaster in the crowds, soaking up all of the attention from his 'adoring' public like water into a sponge, or like Lockheart. Harry's right hand twitched slightly in a silent plea for the familiar Holly and phoenix wand to be in it and aimed at the manipulative old man.
"I hope that old goat gets a taste of his own medicine," Harry muttered to himself bitterly as he watched witches and wizards alike crowd around Dumbledore like a moth to a flame.
Not bothering to hold back the dark angry growl that came from his lips, as everyone else was at the festival celebrating the defeat of Voldemort and the end of the war, Harry reached into his trouser pocket. His fingers gently touched an old worn bit of folded paper which he took hold and pulled out of his trouser pocket with a tender and loving expression on his face. As Harry unfolded the piece of paper, as if it was made of glass, and smoothed out the creases in it from being folded one too many times his anger and depression slowly faded away. Instead true love, wishful sadness, and a painful ache in his heart replaced it as he looked at the piece of paper which was an old photograph .
As Harry gazed at himself and the only other person in the photo with him his fingers lightly traced over the other person, with a fine tremble. Tears pooled under his eyes as Harry let out a deep wishful sigh as he stared at the blue haired blue who held Harry in a hold that screamed love, possessiveness, protection, and much more.
His heart, mind, soul and magic screamed for the teenager in the photo, the only person who could make Harry feel so...whole, so special and loved. Thoughts whirled about in Harry's mind as he stared at the aged photo of his beloved, Henry Wong.
'If I did find a way to get out of this hell hole, away from Dumbledore's manipulations, away from these follows who think I am going to marry Ginny...if I did get to Henry would he still want me? Would he even recognise me?' The painful thought made Harry wince as his mind happily supplied an image of Henry with his arms wrapped around a young beautiful woman in much the same way he had held Harry in the photo. 'Maybe I should just give in...maybe everyone is right. Henry has properly moved on now, it has been several years since we was last able to talk to each other...and who knows what Dumbledore has done to him...'
Unable to bear the emotional and mental pain any longer Harry carefully folded the old photograph back up and placed it into the safety of his trouser pocket. No matter what might happen between them or to Henry Harry was happy enough to have his precious photo of happier days. Letting out a stressed groan Harry ran a hand though is messy black hair for what seemed to be the millionth time that day and turned his attention back to the celebration below.
His emerald eyes scanned though the crowds below, sometimes smiling when he laid eyes on certain people while other times glaring darkly or frowning when they landed on someone eyes. Without thinking Harry rested his head against the cold glass window and stared out only for his frown to deepen when he spotted a familiar small figure wandering though the crowds which were moving aside for the strange little creature.
The longer Harry stared at the little creature and took in its cream white and apple green colouring with those ever so familiar long ears and single horn on his head shock and hope grew inside of him. He recognised the small bunny like creature, it was his precious Henry's Digimon partner, Terriermon.
'What is Terriermon doing here of all places?' Harry thought as he stared questioningly at Terriermon who seemed to be looking though the crowds for something, or someone, only o not find it or them. 'If Terriermon is here...then...could Henry be here too? But why? How? What is going on?'
Harry felt as if his hear had suddenly skipped a beat and he had stopped breathing as out of the crowds stepped a familiar person. As Harry watched Henry walk towards Terriermon and share a short conversation Harry felt the same love sick emotions from all those years ago well up inside of him, Henry's grey eyes still made Harry fell like he had all those years ago causing a small blush to form on Harry's face. The short blue hair seemed to frame Henry's face perfectly making him even more drool worthy in Harry's opinion. Much to Harry's amusement Henry still wore the same outfit he had worn all those years ago when they had first met, a orange jacket over a grey t-shirt, brown trousers, grey/yellow shoes and white wrist bands.
'What is going on?' Harry thought as he felt his lips twitch upwards in a smile, an action that he had not done in months. 'What in Merlin's beard is Henry and Terriermon doing here of all places? How did they manage to get past Dumbledore and the Order?'
As he watched Henry and Terriermon interact with each other, gaining several curious looks from the surrounding crowd Harry spotted a certain angry Headmaster marching towards the pair. Harry felt as if his blood had turned to ice, his fear grew with each passing moment that the Headmaster got closer to Henry and Terriermon, even if Harry ran as fast as he could to them he would not make it in time.
It was all he could do to stand rooted to the spot and watch as his precious Henry and Digimon partner was about to be cruelly taken away from him. Just like before Harry found himself helpless and unable to do nothing but stand and watch, his heart felt as if it was breaking in half, Henry was so close yet he was so far away.
Unable to take anymore Harry moved to take a step backwards, away from the window not wanting to witness what was most likely going to happen next, only to find himself frozen on the spot by a pair of amazing grey eyes. His heart pounded in his chest as Harry stared back into Henry's eyes, his mind and heart soured in happiness which only grew when Henry smiled. That wonderfully amazing smile that was reserved only for him and no one else.
"Henry," Harry said softly to himself as he raised a hand and placed it flat against the window, knowing that it was impossible for Henry to hear him. "Please come and free me from this prison."
When a worried frown appeared on Henry's face Harry felt himself suddenly becoming shy, he had forgotten how good Henry was at reading him. Tearing his attention away from Henry for just a moment Harry turned to look at the angry Headmaster who had just gotten though the large crowd of people. Henry followed Harry's gaze only for an unusual hard expression to appear on his face, it was one that Harry had only seen before once. On the day that Dumbledore had forcibly separated them both.
As the Headmaster made his way towards Henry, with only a few feet between them, Terriermon jumped in between Henry and Dumbledore in a protective manner. Harry winced, to him it was as if he was watching that day happen all over again, Terriermon had done the exact same thing that day too. Words filled with anger and hatred were shared a few seconds latter making Harry's fears grow, today was turning out to take the same identical path as that day had all those years ago.
About to give up hope Harry took a step backwards only to freeze once again when Henry shoved a piece of paper out into the aged Headmaster's hands roughly. To Harry's confusion a gleeful smug expression appeared on both Henry's and Terriermon's faces as Dumbledore looked down at the piece of paper.
Confusion floated about in Harry's mind as he watched Dumbledore unfold the piece of paper and read it. Curiously joined Harry's confusion as he watched the emotions play out clear as day on Dumbledore's face. First confusion followed by anger, then shock, and finally disbelief. As soon as Dumbledore finished reading the piece of paper Harry watched as he spat out a few choice words, none of them were properly nice, before snarling and walking away leaving Henry and Terriermon alone and unharmed.
Hope and happiness fluttered in Harry's heart, his emotions at war with themselves as he watched everything unfold. The gathered crowd, realising that the confirmation between the Headmaster of Hogwarts and the strange foreign young man was over, lost interest and disappeared going back to the celebration. Turning his full attention back to Henry Harry found himself pinned in place by Henry's gaze, a silent order to stay put and not move was clearly held within them. Unable and not wanting Harry simply nodded his head in understanding and sent Henry a small weak smile.
Harry watched as the smile he sent Henry was returned before his lover turned, quickly spoke to Terriermon and walked towards the castle. Suddenly feeling like a nervous wreck Harry straightened himself out, attempting to flatten his hair, smooth out his clothes to get rid of any winkles and creases. He even patted himself down several times, making sure that not a single piece of clothing or item on his body was out of place.
'I cannot believe that this is really about to happen, I feel like this is all just a dream' Harry thought with excitement dancing in his eyes as he stood still waiting for Henry's and Terriermon's arrival. 'I wonder how much Henry has changed...it has been so long since we were last able to met. Does he still feel the same for me that I feel for him?'
Doing his best to remain calm Harry nervously bit his lower lip and stared straight ahead at the only door to the area he was in. The smiles, laughter and happiness from the festival below now held a whole new meaning for Harry as he stood waiting for Henry and Terriermon. A small nervous smile danced on his lips only for it to change into a horror filled one as dark thoughts began to rise up inside Harry's mind.
'What if they saw me and decided to avoid this part of the castle? What if Henry is simply relived to know where I am so he does not have to worry about accidently meeting me in the hallways?' Harry thought as once again his thoughts turned fearful as the comforting gaze and look from Henry disappeared slowly. 'What if they are not even here to see me...they might be here to talk to one of the teachers or someone who is here because of the celebration.'
Feeling his emotions beginning to run away Harry paused and took a deep breath, something that was fast becoming a bad habit. His heart pounded in his chest as he tried to calm down only for his emotions to get the best of him once again as the sound of footsteps came to his ears.
With each passing moment Harry felt another emotion join in with the sea of emotions. His stomach turned, fear, love, angst, and anxiety was just to name a few. Bright weary emerald green eyes stared straight ahead as the sound of the footsteps grew louder and louder.
"Harry?" an accented voice asked as it came floating from the hallway on the other side of the doorway and into the area that Harry stood stone still like a garden statue in. "Harry?"
"You can finally say my name right," Harry said finally, after several long seconds which he felt as if his words had been captured in his throat, saying the very first thing that came to his mind. "Oh Merlin! How dumb I must of just sounded! I-"
"Am the same as all those years ago," the voice said fondly, this time it was closer and held the same fondness and love in it that Harry remembered. "I missed you so much, I have been looking for you since that horrible day."
"R-Really?" Harry asked in shock, unaware and uncaring of the moister growing in his eyes as hope blossomed inside of him like a new flower bud flowering in spring. "B-But I thought...after all these years, that you would..."
A hand came into Harry's view as it wrapped around the door frame. "Forget you? That my feelings for you grew less and less over time?" Harry felt as if his heart had stopped as the owner of the voice, Henry walked into the area with an ever so familiar smile on his face that made Harry's knees shake. "Impossible, I told you back then that if we were ever separated I would track you down to the ends of the human and digital worlds and father."
"And you have, you kept your word," Harry said with a watery smile, his whole body begging for a hug from Henry. "I...I cannot believe it, after so long...so many years we have spent apart you still managed to find me. In Hogwarts of all places too!"
"Moment-time!" Terriermon shouted out happily as he jumped from one foot to another with grinning up at the pair. "Kiss and hug! Bring back the old days!"
Harry felt his face go bright red at Terriermon's words. Though Henry's next words caused his whole face to light up like a Christmas Tree. Harry found himself feelings those long forgotten emotions that had died that tragic day he and Henry had been forced to part. As Harry lifted his gaze slowly from Terriermon up to Henry Harry felt his heart flutter as that amazing pair of heart wooing eyes gazed at him intensely, thousands of words and emotions clearly displayed within them, all just for Harry.
Without a single word shared between them Henry lovingly placed a hand on Harry's face, Harry lent into it with a happy sigh and smile. Their eyes stayed connected, communicating those long lost emotions, the ones they had desperately wished to share over the years apart.
Then, as if out of a fairytale, Henry slowly lent forwards towards Harry's lips. Harry felt his heart pound in his chest in pure joy as he closed his eyes and happily accepted the kiss from the only person he would ever allow to kiss him in such a way. Their lips met in a bitter sweet moment, the gentle contact full of feeling, hunger, need and love.
"Perfect!" Terriermon said with a large smile on his face as he watched the two lovers step towards each other and embrace the other. "Perfect for each other, meant for each other!"
As the pair reluctantly separated as the need for the air grew too much Henry smiled brightly and passionately at his Harry with a pair of bright red swollen lips. Harry, not remembering when he had opened his eyes smiled back.
"I agree with you Terriermon," Henry said without stepping away from Harry or looking away from Harry. "We are perfect for each other, I will not allow anyone to separate us again. I refuse to let it happen, we have a future and family to plan for after all."
"So you remembered to find out if males in the Wizarding World can get pregnant then?" Harry asked with a shaky but joyous laugh. "I cannot believe it! You actually remembered to find that out."
"Of course I did, I told you I would," Henry answered with a grin that sent a shiver though Harry's body. "Now that we are together again do not expect me to let you out of my sight ever again."
"I would have it no other way," Harry replied with a happy sigh as he took a small step closer to Henry and rested his head against Henry's shoulder. "I...I love you Henry, with all my heart. I never want to be separated from you again."
A tender expression crossed Henry's face as he gazed down at Harry with a loving expression on his face and ran a tender hand though Harry's messy black hair. Henry's other arm stayed firmly planted around Harry's waist, keeping the slightly smaller male firmly nestled against him.
"Of course, we are together forever. I refuse to allow us to be separated ever again," Henry said honestly as he moved his hand away from Harry's hair and reached into his trouser pocket. "Which is why I did my research about this world, I would of never of known about it to look for you here if you had not told me everything all those years ago, and I found out about a very interesting law."
"Oh?" Harry asked without moving his head from its very comfortable spot. "And what might that be?"
"Gift time!" Terriermon shouted out suddenly with a large knowing grin on his face. "I approve of it! Henry had a very good idea!"
Harry tilted his head slightly to allow him and Henry to see each other's faces better before sending his beloved a sly grin. Henry gulped, he recognised that expression on his precious' face, it always meant two things for him. Trouble for him or enjoyment for him.
"Is this so called good idea of yours have anything in it that might result in the same way that your last good idea did?" Harry asked with a sly smile which only grew as Henry's whole face went bright red. "I never knew just how many different places sand and ice-cream could get into. Though...I enjoyed the experience a lot. Do you think we could do something like that again together?"
"Of course we can," Henry said softly as he pulled his hand out of his pocket and covered Harry's smaller hand with his own. "After all, we have all the time in the world to do whatever we want to do. One where no one can ever say that we are not meant to be together and you are not mine. See?"
Following Henry's gaze down to the hand he was holding Harry watched with bright emerald green eyes as Henry slowly removed his hand. Only to revile a simple but beautiful silver band ring with a small flat jewel in it that matched Henry's eyes perfectly.
"A-A...oh Henry! Do you really mean it?" Harry gasped out in shock as tears poured down his face like a waterfall. "Do you really know what this ring means and shows?"
"I do, and I mean it," Henry replied truthfully and honestly. "I am never letting you go again, besides I had intended for us to marry at some point. Did you know that I started to look into this a few days before we were horribly separated?"
"R-Really?" Harry questioned as hope and happiness blossomed inside of him. All of the stress and anxiety he had been feeling disappeared as he relaxed into Henry's loving and protective hold. "Is that why you kept disappearing for when I was showing you around the magical part of Japan's shopping area for that day?"
"Correct, I was busy asking the shop workers for help and grilling them on several points," Henry answered with a small chuckle as laughter shone in his eyes. "By the end of that day I knew more about the subject than all of the shop workers combined."
"I...thank you Henry, thank you so much for loving me, looking for me and never giving up," Harry said as he wiped his tears away. "Oh, Henry?"
"Hmmmm?" Henry questioned as he happily basked in the warmth and presence of Harry while watching Terriermon exploring the area.
"Yes."
"Yes what?" Henry asked, a confused frown appeared on his face. "What are you saying yes to, love?"
"For when you ask me to marry you...I mean if you do as me to marry you," Harry said, quickly correcting himself as his whole face went bright red. "I am saying yes in advance if you ever ask me to marry you."
Henry let out a happy laugh. "Oh Harry, you have not changed a single bit from your wonderful self I knew. Thank you for letting me know, I defiantly will make sure to remember your 'yes'."
"Best Digimon-Man, moment-time," Terriermon shouted out from the other side of the area where he was exploring happily. "At Henry's and Harry's wedding I want to be a Best Digimon-Man!"
"Best Digimon-man?" Harry asked as he gave Henry a pointed look. "What is Terriermon talking about?"
"To try and explain things to him I let Terriermon watch several...romance movies with happy weddings at the end," Henry deadpanned with a soft groan making Harry chuckle lightly. "I should of known that he would come out with something like this."
"Well I see no problem with what Terriermon is saying," Harry said surprising Henry. "Besides, it will give our wedding a nice touch of all three worlds."
"I like that...the Normal Human world, the Wizarding world, and the Digital world...it sounds perfect for us," Henry said with a loving smile as he gazed at Harry. "You know...we have only just reunited after several years apart yet we are already planning our future and wedding together...it...I cannot help it but to do so it just feels so..."
"Right? Perfect?"
"Yes, it does, and more so," Henry said as he placed a loving kiss on Harry's forehead. "With you everything is perfect. I cannot wait for our future together."
